If I could give negative stars, I would.This is the worst company I have dealt with in a very long time.I went there to have a tire replaced. I purchased a full set last year with sensors and a full warranty.I made an appointment for Monday morning and left the car there. The tire had a screw in it. I did not hear from them on Monday, so I called them on Tuesday. At first, they asked if I was sure I dropped my car off at their shop. I told them yes. So this means my car sat on their lot all Monday afternoon, without being looked at.They ordered a replacement because they did not have any in stock. It was supposed to be in by Thursday or Friday, so I decided to leave the car there.On Saturday, I called them. I was told the warehouse got the order wrong. The tire would be reordered. Since I had heard nothing on Monday, I called on Tuesday. The tire was not delivered. It should be in Wednesday or Thursday at the very latest.Again, I heard nothing. I called on Thursday and was asked hadnt I picked up my car the previous day?Someone claimed to have called me, but there were no calls from NTB on my phone. All the calls were from me to them.I picked the car up on Thursday., 10 workdays after I dropped it off.The sensor/low tire pressure light was on. You would think if someone who works for a tire company sees an alert light on, they might check that? Not these guys.I asked to have the sensor checked. I was told the sensors are battery operated, so the battery probably died. They would SELL me a new on for 65.00.I told them whu should I pay for a new sensor, when I had just purchased the sensors. The previous year. They were supposed to be full warranted. They said they wanted to check the sensors. There was a 2 hour wait. I told them I would rather make an appointment.I made it for 10 am, Friday. I arrived at 9:50. At 12:25, 2 1/2 hours later, I was still waiting for my car to be driven into a bay to be checked.I asked for mr keys and left.

Honest. Came once to patch a tire, but it was just a loose air gauge. I had no idea and would have been none the wiser, but they told me, tightened it, and didnt charge me anything.Today I had a battery changed and wanted to balance my tires to get rid of a mild shake when on the highway. They wouldnt do the balancing because the tires were too worn, which was the real cause of the shake.Its good to have a place to take your car where you know theyll be straight with you.

I only deal with Jack and the service is topnotch!! Hes the best in the field hands down on routine service and complicated repairs the dealerships cant handle. I dont go anywhere else with all my vehicles. Sent many happy friends and family there for years now. Sometimes they are very busy because once you get the great service, you will keep coming back and refer others like I do.

Place was clean and comfortable. I explained that I just wanted a basic set of tires and they did not push me to get something more expensive. Staff was friendly and helpful, especially Jada. I had an appointment and they took me in right away but it did take longer than expected to finish up. They tried though. Ill definitely use them again.

Went to NTB on the 29th, chief complaint: Bought used vehicle, car brakes but stalls when braking. The car was taken back, tires removed, brakes evaluated. Diagnosis: Car needed new tires on left, new battery, rear brake shoes & drum replacement, brake fluid flush. I was quoted roughly around $1400, this excludes the 2 tires. $1100 for just the brake work. I said that I’d call to schedule. One of the gentlemen did bring me back and explained to me, piece by piece why I needed the brake work. This is why I gave 3 stars, plus the wait was not long... They put the brakes back together, tires on. When my car was bought back to the storefront one of the mechanics warned me to “drive very careful”. I thanked him and pulled out. Upon pulling out my car felt 10x worse than what it did when I parked it. Beforehand I was able to stop, just not suddenly.... now, I cannot stop even after pressing my brake. There was also a noise, flapping noise, that I never had before coming to them. To make matters worse, I took a chance and drove the car, using my hazard lights, 10-15 mph, and a big space behind cars to get a second opinion. Same diagnosis, way cheaper price. When dissembling the tires to do the brake work we noticed that there was a nut missing from each hubcap. Whoever put everything back together was negligent or either just careless.... either way, faulty.Had my last car serviced, a Honda Crosstour, the price was good for an oil change and all preventative and comprehensive care. The wait times are usually good. But if you don’t decide to start service or get scheduled at that present time than you are wasting time... and the problems you initially had will probably be made worse.... and I think, intentionally.

I needed air in 2 tires of my Jeep Wrangler, went to the dealer because I can never do it properly myself and was told there’d be a 2 hour wait for AIR. However, Michael Thomas at the NTB on Route 40 West immediately pulled my truck around and added the air I needed!

On Saturday, March 23, 2019, I visited the NTB Shop located at 6405 Baltimore National Pike. My experience was great. There was a minimum wait time. The technician/greeter was very courteous and professional.During this visit, my wait time for my vehicle service was approximately 30 minutes. I was very satisfied with the service that I received.

My family has been servicing our 2 Toyotas at NTB for about 6 years. We get excellent service. For both routine work and the more complicated issues we have only good experiences. They answer my questions with both courtesy and clarity. In 6 years I had one problem picking my car up after a lot of work was done on it. (My van is 10 years old.) I discovered a crack in my windshield I had not seen before. The manager - Craig or Greg - responded immediately to my observation, brought out the mechanic who worked on my van and questioned him in front of me. The manager said he would replace the windshield and it was done in 3 days, with minimal energy on my part. My service contracts are all on their computer for easy access. I even had one desk agent say, Youve already paid for an alignment contract. You should do an alignment more often to keep your van in good service. All of the front office staff Ive encountered have been personable as well as professional; they seem to enjoy their jobs. I recommend this location of NTB without hesitation.

Had vehicle towed to facility. It was the wrong NTB. The NTB down the road was expecting it. No one called after this random vehicle showed on their lot. Well...They did what I needed done. Original price was around 200+. Well the other NTB was going to charge 50-70. A day goes by and they say No Worries say to pick it up for free. So theybe gained a customer right??? I get to my car and start it and it lets out the loudest sounds Ive ever heard it make. I start to drive and I cant even hear the radio. So I call, I notice my maintenance light and engine light are on. Something os definitely wrong. All I needed was new wheel studs. Nothing about a check engine light is documented on my paperwork but they say they wrote it ON THE BACK OF THE PAPER THEY HAVE. Oh word...Then after a day or so, I notice the spare lugs, studs, brakes and TOOLs I had were missing. I call.....Manager says None of our guys steal. Ok, may we both look over the footage in your facility? I can take a look but we dont let customers look at footage. Hey, Im a Honorably Discharged US Marine, Im one of the most honest guys you could meet. I called the tow guy first, says he never even opened the door to the car. Something is wrong. They never called to tell me if they saw anything in the footage they SuPpOsEdLy LoOkEd At....Its crazy what people will do and get away with.

Their hours are nice. Their service is decent, but they overbill. I was billed 30 minutes for 10 minutes of work that the cashier admitted was only 10 minutes, but billed me the 30 minutes for anyway.If you want to be billed at 3 times the regular rate, this place is for you.

This is my opinion on This is the 2nd location that I have had problems with in the past 2 months. They do not do or complete the work you request. Even after repeating the work you want done several times. The positive,friendly atmosphere that you receive up front is not what your vehicle receives. Mark your oil filter, oil/transmission drain plugs and dip sticks,tires/rims. Work not performed but requested and paid for were oil change, alignments, tire rotations, tire balancing and so on. Once brought to the attention to the Manager on Duty, there was no real concern about the issues that were found ( not completing or doing work). Store Manager, District Manager, Regional Manager, Customer Service and also Corporate Customer Relations just want to pile on the excuses and state that its an isolated incident and that proper measures have been taken to rectify the issues. If that is the case I should not have experienced these issues twice and at 2 different locations with about 25 miles in between locations. To receive this type of disrespect personally and also to my vehicles, an apology and a free oil change just doesnt cut the mustard. I will not use NTB or any of the companies that is under the Tire Kingdom umbrella. Think about your decisions on where you take your vehicles for service.

Here is a tire store that doesnt sell tires. This is the second time this has occurred with this place. You go there needing tires. They talk to you and make recommendations. You say “great, how long is the wait?” And their response is that we can’t do it today. Maybe tomorrow, but we are booked until 3:30 tomorrow.This place is so bad, they should be giving me 4 stars.

NTB Catonville, MD Store #300Best service Ive ever seen. Any question asked always got a honest answer. When my tires are low just pulled up to get air. Ive referred them to my family and co-workers. My son just got tires for his car. I went to Mr. Tires they gave me an outrageous price for tires for my Highlander I believe because I am a female and dont know a lot about cars. Jack explained what tire I needed because I drive a long distance to work. Everyone their is friendly. I will never go any wear else. Thanks Jack.

I took my car here for a basic oil change and when I picked it up I was told that I needed something done that would cost me about $800.00. I was pushed to get one of their little credit cards if I couldnt afford to pay for the fake repairs. Well anyway I took my car to a trusted place that my farther takes his car too and low and behold they told me that my car was perfect!!! didnt need any of that stuff done that ntb lied about. Fast service and quick oil change, but I give it 2 stars due to the fact that as I scheduled an appointment online and when I got there they had no idea. Once they put my name in the found my appointment. However they had to go through the hassle of putting all my info in again not to mention telling me several times I did not schedule an appointment, choose my oil change, tire rotation and tpms reset. Also my tpms light is still on and was told it would go out after 30 miles. Ive had my truck for 10 years and have never had this issue. So now I have to come back to have it reset.

I have been at this location for over an hour, to have a tire replaced. In this time you can watch technicians talking an their cell phones, standing out back laughing, and playing with tools and equipment. I had to ask if my car was going to get looked at today, while they engaged in another group circle-jerk. Seriously unprofessional. I work on cars too. And would have done it myself, but I am not paying for a rental. Lyft needs to find a more efficient automotive company to get this done. A serious waste of time. Better off having a local shade tree mechanic straighten you over NTB. I had a poor experience with NTB before, and this crap is why I never came back.

Prices are okay, but I really kept coming back for a few years for Elis great customer service. For the last few visits, I worked with other people and I had to double check their work (technical, administrative, and math) and when asking for elaboration on something I didnt understand, I was talked down to condescendingly and then hung up on. Lastly, I just learned that my tire sensor broke within 24 hours of NTB replacing my tire. It could be coincidence... maybe not.

Chris, the service manager and Marcus, my service technician at the NTB Catonsville location were awesome. I am a Lyft driver and having to take in my car for service cuts into my driving time. However, when I called to schedule an oil change Chris was able to get me in within 2 days. He took a minute to look over his schedule thoroughly. And the day of the appt. I was running behind and they were waiting for me. When I arrived, Marcus took my car back right away and I was in and out. If I could give them 15 stars, I would.

If I could give zero stars I would. I arrived an hour early on 4/22 for an appointment for tires that was made the day before. The owner of the vehicle told me everything was handled and just show up. Well it took more then 5 minutes for someone to acknowledge that I was there and that was a technician that walked though the front door. The Lyft staff you have positioned at the front door didn’t even say hello. Your employee Chris came up to the counter with shirt untucked (really professional) and asked how he could help me.The only information I had of the owner of the vehicle was her name and he found the appointment but nothing was loaded into the system including the tires that they were getting. At this point I was done with the lack of professionalism and walked out. The owner of the vehicle called and they said yes they see all the information (so I don’t know what Chris was looking at) and oh that the tires are not in yet.As a former Store manager of a NTB years ago I can say your company has not changed. Your company still has no customer service and no organization.

Shawn the manager told my old mother her battery wasn’t bad so take her car to the dealer. Of course she trusted him, only to find that it WAS the battery all along. I took it back after Shaun charged her 23 bucks to change an air filter and told her a serpentine belt would fix it, so they made her pay for a new belt, car wouldn’t start IN THEIR PARKING LOT! LOL So they give it a jump and continue to say it wasnt their battery, BUT IT WAS! Anyway I called Shaun to ask why they flat out denied my mom a new battery, he wasn’t going to make good on their “mistake”. Instead of honoring the warranty, they tricked an old lady into paying them AND the dealer more money. Classic! When I asked him how he could fix the situation he said “ could you stop yelling?” Then he hung up in my face. I was in the middle of blogging and caught it all on tape. Really Shaun? I was as calm as any son with a mom getting ripped off. Nicer than most, very calm, this was a ploy to avoid being a cheat of course. I will NEVER EVER forget this company NOR will I allow anyone I come in contact with go there. NTB means Never Touch Batteries! I am complaining to the BBB but the rating is already at the lowest it can go.

I had horrible experience at this location for a oil change . I made an appointment at 4pm. Front desk guy told me it’s gonna gonna take about 30-45 mins. So I said cool. Left my car there and went back there at 5:15 to pick my car up but it was still wasn’t ready. Spoke to the store manger he said let me check what happened. Got tires intalled last week but the wheel were way out of balance. I brought my car back for them to fix it (should take about 20 mins and the shop had 1 other car while 3 techs were sitting around) but an HOUR later, they tell me that not 1, not 2, but 4 studs were stripped and that it would take several hours to get new ones delivered and installed. So here I am. Sitting here with no way to get to work where my shift starts now, and no ETA for when it will be completed.BTW I have to stress how much of bone-head mistake it is for a service tech to strip even 1 stud. With the faulty balancing, Im not sure whether to say this was bad training or an individual who doesnt give a rats ass about the vehicles being worked on.

I hate lengthy reviews but this cant be summed up in a few sentences. Set a Tuesday appt for 4pm. I was told the tire guys leave at 5 but someone else could replace my tires. How do you have tire in your title and dont have a tire guy there after 5 when you close at 8!? I get there a little early and ask how long it will take. Im told an hour or so. I leave and call after 90 mins asking for an update. Another half hour. They call me back at 715 to tell me its ready. Thats 3 hrs and 15 mins. First thing I notice is none of the yellow dots line up with the valve stems... maybe not a hard/fast rule, Im no expert but I notice. The next morning after driving for 15 mins, my TPMS light comes on. I go back to NTB a little after 4. He tells me $125, someone can look at it and it should only take about 45 mins. They take it in right away. I left at 430, called at 6. They tell me 20 more mins. I drive there. My car is just sitting in the back. The guy at the counter goes and says something to the guy in the back. He takes the tire off and then the guy at the counter tells me its gonna be another 45 minutes. Had they not just taken my tire off, I wouldve left. Another 3 hour wait. After all of that, they replaced the sensor but couldnt clear the TPMS code. It was free, at least but VERY irritating. The people they have working back there dont seem to know much about tires or believe in being candid about timing. They need retraining and a new schedule for the tire guys at a tire shop.

I only go to NTB Catonsville to have my cars serviced. The manager Lance is excellent. Lance has been taking care of my cars for over 5 years. Not just for tires & batteries but for almost everything. Wipers, hoses, belts, pulleys, brakes, rotors etc. Basically a one stop hassel free shop.I really appreciate their honesty and great service. Go see Lance ! you wont be disappointed. Great Shop!

I bought 4 tires February last year that would have lasted longer had I rotated them properly. The only reason I didnt rotate was because I had a bad but functional CV axle (boot was ripped, but never got clicking noise). Knowing this when I went in, I opted to forego the alignment since it would need to be aligned again once I had the axle replaced. The estimate I got from them was more than I was willing to pay. Besides I know a few really good independent mechanics who could get the job done for considerably less. The best part of my experience was the price/quality of the tires & the excellent customer service I received from the staff. I bought a house brand that was excellent & inexpensive - not cheap theres a difference. They had me in and out relatively quickly.Fast forward to yesterday (4/11/16). I actually emailed the manager last Thursday a copy of the invoice from a year ago requesting the same deal. Lance responded quickly and told me what I wanted to hear. I got the tires I wanted at the price I wanted the only caveat was he required I get the alignment this time which wasnt a problem since my axle was replaced. So for $350 I got 4 55k mile tires on the rim and out the door with an alignment in less than an hour (because I was n my lunch break)!Now I took the time to read some of the previous reviews and with the exception of one, most are years old predating even my original trip to this store. That said, I believe things have turned around at this location. Conversely, I only go there for tires, but I find it a hard pill to swallow that things are currently as bad as some would suggest. Consider this - I live in Charles Village and travel to Catonsville for my tires. While there are plenty of tire vendors between my home and 6405 Baltimore National Pike, my money & I will go where we are treated well.

Mike and Dax performed my service quickly and efficiently. Mike had a quote prepared, Dax performed the tire replacement. The time in which this service was performed was less than 17 minutes! Dax worked quickly and took extra measures for safety, adding air caps that were missing and testing the spare tire he removed for air pressure! Dax took extra care in making sure the vehicle was safe and I saw a man who valued his customer as well as his job! I did not feel pressured by Mike for sales or upticks as so many companies do these days. Overall GREAT experience!My whole experience renewed my faith in Customer Service
