First. Im happy to be renting a washer and dryer cause its a nice convenience from having to go to the laundromat. And the people were super nice. But the deal is never as good as they advertise. And the hoops you have to go through to get it are ridiculous. 3 references. All of your life information. Plus they make a KILLING off the amount of money they get. Its at least 1.5 times the payout amount if not double. You have to go on auto payments. They really frown about paying in store. The installers didn’t remove all the transport clips on the washer and it almost got messed up. Didn’t have some of the tubes to use the other washer features so oh well guess you pay for something you dont use. I had to install the feet on the dryer myself. And they send auto texts all the time with deals and availability of stuff that isn’t true. So opt out of those lol. And the emails cause it’ll be non-stop.
Shawn is a great manager! All I have to do is say Shawn this is Eric and he knows who it is! Ive never met a more accommodating manager!
Have been a customer here for years. The management staff recently changed. But new management staff is great. Way better than the old staff. Shawn is the manager and he does everything he can to take really good care of his customers and keeps you informed on what is going on with your items.
Rent a recliner from this store ans it had bed bugs. Called to inform and was told it came from me. DO NOT RENT FROM THEM.

Sean answers the phone almost every time I call and even without meeting me knows me by name. He always works with me and gets me great deals. RAC needs more like him!!!
You need to fire Thomas!!! He is a horrible member of staff and hung up on me. He made me feel uncomfortable and was just the worst. I was going to spend so much money with my purchases but because of him I will never!! He lied about prices, he didnt like anything I said, and was exceptionally rude. I felt like I was talking to a scam artist and it made it feel more like it when he hung up on me for no reason
I rented through them and back when destiny worked there, it was a great staff and she was amazing this was about 2 years ago. Idk if she’s still there but I had a good experience with delivery, it was late and not on the time said but still delivered same day. Pickup of course they were there early to get there stuff but when you need it at a time it’s at there convenience. Other than that, they’re helpful in store and over the phone and they do work with you on payments if you had a good history with them. Don’t expect them to give you some leeway when you’re not paying on time every time.
THE WORST PLACE EVER! I made the stupid decision to rent to own furniture & NEVER AGAIN! After submitting an inquiry online they literally blow your phone up while youre at work...so I finally decided to stop by and follow through with an application on Monday. Spoke with Angelina, who I have never met someone so incompetent in my life. Nothing but air upstairs with this one. Literally did my whole application in about 10 minutes, Angelina informed me that delivery would be either Thursday, if someone falls through but if not would be Friday.While at work on Wednesday 3 days later....she was blowing up my supervisors cell phone to verify my employment. They literally will STALK your references up to 3-4 times a day during business hours. After sending them all their pertinent information to fulfill a lease.....example - lease, pay stubs, qualified references, etc. As of Friday morning the day of delivery mind you, I call to confirm and this manager who cant even manage her thoughts, informs me she cant release my order because she hasnt heard back from 2 out of my 5 references. Then she stumbles over her own words, will tell you one thing then its something else. Then the manager Hector is even more incompetent than her. Literally dont even bother with this place. No one has any idea how to process orders, they literally will call your references to the point its embarrassing, they dont follow through on anything they say. Wasted a whole week planning to have someone available to be at my house and have furniture delivered and now back to square one. If youd like your employer to be harassed during business hours as well as your close friends then by all means sign up! Nothing worse than wasted time.
Currently renting the S10 from this locatio . I told them when I made the agreement that it was for Bi-weekly. They made it weekly and showed up at my house when I wasnt home I made a payment and they told me they fixed the issue but a week later theyre calling my references and showing up at home again. Made another payment online and its saying I have to pay again in three days. I will be contacting customer service and reporting this.i Have been a customer for years at this location. Whats going on guys? Your about to lose a good customer

The service here is the best. Also 90 days same as cash will save you money if you shop smart. If anything happens to your item they offer a solution. I got a 2013-dryer for $150!! :-) love this place!!

Ive been here several times and every time Jason helps me I always get what I need! I was being a picky little princess and he went the extra mile to find me the exact bedroom set it wanted. LOL Jason even delivered my furniture and placed it exactly where I wanted it! Thank you Jason, you have great customer service skills!
The reviews here are from 11 MONTHS AGO..... take note that there is new management here and they will hassle you AFTER youve given them money. We came in, filled in the application, and paid the $130 upfront. The next day we get phone calls from each person we put down on the application as References asking why Rent a Center is calling and harassing them, asking a bunch of personal questions about me. So be ready for that.....Then they lie and say they cant verify my employment when my boss told me out of his own mouth that he spoke to them and verified to them that I am employed. Theyll act nice to you at first, but as soon as you give them cash they try to find any reason not to approve you and try to keep a portion of your money, we were NOT having that. We went and got ALL OF OUR money back and went over to Aarons Furniture and got approved SAME DAY and delivery SAME DAY, and ended up with a much better quality sectional sofa.If I were you go to Aarons, the quality of the furniture and products there are MUCH better.
Unprofessional and unorganized. Made promises to pick up something for me and couldnt keep it and tried to blame me somehow for it lol 😂 needless to say imagine what theyd do if they actually got your money. And on top of that one manager said one thing and the other has a whole different set of rules.....once the one who made the promise was called out by the main manage she lies and tells her she told me something different to cover herself!! Lol all they did was lose my money and hopefully anyone who reads this. Good luck doing business like that!
Best staff. They always offer the best deals and the lowest prices. If they find an item thats better and cheaper than what you currently have they will offer that to you just to help you get the better price.
This place was once managed by Frenchesica which was a phenomenal edition to this company store which is located in Casselberry off 436 next to publix. Im off out of city for work. I call to let the store know I was coming in before 7pm on Friday so I can pay the two weeks that I owe in full the new manager gets on the phone. With no customer service skills and is completely rude talking over me as though I have no reason to talk. With a massive attitude I have bought multiple things from this store. The manager then says shes demanding i pay the two weeks i owe and she wont take any other payment unless its a two weeks payment which means i pay the two weeks i owe and two weeks for next payment so there charging me for 4 weeks in a two day period yet this company advertises you can by weekly two weeks whichever is more convenient for the customer. An I have been a longtime customer that had spent thousands of dollars at this location to be spoken too as though this company doesnt go through proper training to go over customer service skills with there employees to show them how to speak to there valued customers. For her to be working at a sales / customer service atmosphere and be a rude condescending person that claims shes the store manager. Is a very sad that shes representing your company that way. I will be looking into filing a formal complaint. Because I would hate to think this company allows there employees to bully there customers this way. But something needs to be done about this company and they way they train there employees.
Great place to get your household items. A bit pricey, but you will get what you for a fraction of a big deposit.
Most inconsiderate customer service i have ever seen in my life coming from someone who has worked in customer service for 7 years. First off i had to have a c section with my child and was hospitalized for 3 weeks after because both me and my child almost lost our lives. While in the hospital i contracted the store to let them know what was going on and was told by the guy that i needed my boyfriend husband or whatever to make the payment for me. Would be nice if such a person existed being as i conceived my child under harsh circumstances. Then about a month ago my Grandmother passed away and i had to rush out of state to plan her funeral and handle what was going to happen with all of her things being as she has no other family who had the time our knowledge of what to do with her belongings and while dealing with this i contacted the store to let them know what was going on and that i had left my card in Florida, even after telling them i was trying to plan a funeral for my Grandmother and having a family member pay my balance at the time i told them the date that i would be back in florida and started getting phone calls 4 days before the date i had told them about how i needed to make a payment immediately or my contract would be cancelled and they would just consider their losses and cut all ties with me mind you my contract is almost paid off, i have gotten a phone call almost every day multiple times a day wether i contact them or not harassing me about this payment while telling them im in another state trying to bury my Grandmother. Have spoken to multiple store managers who either seem not to care and have actually been hung up on multiple times while trying to get things on track with them. I only get paid every other week but for some unknown reason they continue to keep me on a weekly payment plan. This stores staff sucks and i will NEVER be doing business with this store or company again. I will stick with BUDDYS who has been nothing but understanding and helpful in this time of greeving and difficulty for me.
On Monday, I stopped by and spoke to Destinee. I thought the process went well and was told that my first week would be $10.00. It actually turned out to be $13.59 and I couldnt get my item until Thursday afternoon. When I called early in the day, I was told that they couldnt verify my residence although my landlord showed me her phone and there were no calls or voicemails from the store as stated. I called later and Spoke to Sue who said she would text Destinee who was at lunch and call me back. That never happened. I went to the store only to find her the only one there, two phones going and someone came in after me to make a payment. She took the payment before even asking what I was there for. About that time Destinee came back in and I greeted her with Hi how are you? she looked at me like I had just kicked a small child. she was completely inconvenienced by my being there and when I said that I would simply like a refund, she walked away into a back office while saying ok Sir. Really? Sue on the other hand took the time to work through the misinformation I was given previously, but I still chose not to rent here. Too much hassle, too much attitude and way too much jumping through hoops. Was told in the end that my landlord needed to cosign since they dont do a credit check. Seriously I am a damn near 50 year old man with an executive management job. You have got to be kidding. Please go anywhere else but here. Too Ghetto for words.
Friendliest staff you will find. They worked hard to find things in the condition I wanted and were able to deliver quickly.

I never had a bad experience here but after a year of making my last payment this people just wont stop calling jeez if i want something else ill contact you guys,that makes you people seem desperate calling 3 times a week and leaving voice mails every week.(edit:now they just keep sending stuff by mail every so often(edit again 01-02-20)STOP CALLING DAMN IT !!! I WISH I COULD GIVE U A 0 STAR EVERY WEEK CALLING AND CALLING.
