The store manager here is so sweet. For the dollar stores in our area this one does a pretty good job at keeping its shelves stocked.

Its fairly organized and kept clean, especially when compared to other Dollar Generals

This dollar store is ine of the busiest ive seen at any/every time I have visited it. Surely this one can afford a 3rd staff member on truck drop dates/times at least? It appears they didnt think so or didnt want to spend a dime to investigate. It aggrevated me that the staff was so overloaded as I would bet theyre underpaid too

This Dollar tree seems to be the exact size of the one near Wal-Mart but lack of proper Item placement(or management) makes the place feel small and congested. Its seems like it needs a good cleaning also. The only good thing is that the employees are very nice. Ive never had a problem with them and they always seem happy to help if I have question or need help locating an item.

This particular location had very bare shelves.

Its an older store so a little more cramped than the newer ones. Staff was friendly!

Nasty, nasty, nasty. You cant even get to the merchandise bcs there is carts EVERYWHERE, waiting to be put away.

Great for quick pick ups if you dont want the hassle of going to Kroger or Walmart for a few items. Now they have ice and it is cheap! Stocks lot of goods, but naturally not exhaustive. recommend.

As usual, the place is a wreck,the clerk will not shut up about how bad his life is,and the parking lot looks like a landfill

I understand the disability act and had an aunt with Downs so I grew up around it like it was the norm, but this guy makes me feel uncomfortable and said inappropriate things most of the time. I usually dont complain or report but t this has to stop

It never fails everytime I go to Dollar general I leave with waaaaay more stuff than I intended to buy. This is a great spot for students to come pick up little things for their first apartments! They have everything you need from pet food to cosmetics, to storage containers.Staff was pretty friendly, lines werent too long. I have no complaints.

I love how they done the whole place it looks so freaking amazing! I cant believe how nice it really is in there. The only problem is I dont feel like they have enough people working there which is why people have to stand there for so long it ridiculous.

Lady who works there was very helpful in finding what I was looking for. This store is very disorganized so it was helpful.

I went in only1 employee was working the whole store. Stocking, cashier and customer service. This employee appeared exhausted and as we spoke explained he was working over 10 per shift, from opening to closing for a couple of days in a row because his co-workers were scheduled for their days off - ????. The aisle are always impassable due to stocking left through out the store on dollys. This store is extremely small. The shelves are disheveled, in no specific order and prices arent always available. I really enjoy General Dollar stores, but this store really needs some serious attention.

I dont hate Dollar General, I shop there about 3 at least times a week, kinda like a everything store and fast in and out ! Pretty crowded with stuff but it has about everything you need !

Cashiers are nice. They consistently open on time. They are open everyday and they consistently have the same inventory in stock.

This is the worst store that Dollar General has in the Carbondale area. It used to be a very nice store, however, in the past few years it has turned into a dump! There is always merchandise in the aisles which hasnt been put on shelves with racks of items blocking access to the produces. Its not very clean and the employees though they try just seem overwhelmed with work. I drive to any of the other area stores before I will even attempt to go into this store. Your corporate office needs to send someone here to get this store in shape and maintained properly. I cant imagine what your lose revenue chart must look like for this store!!!

Store is somewhat organized, but the cashier was not very friendly and didnt seem too enthusiastic about being there that day.

This store needs some serious TLC, I will literally go out of my way and drive all the way to the new Dollar General out by Unity Point in Makanda before I come to this one. My review has nothing to do with employees, only the store and its appearance. Like this place is seriously ran down, crowded, and nothing is really organized so theres random items everywhere making it hard to find what youre looking for.

There were too many items out of stock at this place and nothing was faced forward for presentation. The battery rack only had 2 varities of batteries on it! The other 30 or so slots were out of stock. The prices arent great. I went to get a specific cleaner that they carry, but I dont recommend anyone shop here. The place felt disorganized.
