This is a great find for people looking to lead a healthy holistic life style. There is a limited selection of vitamins, minerals and tonics for health conscious in Carlsbad. Staff is very helpful and knowledge about their inventory. Parking is a little tight but never had trouble finding a spot.

Knowledgeable and helpful staff who actually greet you when you walk in! Also a wide selection of products, including Keto friendly items which I was thrilled to see. Prices are a little higher than big box stores but that’s to be expected since Healthy Choices is small & locally owned, so I don’t mind. Will definitely be back 👍

Great to have it here, I wish they had some organic produce for the days I dont want to go in Albertsons. The prices can be high on some things but fair on others.

Owners knowledge of the products is fantastic! Owner, and employees are pleasant, kind and just nice to be around. Very helpful.

Its honestly incredible Carlsbad has a health food store this great. I am truly surprised and delighted every time I go in.

They don’t just have pill bottles, they also have a decent selection of food in the back. They were nice and gave me some free ham that was getting ready to expire in a couple of days

I want to love it here because they have such a great selection for such a small store.However they follow me (and most other customers) around the store like were known thieves. Personally, I am a law abiding citizen and do not steal so I should not be treated like this. I hate being followed by multiple associates in a store with 5 isles. There are cameras everywhere, with which I have no problem, but I do not need to be followed too. Its hard to even read a label when you are asked if you need help every time you look at something for more than 3 seconds.I will continue to do my shopping online for these products because I do not support a business that treats me like a thief until I hand over my credit card at the register.

Absolutely love this store!! Locally owned and awesome customer service.Freida and her staff have anyways helped me figure out a plan for several different needs for myself and my family. You never feel pressured to buy anything, but you always feel like you made the right purchase when you walk out.They have a large selection of organic & gluten free foods...the first in carlsbad that I know of.Freida recently advised me on some issues I’m having with weight loss. She (and if not her, her daughter and her staff care the same) listened to me intently. She recognized some outter symptoms I’m having and asked me questions. I had some things in my hand basket that she said you don’t need that...come look at this. She spent time with me, listening to my concerns and fully explaining to me the products I was buying. The sale for her is not the goal, you can tell after all these years they are still super concerned with helping peoples body function better, feel better, and maintain a healthy lifestyle using the items you purchase & what you do after you walk out the door as a tool. I’m so very grateful for our health food store.Thank you Freida! You and your husband, and now your daughter, have created a safe place to go seek healthy & homeopathic help. God bless you!
