Been here 4× for either oil changes or inspections. Theyre always fast and the waiting room is climate controlled and clean. If you dont specify the type of oil they WILL put in the most expensive type.

I took my both my vehicles in, one for inspection and one for a vac and recharge on the a/c. George went the extra to make sure everything worked correctly with my a/c system. They resepctfully greet you right away and get the job done efficiently and correctly. I myself work on cars and have for several years and usually wont let anyone touch my vehicles but if I need something, these guys are now my go to. Great job guys! Keep it up

Ive used this place the last two years for my state car inspection. Both times, they had me in and out within 20-25 minutes. Not overly talkative but professional, efficient and reasonable.

Everytime I go here to get my car inspected there is always some sort of excuse why they cant do it and its always something like its their day off.... its Saturday dude people work during the week and have to run errands on the weekend.

I really keep trying to find something wrong with this place. However I never can these guys are so cool have helped me left and right with multiple vehicles I cant say enough about them they are legit. And really quick. If I have any draw backs its only this shop cant handle major fixes youll have to go to their Arlington location.. They will never steer you wrong and make sure youre back on the road. And to top of their customer service is the top. I will continue to go back.P.s I was in and out in 12 min for a radiator flush checked for leaks no leaks thank goodness and all cleaned out and new fluid which i double checked myself as Im pretty car savvy so good job guys..

I went for a state inspection and the 2 guys on duty did not have on mask inside or outside. They approach customers without mask as well as enter their vehicle without mask. When asked to put a mask on the taller of the two employees started to debate whether the mask works against covid and that it was unconstitutional. Covid 19 can be life or death for a lot of people. He has total disregard for safety and life. Not worth the risk. FYI: they had no license mechanic on Duty.

This particular location does not require employees to wear masks in the middle of a pandemic. They approach your vehicle maskless and try to enter the vehicle maskless. When I attempted to inquire about policy with the manager, the employee entered my vehie without my permission. And when we heard me asking for the manager and explaining my concern, his exact word were F her. Im not going to service her! I immediately required him to remove himself from from my vehicle. Contacting corporate was an act in futility because it is a franchise. A company can have whatever policy they want but I deserve the right to inquire and choose whether I choose to patronize their business. The employee was more than unprofessional and disrespectful.

Attendant tried to charge me $70 to $80 for a basic oil change. I drive a 2019 Elantra, basic compact vehicle and he tried to sell me synthetic oil. Its his job to know what type of oil a car takes. He just assumed that I would agree to his offer. When I explained to him how Ive never paid that much for a basic oil change, he proceeded to tell me that was their price, as in oh well! Of course I drove off and went to the dealership and paid $28 for a basic oil change. The most Ive ever paid for an oil change was $60 and thats when I drove and Acura. An Elantra does not use the same oil as an Acura -2 different engines!! Ladies beware of the Cedar Hill location!

Employee wrecked my car!!!!Owner is avoiding me, giving me the run around. Terrible customer service!!!!!!!I took my car to get an inspection so I could renew my car registration when one of the employees damaged my vehicle by backing into another customers car and now the owner will not take responsibility of his employees negligence. I have made several attempts to contact the owner (10+ calls) over the last month and have yet to speak with him. According to his son and manager he is a “busy man”. I don’t see how being “busy” is an excuse, especially when it involves a customers damaged vehicle at the hands of your employee.So far I have only spoken to George the manager who wrecked my car and he stated the owner did not want to use his insurance because George was on his lunch break. I guess that makes your business not liable for damages.Now Im left with damaged bumper, rear door, and a broken tail light. I would suggest that no one do business with Speedy Oil since they can’t even do what’s right. I will update my post once the owner gets in touch with me or I have some type of resolution.

Love this place! The workers are great and friendly. Ive gotten my oil changed 3 times there so far and its always been quicker than I thought it would. George (the manager) has always been great too! Its nice to have a friendly place to go to. I trust them and will continue to go there for my car needs. Highly recommend!

I needed a state inspection done so I stopped by on a work week day around 10am. I was promptly greeted by the manager who was very friendly and explained things to me. Facility is very clean and it was nice to see them cleaning the lobby in between customers. The person who checked me out was the assistant manager and he was just as friendly and efficient. I get serviced at a car dealership but I would consider giving them a chance for other services in the future. Great and friendly experience overall.

Firstly, I love how nice the staff is. I also love how quick the service is. I drive about 25 minutes just so so can come to this specific location every time. They will always have a customer out of me until I move too far away 😅

This place was great first time here and will definitely be returning! I am all about convenience and when I’m in need of an oil change I have always just googled the closest place, and typically will drop my car off and come back to pick it up because I don’t like to sit and wait (lol) but by the time I finished filling out a form with my info they were already done! Wonderful employees super friendly! And incredibly efficient. I also got a free tire gauge for me and one for my brother! And I love free stuff :’) lol I will be back!

Went here to get oil change and top fluids and turns out no fluids were checked after asking multiple times to make sure its done. I dont even know if oil was changed. Car wont run now!!!

I needed an oil change and tire rotation. A couple of friends recommended this place, so I tried them. My truck was driving fine and did not have any issues before I took it to this location. The tech George told me they did not balance the tires when they rotated. I went ahead with the service and when I drove my truck off the lot, it was pulling hard to the left (something it was not doing before). So I took it in to get balanced - that did not fix the issue. I took the truck back to George and he said there was nothing he did and nothing they would do for me. Now my truck needs an alignment after a simple oil change and tire rotation from this place. I called the corporate office and they have yet to get back to me. HORRIBLE SERVICE! If I could give less than one star I would!

Lobby at the Cedar Hill location was recently renovated! Never had an issue with the Arlington or Cedar Hill location. Fast, honest, and friendly. Never recommend anything you dont need. Fastest oil change and the small general inspection that comes with it definitely helps out. Decent pricing and helpful suggestions.

I had a great experience here! The guys were super hospitable, knowledgeable of their jobs, thorough. I went in for an oil change. They were thorough in explaining their services and what would work best for my car. They checked my breaks and told me how much more mileage I have until I’ll need my transmission fluid stuff changed lol. I’ve never had such an awesome experience. Most guys are just trying to take your money and send you on your way. Simply superb! I’ll definitely do business with them again!

Because its much closer to where I live, Ive been going to SpeeDee for oil changes since the free oil changes under my warranty at the dealership ran out. My vehicle requires synthetic blend oil and a special filter, which was told to me by an employee at SpeeDee the very first time I took it there. No problem. I hadnt had much time to take my car up to SpeeDee, so I visited another place that my husband frequents. I hadnt even been waiting 10 minutes before the tech came back asking me what kind of oil was used on my car. I told him I believed it was the Mobil brand with a synthetic blend. He proceeds to tell me that the employee at SpeeDee in fact DID NOT use synthetic oil as was recommended AND THAT I PAID FOR. And the wrong filter was used and placed so tightly that they needed a tool to get it off, when if they used the proper filter, it shouldve and wouldve only been tightened as much as the average hand would allow. The guy said it was so tight he was surprised it hadnt been stripped. He even showed me the difference in the oil that was in my car and a true synthetic bled. It could clearly see how they differed. To add to all of this, the grade of oil used at SpeeDee was NOT printed on the sticker which I learned is required by law. I was LIVID for obvious reasons. To know that I paid $65+ and didnt get what I paid for is beyond frustrating. Its no secret that these men try to get over on women when it comes to car maintenance. But for any oil change?! Come on! I will never be back here.

Ive been using SpeeDee for over 20 years. However the last time I went in, for an inspection, I was helped by a lovely, personable young lady... Which made a mundane chore not so forgettable.

Nice of them to let me know that they stop doing inspections after four. Web site only says they close at six. Attendant could care less about the time lost and gas going out my way to get there. As I was trying to leave to get to another station before they closed he stands in front of me not letting me leave without steering around him. It must be a Speed Dee thing, I had a bad experience with another station some years ago. Will never try and use them again.

People are nice. I was told that I had an oil leak. Could not find it anywhere. Then the last time I went there they said I needed a new rack and pinion. I went to have someone look at it. Did not find anything wrong with it.

Horrible experience. Over charged for an oil change that was not agreed upon upfront. Did not do what was asked, just what they thought was needed. Very shady and dishonest. For an oil change that ended up costing over $100, youd expect them to at least follow through with their supposed 17 point check list. I dont even think half of those things were done. On top of that, the manager was rude, to say the least and not at all willing to make the situation better. Left feeling very angry and taken advantage of. Beware of this place, there are much better, honest places out there.

Horrible place to get an oil change at! I got an oil change on my Mercedes Benz and they didn’t screw down my dust cover and it late came loose while I was driving leaving it scraping the ground. I then called to let them know what happened and they told me to drive it there (because they didn’t want to get my car towed there) and if it was to fall off just pick it up and put it in the car. Very unprofessional and not caring! I will not be going here again!! I wish I could rate this no stars.

Dont go here. I have been using them for 3 years for inspection and oil change. Theyve always been ok but nothing great about the place. Come to find out they never checked my break pads during oil changes which it clearly says is a part of it. I assumed they were checking and my front pads were grinded too the roter. Cost me $600 to fix everything and they excuse was other managers fault. They never reset the oil indicators and just over all are poor quality. Our business is going elsewhere.

They do not follow through with the 17 point inspection. I literally watched them not check the tire pressure, and then asked them if they checked the tires because one of them looked low. The tech said, yeah, it just looks like that because of the incline. Low and behold, the tire was really low on air pressure and the tech lied at my face. Stay away from this place at all costs. Garbage.

Went in for a oil change came out with a $165 bill. No complete point check. I sat and watched. Was told i needed a coolant exchange service before they will top off the coolant!The service tech was rude, unprofessional and lack customer service skills. Told me to hurry up and make a decision cause he was hot and tired!Hell i been to work for 10 hours, 6 days overtime in the heat. Now i am standing out here with him getting over charged. Rude man its called gainfully employed.Really smart ass and very demanding. Talk to thr service manager and he said, Oh well you dont gave to have these things. But your choice. Did not address the fact my truck has been here several times now we need extra items and services! $165 for a rude, unprofessional and lack customer service skills oil change. Rep assured me that I could get both an oil change and inspection and still make it to my Dr Appointment, despite there being several people ahead of me. And they did! I was done with time to spare. (Reps also offered to assist me (mobility impaired) getting my appliance in and out of the car. While the assistance wasnt needed, it was much appreciated.

Dont go here. They need to be shut down. Went here for 3 different oil chages back to back when my car started dying off and on. Took it to my trusted mechanic where he told me it was 4 quarts low on oil. He assured me there were no leaks seeing as there was no oil anywhere. Tryed to drive it home and it did the same thing. They ran the computer on it and said there was a problem with the vtec controller. Next day I found out the whole thing was because the oil filter looked like it hadnt been replaced in a long time and was clogged up. This caused the oil pressure to drop throwing off the vtec controller. They are Speedee because they dont change the filter and dont put the right amount of oil in. DONT GO TO THIS PLACE.

Staff was nice but had a horrible experience I brought my Mercedes-Benz to this place they change the oil hiked up the prize and then when I drove off I noticed smoke coming out of my car they spilled oil everywhere in my car will never go back they charge me $210 for an oil change I am very unhappy with the service I received specially see smoke coming out of my car
