My husband and I went to metro mattress in canandaigua NY and not only did we get a great deal the perfect mattress to replace our mattress but we bought an additional mattress for our motorhome at an awesome price and our sale associate was not only nice he was funny and he wasn’t pushy and I like all those things in a sales person. We bought a mattress 10 years ago from metro mattress loved it just bought a mattress and I’m sure we will love it and I will be back in another 10 or so years when I need a new one!! I dont believe all these positive reviews are lagit because we had the same experience as the othe 1 star review. We were apprehensive because we saw no customers going here. After the long fitting pitch we thought prices were higher than we originaly thought. After we said we will think about it, he said, thats it, everyone who says that doesnt come back, then the other slesmean started with his pitch. NOBODY else even came in while we were there. I hate pressure tactics and will NOT be going here again.

Visited this location on the Saturday after Black Friday. The gentleman working greeted my boyfriend and I and asked what we were looking for. We both told him we were just looking and he responded no one comes in here to just look on Black Friday youre gonna buy something and Im a manager I dont make commission- I am salary. So we listened to his pitch and agreed to do a fitting. After about 10 minutes or so my boyfriend and I decide we need to discuss all this and tell the salesman we would be back. He immediately gets upset and says they will know if you came in the store and left without buying anything and Ill give you this one for 100 bucks! We immediately left the store. We really just wanted to browse the selection and maybe would have made a purchase but we wont be returning after that uncomfortable experience.

I worked with Mark at the Canandaigua, NY, store and had a successful experience. He recommended a mattress close to one I have and we arranged for delivery on the day I arrive in town. A smooth transaction.

I have been talking with Steve at Metro Mattress in Cdga for a couple of days and we had a good rapport. Knowledgeable, proud of the business heritage, and of course, told me how important it was to have a bed comfort test. (Not his exact words lol). We talked about a lot of types of beds. I knew what my mother wanted in a bed. I prefaced all this with Steves Manager Mark, before my mother arrived to see what Metro Mattress had to offer. Again, my mother was asked to let her body be the guide to what she needs. Well, we found one...mattress and box spring ordered, paid for, and scheduled for delivery. Sleep on it, it does a body good. Thanks Mark and Steve.

Long story short went to pick up a mattress and box springs at Raymour and Flanigan because they charge for delivery and only the box springs showed up. Didn’t care for the not my problem attitude so cancelled and went over to Metro mattress. Matt was very helpful and they are delivering for FREE on Monday!

I visited the store to get some information about mattresses and had the pleasure and opportunity to meet Justin. I informed Justine I wasnt ready to buy just wanted information. All my questions were answered and on my departure I thanked Justine for the information and the no pressure to sell me a mattress. After verifying all Justine had told me I returned the next day to ask a few more questions when I happened to meet Joe. Again no pressure to sell me a mattress so I went back on my third day and purchased the mattress I wanted.Thank you for treating me like I treated my customers when I was in sales. The two working, joe and Craig were very knowledgeable about the product they sell. We started with the idea to look then found a pillow we both loved and then a mattress, we ended up with the beauty rest black. Very comfortable. Only problem was your computer system crashed as we were ready to make our purchase. Had to wait 20 minutes for it to reboot. Then Craig forget to add a base for our bed and had to redo our purchase. Happy they will hold our purchase for out renovations to complete.

Great customer service on the part of the store. Kasey was informative and helpful. I cant say the same for the folks at the warehouse. Delivery is not accommodating (especially for when you make a large purchase such as a new mattress set) and were difficult to deal with. My experience at the store was great, so Im not going to hold it against the company, but I feel that delivery and warehouse service is a place where this company can improve.

The employee that assisted us, Craig, was extremely knowledgeable about the products, polite in how he presented our options, and honest about the features versus the cost of each item. Not once did I feel as though I was being upsold on anything, only presented the pros and cons as well as recommendations for me personally based on what I had expressed I wanted in my mattress. Free delivery and set up and 0% interest financing really bring this as close to an ideal purchase as youre ever going to get. If youre in need of a new mattress I cant imagine the experience gets any better than this store. Cant recommend it any higher.

Painless experience except for cost of having to replace mattress which was going to do anyway. Got added bonus of adjustable bed which always wanted and Tempur-Pedic which is beyond comfortable! Salesman was exceptional and delivered next day was icing on cake!

What a fantastic experience from start to finish. Craig was very knowledgeable, polite, funny and very helpful with my girlfriend and I on our journey of picking out the right bed. Told him how we both slept and then he took us from there and tried a couple of beds. Megan and I both liked the hybrid Tempur-Pedic because it was the softest one out of the brand, then he made us try the softest bed last and that was the one we liked the most. We laid in that bed for 10 minutes or so. I got back up and I went to the Tempur-Pedic hybrid and didn’t feel as good as the Beauty rest. What a fantastic experience.

They get you to buy the mattress cover in case you dont like mattress and need to exchange it. BUT if you dont like it you have to pay a fee (a few hundred dollars) to try a different one.
