Their deli is very nice. The pizza bar is truly out of this world they have some really really good pizzas. Theyre dairy selection is nice. Customer service is always friendly. There is plenty of well-lit parking spaces close to the store. Theyve got handicap access and quite a few handicap parking spots close to the door. The fresh seafood and butcher section is nice. The butcher on duty is always willing to give you a specialty cut of meat. I enjoy it I go there fairly often

HT... my experience is finding well stocked (on their behalf when goods/products are available), beautiful produce, clean, organized stores! Customer service is top-notch! Enjoy interacting with cashiers. Well trained staffs!! Always ck dates on dairy items. 😉☺️

Harris teeter is usually good. As a student on a budget, it is a bit pricey, but the discounts with the VIP card do help.

Store is nice a little small but convent get subs a lot there decent for the price today it was not it was slapped together and done with no effort I asked for a little bit of mayo and they gave a lot of horseradish didnt realize till I got home stupid. Ive had subs from that employee as well as the other one so this was probably just an off day I have had probably like 100 subs or so over the past 3 years or so there genarly very good(marquees is the employ)

I just got home from buying some bananas. My receipt says that they weighed, and I was charged for, 3.33 pounds. They actually weigh 2 pounds and 10.5 ounces, or 2.65 pounds.

Went to this store today to purchase a salad. No salads. Went to the deli instead to buy a sandwich and the line’s twenty feet long. On the way out I see all the registers are lined up to the food isles. Even the self checkout. I only get an hour of for lunch I can’t waste it here anymore.

Harris Teeter stores are always well run and their fresh vegetable produce is really good.

Theres nothing wrong with this store, and the employees have always been fine. Its just very popular since its in town and is a little small, so maintaining social distance is very difficult (the aisles are narrow, etc). Even during off hours, its hard to stay away from people like we should be doing.

It had a deli that made subs; thats all I was looking for!!Although, they also had sushi, and a big pizza/etc center! This Teet didnt look like much from the outside, but it actually had just as many of the luxurious stations as any Harris Teeter Ive ever been in..!

Dear managers, please listen to my advice. The Harris teeter up the road has Organic Harris Teeter Oatmeal in multiple flavors. I usually travel an extra 10 miles to that store since you just have the plain version. Considering your location and your particular target market, I believe you could make more sales by offering the full line of organic Harris teeter oatmeal. Even if that means getting rid of the non organic Harris teeter brand oatmeal to free up shelf space. I promise you will not regret it. Also, those guys making subs today were the real deal. I like how a second person jumped right in to help clear the line and I like how the lids were kept on the containers as well as the cleanliness of the staff. I noticed they put on fresh gloves to make my sandwich and that made me feel confident that I made the right decision. Those sandwich makers have a future as bright as the heavens.

Good quality, clean, some items a little expensive, but I do 80% of my food shopping there. Usually their store brand is just as tasty and costs less.

Great food super fresh meat and fish market. Bakery is very good. Prices very reasonable. If you need help the employees are happy to help you. Items are very easy to fine. Cashier are very helpful and works to keep the shoppers moving its my one and only grocery store

The big HT in University Plaza supplies foods for families as well as students. Lots of international foods available. A Starbucks is attached to the store, a positive for coffee drinkers.Its clean, brightly lit despite using energy saving lights.Good variety, excellent produce.

$$ Great supermarket! Excellent price on most everything, wines, fresh produce, dairy and meats, and great selection. They are paying more attention to natural/organic/vegan products than before. Good value and customer service is tops. Weaver Street Market is located on the opposite side of Carr Mill and competes with Harris Teeter BUT.. some products are unnecessarily overpriced. Harris Teeter is still a great value.

It is a samller Teeter, lots of students. A few of the folks behind the deli counter can be honestly, down right unplesant. If it werent for the convenience, id rather shop at the Teeter off MLK.

Like this location and the service. But, not there pizza service. It has been three times in a row that they did not have our pizza made by the time they said they would. One of the tie we ordered online and got an email saying the pizza is ready. Then got to store and found out they haven’t even made it yet. Just tried to let their manager know the situation. His reasons includes “short on staff” “ some staff left and they dont have new people yet. “ etc. Feel like they totally expect me to wait another 15-20 min in the store for the pizza should have be ready.

Sad to see this isnt open 24 hours a day anymore. A true icon, we barely deserve a grocery this good. Elite level

I found a few items here that are even cheaper than at Food Lion! Organic produce section could be bigger/better stocked (maybe work with local farms? Hint, hint HT!), and thats the only reason for 4 and not 5 stars. Up-to-date equipment with motion-sensor lighting in the coolers that brighten as you pass by. Way to conserve your power bill, Harris! Friendly staff, quality products.

Terrible customer service. Hope they can train their employees better, so they won’t be rude to customers. Never had a problem with a grocery store’s cashier, but I guess it happens. Next time though, please treat your customers with respect and just do your job.

Bought $60 “worth” of groceries last night and was charged over $90. The cashier rang me up for eleven containers of lettuce instead of the one in my cart. When I found this on the receipt, the manager refunded me for all eleven, acting like he was doing me a favor for a free lettuce. Big whoop. If Harris Teeter makes an error and overcharges a customer, the entire amount, PLUS the entire amount again, should be refunded, as a meaningful apologetic gesture. Next time I am overcharged at any Harris-Teeter, I will get a refund on everything I bought during that visit and take my business elsewhere. That is my “overcharge policy” going forward. FUHT.

Carrboro HT Deli sub-making Crew, I cannot hold back my disappoinment in your specific department any longer. Compared to your neighbors at the Eastgate University Plaza, my experience for yall at Carrboro has been consistently embarrassing. Thank goodness for Harris Teeters superior ingredients for providing Nommie breads (even those the loaves here arent nearly as satisfying as other HTDeli locals) and Boars Head meats and cheeses to always save the day! However, from now on, Im risking the extra miles and running-into-coworkers-arkwardness, and going to a neighborhooding HT for my subs.

This was fantastic, the manager/cashier at self checkout during our stay inland from Florence was engaging and helpful wish Id have caught her name, was a very sweet lady that worked the evening shift on 9/14-9/17. We are from coastal GA and she was very great conversation and provided us information about moving there ^_^.

This is a nice location of Harris Teeter though given that it is next to Carr Mill Mall the parking lot can be very busy to try and navigate. Still recommend for grocery needs.

The store and staff are awesome. the prices and parking are why I do a 4. It is typical HT pricing and hte parking lot is a madhouse at night. The produces is typically good and hte store is well lit. plus great price on cut flowers!

Bought a piece of pizza in the deli but it must have been there awhile. I got the Italian sausage but didnt have much flavor.The craft beer selection however was excellent.

This place it pretty great. They just renovated and offer lots of different products and at great prices. The self checkout lanes a good and whenever Ive needed customer service, the people are very helpful.

The food here is fine, its just crowded and tiny as far Harris teeters typically go. You never know when youre gonna get hit by a rogue cart or get blocked from going down an aisle because two people decided to chat. By the time your stress levels from inside the store are high, you need to navigate the parking lot on the way out...

Tons of great staff members. Low rating because this Harris Teeter seems to price gouge even more than the usual Harris Teeter. Ive also had issues at self checkout; my produce weighed in double while checking the weight in the produce isle vs. on the register. I thought it may be a mistake, tried a different one, same issue. Exactly double. Went and reweighed the food, and my first measurement was correct. Maybe something fishy going on?

Its a little more cramped than most. Great pizza deals on Mondays though! Great spot to do a quick in and out late night shopping trip. No cash back after 10 or 11pm though.

Its a nice Harris Teeter for quick food runs and for lunch/dinner. It has a pizza counter, a nice salad bar open till 9pm, a bakery, deli, and seafood/meat counter. Decent alcohol selection. The only problem is that all that stuff is in a relatively small store so the food selection outside of those areas is limited compared to most Harris Teeters. You usually have a choice between generic or ridiculous high-end brands. Nothing in-between. Like most Harris Teeters if it isnt on sale with your VIC card than it is probably too expensive.

The pizza bar 🤤 Every Monday all pizzas are $7.99 and theres a pizza of the month that is $7.99 Every. Day. The pizzas are 16, the dough has a chewy texture, and the toppings are fresh. Sometimes they are a bit inconsistent, but never enough to make me stop ordering ❤️

Nice clean store, well organized, good produce.Nasty, surely staff that dont seem to want to help at the self checkout. I was visiting my son, and was at the store around 10am. Lots of people with full carts at the only open check out, so I used the self checkout. I had picked up a local milk with no bar code. The machine did not have it programmed into it. I hit the assist button several times, and waited over 5 minutes while the lady who was supposed to be working the help area, (Polly, I believe), just stood and watched me. She did notice her male friend who came into buy beer, and chatted him up. I approached her and politely ask for assistance with the milk code. She never moved, or apologized for ignoring me, and put the code into her register, and then pranced off! She was unkempt looking and very rude!The customer service counter was busy, so I attempted to call from my car several times, but they did not pick up the phone. Im one for local flavor, and was certainly not overdressed, or looked pretentious in my gardening jeans/blouse, and no jewelry. This kind of rudeness is uncalled for, and certainly not the norm at the other stores in town, or the farmers market!

One of my favorite places to get groceries as a student. They offer a small discount for being a student as well as insane sales through email (Buy 2 get 3 free coffee!!!) Only complaint is that the produce is occasionally lacking or of lower quality than other places, but most of the time its good.

Consistent 10+ minute wait at SELF checkout every day. They have 2 self checkout stations but only open one at a time. The only time I havent seen a line is at 4am.Honestly, the 2 minute drive to Food Lion down the road will save you time and money. Never had to wait long to checkout there because they are adequately staffed.

Grocery shopping, found everything I needed; good customer service

Ive gone to this supermarket 3, maybe 4 times a week for something like 25 years. In that time they have eliminated many things I relied on in my cooking, spices, sauces, non-HT brands. And now they are an HT shop nearly exclusively, less selection than ever. It was a sad day when this chain was bought by Kroger; it IS Kroger now, only with HT brands slapped on. Peak hours are chronically understaffed, the employees are often overworked and stressed out. After all these years, youd think that the employees would recognize someone who is in the store nearly every other day. There is ONE cashier who does. I am a friendly, outgoing person, yet Im invisible. This tells me one thing: most of the people who work there hate it there. Yet, the closest alternative - a nearby Food Lion - is too terrible to contemplate going to. Too bad for me, amirite?

Pretty average supermarket. Beer selection could be improved. Produce prices arent that exciting.

Its a Harris Teeter. So basically its your standard mid level grocery store. As far as exotic products go, they have a pretty lame organic produce section, but they do have a variety of dairy free yogurt/ice creams, a decent selection of vegetarian proteins, and a large beer selection. I go here because theyre one of the only places that carries my favorite kitty litter. Thats basically all I buy here. I buy my food at the local co-op grocery next door... Weaver Street Market.

It is a Harris Teeter and gets the job done. Bathrooms are a total disaster area though so I recommend avoiding them if you can. Sub line is long and never moves too quickly but other than that it is exactly what you would expect from a big box grocery store.

Harris Teeter is always a good option. Its on the more expensive end of the grocery store scale, but it come with quality. I really recommend them for catering Deli sandwiches and vegetable platters. VERY AFFORDABLE CATERING.

Good grocery store, but sadly lacking in quality produce. I shop here often, but Ive noticed a drop in the quality of the product. There was a sale on grape tomato clamshells and they all had spoiled tomatoes with juice dropping out of the boxes. In general you need to dig through to get fresh items. Would help to have more whole foods and less junk food, too.

Very poor selection. Unknowledgeable staff. I asked, Do you carry nail clippers? The clerk didnt know. I then asked if he had another fairly normal item (a kitchen gadget). He was pretty sure they had it, but didnt know which aisle number it was in. So he had to walk me over to the aisle.Then when I tried to check out, the ham which was on sale for $1.99 per pound and said so (albeit discreetly) on the tag, didnt ring up for the right price. I had to go back to the meat case and take a picture of the sale sign and show it to the uscan cashier who had to call his manager over. The manager then tried to tell me I was wrong.

Local Harris Teeter that is a bit small, but good if youre a student nearby and dont feel like driving too far or having to ask a friend for a ride to the grocery store. For this reason though, it can get very crowded on weekends and a bit after 5pm.

This location tends to be pretty busy. Prices vary greatly on any given week and the sales seem random. Service is hit and miss. One bagger accidentally ripped my bread open so got me a new one but smushed it into a bag with other groceries. Not cool.
