My husband worked with Clarke on 3 separate occasions, once as a seller and twice as a buyer. In all 3 scenarios Clarke went above and beyond. His customer service is excellent and his communication throughout the process is timely and clear. He takes the guesswork out of it, makes sure the little details are taken care of, and most importantly he understands time is money. If you want to buy or sell a classic car with ease work with Clarke!

I purchased a classic car from Historic Motor Sports in August 2020, and Clarke & Bob were wonderful to work with. They made the entire transaction easy and even hooked me up with a fantastic car transporter. Their professionalism, knowledge, care and friendliness made it a great experience and I would gladly purchase from them again. Thank you!

Ive known Earl (chief mechanic) for some years as a VSCCA racer.Last year I brought him a rare Elva, and he did an excellent job with the work I requested. Earl is meticulous and careful, and he is his own worst critic. A nice bonus is that Earl and the team at HMS are all really nice people, and very easy to work with. Thats not always the case with top notch mechanics, but Earl is one youd invite over for dinner with the family or out for a beer with your friends.

Cant say enough good things about Clarke and the crew. I had them sell both my British cars. They were very helpful from the ppick up of my cars to making sure that all ofmy paper work was correct. Both my cars sold in a very short time. Even better they both went to homes where they will be appreciated.Great guys and a great place.Thank you.

Historic Motor Sports was recommended to me by members of my car club and I had seen their beautiful facility when they kindly hosted a Tech Session. So when my 1948 MG TC was desperate for work that was beyond my capability, I took it to them. Earl is an excellent mechanic and takes exceptional care to do a super high quality job. Some of the work was sent out to specific experts (for the shock absorbers, water pump and some machining). They know places that do excellent work and are not necessarily the famous and expensive ones. The main job was a full engine rebuild, but there were various other bits that needed work. Totally I spent a lot of money, but I felt that it was appropriately charged and I now have an antique that I can enjoy driving and have faith that it will get me home again. People at a large car gathering commented on how great my car sounds. The only down-side is that I no longer fog for mosquitoes in my neighborhood.

I recently sold both my 1954 Austin Healey 100 and my 1967 Jaguar E type Roadster through Historic Motor Sports. I appreciated the service that Clarke and the rest of the staff provided. In addition, their honesty and straightforward manner was a pleasure. I am very happy with both the process and the outcome that they provided.

First class service! Ive had both my MG engines redone at Historic, a complete rebuild of my 52 MG TD and an engine swap with the 69 MGB. Both cars run exceptionally well. I can attest that Clark, Earle & Steve will not release your car until it runs right. They handle anything from simple maintenance to complete restorations...at any time you can see everything from a 1920s Rolls Royce or 1932 MG J2 to a late 70s MGB or TR6 at the shop.Id be remiss if I didnt also mention the winter storage capability. Climate controlled and clean as a whistle, it is comforting to know your pride & joy is in a spotless, rodent free top notch facility. In short, Id recommend Historic Motorsports for any maintenance or storage needs you may have.
