A nice spot for decently priced liquor

Way OVERPRICED!!! $13.69 for a pack of cigarettes and pints of liquor $1-2 over the next highest place in town. Im scared to even look at beer & fifth prices. Snobby attitude on top of it!!!Im by not poor by any means but it seems to me they feel too good to have poor folks around their fancy store.

My favorite liquor store in Carbondale! U have been here for about 4 years now and i can honestly say the amount of deals this place does is amazing. Every member of staff have been friendly and nice, though the staff seems to changes constantly. But no matter what time of day i go in there i am never disappointed by staff or the amount of deals.

Although somewhat recently under new ownership, it is maintaining the same level of quality service that its always had. Fair, reasonable prices. A large selection of Beer, Wine, and Liquor. Decent selection of quick snacks. And right smack-dab in the middle of town. I have shopped here for my party supply needs for many years. And I will continue to do so.

Convenient place to go when you need something quick and everywhere else is closed. Otherwise the sale on liquor is better than others. Everything else is higher price.

I would like to make a response to the review made by someone. Yes... We do now only take credit cards with a chip. Not because lack of our employees not checking ids with credit cards because we have been doing that for a while now. Fraudulent credit purchases have happened because people have stolen peoples c.c. numbers and have made their own credit cards with their names ON them. With a chip we can fight fraudulent charges and not automatically lose not only the money to have to pay back to the banks but also the product that goes with the crooks. So with that said i stand by our employees knowing that we were doing everything possible to keep this from happening. Sorry for any inconvenience. Come see me at Old Town.

Helpful staff. Great Selection

I cant use a debit card here without a chick because their employees couldnt be bothered to take an ID with a credit card so that they didnt get ripped off so Im supposed to pay extra money to go to an ATM because their employees helped defraud customers by not checking IDs. Because I guarantee all these so-called fraudulent charges wouldnt have happened had the person with credit card been carded but sure punish the customer for the slack employees

Lot of varieties, but little bit expensive. Staffs are cheerful and polite.

Refused to sell me liquor since another adult with me had no I.D> on them. Then lied claiming it to be a law, when its not, its just a store preference. Denied me my legal right to purchase for only that reason. The New manager is horrible!
