The pizza was great, the taco pizza (with picante sauce) was incredible! Haven’t been to a pizza inn in years and had to stop by, and it was close to my hotel. The customer service was really superb! If your from out of town, this is a great place to take your family at an affordable price.

Really amazing little pizza shack, went in with my fiance today 04.24.21. This was our first time eating here.They had inside dining, there was a couple of pizza that were made earlier it seems they were a little dry but not fully. While we were there they made a fresh batch of Pepperoni & Jalapeño pizza, Sausage w/ green chile deep dish pizza, cinnamon sticks, cinnamon filled little pockets. They also had a salad and pasta bar w/ toppings & dressings. Really great place! We were checked on periodically by which I believe to be the manager. She was very helpful & polite & invited us back. We will be returning. 🍕🍕🍕

Me and my husband had pizza and spaghetti, they were closing but they still happily took care of our order. The spaghetti was okay and hubby said pizza is good. We liked what we ordered, the sweet tea was freshly made. Will go again if we travel that way again!

Ordered a simple pizza, garlic bread and wings. The lady told me it’s gonna be 5 minutes. I know 30-45 mins fine, Waited for around 1 and half hour than one hour, and still got stale pizza. How is fresh pizza for 1 hr the wait supposed to crunchy. Supposed to be fresh garlic bread was crunchy. Can cook better than them !!! Wish there was 0 star rating.

My kids and I ordered pizza and a dessert pizza. They had it ready in 6 min and we all agreed both were the best pizza we have had in years. The ingredients were so fresh. I highly recommend this place to every pizza lovers.

Everytime I ordered cinnamon strombolis there is barley any filling in them when I ordered on 7/7/21 8:00pm I payed 19 dollars for something that wasnt even worth it I dont think Im going to be ordering again...

Because this is the buffet you wait just minutes before you start eating it has a relatively good salad bar most of the time, also the pizza selection is usually about 8 to 10 different flavors. Some of them are not as hot as others but they still are good and most of the time they do have some fresh ones that just come out the other. Today when I visited they also had barbecue rib and sausage links sliced. The taco pizza was especially nice also. If youre in a hurry this is absolutely the best place in Carlsberg to eat especially for the relatively low price.

Ordered through door dash so it was a bit expensive but the food was good. Garlic cheese bread and dessert were so good! Food was fairly quick too!

TERRIBLE are waitress was rude and we never got the pizza we asked for and we ordered cinnamon Strombolis to go HAD ZERO cinnamon in it.

Ordered two of their two topping special pizzas and was pretty disappointed. It may have been some of the worst pizza Ive ever had. Were staying in a hotel and didnt want leftovers but hate to waste food so my husband had to bribe our kids to finish it. The mushroom and green pepper pizza we ordered had about one mushroom and two to three green peppers per piece. Not to mention a ridiculous lack of cheese. Super bummed because we were really hungry after a day of hiking and wanted something that would hit the spot. Unfortunately, this missed the mark big time. ☹️

Ordered from a truckstop across the street for delivery and they happily obliged. Pizza and garlic knots were hot upon arrival. Pizza was tasty with an ample portion of toppings. Garlic knots were a tad over cooked and lacking of any real garlic flavor but, in a pinch....hit the spot! Staff, including delivery driver, were fantastic. Great deal for under $15 bucks 👌

The place was clean and inviting. The food was absolutely fantastic. The servers went out of their way for everyone in the restaurant. Marissa was smiling and helpful to every guest. She made you feel very welcome. It was my first visit and I will definitely be back.

I’m giving two stars just because the place is clean, but I’m not a fan of this facility. I came here at 5:30pm on a Monday and the parking lot was empty and I understand why. The pizza looked like it had been under the lamps for quite some time. The pasta was dry. The only thing that was remotely close to fresh was the salad bar. I will not be eating here again. The one across town is way better.

Make sure your hot and ready arnt 3 hrs old! Overpriced as well

Havent had Pizza Inn in ages since ours was closed back in the 80s and man this was such a delight to reminisce about my childhood, pizza was excellent, wait staff was super polite and constantly checking to see if we were enjoying our meal as well as suggesting new pizza. Whoever runs this PI is doing a heck of a job, the restaurant business could learn a lesson or two from this place. Thank you so much.

Great salad bar the buffet is good also. They have some unique specialty pizzas. They have never messed up my order on delivery.

Came in for lunch and had the buffet. Salad bar looked good and tasted good and the pizza was great fast food style pizza. Not just pepperoni and sausage here! Ive never had a baked potato pizza till today. Will probably be back soon.

Truck Driver! friendly highly recommend. Very friendly staff was willing to deliver to the pilot truckstop. The other 4 delivery places would not.

We were a party of 17 that walked in right off the street. The staff wasted no time in helping us out and setting up a space for us. The manager (owner?) was super accommodating to some dietary requests and the other employees made us feel very welcome. We ordered cheese, veggie, and green Chile pizzas (thin crust style) and the food was great. I definitely recommend this place if youre in Carlsbad and you want to feed your family with good food for a reasonable price.

2 hours waiting for food to never get to hotel. They even tantalized me by calling me 1hr 1/2 later to let me know not to give up hope. It will Be there if you believe. I guess thats what I get for giving local business a chance and forgoing the big delivery experts at Dominos. Oh well, probably for the best. Im to fat anyways.

We just moved here in town and decided to try this place... 1st of all... their sweet tea is AMAZING! Hands down! The food? Also amazing! The price is cheap too! And the restaurant is kept clean. I definitely recommend!

The pizza wasn’t just good, it was very good! Very tasty, perfect crust, the toppings were fresh and of high quality. And being Italian, grew up in NY, I know good pizza. I got my fill and skated away for under $10. Too bad I’m from out of town or I would be a regular.

Every time I go, I enjoy it more and more. Love the variety in pizza and the attentiveness of the waitress. Very enjoyable atmosphere and will definitely be returning and highly recommending.

I love Pizza Inn for the most part, but, half the employees werent wearing masks, and those that were, were wearing them incorrectly (under their nose).

First time coming here. Heard a lot about the place. We called in our oder. The person taking the order acted like she didnt really like her job. When we went to get our food we went in side. We was told the dinning room was closed. I said I was here to pick up a order. The lady said well you will need to come to the drive-thru. We walked to the window. Stood there in the window for 10+ minutes. No one would come help us. They clearly saw us standing there. We got in our vehicle and drove to the window and then someone helped us. The pizza was good. The customer service was horrible. Want to try them again. Hope for a better customer service experience.

We ate dinner there earlier this evening August 1st 2018. We were welcomed upon entrance. The waitress acknowledged us immediately. Our drinks were served in a timely manner and refilled throughout the evening. We chose the buffet. The salad bar was fresh and clean. The pizza and pasta were hot and fresh. The desert bar was delicious. As there were plenty of desert choices Sam brought out a new one as we departed. He noticed my interest and surprisingly boxed three slices for us!!! Thank you all for making our meal delightful!

The food, the server and the prices here were great! We had the buffet and it had pasta, pizza, salad and desserts on it. Including drinks it was only $9 per person. Definitely going back whenever I go through town again.

I just had a really bad day at work and ate here unexpectedly. Every staff member was kind and courteous. Really brightened the end of my dark day.Pizza was good, but the service was exemplary. Would come back here for the experience alone.

Never tried pizza inn before so we gave it a shot. Turned out very good, we ordered for delivery and it arrived soon then expected which was nice. I would recommend trying them out.

The time on Google says they close at 10 but they are closed before that. 9:40 and it’s a no go. I’ve been a restaurant mgr before so I know about closing early if no business but don’t try to tell me I read wrong. But I am in Carlsbad NM.

Ive never eaten in so I cant comment. Weve picked up pizza there a couple of times when we were rushed and just needed to eat. I do give their their thin crust 2 thumbs up. Add some veggies and its even somewhat healthy.

Fresh pizza great salad bar. Waiter needs to learn how to ask everyone what they needed not just wait to be told by us.

Good buffet!

Staff was friendly, but restaurant building feels dated. Food was average, at best, and there were a lot of flies inside the eating area/salad bar. The restroom was clean.

A Pizza Inn buffet sounds good for today. They always have a great selection of pizza and pasta in addition to the best salad bar in town. But on Sundays, they also Short BBQ ribs and Green chili chicken enchiladas available from 11-2. A great family meal value for after church. You think Ill be there today? You bet!!

Pizza here is tasty and reasonably priced. We didnt order the buffet because the pizza on it looked dried out and like it had been there for quite some time. The pizza we ordered tasted good and the price was very reasonable. Only problem was the sweet tea, it tasted like the machine (either ice or drinks) hadnt been cleaned in a while.

We ordered a chicken alfredo pizza and pizza rolls. It took 40 min like they said it would. Great timing. We recieved the pizza and it was cold and tasted horrible. If you want better pizza go to Little Ceasars. Worst pizza I have ever had.

Ive worked here for two years now and Im still not tired of the food lol. If you wanna try something besides the pizza (which is good on its own), then I cannot recommend the meatball sub enough.

Good salad bar. Variety of pizzas. Wait staff keeps your drinks refilled. All for a very reasonable price. Wall TV carries games but volume is down. Arcade games for the kids in back room. Meeting rooms for rent. All-around excellent choice for families and groups.

Really good pizza on the buffet! Although, a dinner rush caused a shortage of hot food. I was getting our food to go. The pizza was really quite good and the wings were too. The dinning room was a mess and the one family was leaving. There was only one waitress to clean it up. She said she was working a double and will do the same thing tomorrow. When I ordered our food, they never suggested the specials they had that would have dropped my bill by about$5 and given me a larger pizza.

It’s okay. The natives think it’s pretty awesome, guess they don’t get out much. Salad bar had hair and looked like some crumbled up cockroaches in the pudding, idk. I’m just saying I won’t be eating here again. I’ll eat my pizza in Texas, cleaner and better.

Stopped by with coworkers for lunch. Didnt eat there myself because I had my own lunch but 4 of my coworkers had the buffet. All of them said the food was delicious, but the service, absolutely wonderful! Buffet and drink is around $11. Place has been remodeled.

Not sure about you, but when I go to a pizza place I like pizza...you know Supreme, pepperoni, meat lovers or veggie something like that...Ive been to this place a few times and their pizza is stuff like taco, hamburger, loaded baked potato and other crazy things. Dont get me wrong, you got to tip your hat on how well they pull off the flavor, its just not my cup of tea...or slice of pie if you will

Probably the worst pizza ever!! First time here and we walk in and ALL the tables are dirty. We cleaned our own table and sat down. We ordered 18 wings along with the Buffett and wow! The pizza was awful, the drinks were flat (had about 2 pieces of ice in it), and our wings were yuk! Then paid $55 to just leave hungry. Wouldn’t recommend it at all!

Bourbon Chicken BBQ Pizza was Amazing, but I had to sell a kidney to pay for my buffet and drink.

Ive been to this place once before about a year ago. The food was good then and was still good today. But great flaming flamingos the staff was very off their game. I popped in around 730 or and no one even went to my table to get me a drink or see what I wanted to do. After sitting for a minute or two I finally gave up and decided to go to the buffet table. Boy what a joke that was! No pizza was on the buffet, the salad bar area was a little sparse and the ranch dressing I wanted required to scrap off the bottom to get any. I finished my salad and went to the buffet to grab a new plate....of which there wasnt any plates. Not even a salad plate to grab a slice of pizza which finally came out probably some 15 to 25 minutes after I sat down eating my salad. The pizza was great....all 3 types that I ate. They had 4 types, but I cant eat jalpenos as they really wreck my mouth and stomach. Sadly I stuck around for the better part an hour and 15 minutes waiting to see if their pizza bar would get some additional company, but that never happened. Oh I did eventually get that drink I wanted....after I was almost finished with my first plate of pizza, some 20 to 40 minutes into my dining experience.Now Im not one to complain often on public forums like this one, but this was by far some of the worst service I have ever had. Thats saying a lot since I live out of hotels with my job and I get to try and visit a lot of places.What was bothersome the most was that the staff seemed to be to busy to even bother cleaning their dining room. Pretty much every table there had dirty plates and cups, and when the staff was milling around they didnt even bother to swing by a table and clean on up. I was there for over an hour and at one point was the only one there and only once did I see one staff member clean off a table.....a SINGLE table.This place seems like a decent sort, but honestly you need to either focus on being a buffet restaurant or a take/carryout place because it seems you arent well staffed enough to maintain both. You might have great pizza at decent prices for the buffet, but when your customers come in, sit down and then realize theres no pizza and then leave you have an issue. That damages your image and shows the customer(s) that experienced it that you are dont either care or are too thin on staff to provide a positive experience.My conclusion: If you can deal with not being noticed, few varieties of pizza and want to eat a lot salad, totally worth the 8.60 with tax.....and if youre me and you chickened out you throw in a 1.40 tip and remember that next time the 10 dollar dinner box from pizza hut is a better buy.

They remodeled the restaurant. Thats the only reason I gave them 3 stars. Pizza is old dry and bad tasting. Girls are rude and look like they are easily bothered when you ask for a refill.

This pizza inn is much smaller than the one on the other side of town. For a sit down and eat I’d recommend going to the other one. Slow to put out pizzas and slower service at this one. Still like the pizza though!
