I recently coordinated a wedding where Almost Heaven served ice cream for dessert. They did such a fantastic job - not only was the ice cream SO GOOD, but their ice cream cart was beautiful, they served guests quickly and with friendliness, and were very responsive in communicating about logistics leading up to the wedding weekend. Id recommend working with them to anyone wanting to add something fun and delicious to their event, and I hope I get to do so again soon!

Love going here. Just wish they would offer the Brutus Blast and Sundaes with their dairy free vanilla. Desperate for a turtle sundae dairy free.

Love the ice cream however the employees all seem to be running around doing nothing. Not efficient at all!!! Maybe need more training? A couple months ago there was a girl out front who really seemed to know how to get thru the lines quickly.. maybe she went to college but you need her back

Best Ice Cream Around! All homemade and that includes the waffle cones. Seasonal flavors keep things interesting. However, coconut cream pie is my go to when ordering from the always available flavors.

Its never to cold for Ice Cream! The people working were very kind, The Ice cream is delicious & so were All the toppings :) will definitely be back again. Also the caramel & pecans in the turtle sundae were Absolutely the best Ive ever had in a turtle sundae!

Ice cream is out of this world.. Heavenly, unfortunately, the service is slow and aggravating. Going through the drive thru should not take this long. I have seen people walk up, order, and get their ice cream at 3 or 4 at a time while one vehicle waits. Not enough employees to meet demand.

When I visit an ice cream parlor I expect the product to be at least as good as anything that I could make. If they cant do any better than I can do messing around with an ice cream machine and some basic recipes then they get three stars max. Thats actually still pretty good because I have an extremely high standard in making my own ice cream and handing out stars. Having said that, I feel like the flavorings could be more... Flavorful.

This place was non stop busy after 9pm, but the employees were friendly and smiling while they served up delicious treats. The only complaint was that there were only two small trash cans that were overflowing.

Heaven to my tastebuds!! Staff is always friendly and nice. Many different ice cream flavors that do not disappoint, cookie sandwiches are also good and the homemade waffle cones are a must!

Recently, I came into Almost Heaven, and gave it a 5 star review. However, due recent experiences, that review has changed to a 1 star. Whenever I asked for a specific flavor, the workers started laughing at me and were being extremely rude to me. I remember specifically that this one girl who laughed at me and was rude to me had a cactus pin on her hat. There was also no mask worn until I came which possibly allows covid to be spread easily throughout the ice cream and the store. The ice cream is not up to the expectations that I had. I ordered a cookie dough blast and there was barely any cookie dough in it. Very disappointed

This place deserves 5 stars for just serving dairy-free ice cream, and soft serve at that! I tried the vanilla and my husband tried the fudge pop. Both were delicious!!! We got the regular size and the portions seemed pretty big to me which I was pleasantly surprised by. They had a good variety for the regular menu items as well as a nice variety of options for the dairy-free ice cream. We will definitely be going back!

We are NEVER disappointed! Great icecream with a nice number of uncommon combinations that you cant find elsewhere. One warning, theyre so popular there tends to be quite the line. BUT it well worth the wait.

A very unique, top of the line ice cream spot! They have so many unique flavors to choose from that you dont see just anywhere else. A little pricey and lines can get long, but to me its totally worth it for the quality and selection you get.

Posting for my husband who came home VERY irritated and promising that there would be no future visits to Almost Heaven!There were a few issues with this trip;1). He waited 28 minutes at the drive thru line behind only one other vehicle2). He placed his order and mine (I wanted chocolate soft serve) and paid.3). Suddenly their chocolate soft serve machine was broken, so he ordered me one scoop of hard chocolate4). He had to pay an extra dollar for the ice cream that I didnt ask for5). They handed him 4 ice cream dishes without lids, when he asked for lids he was told, We dont have any6). He then had to wait another 6 minutes for a side of butterscotch sauceSeems like youre understaffed, undersupplied and need a maintenance man to fix your equipment...

Kraut dogs are good here. Easy to just drive up and grab a pair for the car or sit and hang. The mac and cheese bites here are pretty awesome too. Oh yeah, the ice cream in and a wafflecone is fantastic.

Another great addition to the downtown Middlebranch Plain Township scene which has become a destination for friend and family to meet up at and enjoy food and ice cream on the very pleasant outdoor patio with an Ohio State University theme decor. I love their homemade drumstick cones which come packaged in cellophane to eat at the store or take home. I usually take the drumsticks home and eat other treats at the store. They offer a loyalty card which we keep in the car so if the impulse arises, our points build up on our card to be redeemed for later visits. We have used both the drive up window and the pedestrian service window where friendly staff takes care of the customers.

The Chocolate Explosion ice cream is God’s gift to ice cream. I’m still trying to determine all of the chocolate pieces and parts that make up this delectable treat. The staff is incredibly helpful and they even make a rockin sundae for your favorite pup. I’ve tried many flavors here and appreciate them all. It’s definitely worth a stop!

Experience was excellent, and portions were huge, so five stars for that. This is home-made ice cream and family-operated, so as others have noted, it is priced accordingly. If you like very sweet ice cream and lots of mix-ins, you will like it here. I was glad to support a family-owned local business, but I rated it three stars, because in my opinion, I found it too sweet and their flavorings tasted somewhat artificial--the vanilla was more like a marshmallow flavor, and the caramel was very one-dimensional. I would say the ice cream flavors were comparable to Country Maid in Richfield, but the mouthfeel and texture was more rich--it tastes like it has a higher butterfat. I prefer a rich and intense dairy-forward style more like Jenis and Mitchells, a custard-style like Pavs or an Italian-style Gelato. If you prefer more pure dairy flavor thats less-sweet or custard-style ice cream such as Pavs, you may want to stick with those. However, if you want to fill up with a big waffle cone and like really sweet ice cream, give it a go and support local business!

I cant say enough good things about this place! The ice cream is head and shoulders above the others. The kids who work there are pleasant and honest because the owners are very ethical and want the employees to be the same. Every aspect of Almost Heaven is remarkable. Its even more than the sum of its parts. Go there and enjoy!

Soooo flipping good! We are out of state and our cousins brought us a few flavors to try. The day we were out.... yesterday.... complete disappointment took over.... I don’t want to go to the grocery store- because, there has been nothing like it before!You guys have something very special!!! The taste is amazing! I can’t wait to try more in the future!

I was at the canton location today. After being rushed by the very unfriendly cashier they told us their freezer was acting weird and the ice cream would be soft. They handed us ice cream that was basically soup. We took it home and threw it away. I would not recommend.

They use artificial colors in some of their ice cream. Their mint chocolate chip is white which is awesome. Employees are decent.
