The food quality and selection of The Fresh Market is hard to match; I have been shopping there since they opened.Unfortunately, I am just now realizing their offers can be deceiving (to say the least). Yesterday I bought two packages of tamales, and the offer indicated Buy1, get 1 free, after getting home, I realized they charged for both of them.Today I went back to buy something else and explained the error, but they stated it was no error, that the one free is already in the package since the package contains two tamales. I didnt want to expend any more of my time, in a non-sense argument, but I believe it would also apply to the bottle of juice I bought, which says 4 servings per container, but they dont advertise it as Buy 1, get 3 free.Highly disappointing to learn their poor customer-service practices.

This grocery store is great. We usually stop by for quick trips, Thanksgiving meal, and other special sales stuff. Location is great, employees are always friendly.

Very organized. Very high quality food and services. I wished they made their canolli with 100% mascarpone cream. It tastes like mix mascarpone with ricotta.

What a wonderful store. Shelves full of fresh produce, deli items, meat and seafood. Helpful staff and the friendliest checkout. Ill be going back again and again.

Sophia, the girl in bakery. July 29,2021, 1:55pm. She ignored me for 5 minutes. Another employee walked up and started asking her about bread prices. She walked over to help him, still ignoring me. I said, excuse me... you are helping another employee, before a paying customer. The other employee apologized and left. She then came to assist me. She was very rude and unprofessional. I spend an enormous amount of money in your store and I feel insulted!!!

I love the Fresh departments in this store. The staff is very engaged and friendly. Great location for other shopping also. Prices are very competitive for a high end experience with amazing food selections.

Fresh Market plain cheese is very good, but they sold us frozen one. We are trying to cut the cake with a plastic knife in the their indoor patio. The plastic knife broke in half. The person works at bakery section should tell us it is frozen. It was one of those experiences. But somehow she gave us two pieces of small chocolate cakes as an apology.

Great curbside pickup for groceries. Excellent meats, produce, and specialty foods.

Five-star rating means five-star service, care & quality. Earn an extra star here are a few things you can do. Have a more efficient checkout process. When you see people standing in line and employees do not open a new lane - Thats not offering your customer efficiency or 5 star service. Not offering customers sanitation stations when entering Market, in produce, meat departments where people touch what you eat, or in a few walkways, & check out. Having employees touching & pulling down masks 😷 to talk to customers and each other defeats the purpose of wearing a mask. Five-star service means caring and protecting your customers! Thanks

Always nice and clean, friendly help, lots of choices. Advent Calendars are now available. The whole place is eye candy, for sure. Lovely deli choices. Fun holiday choices showing up. Even some for cats and dogs!! Lots of heathy choices of nuts, etc. Lots of seasonings and herbs, and spice choices!!❤️

The store is fantastic in every way, from the freshness of the produce, to the quality of meats, to the helpfulness of staff.

It’s a little more expensive than your average grove store, but well worth it. And, I have to applaud them for their careful bagging and overall service.

I stopped in to pick up Christmas candy and saw all the beautiful poinsettias! The lady working in the floral department was so helpful and informative. She helped me choose this beautiful poinsettia tree which I absolutely love. Susan not only bundled it up so it wouldn’t get damaged on the way home, but gave me great instructions on its care. She went over and beyond and I really appreciate all of her help. Great experience!!!

The little Big meals are fantastic! Always quality food and inexpensive.

Best time to come is before all the craziness of 3pm onwards. Great deals, just have to look out for them. Honestly one of the best things about this store is the variety of fresh fruit. Its also all kinds of fruit! Ive had more exotic fruit here than any place else.

I cant recommend this store based of the price alone. I saw several brand name items priced 2x more than Walmart. Exact same item 2x the price? They do have some items other stores dont carry, but its simply not worth the price.

Nice place. Seems like a Whole Foods competitor. Nice selection of organic foods. The packaged spices were surprising inexpensive. A great selection of bulk nuts and snacks. Bulk coffee. Wonderful cake selection. Haven’t seen anything like that since I left Tokyo. Overall prices seem very reasonable.

Good market, for unique items. Not for name brand shopping if your looking for those items.

Best grocery and best atmosphere, shopping here is stress free. I look forward to checking out with Gary, he is the nicest guy ever, always a smile! Only place for coffee, and little big meals are an incredible value. All around fav.

I stopped in to pick up the special for the day. A freshly roasted whole chicken for a mere $5.00. A great deal for a premium roasted chicken As always they didnt scimp on the size either, this was a big chicken. While there I also visited the deli where the always friendly staff hooked me up with antibiotic and hormone free ham and cheese. Absolutely wonderful!

This store is super nice. Produce is excellent, maybe a bit more pricey than other stores. The deli and bakery are always well stocked when I am in. The staff is very friendly.

Cute but expensive and I bought some naked juice and I read that the label on one expires today after being with me for two days (I have a receipt to prove date of purchase) and so I check my other to see how fast I need to drink the other one and it expired 2 weeks ago... Just shop at the other health foods store up the street. Same deal but without the expired items.

This is one of my favorite places to shop; great coffee, produce, fresh meats, bakery goods, etc. I’ve moved farther away from the store but make a point to drive over a few times a month to pickup a several items.

Excellent pre-prepared food items. Specialty foods, awesome bakery. Meat case and butchers are awesome to work with. They really know their stuff.

Really gone downhill since founders sold out to Wall Street investment firm. Used to have better quality produce, better meat/fish selection, better deli, and hard-to-find things across all departments of the store when compared to a typical, chain-discount grocery store. Fresh Market (FM) was known for high prices, but the better choices made up for the cost. Not any more, each time we visit the store, we find yet another unique or interesting item has been removed from the selection and replaced with a common item available at any mass market chain. It is worth noting that FM has kept the high price. Sad to see what was such a great store with unique and interesting items sell out to mass market tactics and boring, main-stream selection. Great quality meats, poultry and fish as well as the many specialty items you wont find at other grocers.

Very positive, a little low on product at meat counter,but Sunday night 6 pm its somewhat understandable.Would like to see you buy local products again. I dont have time to drive downtown etc to buy local so this would help a lot!!!!

I used to love and shop this place. The Little Big meal, especially the Taco meal, have been my favorite. However, I just got back from the place. The meal this time is just not so valuable as it just got launched. There was a box of cookie or pie when it first came out. Then the dessert turned into a pint of corn salad. Then it turned into a lemon. A LEMON!!! As a loyal customer, I am disappointed.......

Worst job Ive ever had.

Even though I prefer the 116th street location, the employees here are better! The meat and deli department are awesome, approachable, and very willing to help. I just wish this location was a little bigger and easier to navigate.Produce is always fresh. Tuesday is discounted chicken breast and ground beef. I have seen this place sell out of items on busy days so go early in the day to beat the after work rush.

Really love their flavored coffee and breads! Everytime I buy coffee my car always smells good with coffee. So see, how fresh it is!

Love Fresh Market. Good service, produce, flowers, deli and meats. Not many national brands but a more unique inventory of items you may not be able to find other places.

Great deli and meat seafood produce

This was one of my all time favorite stores. I’m extremely disappointed in the quality of meat and service in the store. Went to pick up chicken and got it home and it was rotten. Decided to go back and try again, unfortunately the meat department staff is horrible about waiting on customers. Waited 20 minutes and no help, after the meat staff looked me right in my face and didn’t come out to help. This makes me sad because I’ve been coming here for years. Time to move on to another store that cares. Please hire people and management that cares.

The store was clean and well stocked. The staff were good.

Three strikes, youre out. I cant reward poor service by spending money at this store anymore. Am utterly speechless as to why there has not been anyone at or near the counter when I try to buy fresh pasta or Italian specialty deli meats. Sick of looking for someone and beg them to find someone, anyone to slice me up a pound of hot capicola or mortadella. Its a joke. Put the damn product with the other deli meats where you have numerous associates standing around doing nothing. The counter is way too high anyway. If there was somebody there, cant see them and they cant see me. Guess you dont really want to sell the high end/price product. You probably wont carry it anymore because some bean counter in the corporate office will read a report and see that it isnt selling. Tell him the real reason why! If you tried you could quadruple the sales....just have someone there to help or move it to the other deli counter. Its not that complicated. As for me, I am done wasting my time with retailers that cant figure simple service issues out and dont seem to care.

I used to shop here all the time but honestly I like fresh thyme better now. I do still think theyve got the best atmosphere out of any grocery store chain though and they do have great selections and helpful staff.

This is the second Fresh Market that did not have pecan encrusted trout. Disappointed. Cumberland & 116th store is closer, but they told me they wont be carrying trout anymore.
