Worst experience Ive ever had in a Walmart. Only three Checkers lines open and people were lined up six deep. No attempt whatsoever to open up more lines or help customers. Management simply did not care

Walmart has a lot of nice clothes at a reasonable price that I can afford when I need to buy new clothes for all the seasons though out the year

Good liquor selection. Some items are at very good prices compared to other states but some items not so good priced. It was hard finding help here but store was clean and well stocked

I’m thankful for everyone that works so hard at this Walmart. I see it! It doesn’t go unnoticed!Management /owners should consider bringing back the overnight crew to stock shelves. It makes it difficult to shop, not only with bare shelves, but with the personal shoppers shopping for the online orders as well as the pallets of food all over the place because they’re trying to stock during the day. It just makes it difficult In everyone. Oh, and Im not a fan of ALL THE SELF SERVE registers being switched to card only. I get it, I just don’t like it. I ended up being late for work today, (after leaving the house early) because I had cash, but had to wait in line Only 2 registers were open. I understand staffing is low. I wish there were someway to make things easier on the ones that do work so hard. I try not to complain, just wanted to let you know, you are appreciated and you should bring back the night stockers. The lady greeting at the door was extremely cheerful and helpful. If I could rate her alone she would get 5 stars. The store itself would get zero stars. I hate that the only lanes open are self checkout! I do not work there! Why do the customers have to do the jobs of the employees?!

Good service at the service desk, and the associates working the registers treat you with kindness makes you want to come back again and again..... Thank God for good people and good service.

Walmart has definitely stepped up their game in the exotic food department. Who eats this? What is it like? Look how cheap it is? You can also get snails? Very exotic and interesting food at Walmart for sure. I wonder if we could get a Walmart fear factor going. Would anyone join for $1000 grand prize or a Walmart shopping gift card. We could travel from Walmart to Walmart and have a real game show on social media?

The Cape Girardeau location could use a little better maintenance/regular cleaning in the restrooms. The rest of the store is fairly clean. Convenient location.

Always out of stock of many items. Employees never offer help. Once saw an employee at the front door refuse to offer to help a very elderly man on to a scooter. She said, thats not my job. Bathrooms are disgusting. Produce is poorly stocked. Lettuce is usually already wilted / slimy looking. Parking lot dimly lit. Need security, better training for employees and management, incentives, and to do a better job with inventory.

Personally I despise the business do to the loss of other options. The staff is alright, not always friendly, but usually helpful. I only use the pharmacy because it is the closest one to me that is contracted with GoodRX

They never have anything I want it need in stock. I mean who runs out of school paper among other things its just ridiculous. If you know its a fast sell then why wouldnt you order extra to make sure the public is able to come in and but everything they need??? Its an impossible place

Basic supercenter. Get your stuff and get out.

Huddle House is very good I go eat there most of the time I advise anyone else to go there you will not go wrong

Walmart use to be one of my favorite stores, but I find myself going there less and less. I use to go daily, then monthly, and now we go there about once a year. It is just not the store it was growing up. Most of the checkout lines are self checkout with little or no human interaction. How sad is that. Took my little girl there this evening to do her school shopping an could only find about half the things she needed there as everything was picked over and scarce. The customer service there is horrible now. I prefer to go to DG here lately as at least they have great HUMAN customer service

Instead of one star they should be receiving zero stars. I went in for one item and was in the store 45 minutes because they had one register open and two of the self checkout lanes closed and lines were backed up around the center aisle and they were still not opening any person checkout lanes. Service now days sucks. With all the employees they Have supposedly stocking they should take the ones that are not doing anything standing around and put them on lanes to make stuff go faster otherwise they’re going to start losing money.

I had a pleasant experience as usual however1. Where did the usual spices go?2. Why do you not carry Jugs of water ?? You just have the packs of single bottles.3. You request masks, however only about half were wearing them!Other than that all was fine.

No employee asked if I needed help but i found what i needed. There was alot of people stocking the shelves which was fine but I think theyd do that overnight. The place was fairly clean. Kind of a lot of stuff in there will spend all day in there if your not careful

Its walmart you pretty much know what to expect. I will say this walmarts shelves are far more empty than any walmart Ive visited recently

It was a pretty good experience except I couldnt get my Brisk lemon tea 12pk or my ALWAYS boutique feminine pads.

Very few employees know where anything is in this walmart. I asked a young guy to get a container of cat litter for me. It was on a high shelf. He went around to the next isle, stood there leaning on a shelf. While he was doing that, Bruce climbed up the shelves and got it. Then the guy came back and said I cant find any way to get it. Lord. I was walking up and down the isle, saying where is Mike?! Where is Mike?!! Mike usually works the pet isles and he is the most helpful, kind employee walmart has. He will help you find anything anywhere in that store. Mike Wishner, I sure hope youre working the pet isles this weekend!!! 😀

Online grocery pick-up employees are amazing. They work hard, quickly and effectively together as a team. Especially that employee named Trey. Someone should get that guy a raise!

My latest experience with Wal mart is no different then before this is just my first time posting my experience. My husband and I went on the evening of 8-25-21 all was well until we ask for assistance with colognes in which the front desk paged them to the area we waited for 15 minutes and no one ever came to help us. So I went back to the service desk let them know and the clerk acting as if I was intruding on her time of leaning on the register, she rudely says well I guess I could page them again. I told her no thank you we wont be needing any colognes from Walmart since it is a hassle for you, her response was whatever and not to end there we also get to the check out and the cashier was very slow and displayed attitude of being bothered by us. There were no other lines open and we was standing in line for 10 minutes while she rang the gentleman with 8 items in front of us out. We decided that Walmart employees of Cape Girardeau, MO does not care about their customers at all, they are rude and act as if they are doing us a favor. So we will not ever go back to the Cape Walmart again. So we left our cart full there in line and left.

Food was pretty good. Rolls were hard the second time brought to the table. Our table had good service for the most part,

I was shopping in Walmart Supercenter in Cape Girardeau the afternoon of 3/31/2021. I had completed large shopping list and had picked up groceries for Easter Dinner, some clothing items, and some serving pieces. I got into checkout line and waited for 25 min. I placed call to manager on duty was told it was their day off. Spoke with an assistant manager and explained that customers were lined up through the store and they needed more cashiers. I was told they were short staffed and they were doing what they could. Okay. Then an associate came through and closed the line I was waiting in saying it was past time for her to go home and no one was there to relieve her. We would have to get into another line. at that point there was only one person in front of me. I was not going to wait in line another 25 minutes. I left my full cart in the aisle and left because I was frustrated. Please consider adding more cashiers. I believe there were only 4 lines open and of course self-checkout which I dont like to use when I have a large order. Or perhaps Walmart could give a 7 percent discount on bill for self checkout. Just an idea. Should get some reward for doing your job.

The people at the front door were very rude!! I am disabled and can barely walk 10ft. I came in looking for a electric scooter. I asked at the front door if they could call down to the other end to check for one. I just flat out got told NO!! You came at too busy of a time. Some other customers were leaving at the same time without buying anything, the lady at the door stopped them and said something and they said we just spent 30mins getting things, were not spending another 30mins to check out!! Well the lady again told them they came at too busy of a time!! I did go to the other end, find a scooter, go buy a basketful of clearance plants and the person at checkout was super sweet.

Built like the Walmart I remember as a kid! Very easy to find what we were needing plus a couple extra things that I wanted. Great place and very friendly people!

The cashiers could care less to speak to you. When they do, its because you stop in your tracks, and say THANK YOU (for the 2nd or 3rd time. Making them speak to you. Just rude! The lady in the home and garden department was nice and helpful.

I went to ask about a problem with my phone to the person in electronics that deals with the smartphones, and he was extremely rude. The whole time I explained my problem he seemed very annoyed and almost angry I was talking to him. He cut me off and basically said my phone was a lost cause, and got upset when I didnt know how to back up my photos on my phone. I took it to a repair store and it was a couple hour fix for 15 dollars. Perfectly fine now. I left Walmart in tears because of that employee all because of his attitude. He was also wrong about the problem, and didnt even bother to look at my phone. Will never go there again.

Just left here at 4:45pm on Friday October 29th. And the older blonde woman who was working the self check out lanes closest to the produce is just rude. I dont remember ever having WORSE service here. SHE WAS SNAPPING HER FINGERS AND RUDELY POINTING CUSTOMERS AROUND IN HER HORRIBLE RAN LINE. WHO EVER YOU ARE LADY. YOU ARE PATHETIC. And need to be demoted to a door greeter or cart pusher.

Poor staff to customer ratio. Impossible to find help or half of the stuff you want.

I like the pickup feature at this store. They said the one in jackson would have it soon, about 2 yrs ago. I do like being able to pick my order up without being exposed to other people. That has made me feel safe. I really appreciate the people that work in the pickup, they are great.

4th if July Holiday, this Walmart totally out of pork steaks for the outdoor grill.

For the most part we love this store but your automotive department no not so much I called up on Thursday asked a gentleman the price of the battery for my particular vehicle he quoted me between $54.88 and $ 88.88 I had him check it 3 times but today Saturday I called back today to let them know I was coming and the snot nose little punk that looks like he is still wet behind the ears told me point blank I was a liar I was only gonna $106 battery what did I know I was a woman really this how you do business really

Not happy with this Walmart, boxes everywhere employees all in the way to where I couldn’t get half of what I needed. Then have to check myself out was too much. They clearly had employees standing around they could’ve checked us out. If I have to do all the work I’d rather go to other places

I have purchased tires with lifetime tire rotation and balance. When I went to get it done, they had 6 cars in front of me. The service manager told it would take 2 hours minimum to get my car done. The pictures are showing that they have 11 technicians. All but one lane is occupied. It is the slowest service in town!

Too busy, no help, impossible pharmacy, jam packed w no handicap parking, you get 2 stars for having 2 items actually in stock that I needed.

Good store. But it seems like the choice of some products has been reduced. There use to be more selection in the tool department. I suppose this is probably the way most Wal Marts are, these days.Love the huge selection in electronics along with the automotive dept.With all said, pretty nice store.

This place is always a horrible experience. Not only do I have to deal with a bunch of half conscious meat suits walking around like zombies, but now I have to wear a mask and check out myself, and bag my own groceries. I dont even get an employee discount or a fancy badge to wear. 1/10 would not recommend.

Where the hell are the cocktail stirrers ?! I come here quite often now that I live in Cape but cannot seem to find cocktail stirrers (I feel like I’ve bought them here before?) Coffee Stirrers instead 🤷🏼‍♀️

Parking can be an issue depending on when you do your shopping .. Selections are adequate to numerous .. produce is usually fresh .. checkout is easy with numerous self-checkout stations.

Frustrating visit to Wal-Mart. We went in with a list of things to get. Nothing on their web site showed anything on the list as out of stock. We had also written the aisle numbers where the items were supposed to be. Most were NOT at the indicated places. When we finally found the new locations, the items were not there, or only off brands were stocked. In line for about 45 minutes. There were lines at the self checkouts. Now, the self checkouts outnumber live checkers. I do not think I will go back there.

Chronically understaffed and tries to rely on self-check out to make up for it. Its also difficult to get to and to navigate around in a car because of a strange choice in traffic patterns. Actually, its much like all Walmarts in most regards.
