Been going here long time so theres that. Never fails that Im here waiting several hours even with an appointment. Why make an appointment if you arent getting in? Its not an isolated incident as it happens every time I come here whether simple rotation or brake and alignment. Doesnt matter.

We came in for a flat repair even though there were no appointments available. They squeezed us in within a couple hours with the kindest customer support. They reinstalled the tire and checked the air in the rest all at no cost!! We’ll definitely be remembering Les Schwab the next time we need tire service!!

I got a piece of metal in my tires nobody seem to have that Tire. I travel from Minnesota how to put on in Camas Washington. They were very courteous and very fast. I would recommend them to my family and friends.

Very poor service. Went in this morning to buy a new set of tires and rims for my truck and a set of tires for my wife’s car. The person who helped me didn’t spend 5 min talking to me before giving me an estimate on a set of rims I didn’t even pick out. He then proceeded to tell me, he would have to call me and give me prices on the others. I tried telling him I was ready to buy, but evidently it fell on deaf ears. I will find another company that wants to take my $3,000 elsewhere....Update 5/20/21 - I gave this location another shot, and was pleasantly surprised. They gave us a sincere apology, a very competitive price on rims and tires, and provided first-class customer service. I was very pleased with the treatment we received, and will go back after our most recent experience. Thanks Les Schwab, for “making it right!”

Went in for a flat repair (found someones lost nail) on my old Jeep Cherokee. The crew here were courteous, professional and quick. They had me in-and-out in no time; I didnt even finish my popcorn before I had to go.The showroom was clean and well-organized. Several rims and tires are on display and theres a neat computer system that allows you to get a virtual view of how any rim/tire would appear on any make/model.And the flat repair was at zero cost since Id purchased the tires at a Less Schwab location.Awesome.

Great experience as Ive had at other les schwab facilities but I came to this one in particular for their experience with Dodge Vipers. While I can get tires put on anywhere, its nice to know the tech there Eric has experience with some of the nuances of Vipers. Worth the extra drive.

Waste of time. Spent $600 on an alignment and they neglected to tighten my control arm bolts. Took it back and asked them to also swap my summer tires on. They tightened the bolts and verified my alignment, but neglected to swap my tires. Im sure they would have swapped them if I asked a second time but Ive already wasted too much time on them. Never again.

Ive been there multiple times and never had any issues or long waiting periods. The employees have always been nice to deal with and helpful.

Service was fast, and they were pretty good about making sure they understood what to do before doing it so they didnt make a mistake. The only thing I would say is that they didnt have the best attention to detail. I had a center cap on an old rim and when they mounted the new rim they didnt put the center cap on it, so now I have to take the tire off to do it myself.

Super helpful and friendly. Best local car service around. Literally any of their locations are this way too. Not just for tire issues only. There are things they cannot do, but theyll do everything they can to get back on the road safe and sound. Ive gone to them multiple times and theyve been lifesavers when you need to get back driving.

I had never had a good experience with Les Schwab until I went to this one. All of the employees spent most of the day helping me get back on the road when I was left stranded 220 miles from home with a classic car with an unusual tire size I had just bought. They truly went above and beyond and I am grateful to Rich and the team of employees who work there. When tax season comes around next year, I know where I’m buying my wheels for daily driving.

These guys were great! I just stopped in to get my air pressure checked and they found a nail in my tire. They fixed it right then and there.

My moms car died in front of our daughters elementary school yesterday. My wife called this particular Les Schwab and was handled by CHAD. While my wife was talking to CHAD she was using jumper cables to help start the car. It worked! So my wife told CHAD we were going to make a run for it and try to drive the car down to Les Schwab. As soon as the car was unhooked, it died again. I called down to the shop and was transferred to CHAD. Told him the car died again and he diagnosed over the phone that it was the alternator and NOT the 2 year old battery that was purchased at this particular shop and had a 5 year warranty on. I told him that I’ve had an alternator go out before and not even jumper cables would help my car start and that it had to be the battery. CHAD responded “I doubt that. But it’s not a service we do”. So I told him to go back to doing nothing, he didn’t need to worry about it. We towed the car to HI WAY fuel and they diagnosed it with....wait for it....a dead battery. Replaced the battery and guess what happened next? The car started right up and is running like new. If you need someone to help you, Gunderson Les Schwab is not your place. I would highly recommend HI WAY FUEL. Pat and his team are amazing! Go back to sleep CHAD.

Quick friendly service

I went in to get new tires for my new set of rims put on my car, the customer service was very good and they were able to get me in day of which was awesome. I had planned to keep the old set of rims and tires as a spare set however to my dismay they had removed the old tires from the old rims and got rid of them. They also asked if I wanted to keep the lugs nuts for the old rims... that should be obvious not the throw them out, but they never mentioned they planned to ditch my old tires with about 25 percent tread on them.Edit: When I went in after 100 miles for the alignment the employee took my car for a test drive for some reason and told me they couldnt perform the alignment due to bad control arms. But he said he heard a clunk sound at fast hard braking, I was curious how hard he drove my car. I went to review my dashcam footage, and his test drive was missing with only a second of the dashcam powering on before being unplugged by the employee. Only reason it would cut out and the plug is next to the gear shift with a blue light, so it was obvious. As a valet it would be shamefull for me to touch a dashcam or any other personally property in a vehicle.Will not be having my lower control arms replaced here and will now happily drive to Vancouver for future service.

When I walked in there it was on a day when it was going to snow so they were busy. That was not the problem. There was one person behind the counter helping somebody the other person was demonstrating to a customer how to put chains on a tire. I got in line and waited my turn. When it was finally my turn a couple guys walked in the door and one of them was apparently friends with the guy behind the counter who was now open. They shook hands and he started to help them with their order even though there were seven of us standing in line waiting our turn. When I finally did get to the counter I got the lady who was helping the guy with chains earlier. She helped me handed me my receipt and told me that someone would bring my change out from the hallway to my right. After 10 minutes of standing there and several employees walking by I still did not have my chains. Even though someone who was after me got theirs. I went back to the counter and asked her if she knew how much longer it would be. Oh you didnt ask one of the employees she said. She then got on the overhead and called out my order number. Another bag of chains came through the door again for a different customer. I finally stopped the guy who helped his friends first and said hey Ive been waiting 10 minutes can you please get me the chains? He said no problem and came up with a dirty bag of chains. They were unused but the bag was dirty. I have shopped at Les Schwab stores in three states and Ive been a customer for well over 20 years. This was hands down the worst experience ever. I dont mind waiting as long as Im being taken care of and I did not feel like I was being taken care of here.

You just dont get any better than this. In a time when most companies only nod to customer service Les Schwab works hard to maintain their reputation for excellent service. Its a fast pace environment and they excel and getting the job done and getting it done correctly.

Stevhan (I hope I spelled that right) and Rich were helpful as hell when it came to putting 35s on our F-350. They charged me for a seasonal change (cheap!) and then when my tires were too big, they shaved down my bumper. I drove off and realized it was still rubbing pretty bad, so I drove back and Stevhan walked out asap to help me again. He double checked it didnt rub at all and now a little over a week later, the tires are great. Thanks again guys! We really appreciate you.

Amazing service. Went in for a new tire and expected to be paying for all of my tires to be rebalanced as well. The guys helping me out explained what the issue was with the tire that needed changing, and told me that it wasnt necessary to have all of them balanced. They saved me a good bit of money that other places may not have. I really appreciate that, and will be going to this location whenever I have issues with my tires in the future, despite not even living in town.

Came in to get my brakes checked, and was given a price instead. They never even looked at my car, just said I needed new brakes and gave me a very over priced quote. They are all about making money. I did not get work done there. I went somewhere else, had them checked and did not need new brakes. Les Schwab is only concerned with making money. Horrible company.

Les Schwab a alright tire store, certainly not the business it use to be decades ago though! Back decades ago you could not get in their parking lot and get out of your vehicle without one of their employees meeting you as you step out of your vehicle! These days are not the same by any means, you go inside and maybe a employee will notice you and offer to help you or you may be standing there a while waiting for someone to notice you and offer to help! One of those hit or miss quick service deals! I really don’t go to Les Schwab much if at all these days since they no longer carry the wild country or wildcat tires. I have heard least a rumor they were bringing back these tires though? If and when I hear they actually have them in stock again I’ll have to go in and check them out again and make sure it’s still the same old tire or just the name slapped on some other style of tire? The old wildcats or wild country tires were amazing off road tires and didn’t wear out too terribly fast using them on road either. Their performance on snow or in the sand was absolutely amazing! I use to go play in the snow 4 wheeling with numerous friends in their vehicles that follow me and they all get stuck while my wildcats or country’s just kept pulling me along! Wasn’t long back then when my friends all switched to Wild Country’s or cat tires! Such a shame these tires were retired for whatever reason? For years and years it was the only tires I would ever buy for my 4x4’s! I have seen other brand of tires with the same basic tire pattern as the wildcats or country’s, but they didn’t perform nearly as well for some reason? I ‘m assuming it’s the type of rubber their using? Hope the new wildcats and/or country’s will be still the same tire as years ago?

Les Schwab isn’t the business it use to be decades ago unfortunately, they use to really go out of their way to show the importance to having customers where they meet you at your vehicle offering to help before you could hardly get out of your vehicle! These days you go inside and stand at their desk and hope someone offers to help in 5 minutes or so if you’re lucky! Unfortunately since they no longer sell their wild country or Wildcat tires, I have no need to go here any longer for my off-road/highway tires. They carry a different off-road tire now, but doesn’t have any warranty on it like they did with their wild country or wildcat tires! Since that’s their policy now, unfortunately there’s just better places to get off-road/highway tires now! Unfortunately Les Schwab just don’t have the appeal to go there for my tires any more!

Quickly got me two new tires for less than quoted elsewhere

I found them to be very courteous and helpful. When I brought in a flat tire to get repaired, they fixed it within 25 minutes and then called me to come and pick it up. When I arrived, the guy said that I was all set, to which I replied that I hadnt paid for it yet. He said that theyll take care of it, to which I said again that I hadnt paid for it (just in case he hadnt heard me). He said again that they would take care of it and that Im all good to go. It was very refreshing to see a business that seemed to be more about taking care of customers rather than making as much money as they can.

Good place. Courteous, helpful, friendly, good prices, never any problem with the quality of their work. Sometimes I go in without an appointment for a sudden problem (like I suddenly realize its the last day to switch out studded tires!) and they fit me right in if they can, no fuss. Feels like a local family business instead of a national chain. Good place.

Awesome service. Just needed a screw removed and the the tire repaired. Fixed it right up and didnt charge me a dime. I didnt even get the tires from les Schwab. Also gave me printed estimates for struts for our Honda and wheels and tires for our Jeep Renegade which nobody has been able to help me find A/T tires that will fit and there the tires I want at a very reasonable price.

The Les Schwab Tire Center in Camas Washington is a great location to deal with. Theyre good people, locals to the community, and are able to help you figure out the best deal for you. We needed some work done, not sure how to pay for it, they suggest it we apply for their Care Credit program. The payments are extremely affordable and we were able to get all the repairs done up front!

They are losing their touch...Hence the three of five stars. Ive been a customer of this, the very last independently-owned store, for some 25 years. Last week, I called ahead to have a battery ready to go, got a when, and came in.Oh, do we have a battery waiting for you?They didnt. Clueless. Never pulled and readied a battery.I had to go through all the selection criteria again, and then wait while they pulled, filled, and quick-charged a battery for my car.Last year, my wifes SUV needed tires.I was quoted $1400, for some odd-brand tires.They didnt used to be restricted to the Corporate lines; now they appear to be. I used to be able to choose from a wide selection of tire manufacturers. Not any longer.I thanked them for the quote, said Id think about it.I got a set of Michelin tires at Discount, for $550 less. (Its easy to beat Costcos prices.)In review: one star off for expensive, odd-brand tires, one star off for a major failure in Customer Service.

Shredded the snow socks on my Infiniti on a gravel hill with the recent snowfall and they were wrapped around my front axles so badly I couldn’t pull them off. Of course I was also in a rush for work so the guys at the East Camas Les Schwab jumped on it and cut off the remaining fabric (btw, the socks work great but not on gravel!) and put me back on the road in 10 min. Appreciate the great service and will definitely be back. Thank you!

Came in for a screw in one of my rear tires, even though they were packed, I was able to get in and out in about an hour. Their waiting lounge is large and they have complimentary coffee and popcorn, and the best thing of all, they did not charge me for fixing my tire! Will def come back for future repairs and tire purchasing.

I had a tire that was slowly losing air I pulled in to camas les Schwab, a very polite young man came up to my car I told him what was going on . He had me pull my car into a bay took my tire off and found a small nail he patched the hole put my tire back on checked the air pressure on the other tires. I am very pleased with my experience there.

Great service friendly and happy staff I was told it would be 2 hours but it wound up being one which was better. They have a little kids area with kids books and a kiddie table. Complementary popcorn and coffee as usual. Their pretty knowledgeable and give you options.

I had called and asked a question and it seemed like they didnt care and tried to rush me off the phone. They didnt say their name or anything, I guess they really didnt want my business.

They did not note the issue correctly when I called so the work did not get done properly when I came in for my appointment. They sent my truck out incomplete. My brakes are in question. This is the second time in a month at a Schwab and I still have vibration and squeak. When I called to ask why, I was giving all kinds of excuses, but no apologies, no solutions to solve my complaints. I have a warranty that is close to ending and my feelings are that they are trying to push it out until the warranty is up. The only reason Im even having Schwab work on the truck is because They Will honor the warranty! I highly recommend finding another company.

My whole interaction here was deception. I came in to have a leak fixed for one tire. They said all my tires were bad and it was alignment. My front tires were under warranty with Les Schwab with only half the life of the tires used (19,000 miles) in less than 2 years. They said they would replace them and charge half price. Here is the real story: They charged double and then took half off (I researched the prices when I got home.) They put on the wrong tires for my car make and model -amazing since tires are their specialty. The warranty says the replacement would be free, but of course that wasnt offered. I suspect my tires werent as bad as they said since I had them inspected just a few months ago by a shop. My alignment has only been off for a few months so the wear on the tires may have been exaggerated. The person I paid stated he has worked there 23 years. I dont know how you stay in business this long being so dishonest with customers. The people at Wal-Mart knew more about tires than these guys (apparently) which is incredulous. I assumed Les Schwab would put the correct tires on my car without me checking first, but I was wrong so now I have to go back, waste more of my time, and make sure they do. BEWARE! *Especially if you are a woman.

We love Les Schwab. We started there in the am to get the tires rotated. Picked up our 5th wheel, which had a flat tire. So we ended up there to get the tire fixed. Great Service and friendly Staff!

I went to Gunderson a couple of weeks ago for a trip check on my tires. Rotation of tires, balancing and checking to see if I needed replacements. They said my tires were great and rotated and balanced my tires.Then separately I went to another shop to have my engine looked over (for my trip). This place does not do tires by the way. I go to pick up my van and the guy said I would not go anywhere with your tires. They are all bad. Seriously bad.So back to Gunderson I go. Mad. And the lady at the counter said,oh yeah, your tires on the back are bad but the front still have a ton of life left. So I replace the back tires.Coming home from my trip the last two hundred miles my van is shaking. And I think surely it couldnt be my tires??? I go BACK AGAIN to Gunderson when I get home. My front two tires are bad. I asked the same lady at the front desk why I was cleared less than two weeks ago on these tires? She gave the excuse that it happened after my check.The guys who did the work were very kind and polite. I think they were not very thorough the first two visits to the tire shop.

Was excellent.I brought in a my 1969 Charger to my Local Les Schwab Tire Center .There was a strange noise coming from my front passenger side tire area when driving.I took Ed for a drive in the car, Then he put it on the rack .Ed fixed the problem in 15 minutes and refused payment.I will always be a customerThank you Ed for your genuine concern for my car and my safety.

Big tire chain stores are one of, if not the biggest scam being pulled on the average consumer. Les Schwab is one of the worst. Not only will you pay literally double for tires and brakes but you will probably spend hours sitting in the waiting room while doing it. Nearly every average size town has a local tire shop these days probably more than a few. Its most likely not fancy, but do yourself a favor and just stop by your local no name tire shop and price a set of tires for your vehicle, then go into les Schwab and do the same. Youll see.

I was on the way to an emergency vet appointment and got a flat. They were able to get it fixed right away so I could take care of my pup! Thank you, guys!

I have been coming to this Les Schwab Tire Center since 1976, in the old building, and the newer one on 8th Ave. Rich, Debbie, Heidi, Chad, Keith and the entire crew are fantastic. I have purchased over 13 sets of tires for vehicles, many tires for the boats and trailers I have brought in, 6 sets of snow tires, and little wheels for yard implements. They have fixed wiring, put in new brakes, solved shock and alignment problems, provided spare tires, and checked for the overall condition and safety of my vehicles. I could not be more satisfied with this dealer. They even helped support my Hood to Coast team. If I were chosen to do a commercial for them, I would, and it would be an honest retelling of the great servicing that they do plus their excellent customer service. They are what makes a customer want to go back to them.

Managing the “Customer Experience” has been a big part of most of my jobs throughout my 30-year professional life. I am **literally** a professional customer service critic, and I am NOT easy to please or impress.Yesterday, upon leaving our vet clinic, I discovered a totally flat tire. I couldn’t change it – found out I lacked the tools to get my spare freed up. That’s embarrassing for an ex-army officer who has changed tracks on armored personnel carriers.When I called Kurt Gunderson at Les Schwab, I got what I almost never get these days – quick and efficient answers to simple questions. I asked Kurt to email two links to possible replacement tires, which he did in about 2 minutes. Compare that to most places, which would say, “duh, I can’t do that…”.Then Kurt got me in touch with Chad. After just a couple of questions, Chad came out in his truck and put my spare tire on. It was only about 30-35 minutes after my initial call with Kurt. What happened next was such a small thing, but it is what separates Chad from everyone else. I followed Chad to the tire center, and my wife was following me. Chad knew we were not from the area, and when we were separated because of a red light, he pulled over just beyond the light to wait for my wife, so she wouldn’t get lost. This little bit of class, common courtesy, and professionalism is what I’ve tried to instill in MY teams in my professional life. Most Millennials would have kept on driving.Once we arrived at the tire center, my Xterra was elevated within 5 minutes after my arrival. I’ve never seen that happen before, and I’m 50 years old. Eric quickly changed the tire and brought it down. Of course I tested the stability, balance, and alignment by driving on the highway a few minutes later – and it drove perfectly.Three people combined to give me some of the best, fastest, and easiest service that I’ve seen in a long, long time. Not a single complaint. When you offer service like that, it’s like having a great brand. You’ll never need to worry about recessions or competition. Your customers will continue to show up.

I love les schwab in camas they are very honest and nice. I was quoted by else where i needed new tires which i did not thonk so so i took it to. Les schwab and told me my tires are good for along time. I did not need new tires but they did rotate my tires and fixed my tire that was leaking all for free.

The owner of this place, Rich, is a knowledgeable and down to earth guy. No high pressure tactics or gimmicks, just honest advice - mostly from personal experience. I ended up spending more than I wanted, but I have peace of mind. And hopefully now shreddin in storms on Hood will be a regularity. Oh also about spending a little more, he hooked it up with a reasonable payment plan. Def doesnt hurt to give them a call to find out what your options are, playurrrr.

I have used other Les Schwab tire centers and had great experiences but the Camas location on 8th is absolutely amazing service. I highly recommend this store. Fast, Honest and very knowledgeable service techs.
