Permanently closed. You can get limited flavors of ice cream next doors in the Osteria. It seemed that they don’t sell much, ice cream had some big ice crystals…

The ice cream is good but due to pandemic they only have a very limited number of flavors (vanilla, chocolate, coffee and salted caramel). Hope to try their other flavors soon!

The flavor here is beyond what you get from any other ice cream-like dessert! The staff is really friendly and you can try samples before you commit to a flavor. I love the coffee and pistachio flavors particularly. Salted caramel tends to be a little gritty in texture unfortunately.Covid edit: the gelato shop has been closed but you can still get gelato next door in the restaurant (its the same owner, same gelato). You can get 3 scoops for $6 which is actually a better deal than usual!

Ciao Gelato is a great restaurant. Last night our food and service was excellent. We booked a reservation (10 of us) for 8:00 pm. We sat down at 9:00 pm. Although we had to wait, I understood that the two tables they were originally placing us was having so much fun decided to have after dinner drinks and deserts. As quickly as they could, they switched our tables and sat us. Our delay was the result of customers wanting to stay and enjoy their evening thoroughly. Our evening was also thoroughly enjoyable.

Staff was excellent. Some appetizers could have been cooked more thoroughly. Entrees were fantastic. A nice place to go every once in a while, over all very good.

My Philly Cheese steak was good, the quality of the meat was better than many. I think they need more substantial bread, though, and rolls in general. Real Italian bread is crustier and less doughy.This was my first visit and I will return.

Found most flavors to be too sweet. Not way too sweet be gross, but just enough to not feel great too easy a scoop. Service is good and the place is clean though.

The gelato here was very good. The place was very clean. It also has amazing service, the lady was so kind to us and very helpful. They had military discount which was very cool.
