I went to another place here in the cape and got some cheap-choppy work done and could not believe how they installed my system I was so upset but then found this place they fixed and reinstalled a better system for me, they really know their stuff. I absolutely love this system so much better and easier to use and it’s installed professionally. What a great place and super friendly staff. My only regret is I didn’t use them sooner.

Recently came here to get my dash camera installed and new stereo with reverse camera. I have to say they did a great job with installation and explaining everything. My sub wasn’t working at all and I decided to come to this place and see what could be done about it. Jordan helped me out and was very professional and friendly. He told me before hand what could be the problem and he preceded to check my system. He checked the connections, amp, radio, the sub and enclosure. After all of that the issue was one of the connections inside the sub box terminal was burnt. He replaced it and put everything back together and voila... my sub was working perfectly and I had my BOOM BOOM back. (That’s what I call my sub). Would recommend this place 110%

This place is wonderful. Went in looking for speaker upgrades, on wifes mini van. They took the time to answer my questions, and get what was needed. Not to mention the new speakers were affordable. Now the mini van sounds like your in a concert, and wife is very happy.

I was nervous bringing a brand new vehicle somewhere, but Im happy I chose Sound Playground. They were able to keep a stock look with a huge improvement in sound and no loss of cargo space. In addition to being priced fairly, they were meticulous and careful during the install.

This is a great family owned business. I just purchased a brand new car off the lot, and the stock sound system was sub par. I literally drove the car off the lot, and brought it here. Jordon is a professional, and very knowledgeable at what he does. He replaced all the speakers, added amps, and a sub in the trunk. The sound is night and day. I highly recommend this place.

Excellent service and recommendations from Nat & Jordan. After getting stumped on a self install were no other place in Lee or Sarasota County would assist me with 1: Telling me the exact part I needed. 2: telling me what to do with it & 3: Most importantly, actually taking 1-2 minutes to look at what I did & make sure the part I was getting was in fact the right part & what to physically do to finish the install.Id have paid them to finish it or at least the last connection, but their appointments were fully booked Saturday. Might have them finish the last 2 wires that need connecting Monday if I cant get to it.Theyll happily install your amp & speakers at a competitive price by appointment.

We were thrilled with Sound Playground! These are some great guys that really know their stuff! They could not have been more helpful! Some of the nicest, friendliest people we have ever met in a place of business. They helped us out when we were in a jam with the radio in our RV that was not even sold by them! When we called them to ask if they could help us they told us to come right over so they could have a look at it. After careful consideration they removed our radio and replaced a part. It worked perfectly! They saved us a 4 hour trip to our RV dealer to get the problem fixed. They took great care with our new RV and their charge to do all of this was way more than reasonable! My husband and I would highly recommend Sound Playground. These guys were fantastic and we cant say enough good about them!

I highly recommend Sound Playground. I stopped by today to get an estimate on a blown car speaker, and drove out as one very happy customer. Not only was the price reasonable and the quality sound EXACTLY what I was looking for, but they had me in and out of there in the time it takes to get an oil change done. They also solved a deck vibration problem that I had been dealing with for over 6 years...at no additional charge. These guys are the best. I was able to listen to a variety of speakers before installation, so I could make a personal choice, which really made a difference. I love the sound and Im so impressed with their knowledge and service. Thank you guys! :)

On 7/2/2012 I made an appointment to have my cars windows tinted on 7/5/2012 at 10:00 am.Arrived at the business at 9:45 (habit), business opens at 10:00 am. No show, and left around 10:20 am, came back around 10:40 am. When I told them I was there for my scheduled appointment, the young man said My tint man wont be back till Saturday.The business seems to offer various custom car needs and probably does quality work, but customer service and professionalism is lacking from my experience.Should of known better to go to a business named Sound Playground for tint.

I had the worst experience I have ever had in a business like this. They took 8 hrs to install my radio with back up cam. I was told this was going to be a 2 HR job. I was not the only one there that experienced this that day. There were 4 other customers waiting like me with appointments. We felt like we knew each other for years and wish each other good luck when our vehicles were done since we spent most of the day waiting. No one took the time to update you on progress or at least acknowledge the time you been waiting. After the install was complete there were still issues they said were out of their control and I would have to live with. I took my car to another shop in ft Myer and they were amazed at the bad quality of work and were able to fix it for a small fee. There was no discount offered for the inconvenience. Which could of soften the blow a bit. NEVER AGAIN

The Cape Coral Police staff Sargent said that my experience with Sound Playground did not surprise her. She said she has worked in CCPD for 20 years and has dealt with Sound Playground enough throughout the years. But because I did not take pictures of the interior of my car before they worked on it, I have no proof that they switched out my parts for something else.If you decide to have them work on your vehicle, take pictures first. Especially if you are a woman, they love to tell you that you have no idea what was in your vehicle that you drive every single day. Or especially if you have after market parts in your car that could be worth $$. Or incase they might break something and try to replace it with an old and dirty part. Either way, my real and true recommendation is to NOT do business with Sound Playground. It has been my experience that they are either petty thiefs, or crooked liars.

Sound Playground is a wonderful, family owned business that does great work at a fair price. They know their product line, and have never tried to upsell me past my actual needs. The installations have all been very clean, and theyve all been completed either before the expected time, or right on time. I cannot recommend this business more. Was in this this place for 10 min without anyone helping me. So decided to look at the head unit display and there was 2 chicks sitting on their ass watching a movie on a phone completely blocking the display. Left and went to auto sound cape coral and got an incredible deal. Save yourself the headache and go to a professional.

Although it was busy, I was greeted and helped quickly in a calm and friendly manner. I got the subwoofer box I needed right away, he came out to my truck to see that it would fit, as I was concerned about that. Definitely will be going back :-)

At first, I was very wary about this audio shop after reading the reviews. Im an African-American. From the first time I talked to Chris on the phone up until I went to the shop and Jordan explained the products thoroughly, I felt no racial energy. I have a nice navigation system and car alarm. My only negative is that my Nav system was not delivered the day of my install so I had to rearrange my schedule to get it done. These guys have products that will fit your budget unlike the rest. They offer more than just one brand of audio equipment. Sound Playground was very courteous and professional.

Beat sound shop in lee county. I go here for anything related to speakers. Very helpful and trust worthy family business.

They told me the HID headlights they installed here were legal and i would have no problems, then i get pulled over and a ticket for one being out and them being blue. the cop told me it was flickering while driving down the road. I called and told them what had happened, was told it was impossible the light would go out while i was driving and that hid headlights are legal. I was told he could put my stock headlights back in at no charge, this would leave me out 500 dollars and with the same headlights i had to begin with. after looking at the back of the box the hid headlights came in i noticed it stated for show and off-road use only they installed illegal headlights in my vehicle and was told they will not pay for my tickets and to call a lawyer. I would suggest going somewhere else

I have been and tried almost all car stereo shops in the tri-county area. Not only is it a local family operated business they treat you and your vehicle like their own. I have saved thousands where I would have spent other places. They just completed a serious off road lighting package. A++ I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMEND!

Wow, this place is a rip off.. after buying a pair of 3.5s for my dash, and an amp.. I looked online and saw the amp didnt have the power they say it did, it also was part of a kit, and they priced it at $90 when the kit(which included 2 12 subs) can be had for $110.. and the 3.5s they sold me they sold at twice the price.. Save your wallet, go somewhere else.. even Wal-Mart might be a better choice..

I had an alarm installed there in 2003 and in 2011 I paid for a new remote after mine was just getting old. When it came in they were unable to sync it with my alarm and I was told they would order another. When they did the same thing happened it wouldnt sync. At this point they told me to stop by again (3rd) time and they would get it figured out. They didnt. So I let some time pass as I was sick of going there for no reason. Now my remote for the alarm is broken. They still owe me $45 for a remote I never got. Its 2015 now and yes I was stuck with the alarm going off for an hour in a parking lot with no way to disable it. There are things you can do to make the alarm stop, none of which worked. I had to leave the battery unplugged all night and leave my car in a parking lot. They will not refund me for the remote nor can they order one for my alarm. I no longer have a usable alarm. Go somewhere else. Really.

Called to get a price on tuning my stereo system and ended up getting walked thru over the phone and set it up perfect and now sounds great will go there for any audio from now on. seeing every other shop in town didnt even want to look at it to set it up.
