I give this range five stars because of Lee. He is a fantastic teacher. I’m sitting here now watching him work with my 10 year old daughter and he’s a master at making her feel safe and confident. Thank you, Lee!!Additionally a lot of the employees here are very cool and enjoyable to deal with. I wish I could say the same for the young lady that “helped” us tonight. Simply put, she’s rude and seems very annoyed by our presence. Maybe she should find another job. Too bad. Employees like this, if not addressed will ultimately have a detrimental effect on the business they work for.

As a 1st time gun owner/ shooter, I scheduled a private lesson.Mike was my instructor he was very professional and knowledgeable and he listened and answered my many questions. The hands on experience with his observations and positive criticism was exactly what I need, very positive and I will be visiting this place again to learn my new skill .Thank you

Just joined the membership today and shot 200 round the same day.Competent RSO and friendly staff members. Comparing to other indoor ranges, SafeFire allows bringing in my own ammos as long as they are FMJ. Theres no additional charge on bringing own ammo which is a big plus. Also theres an option to draw from holster with a certificate. ($100)Their gun store is worth taking a look at. When I was there I found a CZ Shadow 2 for only $1284.99. To bad they cant sell guns to Oregon residents or I could have taken it home.This is my practice range from now.

First experience was great. Staff was informative and exceptionally knowledgeable. Second experience.........well lets say not so nice. Staff was rude and hurried. When I asked about ordering a firearm was straight up told to do it on my own and they dint have the time. That being said I no longer feel a need to spend another dime here. Nice while it lasted I guess. Good thing another shop not too far away was more than happy to help. Google locations near there and you will find real customer service and appreciation.

Been here a few times. The employees are pleasant. The prices are great. They have special seasonal range passes that are a great deal! I drive all the way from Portland just to shoot here. Will continue to come back.

I shot in Scouts and never since. Long time. Getting back to it I do know some things but it’s very unfamiliar. Surely these folks could tell and were helpful, polite, and very safe getting me going hitting some targets. I’ll be back. I might even snag a membership.

Strange encounter with the employee at this range. A chunky SRO kicked me and my retired Marine friend out for unsafe handling. Trust me bud, after 6 whole years of training and Afghanistan tours he handles arms safer than you! We will take a business elsewhere next time.

We had such a terrible experience because the lady at the checkout. I don’t know her name but she was extremely disrespectful and rude. We came in as a family and the minute we walked in she kept giving us mean stares.At checkout she yelled at us for not following rules which were not clear at the first place because one person said one thing and she had her own set of rules.I hope the owner of the place reads this and fires her. We will never be coming back because of the disrespect and hate we received from her.

I was turned away because they we 40 minutes to close and the fight for 15$ clerk wanted to go home early. DO NOT SHOOT HERE!

Ive been to this range multiple times. Ive brought brand new shooters in before and Im no expert myself. The range officers are always so friendly and helpful. One of my friends was really struggling and one of the range officers helped him out by showing him the basics. I personally have a problem with anticipation. I didnt catch his name but the range officer, who was a Marine, helped me to focus on my sight picture and I saw substantial improvement in my accuracy right away. I will definitely continue to come here.

These guys and gals are fantastic. I took a rifle in that hadn’t been shot in 20+ yrs with a newly mounted scope that I inherited. They really took their time to make sure I was comfortable and understood all the ins and out of both the firearm and the scope, we were able to sight it in, in no time. Pretty sure it was Mark and Bob who helped me on the range. Thanks again, I was little out of element when I entered but you guys really made me feel comfortable and confident by time I left.

This place was the best. I have been going to this range at least 2 times a week to practice with my rifle. I have had the same rifle since October when I started going here and used the same round. The staff have even shot my rifle. I go in today and all of a sudden it is to large of a caliber. When they check my rounds at a minimum of three or four times while I am there. The only excuse is that the people checking did know the velocity of the round. Most of the people working there are ex military. Just throw your people under the bus. I will never go to this place again. Just lost a loyal customer. I will find a place that is consistent.

My wife and I visited last year from Australia. The facilities were great. Range lanes are clean and well maintained. The gun rental system is useful for trying things out, they have a huge variety of pistols and rifles. I was able, for instance, to try out an integrally suppressed Silencerco Maxim 9. My wife was able to try multiple guns until she found something that was comfortable to shoot - a single stack 9mm 1911.The main thing that stood out however was the truly excellent service we received from Cody. We really appreciated the care and attention he gave us while instructing, as well as him sharing his military and police experiences. Despite our lack of previous experience, he had us shooting tight groups by the end of our session. What a legendary bloke!Overall a really enjoyable experience. If I was a local, I know that Id make this my regular range.

Range is great - 5 stars. Clean, safe, RSO present - no sketchy antics from patrons. For new shooters, help is abundant.I want to give this facility 5 stars - it really is a tremendous resource. A recent group class experience left bad aftertaste. Professionals (including firearm instructors) should keep away from the big 3 you never discuss at work (especially with students); sex, religion, and politics. Clean up your act, be professional and courteous, be inclusive. F.A.S. in Onalaska may be a good training alternative.

This place is awesome. Went with a friend, brought our own handgun. It was our first time to this range and the employees were super patient explaining the process. You can have multiple people on one lane, they don’t make you buy their ammo, and they have a bunch of rentals available for $25. The range itself is well maintained, And the officers were very pleasant. Definitely recommend coming here to shoot.

Ive been talking about going here for a long time and wish I had been going here from the beginning. Went to Safefire for the first time today and I have to say I was quite impressed! This was my first time ever at an indoor range and my first time at an officiated range in 20 years. SafeFire is clean and cordial. I brought three of my own weapons and ammo. I used their targets. Their systems are to notch and smooth. RO even allowed my to use my own target to sight in my carbine. Then I discovered that I didnt have the tool to adjust my sight. One of the ROs tracked down the tool I needed. I even caught the other RO giving tips to a young man that was clearly new. I couldnt have been more impressed anywhere else. I anticipate many more visits to SafeFire in my future.

This place is AMAZING. They talk to you step by step for first timers and the best practice on safety. Prices are great. The staff very knowledgeable and nice.

Its a great range very clean. The range officers are very friendly and helpful. The hourly lane rate is fair and if you bring your own weapons you can use your own ammo (if you bring an AR or other sporting rifle they only allow non metallic rounds check their website for further details on that). Best of all, the ranges are climate controlled, so they neither too hot or too cold.They also offer coaching and safety courses; as well as courses for concealed carry.I will be going back!

Went in yesterday and had a great time! The facility is very clean & inviting and the staff is very friendly & helpful! They offer several classes for all levels but even if you dont take one they are all super eager to help if you have any questions! For example I started out shooting ok but started to hit low as I shot longer, I was kinda confused thinking maybe my sights were getting out of adjustment but a quick chat with John and I was right back on target! Turns out its a common issue to start anticipating the recoil and pulling down to counteract it while squeezing the trigger. Really impressed with how helpful they are with giving out any advice you need without trying to get you to take their class! Although I am thinking about taking one just to get that much better, if they give all this advice as a courtesy I can only imagine how much I will learn from their classes!

This is by far the nicest range I have ever seen in my life. By which I mean clean, friendly and very safe. They are working on a wide range of classes firearms that they offer on a regular basis with qualified instructors. Recently they opened up an addicting virtual shooting range that is a great training tool, it has many shooting scenarios and they even have the ones made to teach law enforcement. This is a relativity new company and they are striving to keep improving what they have to offer to the public. I now shoot here on a regular basis and I am really glad to have such a great place so close to Portland and Vancouver.

Great people, amazing quality range. My only complaint is it isnt closer to where I live out in Gresham. Every range should be built to the standards this range is built to. That goes for safety, cleanliness, classiness, organization and professionalism. I own a business and I can say that if my business was a firearms/shooting range business I would choose to run it exactly how this business is run. The owner is friendly and she went out of her way to get me on the range when it seemed it wasnt going to work otherwise that day. Oh and Kagwerks and Post Malone utilize this facility, is there really any more that needs to be said? Pay these guys a visit!

5 stars for the experience for sure. It was clean and comfortable throughout. The staff was very good. There are wash stations for your hands, bathrooms right outside the shooting area, a table for you to get organized before you go in, etc, etc. I dont think I could ask for more. It is a bit pricey compared to other places but clearly it is significantly better than the 3 or 4 other indoor ranges Ive been to. So you will have to be the judge as to whether or not it will be worth the $$ for you. I will be going back at least 2 more times, once to take the wife (I think the environment will make her more comfortable than other ranges) and once to take the AR and Shotgun for a run!

SafeFire is one of the nicest ranges that I have visited. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly, and the facility is modern and clean. In fact, my girlfriend was first to go in and her comment to me was, They are so nice!. The store has a decent selection of firearms, ammo, and accessories. The range downstairs is bright and clean with the latest equipment, and the staff is first rate.I had an initial concern when they opened with their pricing scheme. It was, in my opinion, expensive for their hourly and membership rates. But shooting can be an expensive hobby anyway. They have since revised their pricing and member benefits. To me, the pricing to benefit ratio is excellent. They truly listen to their clients concerns and treat each one with respect and a friendly smile.

Took an intro to hand gun class for women today. It exceeded my expectations. Paul was encouraging, insightful, and funny. I feel much more comfortable with my gun. Im looking forward to spending more time on their range. The location is modern and very clean. Fantastic womens restroom.If you are a woman who wants to empower yourself in a non testosterone environment this is the place. The store on the top floor has good prices, knowledgeable staff and a good selection. I spend most of my time in the shooting range in the basement, which youd never know was there because of the state of the art sound proofing. All the range officers Ive met have been great and friendly, very professional. The targets are all electronically controlled from a tablet on the wall, distances from 5ft to 50ft in 1ft increments. Selection of guns to rent isnt the best but its getting better every day.

0 employees in this store were wearing masks on Saturday, October 3rd, at 1pm in the afternoon. So much so, that customers that had walked in before/after we had, felt comfortable enough to take their masks OFF. (This was at the store)Then, we walked down to the range to be met with, again, no employees wearing masks and more customers feeling okay also not wearing a mask. I get its a gun store, but this looks bad and careless. Not sure what the point is.

This is a fantastic place! The facility is clean and modern. I was expecting some old cabin decor with dear heads hanging on the wall. The staff are super friendly. Ive never shot a gun before. Took two private lessons from Paul. Hes a great instructor. Really patient with you. I learned a lot and feel much more comfortable with the sport now.

Went here last weekend for the first time and hands down the best place around to shoot indoors! Took my holster qualification (no class required but advised if you’re not competent or you’ll forfeit your money after failing qual) and it’s a good test to pass in order to draw from holster on the range.On the range, it’s clean and RSO’s are friendly and knowledgeable - ready to help if you need it. I didn’t get hammered for rapid firing because they saw that I was a competent shooter.Can bring your own ammo which many other ranges are greedy about buying their ammo only to shoot. Huge selection of pistols to try before you decide to buy somewhere or just to have fun with!! Will be coming back again and again!

Excellent customer service and great firearm knowledge. If you are unsure or curious about a firearm this is the place to go. You can try (pistols and 30-06 or under) before you buy @ 25 yards. Store dog ( well behaved yellow lab) that entertains kids while questions from experts answer your questions. Highly suggested for beginners or experts. Discount for military or law enforcement.

What a great facility, with extremely knowledgeable and patient range officer(s) and very friendly and nice staff in general.I went there to fire a new pistol I just bought. It had literally been decades since Id last fired anything, and I received excellent assistance from the range officer. Despite making a rookie mistake, for which I deserved to be admonished, he was very patient and I couldnt have asked for better assistance. He explained in a very easy way to understand what I needed to do to become more accurate and make it easier to fire properly. They allow you to bring your own ammo, and unlike the range at Delta Park, dont slap on a punitively expensive surcharge. All they require is purchase of their inexpensive targets. For anyone who wants to learn, or for whom it has been a long time since they fired, I very highly recommend it. If there is somewhat of a downside, it would merely be having to pay the range fee by the hour instead of daily. But all in all, it was an excellent experience at a stellar facility!

I took a lesson from Glenn and it was GREAT! Ive had a little experience with revolvers and less with semi-automatics. He got me up and going on a Glock in one hour. He taught me excellent fundamentals that translated into confidence and NAILING THE TARGET (OK, I wasnt that awesome but I was doing well :-) . Thanks!Also, this facility is the nicest I have ever been too: clean, modern, and just all around high-class.Finally, I did some shopping in the retail area. I was helped immediately, politely and with expertise. These folks are professional and didnt talk down to me in a condescending manner when it was obvious that I am a novice. I appreciated the friendly, helpful and respectful attitude.This place is the BEST!

My son and I visit the range regularly. The RSOs do a great job keeping everyone safe and are always ready to help. The entire facility, upper and lower floors, are well organized and clean. The retail area on the upper floor is well stocked with ammo, firearms and gear. There are sinks just outside the range doors for washing up after a session of shooting. Im really glad theyre open on Sundays now that the rainy season has started. Keep up the good work!

This is a great place. Bought a membership and go there to shoot 3-4 times a month, sometime more often. Even have purchased a firearm, ammo, and accessories there. Prices are reasonable and the staff is friendly and helpful. In my opinion it is one of best places too shoot that I have ever been too bar none.

Great range, clean with a friendly staff, but the prices... not sure what others mean about fair! $20 for the first person, $10 for the second, plus $15 per hour for the lane... I was surprised I was not charged extra to use the bathroom! I just do not understand the per hour charge on top of the per person charge... I also asked about a military discount and was not given it. Most likely will not go back unless they get rid of the additional per hour charge. I have been to many many ranges and that extra charge is just crazy! What is the per person charge for... breathing air...

This shooting range is a great place to shoot. They have done a very good job of building a state of the art range. I have been here twice now. Both times the staff have been very friendly and helpful. I only briefly visited the retail store, as I am only interested in practicing my shooting. When you get downstairs, there is a check in counter. The staff here will greet you with a smile and are really nice. The check-in counter is also where you can rent a firearm to use. The ranges are well lit and have good air flow to keep the smell of gunpowder to a minimum. They have a touch pad for the target mechanism. You can choose any distance to place the target. There is always a range officer or two that will talk to you about the rules and answer questions you may have. They allow you to have 2 guns out at a time in the lane. There is a bench at the back of the room to set your range bag on. They do make you buy their targets. If you have any targets left over, they will let you return them for a refund. One nice thing is that the range is open on Sundays. I highly recommend this range.

Just got back from safefire where I was going to buy some ar accessorys. I was looking for a charging handle and a handful of other smalls. Mr Beard dude (bigger if the two beards) working, just flat out ignored me so I went off to find them myself. Smaller beard dude came over and got me to them and the other stuff I was looking for, thanks. Had a question on a sling attachment and Mr Big Beard dude once again ignored me and helped a guy that was just coming through the door. Needless to say I put the stuff back and walked out. I will never go back . This is why people buy online, better prices and better service !

I was super excited when this indoor range was built because its close to home and convenient. The personnel that work here are extremely nice and helpful in the store. The range masters are helpful especially for new shooters. My only gripe is that the cashiers downstairs that check you in and out are really short and rude with customers. It was a bit deterring on my first visit but I just ignore it now. The target retrieval system is current technology and really nice to use. Overall, a great indoor range and is priced reasonably.

Im not going to say names so no one gets in troubleFirst no one mentioned anything about returning the AMO policy so we were stuck with an extra box for a rifle i wanted to switch it to something different,Second the staff could be more flexible and more friendly because this is a customer service job and i paid money to have fun, We tried to have a conversation but the staff at the front desk were un professional to even take a min to hear a customer without interrupting us .I liked the place but Im not going there anymore..

My husband and I heard about SafeFire through a friend and went on a Saturday morning to check it out, what a nice place, the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. We were not expecting to get a private tour of the entire facility and we did. The platinum room has a great atmosphere and the simulation room was not open so we came back at the open house, the simulation room was open and free to use, how fun, many situations to chose from, gota do that one again!. and we rented guns to shoot. I do recommend everyone try out SafeFire!Oh and ladies free use of lanes on Mondays!

Friendly staff, fair prices, *fantastic* short-distance range with decent rates. Wish the annual membership fees were more reasonable. No complaints otherwise. An in-house cafe or grill would be a great improvement.

Great place to shoot. Really love the electronic robotic target placer. They wont let you shoot steel metal jackets. And if you hit cardboard top of the target holder which is real easy to do they charge an extra $50.

Fully enjoyed ourselves! Me and a friend went for the ladys pricing on mondays after 4pm. Both of us havent shot pistols in years, we told them we were straight up newbies. Helpful people behind the counter and in the range. The range officers were super helpful and patient. All around great experience! Only thing is we got caught up in shooting it got spendy fast. 2hrs and 250rounds later...ouch

Stop by your business to look at guns but your employees don’t wear masks. I was disappointed as I am older, high risk and cannot take the chance on catching corona virus in you establishment.

I registered for a class only to find out the price had jumped from $50 to $89 (effective April) for the class. I am not familiar with the ongoing prices of gun classes, so I went ahead and signed up. After coming home, I checked the internet out and found classes much more reasonably priced at $50-$55. Of course, there is no refund, so stuck with this class for now, but I will be taking future classes elsewhere.

Best range in the area. Rates are reasonable. Selection is ample. Service is impeccable. My party and I were astonished.

Indoor range is clean, in excellent condition, and equipped with programmable target holders. Range Safety Officer we had was knowledgable, professional, and very nice to new shooters in the other lane. Sound deadening is excellent. Store is well-organized and staffed by nice people.

If you want to shoot rental guns, and see which type of guns you want to make the next purchase, this place is a good place for try out. The retail store are limited and overpriced, buying online would be more reasonable, but if you know what youre doing, and you have a specific parts in mind check this place out.

AWFUL for the first time junior shooter. There are 3 bays but no separation of high power rifles and hand guns. Even with full hearing protection, the concussive shock waves from an AR will scare off a first-time child shooter for life. Add to that a horror scenario, created by the range officer, of raining burning spent .22LR casings and the day was over quickly. Will never return with kids again. A real bummer. Thanks a bunch!

Great facilities, best indoor range i have been to. I also purchased a firearm, they have great prices and friendly staff. The transaction was convenient and quick.
