Top auto is the go to for car repairs. The technicians are very polite and honest. There is no pressure for unnecessary repairs and they are quick and detailed. Price is also reasonable and even better than other repair shops. I would definitely go back to top auto for future car repairs.

Truck had misfiring issues that I couldnt fix myself. Took the truck to the guys at Top Auto and they sorted me out in a couple of days. Excellent service and the price was extremely reasonable (compared with what the dealership was quoting me).

I went to Top Auto of Catonsville from recommendations of friends and the service, maintenance and overall experience was superb, I am more than happy and glad that I did. Tae was super knowledgeable and explained everything precisely and what he felt like was needed and he was spot on! My check engine light was on and has been on for awhile and Tae took care of it and was super speedy and efficient as well! From start to finish, he informed me of everything without any pressure and also even gave recommendations so that my car can last even longer since its more on the older side. I cannot think of a single thing that was terrible and pricing was more than reasonable and fair and he made sure to inform me and explain everything before performing any maintenance, it was without a doubt that I went with Top Auto of Catonsville and Tae and will be bringing back my car in the future and my business without hesitation. Trust me yall, this has got to be one of the top shops in the area and they do more than fantastic work. Dont go off of the other bad reviews because they were made falsely probably due to an issue that came up that happened when they drove it themselves.. They Fixed the transmission on my work van and helped guide me purchase a new car this spring. We are a small maintenance company in Ellicott City and have been going to Top Auto for many years. These guys did great work helping me get my car ready on short notice. They are honest reliable and detail oriented. The mechanics went above and beyond. I told them not to worry about installing my new plate but, they did it anyway and neatly put my old tag in a clean bag. They had applied the registration sticker and when i left they said goodbye, thanking me by name. I am tremendously impressed with their work and highly recommend them.

They are unprofessional, provide poor service and poor quality and charge the excessive price. I do not recommend to have your auto repair from this Top Auto shop.

I NEVER, never had nor thought I will ever trust any car shops in my life time but this shop is the most genuine it can get!!! I had asked for recommendations from bunch of colleagues and freinds but I never felt I could trust the shops they recommended or they just over charged. Top Auto was a recommendation from a friend as well so Id thought I give it a shot and Im super glad.1. Called via phone: answered quickly and answered all my questions very politely while not rushing me. Straight to the point without beating around bushes.2. Came into the shop: They already had couple of cars in the shop but took me in within 5 mins after talking to them.3. They were still working on my car even after their closing time without rushing me or the work. They even went out to get a car part becuase the part I brought in did not fit (which was totally my fault).4. in all honesty YOU CANNOT BEAT THE PRICE- parts and/or labor. To break it down simply, Top Auto charged a FRACTION of what other places would charge and quoted me.Its bit out of my way but Ill come here without a heart beat with any car issues I may have.

Quick, polite, hardworking and honest mechanics. This is the best repair shop I have ever been to, blew the dealership out of the water! Things I noticed about them: polite front desk guy, they put on my new plate and registration sticker and then neatly bagged my old plate without me asking for either, they gave me accurate time estimates for repairwork, cost of repairs was comparable to other shops and the price didnt change, they went above and beyond to get my repairs done by a deadline (essentially saving me from my lack of planning). Upon leaving the head mechanic said thank you Alex although we had not met before.Highly impressed, sent my girlfriend here.

Went in to get my door handle fixed because it had froze up in the cold. They looked into it when the Pepboys said they wouldnt do it. Got it fixed in less than a couple hours and they didnt charge me much. Super appreciated

4/20/17 - More top notch work from Top Auto. My wifes 2011 Nissan Versa was burning a quart of oil per week and had bad engine vibration and valve ticking. Sung diagnosed all of the issues and recommended a used motor instead of a rebuild, to save money (agreed). He found a low mileage replacement motor at a great price and finished the work quickly. The car runs so quietly now, I am certain there were engine issues when we bought it from Nissan (certified pre-owned doesnt mean $!#!). Sung also fixed a few minor issues that could have become worse later (leaking coolant, cracked AC condenser). Car is better than ever at a price that Nissan couldnt touch. Top Auto actually cares if your car is operating and safe. They are my go to garage in Catonsville from now on.1/15/17 - I stopped in for a tire repair because none of the chain stores plug tires anymore (because they want you to buy new tires). Top Auto plugged my tire quickly and at a very fair price. I also spoke to the head mechanic regarding possible engine repairs on my Jeep XJ. It is clear they are a knowledgeable full engine repair facility. I was impressed with Top Autos professionalism, honesty, and integrity. They were very attentive to all customers, unlike the lazy reception I get at chain repair stores. I feel comfortable recommending this shop to others for simple or complex car repairs.
