Jim is great with his knowledge of music and guitars. Really anything you need. Great local place to go to and his quality work is fantastic which is hard to fine these days.

Only been here once. Unassuming from the outside. Nice little shop on the inside. Owner is very friendly and helpful. Good customer service.Recommended by another local shop who didnt have what I needed. Found out Jaws has been in business here for 13 years now. Nice!I value small business and will happily choose a mom and pop store over a big box store whenever possible.

Stopped by with my wife and son who is interested in playing a bass guitar. We were greeted by Jim (owner) and he immediately directed my son to go and play a bass guitar while my wife and I talked with Jim. He was very professional and it did not seem like we were talking to a car salesman. As a store, very, very little selection of amplifiers or guitars. Staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and not at all uptight about customers touching and trying out the gear they do have on hand. May be better as a place for repairs and maintenance, but cannot attest to that.

Great little shop! Jim is a nice guy whos always been fair on his prices and keeps a surprisingly good selection of mid-range gear. I drive 50+ miles to go there.

I’ve been to jaws for guitar repair and custom work to be done at least 3 times in the past year. I’m driving 30 miles to get there because the service is worth it. Jim has a great can-do attitude about everything and completes the work so fast. I started going to jaws guitars because my local shops were letting me down regularly with poor work and VERY SLOW service. I will keep going to Jaws as long as I’m in the area and can make the drive. Keep up the great work!

If your looking for true professional workmanship,Jaws is the place to go! Jim worked on 2 of my guitars and what a difference a day makes! My strat plays beautiful after doing small things to it,and my 12 string never sounded better! True craftmenship!!! And a 5 star waiting to any one who walks into his shop!!!
