I completely trusted this company as it’s advertised as family owned. My family also has a business and to be a “family owned” business to me means that you care about your customers and their families and you provide good or services as promised.Our property is on a hill. In March 2021 I called Lighthouse and spoke to a very nice lady who insured me that a pool could be installed on our property, we just may have to pay more for excavating. Paid for cash for our pool, very easy process. Double checked again with Lighthouse early in June, to see if we needed to have anything done to our property before pool install. We were told no, installers will not like to work off of anyone else’s work. Which we understood. So we waited months for our turn of install. We saved our money for excavating. We paid needed permits, road bonds, and spent our time having needed inspections. Time and money. Pool installers came and said they cannot install a pool, they are not excavators, only here to put the pool together. They also mentioned they do not like to do business with Lighthouse. News to us. Which leaves us tens of thousands of dollars into this pool with nothing to show. We did everything asked of us.We now have an entire above ground pool sitting in boxes, taking up a chunk of space in our yard. The boxes are now starting to break down [after 5 months]. And that’s what we have to show for choosing lighthouse pools, a family owned company, to purchase a pool.I’ve been told by neighbors that have similar yards as us that Great Escape takes great care of customers. Try them first.
There is nothing like spending time with friends and family at the pool on a hot summer day. Wait…….That’s right, I went to Litehouse and purchased a pool back in February. It was delivered two weeks later after ordering it. On a pallet, it is now August 22nd and the pool is still sitting in boxes and breaking down. I have contacted management several times to get the pool installed. Two pool installers have came and left because they said our property is far too steep to install. I’ve spoke with management and Litehouse places the blame on my family, saying that we did not follow the instructions of proper pool install. Long story short, Litehouse has done nothing to resolve our issue of still not having a pool. Management asked me what exactly I want to solve this problem. I said, I would like a pool installed! Needless to say, my family and I found out the hard way that buying a pool from Litehouse was a mistake. Consider buying from anyone else, do not purchase a pool from Litehouse!
Bought a very expensive pool vaccumn at lighthouse pools & spas, a year ago . Took it back for repair or replacement under warranty . Tried to give us a refurbished model with bare wire showing. It has been over four weeks we have been waiting for our pool vacuum. When we call to check on it we’re given the runaround and they’re not very nice! We will never buy anything from the store again and I suggest before you do you have a look around at the other or reliable pole stores
They care about the sale but be prepared to be on your own after that.
I purchased a very expensive pool table at a reduced price. The salesman, Mike, told me that I could have this price conditioned on a no return policy. This was fine with me, as I had no intention of returning a pool table. Delivery was perfect. My adult children played on the table only one night. We saw that the finish had bubbled and rubbed off. I contacted the salesman and he told me I had bought a scratch and dent, and there is no warranty. At no time was I told that this product is a scratch and dent, nor is it stated anywhere in my paperwork. I would never have purchased this table as such. Additionally, I could have purchased this table online for the same amount, but I chose to go local. This is a very poor business decision to not stand behind their product - I had planned on purchasing a hot tub and shuffleboard table from Litehouse, as well. Obviously, their decision to not rectify a minor problem has taken that opportunity off the table for them .
Our salesman Derek was great! No gimmicks, honesty and built a pool package with our desires and needs! I highly recommend! They are BBB affiliated! I
I Stopped there to check a sample of my spa water.The man that waited on me was very pleasant and friendly. He tested my water sample and got a print out sheet, my sample water needed,two corrections. I purchased some non chlorine shock, the other ph down I had some at home. I made the necessary corrections at home. Now my water is perfectly balanced making the spa safe to use. I am satisfied wiith the service. Would highly reccomend Litehouse Pools to anyone that has a problem with their spa or pool water. Safe water is a Must for any pool or spa.They can help you correct it. 5stars to them.

I just cannot afford to gamble on doing business with litehouse.I shopped the Canton store this evening, had a great sales rep and I found the perfect hot tub that I planned to purchase tomorrow. I was excited.Unfortunately, after seeing how many poor reviews have been logged and the 50 BBB issues that have been filed in the last year, I absolutely cannot trust purchasing the hot tub from litehouse. I’m still set on the specific round hot tub, so I’ll call the manufacturer in the morning to find an alternative dealer.There have been just too many negative experiences that people before me have endured.
I recently bought a hot tub and massage chair and I couldn’t be happier with my purchases. The hot tub is great for relaxing in after a long day of work and the massage chair makes me feel like a new man everyday. Big shout out to Ben for taking the time to fully explain every detail in depth.

Horrible, Horrible,HORRIBLE! We bought a Christmas tree less than a year ago with a year warranty on it. This year we went to set it up and it won’t light. They say it will take approximately two weeks to see what the problem is and by then it will be out of warranty! How convenient. Go buy your tree at Menards, they are cheaper, easier to exchange, and just as pretty. The salesman was so quick to sell the tree but not so quick to back the warranty.
Mike and Garrett were extremely helpful with our search for a medically necessary pool for my adult son with severe lymphedema of his legs. Mike was very understanding and both went above and beyond to meet our needs quickly and professionally. Mike is a real asset to Litehouse pools! It was a pleasure doing business with this stores employees and we will be sure to return - and refer others - for future pool needs! He was professional and laid back, he didnt try to push any additional purchase on us, he informed us and gave us space to decide on our own. We were very happy with our experience and will definitely be recommending and returning for future purchases!

Just stopped in to lighthouse to get some information about the hot tubs that they sold and get pricing. We walked in and no one greatest us till I went up to the counter and I asked for pricing on the tubs. I would not have had to do this if there were pricing displayed on each tub but only monthly payments were displayed. When the guy finally came over we asked for pricing and he said no problem. Well we then told him we were a few months away from making a purchase and we wanted to know the pricing of this tub and his response was it doesnt matter because the pricing in a few months will be 20 percent more and we said ok but what is todays price and he would not give it to us. He was very rude and had no clue what he was doing. Will not return to buy our hot tub from this place.

Terrible customer service. We went to Lite House to look at a hot tub. The first time when we asked questions, the salesperson seemed like he was making it up as he went along. We had a tub before so what he was saying wasnt true. We went back a few days later and talked to Mike. He answered our questions. We went back the next day to buy. We asked for Mike. The guy at the counter went to get him. Then, Grub Hub showed up with an order for Mike. They said he was on the phone but I know he was eating his order. We waited 20 minutes then left because Mike never came out. We went to Job Rite and bought a tub nicer than the one we we going to buy at Lite house.
I signed a contract to have a new liner that was emailed to me. I have called several times to get this scheduled but I’m always told Ed will call you back. The last time I spoke with the assistant manger that said he would look into it and get back to me. That was a week ago. We now have an appointment to purchase a new pool and it will not be with Lighthouse as they have lost our business.
Horrible horrible horrible experience! If I could leave no stars I would! We went in and purchased our pool on May 18 2020. The pool we had originally wanted was sold out, so the salesman talked us into an upgrade, they were expecting a shipment later in the week. Well we didnt receive the pool until July 17 and they told us that we would receive a call for installation within 3 days. Nobody ever called I have called the store, left emails, FB messenger, every way I could think of to get a hold of someone. Finally someone answered on fB and told me we were tentatively scheduled for this week, today is July 29. We also called the store last night and talked to Garret that said they were going to be installing today! They just called to schedule for next week. I WISH WE WOULD HAVE GONE TO GREAT ESCAPE!
9/15/2021 - Panel installed and working. Cover bracket snapped it half. Good stuff lolJuly update - no word on panel or service date. Dead in the water. DO NOT BUY FROM LITEHOUSE JUNK AND POOR SERVICEUpdate June 2021. What do you know…. Something broke again. This time main touch panel. Looks like moisture now has got inside the lights and the screen. Must have forgot to waterproof the hot tub. Oh and the rope lights that fell off were glued back on with zero concern for aesthetics. Just hit year one of this tub. I can imagine how well this thing will hold up going forward!update Feb. 2021. Add lights to the list as main one is out and I’m told light only has a 6mo warranty. Tub is only 8 months old.Do NOT buy a Artesian tub and if you get a lemon don’t expect Litehouse to hold their manufacturers accountable. Zero Stars!-update light had water in it. Obviously not sealed properly. Water feature rope light fell off so they put glue everywhere. Looks awful but hey it stuck.Nice People but So far so BAD. Bought and Artesian Elite Piper Glen Spa. After being sold a 2019, then told a 2020 was all they had I paid more. Only to receive a 2019. List of issues with tub to date (Delivered only 3 MOTNHS AGO)Needed fixed or replaced-Knob-Pump-Touch Panel- LIghts-Speakers-Cover/Panels - Current as tech damaged-Heater - Current-Filtation system - poor and under reviewThe only thing that as worked has been the top cover and plastic stairs!I have asked Litehouse to replace this tub. Hopefully they will do the right thing and I can give them a better rating. As a pool and spa owner for a long time, I CURRENTLY would not buy anything from them again
Received a quote on Monday drove 40 minutes on Thursday to purchase pool, price increases by $900. Was told they were sorry they quoted wrong pool. Lucky for me Great Escape was only a couple miles away and they beat Lighthouse original price.
Bought my Christmas tree here an it was great, looks better then I ever thought . Was well worth the price. All there lights and trees well priced an long lasting. Seen displays of spas that were beautiful. Place is clean an everyone nice and polite. Lots of parking and is W/C ready.
I’ve never had such a wonderful experience at a store! I wasn’t really sure what to look for but kaitlyn came over and answered all my questioned and helped guide me into everything I needed!! I highly recommend anyone needing assistance to ask specifically for her ! Will be a customer for life !
Bought one of their 10’ Christmas trees. Decided to spend the money for quality. Was wrong there. First tree was missing the stand. Next day picked up another. Then the bottom and top lights didn’t work. Drove an hour and half to get another from same store because it would take them 3 days to get it to me. Got home and the new trees middle lights don’t work. *#+%! Sales team are “shocked”! Forget getting what u pay for. The 15yr warranty they sold us on depreciates to cover only 50% after year 4 and a measly only 10% after year 8. “Santa’s Own Trees” are NOT worth the ridiculous amount of money they state they are. Going to Home Depot tomorrow after I return this POS.
I sent in my husband and my kids because were shopping for things for our pool. Others were being acknowledged and NO ONE acknowledged my husband. Yall just lost a really big sale.
If I could give less I would. Im so very upset an not satisfied at all. I bought my pool may 10th. They delivered it on June 12th. When I bought the pool I was told middle of June for install. No big deal because it would be done before the 4th. I was promised this. After delivering i was told 3 days I would get a call about install. I waited a week. Could not get in touch with anyone there, voicemail and answering machine was full. Called the Akron office and he just wanted to get me off the phone. Ed was super nice, and very polite but I feel like Ive been lied to. Now no pool till after July 6
My wife came in and explained to the sales rep that she had recently purchased a 1,500 gallon pool and she wanted to treat the water appropriately. He told her that she needed their “Pool Shock”. 4 gallons of it actually. He instructed her to pour a gallon in the first day. And then a half gallon every week. Well when we get home we pour the shock in as we were told but then realized it states on the back of the bottle to pour a half gallon of shock for every 10,000 gallons! My pool is 1,500 gallons. Just to be sure, i bought my own water test kit, and turns out my chlorine level is at least at 10ppm. The recommended level is 1-3. I could have made one of these bottles last all summer. These people take advantage of their customers, most of which know nothing about what theyre buying. My wife spent $100 here and she could have spent a fraction of this. My advice, use amazon and google and buy your own test strips.

We are more then disappointed with this company. I purchased the pool with Cash, it took a month to deliver. Was sent the wrong ladder, lied to about the process, no installer callede and I had to call over and over. Finally get to my installation date and noone showed !!!!!!!!!! They said it was actually for the 17th???????? Since when. Never again. I refuse it what am I supposed to do with a pool in my living room I dont have a garage this needs handled
Horrible. I purchased a hot tub July 25th, it is still not delivered. I was called by mistake regarding the delivery of my tub however, the wrong name was on the wrong tub. I was than told that my hot tub was in the warehouse I should be getting a delivery call anytime now. Well, here I am, 2 weeks later. Nothing...I call and talk to, who I find out is the mgr Calvin. Instead of being apologetic was argumentative. He says on this phone call, it looks like your hot tub should be in the next delivery to the warehouse NEXT week. What? I was just told two weeks ago it was already at the warehouse. His response? Well, we dont have anything to do with the deliveries. This is NOT what a customer wants to hear. He than states, well, your order is one of the oldest so it SHOULD be at the warehouse the end of NEXT week.Horrible. Never again...I will be spreading the negative experience

My first and last purchase from Litehouse! Bought our pool on May 10. During the sale we were misquoted a price by a lot. We were understanding. My husband asked for a minor upgrade in return, nothing close to the added cost and they agreed. We, including 3 of our 5 kids were with us, asked multiple times on a time line. Was told the pool would be delivered within 2 weeks, then installed around 2 weeks later. We were told our pool was one of the few they still had in stock so that would help our install etc. The salesman said to give them a week to call to give a delivery date instead of the 2-3 days it says on the contract. Fine no big deal. The lady called me on the 5th day, May 15th. (Very rude I might add) The delivery date was June 12th! A month from our purchase, not 2 weeks. Mind you I was told we don’t get added to an install schedule till pool is delivered. We finally got an install date this past Friday, June 26th. The install date is JULY 27th! I later found another customer who purchased on the same exact date & was delivered the same day as ours yet her delivery is the week of July 6th. The store told me that was because our pool is oval & they only have a few crews that install ovals. Again none of this was told during the sale. We got the largest oval pool that had. I would have thought/hoped they would have bed. Upfront about details. It’s been a mess. Obviously our date will be pushed out more because others will get moved along the way because of rain. I surely feel like the store cares about the sale then just passes you off. Oh and we bought a heater. Wasn’t delivered with everything else so I mentioned that when I called and they said oh yeah it’s on backorder and we don’t know when it will be available. They offered to refund the install fee if I can find someone else to do the install, which is impossible, or if we do it ourselves, also not happening. I’m not impressed!
HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE STAY AWAY!!!!! I purchased a pool from Litehouse pool in Canton on April 19th. I was put on the “schedule” to have the pool installed on May 29th, without notice that date was cancelled and “rescheduled” for June 29th. Today I called to confirm my installation for June 29th.....I was told that I was “rescheduled” again for JULY 6th!! The pool has been sitting in my driveway blocking my garage since April 23rd. I have spoken to several people at lite house, NO ONE will help me. Litehouse has NO PROBLEM taking the money for the pool but have a HUGE PROBLEM FOLLOWING THROUGH ON THEIR END OF THE CONTRACT!!! STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!
So my husband and I went and looked at pools the last week of April. Our purchase was made May 2nd. Although the salesman was very nice and informative he was extremely misleading at the same time. I was told they’d contact me and let me know when the pool would be installed and when I received that call they made it sound like it’s all be done on May 28th. So we all waited patiently for the 3 weeks to pass by. (I have 4 kids and just dropped 5k! So ya we’re all excited) A few days prior I called just to confirm some things and the girl that I spoke with was very condescending (acted like I should just already know and why would I ask such questions regarding an installation) as she then informed me that no they don’t install the pool. They’re just delivering it! (What??!) nobody mentioned a word about that! It’s like they just expected me to know how the process works, like I’ll buy so many pools in my lifetime I should know the process!! Ummm no, this is my first pool purchase! So as you can imagine I’m aggravated to say the very least. Then LiteHouse employee I spoke with when I had to drive to the store because I can’t get through on the phone to speak with anyone, nor leave a voicemail because their mailbox is full, he told me it’d be two weeks before I’d even hear from the installers!!! Again. WHAAAATTT??!! At this point it’s June when I stopped in there. Annoyed again I decide to call a few says later and could actually leave a voicemail and a guy called me back and told me that I can contact the installer and they know all about the situation and they’re moving me up the list and bla bla bla. So I contacted them and waited a few days and the lady called me from the installation company. Surprise surprise, they never gave her any of my information and she knew nothing about the situation!!! She then informs me that it’ll more than likely be the middle of July before they can do the install!! So now I’ve got three birthday parties that I’ve had to cancel and everyone’s completely let down because these people couldn’t be straight up and tell me the truth about the fact that their “regular installer flaked on them” this season!!! Found that out at the very end of this mess!! All they gave a damn about was the sale. If anyone out there is buying anything from them, just know at this point, you won’t be able to enjoy your purchase this summer. At this rate you’ll be installed come fall time! I should’ve went somewhere else. Would’ve been worth it to pay a little bit more and actually get to enjoy my summer in my pool!!
So my parents bought a pool from here and when they bought it they were told the pool would be installed two weeks later yesterday it was installed....roughly six weeks later. Seems like this company can’t deliver on what they tell their customers and when told that they might change their minds on the pool. Litehouse told them well then you’ll lose your $500 deposit. No compensation at all just excuses. Piss poor customer service and work ethic.
We bought are pool May 2. We were told it would be installed by June 1st. Well its June 21st and the pool is still in boxes. Those workers will be nice and have great customer service while in your face,but its a whole different story when you leave. They hate answering there phone there(probably because they no its a customer wanting to complain about staring at there pool in boxes). We have been told 3 different reasons on why our pool is not installed. First one was that it was to cold in May to install .... hmmm it wasnt cold where I live in Stark County, second person said theres been to much rain... hmmm it hasnt rained that much where I live. Then we talk to someone from corp and we were told the installations were runnings slow because of covid. Those workers will straight lie to you, and tell you what you want to hear. The worst thing is we understand that covid is turning the world upside down and would have understood the delay,but when you lie to someome and tell them there pool will be in by a certain date when you no it wont be is ridiculous. We unfortunately already sent someone else there to buy a pool before all of this happened will never make that mistake again. I will tell everyone I know to NEVER shop there. To anyone about to buy a pool from there no that it will be 10 weeks before it gets installed. They will lie to you and tell you a month and its no where near that. We are having a blast looking at all of the pool boxes though.
I am employed at this location and I have been here for almost 2 years. Everyone I work with is very knowledgeable and super helpful with everyone who walks through the door. I am only a sales associate but I have learned so much from all of them. They care about their customers and they are all around good people!!! Will only stop working here once I graduate college! My dad and all of my family shops here would highly recommend!

Bought a hot tub. From them went back to have the water tested to by chemicals. Dont knoe his name but guys with red hair was so rude like he didnt want to be bothered.. Bad service. Thats ok I now go up the road to Jobrite pools for all my needs and that is where refer people to

Best place ever. The staff is amazing and always willing to help you out on anything you need. April and Katlyn are always willing to go above and beyond. This is my second year with my pool and when I went to get my chemicals and solar panels this year they ordered me everything at once to make sure it was all in and good to go. Thank you all so much and the only time I should need to return this summer is for water samples to make sure things are going right.

The staff were great during the sales process. After however not so much. I purchased my pool and it was delivered within a week, then it took over 3 weeks for us to finally get it installed. Immediately after installation the installers offer to back fill in around the pool so nothing would wash away. Mind you I had already paid them $600 to install the Pool and back fill would cost another $450. I paid figuring it would be better to have them do it right away. Within a week of the install all the dirt I paid $450 to have placed washed out and my pool pump and filter fell over. I contacted the installers and they never returned my call, I went to Lighthouse and they told me they would take care of it. I have never heard from them again and now no one answers my calls. Very unhappy with the final result, pool is great but service is not the best. Wish someone would reach out from Lighthouse to get my pump fixed at least, and it is to heavy for me to move.
The sales rep was extremely friendly with helping me purchase the correct chemicals needed for our new hot tub. She even offered assistance with free water analysis. Anytime we need one just stop in she said.So if that statement is true why did a gentleman turn my teenage son away when he stopped in for a water analysis just because the hot tub was not purchased by my family at that store.We had no problems at all going to a local competitor. They checked our water gave him a printout and even sent a email thanking me for coming in.And then there is your service department. They had over a 2 week waiting period just to help us get our hot tub serviced and running. We contacted another pool and spa companys service center and they were extremely easy to deal with and was out to our house 3 days later (it was $20 less for the initial service call and $20 less per hour they were at our residence).Dont worry litehouse there are definitely other companies locally that are willing to help clients.I will not be back to your company.

Customer service was very helpful. With someone who purchased a tree after Christmas for sale process. They have nice quality items. They made an error when checking out, and let it go since it was to the customers advantage. Nice! Would go there again.
We purchased a Rheem pool heater from them several years ago. It recently stopped working so we called them for service. We are perfectly willing to pay for this, but we were told that they will not come because it is too far. (40 minutes via interstate) They certainly should have told us before we purchased it. Meanwhile, we are without a heater.

Bought what they called a “heavy duty” pool cover only to have all the bubbles fall off in my pool after only 1 year. Called to ask if it was under warranty. He said no then just hung up on me. Won’t buy anything else from this store. They are obvisiously selling low grade products and passing them off as high grade and their customer service definitely needs some work.

Terrible service nothing but lies cant swim in our pool . They play the blame game no one takes responsibility for anything. Sorry I ever walked in this store . When our pool was delivered a part was missing on Saturday pool was installed . We were promised by the installers they would get the part they needed and finish the job....well just another lie. The part was delivered but it was the wrong part they said they would pick up the part & come and fix this pool . Noone came noone called Im fed up the have our money I have a mess of a pool that we cannot fill. Cant back fill dirt. The salesman even told us it would be done today nothing done. My next call will be to the BBB.

Walked into Litehouse on Whipple Ave. In Canton today with a broken inlet connection. The on/off plunger valve with strainer for easy set up, steel frame, ultra pools. After putting a small glass bowl onto the side of the pool to not loose any more water . No time to order, and wait for parts to ship. Thought Litehouse, only to find out that they do not carry parts for those types of pools. But, Danny Thomas helped us find all the fittings and parts we needed to fix our problem! Excited to get home to get them on the pool quickly. It worked! No more air leaks either! Thank you so much for your time and effort to get my pool fixed!
Cash purchase of a 27 ft. round above ground. On 5/2/19, we went to another pool supplier and even put a down payment on their pool pkg., but when we went to compare we felt that we would be buying a comparable or better pool and the atmosphere at Lite House was more inviting and professional. We spent app. $600.00 more. The pool was delivered as described to us on 5/11/19. This took up half the space in our 2 car garage. The rain this year was definitely an integer. The people who sub-contract the actual install, Absolute Pools, were very friendly and helpful at the beginning. Our pool, was finally installed 08/05/19. That much time was the variant to us using our garage. Schedule a day, rain, schedule a day again, more rain. This could not be helped, but there was an incident where an Absolute employee gave my husband a date on a Thur., no one showed up and the weather had been on our side that week. When we called to confront them, they called my husband a liar. So, now as we start to open the ladder and other included accessories, we find that we have no reel for the covers. When we asked why there response was you received everything you need!!! They did make this right by supplying us with a new reel. When we called to see what was going on, we were told that someone would call us back. They didnt and then after fuming for 2-3 days we would call back due to our frustration. We have talked to managers, regional and district, just to get somewhere with this process. We havent been in the pool, yet. It looks great!!! We are on the fence about sending anyone else to them. My advice would be either the salesman be direct and tell you that there is no reel or possiblecustomers make sure to ask. They are quick with the wording and at one point I had to tell one of the managers that I did not appreciate his tone with me . They have a long-standing decent reputation. I admit that the weather played a big role in the whole process, but lack of communication and / or returning calls was terrible. This is not our first pool and never have we had this kind of dealings in the past. I expect that I will see a reply from them and thats fine. I will be getting my frogger, shock, etc from another pool supplier.It is now covid 2020. We opened our pool only to find sharp rocks protruding the bottom and we are very afraid that we are now going to have holes and leaks. Contacted Litehouse...spoke with Calvin who says he is a new manager to our area. Promised me a call back 06/04/20. Today is 06/11/20. Now when I call it goes directly to mailbox. Leave a message...still no reply.They also use the leap frog infuzer which is a bit more costly and you cant find the bacpacs or mineral reservoir for the infuzer like you can for the original Frogger. They sell them though. We bought a new one ( original) without even using the one they supply in their packages. Be very careful...I had a Hayward pump on our pool at our old house...they supply some off brand that Im not sure will last as long.Third rate communication at best!!! DO NOT TRUST THEM!!DO NOT BUY FROM THIS PLACE!!!
Very rude, i was lied to, was hung up on as for a resolution on time frame was told they would compensate me for all the issues Ive had ended up just being stored credit to buy more product from them very disappointed no effort made in making the customer feel like they are appreciated

Long post but here are all the details. This is our second pool (moved from home with first pool we had GREAT service the first time but it was all different people than who’s there now). Last year when we purchased the pool (mid summer 2018) the guy who sold the pool (assistant manager) said it would be installed within 2 weeks. Over 4 weeks later it was installed. Asked since due to their mistelling me of installation if anything could be done. No nothing done. Gauge was broken on cartridge filter. Called regarding installation not being on time and gauge not working. Nothing done, blew me off. Fast forward to this spring 2019 just went to the “big” 2 day sale. Spent a lot of our hard earned money on stuff for our pool. When I left I brought home 2 solar heaters, the chemicals, 1 by pass kit for solar heaters and ladder liner. Upon leaving 1 solar Heater box was opened. I asked was it a return? Everything in there?I was assured it was.My items ordered from the sale would be in Monday I was told. Ok no big deal.My hubby checked out the open box solar heater to find it missing pieces and I didn’t need the by pass kit.So we planned on returning Monday when we picked up other items.Monday comes my hubby and I go to the store first thing Monday morning.We get there and come to find out the trucks not there. I was never told they’d call me Monday when my items where in. So while there first trip Monday we returned the bypass kit, missing pieces solar heater and chaise lounge chairs that didn’t ring up correct for “big sale”. (By the way they put a bogus retail price to make you feel like you’re getting a deal).Hubby goes home we wait for the call when the truck arrives.Hubby goes back to pick up all the stuff that came on truck.Hubby is putting all our stuff on the pool and metal support bar for the ladder (ordered item) is completely bent. Paints not cracked so it was shipped like that without regard to quality.Make our third trip to lite house in 2 days for an issue with something they sold us. I ask to speak to a manager. I tell them all the trouble with these items and ask for something to be done. Again I get the same customer service of “oh sorry here’s your new ladder bar.”I will NEVER spend another dime at lite house pools. After all these major problems I’d think something could be done. They are only worried about making money and not customer service. Hence why I was I feel lied to in the first place on how soon my pool would be installed when we bought it. (And side note our pool installers said they have heard multiple times from other customers that this same person will tell a time frame to make a sale.)Especially where there are multiple errors on their behalf.I will be looking for a new pool place. Luckily there is one just down the road with better prices too.You’ve lost our business forever and I will never recommend you.
The people are nice and you can pretty much get pretty much almost anything you need or want for your swimming pool
I purchased a Jandy gas heater from litehouse less than 1 year ago for almost $3000 if you include tax, litehouse installation and having to hire someone else to install it. I used the heater for July and August last year and attempted to turn on yesterday for first time this year. The heater will not work they are telling me that they will come out for a$98 service call and $85 an hour to fix it. I started this is a brand new heater and they say that this is how they will warranty it. Buyer they will sell you everything under the sun but check the fine print because as soon as they have your money they are done with you. I would take my business elsewhere!!!

Just bought chemicals to shut down our pool and we decided drain pool instead . Took back the chemicals still in the bag with the receipt and was told they wouldnt give me a refund due to there policy of no returns on chemicals. But My receipt states that you need a receipt for a return, I also did not see sign any where posting this. I can see it if they were opened but did not even take them out the bag. I have spent a lot over the last several years and to be treated like this. I will never step in there store again!!!
