Jonathan was a great salesman. He wasn’t pushy. He didn’t try to convince me to upgrade or any of the typical salesman tactics. He listened to me and gave me options that aligned with my needs. So far the work seems to have been fine. It was done relatively quickly. You didn’t have all of the parts on hand, but retrieved them within an hour or two, and had me out on the road. I suggest making it more clear that your repair shop is open earlier than the dealership; I would have come in hours earlier if I would have known I could. And my only complaints are that I could’ve paid half of what you charged by going somewhere else (less than that if I were doing it myself), and also that you charged us over $200 just to do a diagnostic that took a few minutes. I was on a trip with my family and opted to come straight to you because I correctly assumed that you could get it done quickly, and I appreciate that, but paying double what the next guy is charging doesn’t sit well. And being charged an incredibly high price for a diagnostic that you conveniently wave if I decide to receive service from you might have ensured that I stayed and paid your price for parts and labor on that one day, but it also ensured that I’ll never use or recommend you, or any other Chevrolet dealership, to anyone else unless the above practices change, and I won’t even know if they do change unless someone tells me, because I’m probably not going to return. No hard feelings or anything. I’m just being honest. I wish you all well, and really appreciate your help in getting us back to our vacation.

Completely unprofessional and unreliable sales staff. 1000% would not recommendI went in after receiving a savings voucher for a promotional offer. They had advertised on Facebook they were having a lots of opportunities for people with no or bad credit. They offered 1 dollar down and accepting all trades. I responded to the promotion and my appt was made for Saturday 7/31. I was given to a terrible salesman named Jesus R. He did not once ask what type of vehicle I was interested in or even show us any type of vehicles. He took my information and walked away from the desk without a word. 1 entire hour passed by and I had to go find him sitting at the main desk with the manager before I got any explanation ad to what was going on or what I was waiting for. The manager explained to me they were waiting on a bid on my old car, I understood completely. We left briefly to get some food on the promise that he would call once we got the bid. 30-45 min go by we eat and come back with no call from manager so I go see if there are any updates and he said yes we have a bid. He asks a different salesman to take down my payment info and the salesman tells me to pick a desk any desk and sit and he would be with us shortly. I did and he said and waited another 20 min before he came over with numbers on a car we had NEVER talked about. Completely opposite of what they advertised! We spent about 4 hours there and NOT ONCE got to see a car. Most of the time we spent waiting!! 100% dissatisfied with their sales staff and even the lazy manager. I understand it takes time but it is unprofessional to be kept waiting when there is not an explanation as to what we are even waiting for. After I said I had a savings voucher not once did it come up again.

Beware Carlsbad chevrolet - they WILL charge you for service and parts when your vehicle should be covered under warranty. It happened to me. I drive a 2021 Tahoe and was working with Jessica in service. It has now been over two weeks and no resolution. Still waiting for nearly $600 in refunds. Anytime I call, parts refers me to service, and service refers me to parts and no one can give me a straight answer. Typical runaround. Why can’t anyone take ownership and call me back to resolve? Worst dealership I have ever worked with.

I came in to get a minor thing fixed on my car. At first I had a bad experience, due to lack of communication on their part and keeping my car longer than I had anticipated. However, Jessica in the service department was extremely professional and helpful. She sought out how they could improve their service and how to rectify the wrong. She made sure I left happy. While traveling on vacation I experienced an issue with my Tahoe making a noise that I thought was the water pump failing. I called the dealership and made an appointment to bring it in or have towed in the next morning. When I arrived they diagnosed the issue and repaired it that day. The customer service was excellent and the repairs were done expediently and thoroughly. I recommend their service department.

PLEASE READ!!! Im a chevy guy....had 99 and 2010 camaro.....have 06 avalanche and 09 4x4 silverado.I took my 09 chevy to dealer to have it worked on for electrical harness, 3 weeks later i go get it because i need it for work and they kept telling me they would fix it but till next week. So the following week they would tell me same thing......or to call back at 5:30 ( because they close at 6). They just never had time for it. The day that I went to pick it up I saw my booster was missing, glove compartment open, missing magnetic mount for booster, sunglasses, prescription glasses, cologne, and other personal items. I told the technician on what I should do.....either call police for a police report or him get with the manager and look at video tapes to correct this and he told me that he would talk to manager early in moring to get this resolved. So i took pics of how i found truck for evidence because there was no broken window or forced entry.The next day i dont get a call back from chevy (like they would always tell me but they never would). I went to dealershit and made a police report and manager was not there, so secratary called him and he said he looked back at video all the way back to 6 days because thats all they can go back on record and the booster was not there so she said they are not liable for stolen items.When the police officer showed up at chevy, he quickly told me that those items are gone and im not gonna trace them back because the manager wont show him the videos. He told me that he made the manager go to his office and show the officer the videos and the manager was not cooperating fully. (That tells you everything) The police officer told me that it happens alot in chevy and with vehicles that are in for a long time.So my question is if the security cameras can only go back 6 days, why does this only happen to vehicles that are going to be at dealership for awhile and they just keep pushing your date further? Be aware(My opinion = inside job)Thank you for your time

Gabbie did a great job getting information from my insurance and regarding the information in clear conscious statements. She was very helpful when leaning on for more intricate details pertaining to the diagnostics. Only negative I have is that the mechanics left our vehicle very dirty with grease/dirt stains all over the passenger and driver side panels. Their workmanship was great! Just wished they cleaned up better post job completion. As well, I found the diagnostics pricing a little excessive considering the completion is ~$100-150 around other local shops. For the price they charged you can pretty much buy your own code reader and diagnose the issue yourself.

I bought a truck From this dealership and in the first 3 months of having the truck the CV shaft went out I went back to the dealership and had a insurance claim and they replaced it but then again I put my truck in four-wheel drive and it snapped again took it to the dealership and they wanted to charge me $700 because they said it wasnt under warranty under the drivetrain the warranty that they have so I replaced it myself and it still breaks so I have a four-wheel drive truck that sits in my parking lot that does not work cannot drive it because all it does is break and they dont do nothing about it very horrible place to buy a vehicle

I will not come there again and will not recommend to anybody else. First I was told that it would take 3days for my car to be looked at and it took a week. I had it towed there on 10/21/19 and was finallycalled on 10/28/19 and was told that my battery needed to be changed and that it was going to be$400.00. Her name was Kim and she told me the battery itself was $200.00, that is fine. I did think that$200.00 for labor was high But, was willing to go with it. Finally, Wednesday (10/30) morning I calledand spoke to Gabby, she said it was ready and to be there in 30 minutes that my paperwork would beready. When I got there, the paperwork was not ready and Gabby was gone. The lady that rang me upsaid $580. I told her I was quoted $400. So, she went back and spoke with the, I believe the servicemanager and got it down to $530. I explained to her that if I thought it would cost more than what I wasquoted (which was already high) I would have had it towed somewhere else. Gabby walked in as I wasspeaking and looked at the ticket, said she did not sell it and I said no, it was Kim. Gabby did fix it and Idid pay $428. I am glad that she did fix it. But, this situation should not have happened in the first place.Also, while this was happening, the lady that rung me up gave my keys to another service rep, a younggirl and asked her to go get my car, she replied about the cold. She held my key to the window andmade the lights flash, saw where it was and handed me the key. When Gabby was fixing my ticket, thelady that had rung me up previously, asked me if the other girl had gone to get my car. I told her no, thatshe gave me the key. She did take my key and retrieved my car warming it up. I have had my oil changed here several times before, but never any work done. Never again for anything! I did fill out the surveys that I was sent, but, nobody ever contacted me.

This place will rip you off and claim that your issues are caused by harsh environment of the oil field. I do not understand why some of the dealerships in Carlsbad are so against warranty work.

My 2016 Duramax went into limp mode... I have an extended warranty... I dropped my truck off for them to conduct diagnostic work and let me know the findings. My truck was just previously in another dealership last week for the same problem. I requested them to reset the codes and allow me to return the truck to the dealership where I have already paid for the services they want to repeat. I was charged 253.00 for diagnostic work after I refused their estimate of almost 1000.00. In my opinion this is excessive, as I told the service manager, They should wear masks because people committing robbery should at least cover their face. Pretty smiles and handshakes is not service, taking advantage of people is not service... Would not recommend this dealership to anyone.

Received excellent service from David who I assume is the service manager. Came in from out of town with a engine malfunction alert on the dash of our camper van. Despite the service dept obviously being very busy David used a plug in device to diagnose what the alert code indicated and then took the time to explain it to us, as well tell us what our options were, and how to help prevent its recurrence. He was very pleasant and efficient despite obviously being in a high stress job. All that said, It is also obvious that the service dept needs to be expanded to accommodate increased servicing needs.

They installed a bed liner in my truck so I can only offer comment on that.The bed liner was very well done. I was expecting a slide in liner and received a spray on liner. We were traveling from out of town and heard noise from brakes. It was 4:00 in the afternoon and the girl in service dept said to come in . They would work us in. Arrived at the dealership and both girls in service were very helpful. Got a service technician to look at the brakes. He came back and told us it was only dust. He cleaned the dust and gave us back the keys. Plenty of pads left. The service dept said there was no charge. Great service and honest.

I would not recommend this dealerships service department for anything, even a simple oil change. My girlfriend took our car in around September 1, 2019. Now 3 months and 5k miles later, I lifted the car to do an oil change today and heres what the clown who worked on my car did to the drain plug. Evidently they didnt think they had it tight enough when they put it back on... It cost me $60 between the right tool set to get it off and the new drain plug to replace it and I cut my hands all up today fooling with that mess. And fyi, when it finally broke loose, it felt like I really couldve and shouldve used a foot long breaker bar. I tried to add a picture of that drain pan plug and hopefully it goes through.

The folks in the service department were very apologetic and said the service manager, Gabby, would be in shortly and asked politely if we would like to wait for her to see what could be done. We said of course.When she arrived we went immediately to her office to get some resolution. She confirmed they did not have the space to work on the coach. She said she would be glad to call other repair shops to see if she could find someone to do the servicing. She did find someone and made the appointment for us. We told her our availability and she texted us with the name and phone number of the business.She overheard us talking about needing to rent a car. In a tremendous effort to make right the situation she offered us the use of a loaner car for the week. What started out as a difficult situation was transformed into a situation that led me to write this glowing review. It is not what happens but how you respond to what happens. They responded wonderfully and I highly recommend them. They have integrity.

Made an appointment online for an oil change for my husband’s truck. When he arrived for his appointment they told him another customer came in and needed extra work on their vehicle and they’ve been working on that vehicle and they were about to close, so they weren’t going to be able to work in his truck. So my husband ended up going somewhere else. Well I can honestly say it’s disappointing, he got off of work early as well to get there on time for his appointment. Carlsbad Chevrolet y’all could of at least called and gave heads up that y’all weren’t going to work on the vehicle.

Service was great. Basic oil change completed. The only issue I have is I have been to two other Chevrolet Dealerships for the same maintenance. The other two dealerships charged less for the same oil change and no extra charge for washing and vacuuming the vehicle. We were advised it would be a $20.00 charge to have this done. Small town and only dealership in the area means they can do this. Other than that, great service!

We got a great deal, but now that our vehicle rear entertainment system is not working (1yr after) we are learning what kind of service they really offer, and it’s lousy. We were told we could drop it, they would “get to it when they could”, it would be at least a few days, & no vehicle provided! Pretty terrible service when you spend 70k on vehicle.

I was driving down the Hobbs highway about a week ago when A semi truck had dropped most of its cargo. I had no other option but to continue driving straight into the contents or cause an accident by swerving. Unfortunately after running over a huge metal bar going about 55mph my car started acting weird and was making strange noises. I took it to my friend who is a mechanic and he said that one of the sensors would need to be replaced and some other minor issues caused by the impact. I took the car to Carlsbad Chevrolet and I was greeted by Tyree from service. I had to leave my car there for two weeks but Tyree kept me informed and updated every step of the way!

Ive always been a Chevy fan and just traded in my 2014 Silverado for the new 2019 Texas Edition Silverado. To my surprise, everything went very smoothly and I had a great experience dealing with the staff. Ive never had such an easy time buying a vehicle. The sales were NO PRESSURE and they were able to work with my trade. Im definitely going to tell my family.

Great service on the buying a car. Seems they fall a lil short on the service end been waiting 45 mins and they havent even taken my car back for a simple first oil change. The lady told me itd only be an hour unacceptable. You guys need to work on communicating with customers!

Its over a month and I havent got my license plate yet..They told me they are behind with MVD.. when usually a good dealership take two weeks to get your license plate..I shouldnt make a purchase at Carlsbad Chevrolet..

I bought a truck that had a problem rear end, I had proof that it was bad but because I had to repair my vehicle to get it back to Carlsbad and didnt have the defected parts I was denied and asked to pay it out of my own pocket. The truck was bought that way and they should fix it. it is now unsafe in my opinion but I have no choice at this point but drive it. I feel I have been wronged by both Carlsbad and GM as I called them too to get this resolved but all my pictures was not good enough for them. I have never been treated so bad and I have been a die hard chevy person since I was a kid now when there is a real issue chevy expects me tom pay for the problem that was there when I bought the truck, I paid to get it fixed to bring to Carlsbad so they could fix it under my warranty but I was turned down and told I would have to pay.

They say theyre open but nobody answers the phone been calling since they opened today and telling us parts will be in between 9 and 10 so I send a guy down there to get the part we need and then turn around and tell us if its not in we have to wait till Monday no you tell somebody Parts going to be in you get the part in..... Get this part this will be the last time we go here

I traded in 2 paid off vehicle For a brand new $50,000 truck so I would have the reassurance that me and my kids never be on foot with the bumper-to-bumper warranty. Somehow my gas tank fell apart and now guess what me and my kids are on foot. I don’t have very good things to say about the service department as far as I’m concerned. Didn’t even offer a loaner.

I love my car that I got from here. But if you are in a hurry to be in and out with signing papers dont plan on it. They lost our down payment check who knows where it could be its floating out there somewhere. So we had to write another check. Once they cash it in if they dont lose it again. I will have to set up a new account and fix all are bills. They make a mistake and we have to pay for it.

My mother bought a used car and I went down there to sign papers cause she wanted me on the title. So the finance guy is going over the prices for the car. He conveniently skips over a $400 charge. I ask what is was and he says its for an inspection of the car to make sure it was safe to drive and I say why should the customer pay for that. He is starting to back track and gets nervous and goes and gets a manager. So this big, fat, lazy piece of you know what comes in trying to act tough. I tell him I dont like how your treating customers and he tells me he doesnt have to tell me anything cause my mother is the one buying the car, just to let you know my mother is partially paralyzed and is rail thin. So this guy is trying to intimidate her but Im a big guy so I wasnt having it. So he goes on to say the $400 was for tint and the finance guy is new but they are both supposedly reading off the same computer screen. I tell my mother not to buy it just for how shady they were acting but she really wanted it and by the way she paid cash. She was told the price was $7000 but left paying right under $8000. So after she pays we walk outside and the rear window tint was old, bubbled, and peeling so it wasnt dealer installed tint that she paid $400 for! Then she takes it back the next day and says something is wrong with the front end. They keep it for the weekend and say they fixed it. I took it to my mechanic and he finds cracked struts, broken motor mounts and a few other problems, $7000 dollars worth! So my disabled mother goes and talks to the fat, lazy, lying, piece of you know what and all he can say its someones opinion! You can see where its cracked! Needless to say, do yourself a favor and go somewhere else or you might be writing your story on here too!

If your credit isnt perfect I dont recomend this place I have tried twice and both times I got the cold shoulder/ brushed off onto another sales man. Then heaven forbid you call to check the status of anything cause you wont get a call back. You just get transferred around to everyones voice mail instead of who you asked to speak to. If that is the way business is done here Ill go somewhere else...... And please take me off your mailing list I dont need any more junk mail.....

Customer service is awful hereYoud think theyd be knowledgeable about the vehicles theyre selling or servicing. But not a clue. Dont waste your time or money.We were very unhappy with Carlsbad Chevrolet.
