Welcome to Eastern Market of Canton! I heard this song out with enthusiasm for each customer who came in. When I said that it was my first time and I really just wanted to look around, the friendly woman who greeted me told me all about the specials that were available if I wanted to buy 10 lb of chicken or other large orders.I ended up getting some ground round and had a couple conversation with the friendly man who was working about how much I really needed. I also asked him for ground pork and he had some frozen in 1 lb bundles in the back so I got one of those. I also saw a brand of tortilla chips I had never tried before which looked amazing.They invited me to come back and I think I will. I dont live too nearby but I will stop by when I can.

I wish i found this market years ago! I have been in a few times now - every time I get greeted at the door, they remember my name and are ready to help. They have an AMAZING selection of extremely high quality meat at great prices. They will cut whatever you want while you wait. The quality is second to none! The deli is as good as the produce and the meats! I urge everyone in Canton and surrounding area to go shop at Eastern Market of Canton!

I have been shopping here for the last 8 years owner is a very personable guy. The selection is awesome 👏🏾 . And I love being purchase the largest lobster 🦞 ever for $49.99. I just can’t it as large as they have. My wife was thoroughly satisfied. And he can specialty meats like goat lamb etc.just ask he can supply it.

The service is outstanding and the meats are delicious. If you dont see something you need just ask and they will do whatever they can to accommodate you. I am very sad today, we have been going here for at least the last year. The quality of their product is awesome.I understand in business, the cost of products raise, however, 2-3 weeks ago, we purchased a beef bundle for 149.99. Up 20.00. Understood, but now 3wks later, they raise the price again another 30.00. So now they want 50.00 a bundle then when we started out at 129.99 to 149.99 now 179.99. I am very disappointed, because I truly liked the people and the owner and we really liked the beef, however, I cannot continue to purchase from them now, because the price is too high and I cant afford to spend that much more. So now I will need to find somewhere else to purchase my beef.Very disappointed.

Theyre greeting, upon walking in, was very warm. No matter where they are in the store, they stopped to say hello for anyone who enters. The store was clean, neat, and well stocked. There was plenty of parking, and the customer service was pleasant. The only reason that I considered giving 4 stars was that the lamb shanks that I went in for where Frozen. But thats not a real issue. Their meats looked wonderful, as they carry all choice grade meat. I will certainly visit them again. Their hours of operation 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. everyday. That makes it quite convenient. Good job. Good experience.

We didnt discover Eastern Market until the 2020 pandemic. In fact Ive never been in the store, I havent needed too! The beef bundle is what we started with as it was hard to find (but not here). As the months peel away we find our selves depending on Eastern for their quick curb side service and reliable high quality beef. Weve started ordering extra ground round and kelbasa. I dont see it stopping even when this pandemic ends. Weve had an opportunity to revert back to meat from Krogers but it didnt come close to Eastern quality.At this point were locked in and the prices have recovered making the bundle more affordable.

Love this local Meat Market. They always greet you when you walk through the door and make sure you know you are appreciated. THEY KNOW THIER MEAT! Need your steak seasoned so all you ha e to do is throw it on the grill when you get home? Done! They will even give you advice on how to cook it. I just picked up my annual Corned Beef that is ready to cook straight from the package. You will be happy you went.

This is the place aka the SPOT! I was in search of Turkey Necks: not smoked, but fresh turkey necks! I had been to at least 6 stores in the area: nothing..nothing! I was very surprised. I googled meat stores saw this one.. I called she advised they had turnkey necks. I made sure not smoked, she confirmed. I headed that way and was NOT disappointed! Very friendly person.. so if u are looking for a meat that is hard to find in the area> go here. .they got U! all types of seasonings, etc.... Whew! now I know....

The market was dirty and overpriced. If you suffer from claustrophobia dont even attempt to approach. I wonder if they meet the requirements as far as temperatures for the meat that are behind the counter. Also they had the seafood mix with the frog legs in the same case which grossed me out because I dont eat frog legs.

Would be nice if the staff wore masks all the time. Most of the staff wore them, but the person who helped me was not.

This is *the source* for *the best* meat I have found in Michigan. I live 50 miles away and make several trips a month to go see Marv (the owner) and restock my protein stores. Youre always welcomed as you walk through the door and Marv is always there to make sure youre taken care of. Dont see what you want? Tell Marv what youre looking for and if it is in his power, hell do it then and there. That includes grinding any meat or getting you a special cut of steak. BTW, Marvs beef is grass fed and his hamburgers are the best I have ever tasted. Go to Eastern Market, you will not be disappointed!

Great experience been having trouble looking for a descent meat market close to home instead of traveling to Detroit for my meat very great atmosphere and very helpful and makes you feel at home the moment you walk in.

If you havent been here yet, go in and ask for Marvin. He will make sure you are taken care of. All of the staff does amazing and they all take pride in their job especially customer service. They take the time to get to know you and your family. If you need something that is not in the store, Marvin will find a way to get it for you. The prices are better then the big chain places and the quality cannot be found anywhere else. His chickens are always good. We buy ribs at least once a week. Cold salads are always fresh and a huge hit. I buy all my lunch meet here and it lasts long, tastes good, and doesnt cost too much. You can also pick up a sandwich or salad already made. They offer platters for parties as well. They fresh produce and lots of dry goods. Their seafood is frozen but thats common in large grocery stores too. Ive tried almost everything he sells and its always good. They have premade kabobs, seafood kabobs, burgers and more. Stop in and you will be glad you did!

My wife and I have been buying our meat bundles from Eastern Market of Canton for several years. Not only are their bundle prices very reasonable, they work with you if their is something in the bundle you want to switch out for something else. Meats are top quality in every category. While there you cant over look the sides, very tasty! We cant eat Super Market meats any more. Great staff and super owner!

It is very unusual to walk in any store nowadays and be greeted with so much hospitality. This location sets the bar extremely high for its competitors. As if the hospitality wasnt enough, the wide variety of choices was great. Not to mention the quality of meat at such a reasonable price. This will indefinitely be my go to meat market.

Best experience ever! The guys were genuinely friendly and so helpful. Great selection! I went in needing steak for philly cheese steaks and I left with the best steak (sliced and seasoned) HANDS DOWN and a smile on my face! It was a little pricey but SOOOOOO worth it. Fist and only visit today. The guys behind the counter are nice and helpful, but the price I paid for Untrimmed Beef Brisket was outrageous. $5.99 a pound, while Knights Meat Market in Ann Arbor is $3.49 a pound. Costco has it for $2.69 a pound. When buying a brisket, which weighs 10-15lbs, thats results in a huge price difference. I decided to not stop by Knights today because of traffic. Big mistake.Store is clean, lots of beef, pork and chicken to chose from. Very little seafood. I will not be shopping here again.
