I have to be totally honest with you! It was an absolute pleasure from start to finish! I wanted to get a new car but my wife wanted a GM product! Our two Tahoe’s are getting old so I went in and Mark took great care of me all the way through the process! Turns out they had a GMC Terrain for sale right at my price range and I didn’t know it at the time but my credit union was the finance company so we got it no problem! The whole process was just smooth!

He could have taken a much different approach as other salesman had done at other dealerships but he had patience with me, gave me time to think about whether I wanted to purchase and did everything he could along with his manager to meet my terms. Untrustworthy, with credit scams and shark salesmen out for a commission. NO ONE HERE CARES ABOUT YOU OR YOYR NEEDS.This is not just based on my own bad experience, but every conversation Ive ever had with anyone who has ever bought a car from Scott Elder...from Dream cars on.They upsold me on a service contract they didnt honor, also heard this from several people. There customer service is being put on hold and ignored. Would never ever send anyone here.
The hood was on the safety latch after being serviced. The service department cant keep the vehicles straight. They keep recommending service for a car we traded in. Took 6 months to get a part. When we went to get it installed we were told they didnt have the hardware. Come to find out the trim was put on with two sided tape. Caused me to waste a 100 mile round trip. Not a fan of Elder service.
I actually waited until now to write my review. I received my vehicle over two weeks ago. I wanted to wait to make sure to write a fair review. I have to say the process was an aggravating process. I thought purchasing an house would be the only stress I would endure with getting financed for anything. I actually feel the vehicle is not worth the money. Although it is a blessing to be in a brand new car, it is not worth the monthly car payments. There is no automatic locks on my 2021 outlander. I feel for the money it should be automatic locks for safety. You are not able to open the trunk from inside the vehicle, outside only. My 3 star not is not only for my experience but my family as well. My neice and sister had to redo their contract because of a lie that was told to them. For them to have to one week later return the vehicle because she didnt make enough to make the car payment with my sister being the co signer. She had the vehicle over two weeks. This was very upsetting to her, my sister and myself. This is not only bad business it also affect their credit score as well as adding inquiries. With my experience and my family experience, I would not recommend this dealership. I was willing to let my experience slide but what they did to my family was not right at all. They should give them something for the stress and aggravation they caused. This was my experience and fair rating.

Sales staff took the time to actually listen to what I needed and were very understanding. I didnt get the car I went to buy, but they all looked at every factor to find what would be best for me in the long run. Chris was even courteous enough to put on my permanent plates.
Spent several days speaking with Leticia (sales person) and Nico (finance manager). On Thursday evening (June 17), Leticia calls to inform us of loan approval on an Explorer and we agree to terms. She states that at 9 AM Friday (today, June 18) our paperwork will be ready and car detailed so that when we arrived, we simply had to come in, sign, make the down payment, and drive away. This morning at 7:13, while getting ready to head out to finalize paperwork…Leticia calls and tells us they sold the car. We ask how that’s possible and she rudely tells us Well, it’s done. I call to speak with Nico, who has no clue that Leticia had said they would have the car for us or that we had agreed on terms. So bottom line is this dealership is NOT trustworthy or reliable. They do not value their customers or even care about lying to them and selling a vehicle out from under them. This was to be our family vehicle, and they have shown no regard as to how weve been treated. Their attempt at making it right is by offering us something else and asking for nearly 5 times the original down payment!My advice is RUN.They claim to be a dealer for the people, yet clearly show the people mean nothing!
Not very pleased with this dealership. They told me I was guaranteed to walk out of there with a nicer newer car and so I drove an hour over there to fill out the paperwork and was told I would need a “friends or family” to co-sign and a down payment. I was so in love with that Chrysler 300. Oh well, I wasn’t surprised because the exact same thing happened a couple weeks prior at Covert Chevrolet. Needless to say I left there in the same car which I love. But it’s not a Charger or a 300. It’s a Dart. And not souped up at all.
Visited elder Mitsubishi earlier this week. Sales guy was great and I test drove a 21 mirage. I was ready to buy that day. I asked sales guy if he could price match from another dealership in Irving texas. He came back after talking to the manager and said no Bc they are the only ones offering a 30yr power train warranty and that’s why they were $1500 more expensive. I ended up driving the next day to Don Herring Mitsubishi in Irving with 6k down and got into my new mirage with no games. In and out in less than an hour. Congratulations Mr. Elder, you lost a sale and a customer for life with the greed of your manager working the desk. I will never refer anyone to your dealership. Things all work out for a reason.

I went against my best judgment and gave them another shot and after 3 1/2 years they are still sleezy snakes. Cars were disgustingly dirty and had a rattle to the engine, each and every one of the 5 cars I looked at. Still keeping up that Dream Cars Austin vibe. Id give them negative 10 stars if I could. Dont recommend them at all. Save your time and money, go elsewhere.

In March 2021 my car was totaled from hail damage, so I knew I was going to need a new car. I had been looking online at crossover style SUVs. I didnt really see anything that really fit my needs. I started looking at Elder Mitsubishi and fell in love with the Outlander Sport. Its roomy but not huge. You dont feel like you youre driving an SUV. Its the perfect size and gets excellent gas mileage. The sales team isnt high pressure or pushy. I told them exactly what I wanted and the color I wanted, best decision I have made in a long time with a vehicle. Consider Elder Mitsubishi next time youre in the market for a new car!!! Kudos for making my experience at the dealership exceptional!!!

Do NOT get the GAP insurance though the vendor they provide. It is Smart AutoCare. This company has been giving me the run around for 4 months now. They dont reply in a timely manner and they have been reported to the BBB. They have a lot bad reviews.

These people are lying vultures I explained my situation on the phone after being called all day long for ever had confirmation lured in didn’t even get some gift card treated rudely and lied to tried to upsell me didn’t listen to my needs garbage people there the car they tried to upsell me had spider webs all in it was disgusting and I waited 4 hours for nothing. Because they forgot about me went to another lot immediately after hillcountry motors and was approved instantly no issues and was treated a lot better too can’t trust anything they say even with proof just lured me in
WORST!!! after sale service.This is my worst experience ever in after sale service from any kind of dealer. I purchased an Outlander in July and also bought add-ons (hood badge, Grill & floor illumination) they were out of the add-ons so they told me they will order the parts and I can come next week to get it installed. After 45 days they got the parts that too on calling them multiple times and instead of grill & floor illumination they installed scuff plates, since I picked up my car during day time I didnt know they installed wrong parts.Very next day I called the parts department to let them about the wrong parts and they blamed sales department for ordering wrong parts and asked me to contact them.When I called sales department they replied they will check and call me back. I never got a call back and every time I call the sales department from whom I bought the car, she never answers the call.Not just this, my car has a vibrating hood issue since I bought the car, when I called to get it fixed they said the parts are in back order and I should call them next week, this has been going on since 3 months and still all the answer I get is the parts are in back order.When you go to buy the car they ask you to give 10/10 review and keep on calling you for next 3 days till you dont give them 10/10 review when the corporate calls. And this is the after sale service they give after giving them 10/10 review.Parts department blames the sales department.Sales women who sold me the car does not pick up the call.And parts are in back order since 3 months.I will never recommend anyone to buy a car from this dealer if after sale service is something important for you all.

He’s so beyond friendly, and even cracked a few jokes which made our time there even more great. We also were able to work with Sharla, and she is the sweetest woman ever! False expectations and bad communication. I was set to test drive a car and set an appointment on Saturday at 6.30pm for Monday. They texted me about being excited to see me and when I reached there, the rookie sales guy said the car is sold and the comms people who sit upstairs, their system is not in sync with what the sales people see.Thats not how a dealership works. Please improve communication and tell the customers that the car is sold before we end up driving from afar.Very bad and not recommended
Easily the best service Ive ever had with a dealership. I feel very comfortable asking them any sort of question. Even if its out of their scope of support on the car (which isnt often) they can point me in the direction I need to be looking. Very professional, yet casual in all the right ways

The entire experience was HORRIBLE. We came here to get an inspection after being asked, they could not tell us over the phone what we needed to know, instead under the table things have taken place, the General sales manager Ron became very hostile as if we stole or wanted to steal, and treated us like we were beneath him. 2/10 would not recommend. Bad business place. He wasn’t even dressed in uniform like the other employees. How do we even know if he was the Manager. Do better.& again I repeat you do not put anyone’s business on google reviews. Confidentiality? Very UNPROFESSIONAL. Either way it go, tell the truth about someone’s business instead of taking the route you all did, lying. Process the loan the same day like stated instead of waiting. Am I communicating with a kid?

I would give 0 stars if it was possible. Every step of the way the process of dealing with this company has involved being misled and given misinformation.Upon arriving at their location (which has virtually no parking space) we were presented with a different vehicle than the one we had scheduled to test drive, and were not told that it was a different one. We only found out when the price was much higher than what we were expecting for a 10 year old vehicle. When presented with the correct vehicle it was not in the condition shown on the website.During the paperwork I expressed a concern about what to do if the temporary license plates expire before my official ones arrive. I was essentially told to not to worry about it, my concerns waved off. After an agreement to have a non-function part of the truck repaired (the tailgate would not close despite the truck being listed as not suffering any major issues) and to have the truck delivered to our home we left thinking that would hopefully be the end of the issues.A few days later the truck is finally delivered, and it is appreciated that they did so. I asked the person delivering it where the temporary license plate was and he informed me that none was sent. It took two days and as many calls to get a temporary license plate emailed to me. During this interaction I repeated my concern about the license plate not arriving before the temporary tags expired.Over the next few weeks I called periodically, checking in to see if my plates had arrived. I had asked for them to be mailed to us but as we got closer and closer to the date my temporary plates would expire I started to get more and more concerned. With only a week to go before my plates expired I decided it was time to make it understood that my concerns were quit serious. After repeated calls I was told on the 12th that the plates had been mailed and would be there in two days. I was livid because during one of the numerous calls I made during this period I made it clear I no longer wanted the plates mailed and would make the three hour drive to pick them up.Two days later and the plates had not arrived but I had the tracking number they texted me on the 12th when I called them about it, this is where I noticed the lies. On the 12th I was told the plates had been mailed on the 8th, but when I looked up the tracking number on USPS the last update on them was on the 6th, two days before I am told they were mailed.My temporary plates expire tomorrow; I called today in an attempt to get a temporary license extension so I could continue driving my vehicle. During the conversation it was mentioned to me that the plates had been mailed on the 11th, not the 8th like I had been told before hand, and unlike what the USPS tracking number I was given said. I was then informed that since my metal plates had been issued they would not issue a new temporary license plate or extend my current temporary license plates.So now I wash my hands of this company, I am going to the DMV and Tax Office tomorrow while I can still legally drive my truck and see if they can give me license plates or extend my temporary license plates until the metal ones arrive. I had surgery a few weeks ago and need to make regular visits to my doctor to check up on my recovery, I have classes starting up next week and need to be able to drive to campus. Now I am not sure if I am even going to be able to go to the grocery store.Do not buy a vehicle from here, and do not trust them.
Horrible absolutely Horrible. Nothing has changed from Dream cars Austin to now. Had me in the dealership all day from 9am til 5:30pm on top of running to the bank for statements. Finally had paperwork ready after running my credit and took my payment from me so they can back out of the deal.Not impressed at all. Ive had better experience at Henna Chevrolet.

I have been driving my current vehicle for sixteen years and it was already used when I bought it. I have sunk a lot of money in repairs over the years. The other night it broke down again and repair estimates far exceeded value of the vehicle. Reluctantly I realized it was time to throw in the towel.There are are many car dealers in the Austin area and car sales people are not exactly known for their ethics. Scott Elder Mitsubishi caught my eye with the cheesy commercials but they promised they could get you in a new car.I looked them up and read good testimonials. I looked at their used cars online and decided to give them a try. They quickly reached out to me by email and then by text. I decided to give them a try. My credit is not that bad. I figured I could get a decent used car. I was wrong. They worked with my wants, my budget and everything. Everyone was very professional and courteous. I drove off the lot in a new car! I have never had a brand new vehicle in my life! Give them a try. You wont be disappointed. Dont forget to ring the gong as you leave. Small caveat. They took a picture of me in front of my new car holding the keys saying they would send it to me. I never got it.
I have to amend my first review. Initially the experience was ok. But when I was observing how they really operate. I cannot recommend anyone to purchase a vehicle from this dealership. Scott Elder may claim he’s a dealer for the people, but his employees aren’t for anyone other than themselves. Especially the general manager Ron he definitely needs to be retrained in customer service. Deandre needs to be taught how follow through with what he tells the customer. He also needs to learn how to follow up to make sure it gets done. It seems the follow through is an issue with a lot of the employees there including Sharla in finance. She’s lacking that skill set as well. Here is a good customer service tip don’t ask the customer what they want in a car then totally disregard it. Which is exactly what Deandre did. If was up front with then it would of been my choice if I wanted to continue with the purchase. For example if he said “I understand what features you want in a car, but for those features you will have to put more money down “ Then it would of been my choice to stay or go. But instead he passes the car off as what I was looking for in vehicle and so did Dean. We talked for a while and he passed it off just the same as Deandre. Needless to say I have removed all ties to Elder Mitsubishi off the car. I don’t want to encourage anyone to visit that dealership.
Ive bought two cars from Elder and the staff has been welcoming and accommodating both times. They are very polite and professional. They are knowledgeable about their inventory and work hard to get their customers into the vehicle that will fit their needs. I have been nothing but impressed with them. Also when I did have car trouble, they took care of my tow on the weekend and gave me a loaner vehicle to drive until the problem could be resolved. Shout out to Curtis in the service department for promptly and professionally repairing my car without cutting corners. I love Elder. Lifetime customer here.

We were promised a car that had android auto but got the standard edition. First car was damaged before we left the lot. No fault to the salesperson as it was dark when we left. I do like the car just wish the features I was told were on the car were actually present

I had Yosiah Hopson as my salesperson. Nice, friendly, and makes everything work out without a hitch. Dedicated and I would only deal with him as my salesperson on a new car purchase in the near future. Assisted with my apps to get the information to close the deal. Yosiah can handle multiple people at one time with no long wait as he is suspended energy in motion on the sales floor. Then the instructions by Karsten on the vehicle features and is patience with my learning were extraordinary. Nico in finance was another top performer with backup that creates an energy buzz in the place. Happy experience with the car I wanted at the right price.

The most lies ever told. I was told I could use the rebate anyway I wanted toward a new vehicle that was a lie. Nico the finance guy told me I could only use it as a rebate. Your not guaranteed any $25000 its a lie. The whole process is a lie. My salesman is the only reason I gave 1 star. Everything else about Elder Mitsubishi is a lie...Ive already told 3 of my family members who received this same text and 5 friends dont believe the HYPE..
Lied to me. Wasted my time and gas. If they don’t want your car, they claim to not be doing the “Carmax +$500” promotion. Yet, when you call they say they still are. I drove 30 miles each way to this junky dealer, they had me wait an hour, drove my car..... THEN lied and told me they were no longer doing that promotion. On my way home, I called from a different number and they told me they are still offering that promotion. Liars. Evasive manager that I was never able to speak to...
Nice experience shopping for a car. Got what I wanted with no hassle. They do send a lot of emails, texts, and snail mail as a follow-up though.

I had the worst experience with buying a car from here other then the car sales man I had dontay they sold me a car they knew had problems then when it was all said and done they had to take the car to have a new motor put in they tried to tell me there was only 1 small prob woth the car at first they wanted me to go with out a car for weeks then after they took the car back they dident offer me any other cars and never once did I get an apology from anyone in that store and right before it was time to go and I mentioned all this to them then they wanted to offer me up a different car worst car buying experience ever

The sales men I had williams was grate vary ...nice I give him 5 stars but the elder mitsubishi says everyone is approved with one dime down that is not true at all they said last night I was approved nothing down n today they called me the 2022 outlander they said I was approved for now they want $11000 down witch is crazy n for a 2018they want 2000 down okay what happened to a nickel if ur in a pickle orr a dime down lol am I right I went somewhere else got one nothing down

The commercials were advertising that if you make $450 a week and even owe 1,000s more on your car that they could get you into a newer car. I finally decided to view their online inventory but was required to put my contact information in first. As soon as I did that I received a call from an Elder employee before actually accessing their online inventory. I was asked what I was looking for and I advised probably what I was driving now, a convertible mustang. I was then told they had one, a 2018, black, leather interior and only 40K miles on it. This was Saturday and I was working in Austin until 5 pm and Elder closed at 7 pm. I made it there just after 6 pm. After looking at and driving the car I decided to have them appraise my car and submit the credit application to their lenders. By 8 pm they had received an approval, gave me the car but I would need to come back Monday to complete the paperwork. At first it was about $100 a month higher than I wanted. When I came back on Monday that lender pulled out and they were actually able to get me where I wanted to be. I was given approximately $2,000 more than Kelly Blue Book appraised to me. Elder also came down approximately $2,000 on my car purchase to help offset was I was upside down, approximately $4,000. I would recommend to others.
Overall a great experience will be buying from them again.
Came to the dealership today with my roommate! Was told I am negative and the whole time assiociates wanted to start aruguments, left to go run afew arons while roomy was working numbers only to come back to no parking and a guy that works st dealership to tell my roommate is he on drugs because I was turning around to patk correctly than he come to my vechile cusses me out and accusses me of almost running over his foot, ask to talk with manager refused so get back to working the deal, asked for Divers License serval times copies made asked sales rep for my copies back only to get more backladh, too shady of a business for me too ever recommend. Also would like my free steak now.
I was very satisfied with the service in purchasing a new used vehicle everything was very simple from booking appointment to closing on purchase other then the hurry up and wait status overall was a great experience!

First service @3400 miles.only problem was something added to washer fluid that reduced visibility..all other fluids seem to be good, nice waiting area and very fast service
Going into the process of buying a new car I’ll admit I was skeptical! They were patient with me considering I didn’t show one day and arrived late to my appointment. Talking to my salesman JJ Johnson he was a cool cat and worked with me on negotiating. I had my mind set, but he showed me better deals and took good care of me! I didn’t feel like my time was wasted nor did I feel like I was pressured into the deal I got! I’d Recommend Elder Mitsubishi to anyone!
