If there is a cooler coffee shop in the area I will be shocked. This place is so rad, can only imagine what it would have been like pre-Covid. The young girl working there this morning was lovely, I got the mocha sweetened with Stevia and it was delectable. Moreover, the style, decor, and ambience of this place alone makes it worth the trip!

This place has changed a lot over the years and its current state is the best yet! Inside is a wine bar on one side and coffee bar on the other. Both offer tasty beverages! They often have local musicians performing and have a cute, eclectic patio to enjoy. Definitely check it out! Be sure to enjoy the sleeping tiger mural outside too. This location is near the end of our Carlsbad Village Route and makes a great pit stop! ☕️ 🍷 🐅

Extremely pleasant cafe that shares a space with a wine bar. The baristas are very competent and just so happen to be beautiful as well. Very good beans as well when you want to make the coffee at home.

Had a cold brew Shandy. Staff was kind. Scenery and vibe of the place was awesome too.

A fun coffee shop to stop in with a wine bar on the other side. They make their own syrups which I always appreciate. The lattes were very good and had a lot of foam. My only complaint is I wish they had filled the cup up to the top so I could enjoyed more of it.

We quite literally stumbled upon this place by accident en route to Starbucks, because they are physically right next to each other. Friends, do yourselves a favor and come here instead!The coffee is sooo good. Super fresh, strong, and local. There arent as many menu options as Starbucks, but you can of course customize your drink, and everything they do offer here, they make extremely well. They even offer oat milk!Sleeping Tiger shares a space with Witch Creek Winery, and is fabulous in every aspect. The physical space is absolutely adorable. Theres an outdoor Garden Gift Shop that is incredibly well curated. There are all sorts of trinkets, furniture, and succulents available to purchase, and everything is arranged in such an inventive way. Theres a good sized patio, but most of the seats arent covered. There is, however, a covered outdoor private area for large groups or events.Lastly, Sleeping Tiger is dog friendly, which is such a nice bonus. They even have a few water bowls set out for pups

My favorite coffee shop in the entire world! the service is amazing and the staff are all so friendly. the atmosphere is incredible with the artwork on the walls and the overall layout of the shop. it is the perfect work environment, and the taste of the music that they play is wonderful! most importantly, their coffee and pastries are delightful. the “honey please” drink never fails to disappoint.

This was my second visit in a week and their iced Lattes & Iced Mocha Lattes were excellent! I would choose Sleeping Tiger Coffee and Witch Creek Winery over any of the mega store neighbors! Love the patio, a great environment for sipping your coffee or wine. Very tasty and cheaper alternative than Starbucks. Support your Local Businesses!I will return on a regular basis!

Great coffee! Even better service. I asked for an iced coffee and Jamie whipped me something magical with some ice, cold brew coffee, vanilla, caramel and chocolate drizzle. Delicious and the fact that they use organic products made me even happier. Ill definitely be popping in on a regular basis now. Service was amazing and done with a smile and the type of attentiveness you can only get when you support a small local business. Keep up the good work guys!

Skip Starbucks and hit up this real local spot. The coffee is fresh roasted in house, three times a week. Grab a bag or three on your way out. Beautiful spot with friendly staff and covid protocols in place. Spot becomes a wine bar by noon. 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍

The cappuccino I received was too hot, but not entirely burnt. Just try doing the milk a little cooler. A good cappuccino shouldnt burn my hand through the cup.

I just came in here to buy a bag of coffee, but the service was so great. I told the cashier what kind of coffee I liked and she walked me through her recommendations. The coffee tastes great and I love that they give you a free cup of coffee when you buy a bag.

Won’t come to Carlsbad without stopping here! I’ve had this place saved on my map for the longest and i finally got to try it out. I had a coffee called Misty Valley and it was honestly one of they best cups of coffee I’ve ever had. The beans had a vanilla blueberry taste that you were definitely able to smell and taste. Once you walk inside you’re able to notice that the place is split into two. On The right side they sold coffee and on the left they sold wine so everyone inside were drinking different things which was interesting. Outside they have this beautiful painting of sleeping tigers. Several people were stopping by to get a picture. The staff actually gave me several drink recommendations that i can’t wait to come back and try.

This coffee house is so great. Im on vacation and the last place I wanted was Starbucks. This place is fantastic, great service awesome vibes and lagit coffee. I love that they dont ever serve whip cream. Stick to classics and work it. Plus the entire staff is good looking which helps. And even better, dog friendly. If I lived here I would be here all the time with my dog.

Tasty chai tea latte, although not very hot. Good eclectic music on the overhead. Very friendly staff. Good wifi. Was there mid-day on a weekday, so it wasnt all that busy... Lots of tourist foot traffic.

Employee over charged me. I approached her that she charged me over what the sign says and she did not offer to give the right change or seem apologetic. She blamed it on the manager. Espresso was alright tho.

Liked the coffee! Sitting outside in the cool, drinking hot coffee. What could be better! They even roast their own coffee.

This has to be one of the best coffee shops in Carlsbad. They make very good coffee and offer V60. Also they have very nice atmosphere and plenty of places to read and/or hang out.

Staff is always friendly, coffee is great. Whenever we are in town we try to go as often as possible.

Cardamom latte was good. They have a La Marzocco espresso machine. Also, they offer Nitro cold brew.

Came here first for the winery, then came back for the coffee shop when we were touring around. They have the latte art and single origin beans. Theyve got a couple other non-coffee options in their fridge (kombucha, yerba mate, and apple juice). Its right next to Starbucks, but provide a much more friendly and local shop feel than Starbucks. If you enjoy coffee youll like this. Not for those seeking a frappuccino sugar drink with coffee.
