Dorothy is wonderful service advisor! Very friendly and talkative, feels like you’re chit chatting with family.The service on my car was timely and everything done to it was good, no complaints there.The only thing that I did not appreciate was what I felt was rudeness from one of the attendants from the pick up area. The guy that took my ticket was friendly. After waiting for 20 minutes and watching others showing up after me take their cars, I asked another attendant, he was also nice and apologetic about the wait. I sat back down and watched as he starts using his radio to ask about my car and looking thru the keys and such. Finally, about less than 10 minutes later, I see my car coming up. I walk over as a different man that I had not dealt with gets out of my car, says nothing to me, doesn’t even look at me, and just walks away leaving the door open. I felt that was rude! I simple thank you have a nice day, sorry for the wait or any kind of friendly acknowledgment would’ve been sufficient.That guy needs customer service training. I didn’t do anything to deserve being ignored.
Great service while I was there but there’s been no follow up by Anthony my service advisor for the past two weeks. He was supposed to get new tires for me and follow up with getting a tow cover part that I had ordered. I’ve called a couple times and have not gotten a return phone call. This is the second time I’ve had an issue with the service advisors at this location. I’m terribly disappointed!
I made a 3:30 appointment and was told it would be about 2 hours. I took off work, and after wasting 45 minutes, I was told I would have to leave my car overnight because I brought it too late. Clearly the receptionist who makes the appointments made a mistake or didnt realize she made too late of an appointment for me. Mistakes happen. My disappointment comes from the unapologetic lack of regard that the service rep showed. He just kept saying I needed to get there before 2:00. My follow up with another receptionist to reschedule was underwhelming as well. I am 0 for 3 in my interactions with the employees at this location. I pray this isnt what I can expect in future visits. Just the slightest sign of acknowledgement that they can do better would be much appreciated.

I purchased a used car that said to be a CPO car. I was very happy with that car I purchased from them. A couple days later, the dealership tried to call me back saying the car cannot be CPO due to the modifications on the vehicle and it did not pass certifications with Lexus. The person who I spoke to did offer me some options but i liked the vehicle a lot because the outside was a little unique because it had a wrap on it with external modifications. I asked the finance guy what exactly was modified and he said the exhaust. He mentioned in order for me to pass the certifications I had to change out the exhaust myself. But it didn’t make sense to me since they sold the car to me exactly like that and to say I have to change out the parts myself and pay out of pocket in order for it to be a certified car. So I told the finance guy that i would like to keep the car and ask if they can change out the exhaust since it is not my responsibility to change out the parts when they clearly sold the vehicle saying it’s a CPO car. Since he wouldn’t honor my request. I took it up with corporate and they reached out to the dealership to see if they can help me with the issue. It took me up to management with them telling me they will do the certification process. I drove to Cerritos to negotiate with them. I asked them to change out any internal modifications which was the exhaust in order to have it certified. Apparently the manager mentioned to me there’s more to it than just the exhaust and he may need to take off the wrap and everything else on the outside. I was confused on to why they sold this car in the first place since I saw a sticker on the side of the car say it is L/certified. But according to the manager it was a “mistake” that sticker was put on. Even though I like the outside look of the vehicle, I told him to do what it takes to have it certified. He said he would reach out to me by next week. Next week passed, and all of a sudden he can’t honor my warranty because there were too many modifications. I was very disappointed in the service because how can you offer that to a customer and then decide you can’t do it. So I decided to return the vehicle. Even though the Lexus brand is considered a high end luxury car, their service did not meet up to the brand. I have been a big fan and drove a Lexus for 10+ years, but I do not know if i want to purchase another Lexus vehicle due this experience. I would not recommend this location if anyone I know wants to purchase a Lexus car.
I was not happy with my experience this time around. I had a 4pm appointment on Tues Oct 19 to drop my car off for a recall. I was leaving my car overnight and needed a loaner. I did not leave until almost 6pm. I had a dinner that I was very late for. I ended up calling someone to pick me up. If someone explained a delay of some kind I would have appreciated that. I waited with other Lexus customers and no one was saying anything to us. This is disappointing. When my service advisor came out to check me in I didn’t get an explanation or apology. She’s very friendly but talks a lot about personal stuff. She wasn’t very mindful or considerate of asking me if I had somewhere to be. She had us wait in the lobby for my loaner. After 20 or 30 min or so I caught her and told her I had to leave. I found my own ride. I understand delays happen but next time give us customers a heads up.
I had previously been looking for a 2022 Toyota Highlander Hybrid. Due the shortage of vehicles at the moment, it has been impossible to find.On 10/1/21, after a birthday breakfast, my husband took me to the dealer at Lexus Cerritos; to look around.When we arrived, I of course fell in love with every SUV - there was a good handful of new 2022 vehicles. Steven Huh approached us and asked us if we needed assistance - not a typical salesman at all. He was very genuine, honest, straightforward and friendly. My husband told him that we are looking for a SUV Hybrid. Steven was very accommodating, however not pushy at all. He was upfront and informed us of everything we needed to know from the beginning. He asked us if we would like to keep looking around, or if we would like him to show us what is available in his office (the vehicle were were interested in were parked across the street). We agreed to go into his office, and were greeted with Serena Oh. Both Serena and Steven assisted us from that point on. Steven showed us higher priced vehicles vs lower priced, as provided all information necessary. He was very informative. Given the circumstances currently with buying vehicles, I was surprised with what they had to offer + they had exactly what I was looking for in stock (color and hybrid). We agreed to take a look at the car and I instantly fell in love. There was no way I was going to go back to the Highlander at that point. Steven and Serenas demeanor, professionalism, courtesty, honesty, etc. is what also sparked interest. They were so upfront and didnt sugar coat anything at all. We agreed to go home and discuss the option of purchasing the vehicle, then possibly returning later that evening; which we did. The process was so simple. I was amazed with the price of the vehicle, my trade in offer and just the overall experience. I cannot recommend Steven and Serena enough. They are truly a power team - the best team. I highly recommend both of them, and I have not one negative thing to comment on. The entire Lexus Cerritos team was such a pleasure to deal with, however I can ensure that the best experience will be with Steven and Serena.
The consultant I worked w/ is Dorothy L. Shes great and helpful and acknowledged the supports that Im hoping to get. I started w/ the 40k service and couple miscellaneous items, then noticed both front and rear brakes needed to be replace! While I was waiting there, I needed to retrieve my phone charger, and the valet staff there was really friendly (unfortunately I didnt get his name so I can shout out to him for a big THANK YOU!) and helped me tracking down the car thats already in the middle of service. After couple hours waiting, Dorothy came and told that as they couldnt wrapped up my car at the same day, I got a loaners car until then.Things are great w/ the services here overall.The only downside Id like to mention is that after they brought my car out and handed over my car key, I started situated my car, then noticed that 2 pieces of my dashboards decorations are damaged and I was never acknowledged by them that decoration things were broken during the service.Things break, accident happens, Id understand and Ill be fine if theyd just told me upfront upon they pass me the car that some stuff were damaged during the service instead of later found out on my own. Guess IF (and thats a cap IF!!) next time Im bring my car back for another service, Ill have to make sure all things put away in the car before I bring it in.
My third trip to get my Lexus serviced and it was another positive experience. Everyone is always friendly and courteous. They get the job done quickly and courteously. I really like the customer waiting area and am able to do my work while waiting for my car. It’s comfortable with free Wifi, Starbucks coffee, chilled water bottles and snacks!
I cant get anyone in the finance department to return my calls. Quick to send out the bill, slow to send out the money they owe. Disappointed to say the least.
Dorothy who checked me In was friendly and helpful. I would give 5 stars to her. When I went to pick up my car, the 2 male employees were on their phones and chatting with a female employee while several of us were waiting for our cars…..just rude

CERRITOS IS THE WORST!!!Called Lexus of WESTMINSTER, told them about my horrible experience at Lexus Cerritos, Jen the very helpful and friendly service customer care person just informed me to drive by...so here I am, WITHOUT AN APPOINTMENT, waiting for my car to get serviced here at LEXUS WESTMINSTER. Went in to buy out my lease after being in contact with David M. At first he was nice and informative but the day of I told him I was extremely busy and he continued to call/text after already scheduling an appointment with him. Once there he told me to get my own financing because he wouldn’t give me anything lower than a 5% which was odd because I’ve never been told by a salesperson to get my own financing. My dad started to ask a few questions and David’s responses started becoming aggressive, demeaning, and rude so I asked him to step away and give us a minute. At this point I wanted to be done with the process so I called my bank to get the loan and I told David to move on to the next step. David said in the meantime he would get my car cleaned and detailed. We go to sign paperwork with the gentleman from finance (I believe his name is Ryan) who was amazing and turned the entire experience around. He was shocked by Davids demeanor and tactics and apologized. He was surprised that David told me to look for my own financing because of my credit score so he matched my 1.9% the bank offered. I get my keys to go home and my car was exactly like I brought it, no detail, no wash. I would give David’s short tempered service 0 starts. Overall a disappointing experience.

I have a 2008 Lexus IS 250 that I bought brand new here. She still runs beautifully thanks to the great service shes received through the years at Lexus of Cerritos. For many years my service provider was Sarah, and I absolutely adored her. When she moved on I was pretty bummed but I was assigned to Dorothy and she has been great! Id say the service they provide is well worth the higher cost of maintaining your vehicle at the dealership.
Pete Phat is the best! His professional attitude, diligence, and patience is something I rarely experience else where. I would rate him a 6 star if possible.

I took my 2916 Lexus in for my free birthday wash. Service representative Anthony reviewed my vehicles history and recommended an oil change and brake fluid service. He said I would not have to wait much longer than the car wash service and I agreed. Later, I realized that if I had known that I was going to have the oil and brake service, I would have used a Lexus coupon and saved $30. I called Anthony and he said it was too late. I asked to speak to a supervisor and he said one would call me. That was over a week ago and no one has called.
The salesman was great and overall the customer service was very good. However, only one week after purchase the battery died and left me stranded. I had to call AAA. A low battery voltage should have been identified during their basic inspection and replaced before putting up for sale. Cost me 125.00.

A few weeks ago, about to be a month now.. I went to go check out some cars I might be interested in and I was a little nervous and indecisive since it was going to be my first car! When I had arrived to the Lexus dealership, I immediately received help from Steven Huh. Literally the best car salesman!! I’m only 21 years old and of course many salespersons are going to view you as a kid that shouldn’t be taken seriously. But, Steven never once made me feel like a child. He treated me as a young adult and he explained everything to me in a matter I would 100% be able to understand. He never once pressured me into purchasing the vehicle. He never once made me feel uncomfortable. He made my family and I comfortable when he was explaining to us the details on behalf of the vehicle I was interested. To top it off he was an extremely funny and nice guy!! Long story short.. this guy deserves a raise.
The service with Tony was AMAZING, GREAT FABULOUS, and most of all VERY PROFESSIONAL. He kept me informed of the service and was pleasant, patient and friendly. He deserves more stars but 5 is all i have available therefore he gets them all. Thanks Tony
Malachi was absolutely wonderful. The service and confidence he provided me was exemplary. There are not enough words in the English language to express how impressed and comfortable I felt with him. This is an absolutely wonderful young man. He is Truely gifted at what he does. Ive got a car I know youll love isnt a line for him it is a promise. He was so respectful and attentive toward my mother, who is a long-time client of you service department; and that is very rare to see in young people in this day and age. Young people you are so disrespectful of their elders now. It is heartbreaking to see. Malachi is an exception to that rule. In my culture, elders are the rock of our community. Its nice to see a Millennial who sees value in the wisdom of their elders.

My windshield cracked several months ago which I have never used insurance to cover in the past. Daniel Kim explained the process of getting it replaced at the dealership via insurance.Daniel stayed in contact with me whenever I e-mailed for assistance until I was able to get my insurance company to afford me maximum coverage from a dealership versus other sources that use after market parts.It was very important to replace my windshield w/ a Lexus manufactured one. My car is an RX350 F-Sport w/ heads up display; after market wouldnt cut it. Thanks Daniel Kim; I recommend your service in the strongest possible terms!

Great customer service! Buying the car at this dealer was truly a great experience. The sales person was very helpful and nice. Once the purchase was made he put a huge red bow on my car which was a pleasant surprise as my husband bought this car for me as my anniversary gift. Bringing the car to this dealership for service is also an easy and pleasant experience as everyone is so nice and everything is done fairly quickly.

My sales person has been nothing but helpful and great. My concern with Lexus of Cerritos comes with the final contract agreement. I purchased a car less than a month ago. Concerned that my agreement states Lexus Financial Services as my lien holder and thats how I signed off on my contract, afterwords, I come to find out by mail that the dealership set me up with another financial institution when I have excellent credit. Called on 9/16 and again today but no one has returned my calls. Feels like my concerns are being ignored by the finance and branch manager.
My service consultant Sonia Mendoza is the best! I’ve purchased over five Lexus vehicles in the past and she has been my go to for quality and professional service issues. Her honesty, focus on details, and her quick response to calm any frustrations with my vehicle issues have been top notch. The worst customer service experience I ever had with Lexus of Cerritos the last time I was there to get my regular oil change routine maintenance done on my Lexus which I had bought it from them. I had an appointment but they couldn’t find me on the list. I had to wait for them to check their list again and finally got checked in and gave them my key. The guy drove off with my car and I was waiting for 1 hour and 15 minutes later to find out that my car has not been checked in with the advisor yet. They don’t even bother to call me or anything until I ask what happen. They told me that they couldn’t find me. I was walking around the dealership checking out my next Lexus that I want to buy but now I will reconsider before my decision again before I will buy or come back to this dealership again. Alex was a nice guy who tried to help me but he couldn’t even find me in their system at all until a few minutes later. He was quick, efficient, and apologized for the inconvenience. The car got serviced in 45 minutes later. The reason I am writing this review because I want somebody understand what customers service is all about not just sold them the car and forget all about it. Repeat customer is more valuable than you think because they will come back again.

Bought my Volvo s60 from here after looking for quite some time for a new car. Brian immediately reached out and walked me through every little step and even helped me get information on how to close an account I had no idea was still open on my credit. And after just moving to California he and the finance manager worked extremely hard to get me approved with what paperwork I could find for my residency and employment. I pulled up to the service department and was greeted by a porter immediately. My service advisor came out a few minutes later, took me in to start the paperwork for my recall service and was out of there in 10 minutes! Very efficient and service was good.
Service experience is so far Excellent. My service advisor Pete is very good at what he does and by far friendliest. I took my car for a 30k service and I am very satisfied with the experience. Wait time could improve but so far no complaints.
I was in and out quickly, they get very busy but are very organized. They had to keep my car until the next day so provided me with a loaner car. They have great customer service!
My most recent trip to Lexus of Cerritos was definitely less than impressive. I scheduled a 9:30 oil change, upon arrival the service department was so crowded I couldn’t even drive all the in. I’m not sure if they schedule that many appointments each day or if there just happened to be a large amount of walk-ins on Wednesday mornings. My service provider was very pleasant (the only good part). He quoted me a 2.5 hour wait time. At 11:40 I was told that my car was ready, I got signed out and received my pick-up ticket and headed over to the vehicle pick-up desk. THIS is where things took a turn. They told me my car would be right out. I waited about 10 min., no car. Someone drives up a Lexus ES and asks if it’s mine, NO. I’m not sure whose car that was but I don’t drive that model and I didn’t see anyone get in while I was still there. Next, the guy asks me what model I have and I tell him. The then tells me that it’ll be another 15 min for my car, that was an inaccurate estimate. I ended up waiting until 12:36 for my car, almost an HOUR AFTER the time I was told that it was ready. As if that wasn’t frustrating enough my car is pulled to the front after being “washed” ONE tire wasn’t shined while all of the others were AND there was a greasy hand print, YES A HAND PRINT, on the hood which was clearly left behind by one of the techs. When I pointed out the hand print, it was suggested that it was probably already there when I brought it in and the power wash is quick and doesn’t get everything 😑....absolutely NOT. From here on out, I think I will drive the extra mile to have my car serviced at South Bay Lexus like many others have suggested.
Great experience buying car here. Nice staff, Ernesto was friendly and awesome. No weird sales tactics, after car shopping for 2 months and seeing the absolute worst sales teams, this places was nice and the showroom and offices are nice. I recommend this dealership.
Horrible. Would not recommend. Agreed on a price for a used car. Had cash in bank to pay so no financing needed. Forced to sit doing nothing for almost an hour. They didn’t seem to know how to accept money. Was there in a regular business day when availability of funds could have been confirmed immediately. They seemed to insult me because I wasn’t interested in financing. In order to buy the car, they demanded unnecessary amounts of my personal identifiable information. The manager who finally prepared all of the paper work was surly and unfriendly. The experience was nothing like the peppy Cerritos Auto Square commercials. If my son didn’t want the car he had found there, I would have walked out of the dealership. I gave it one star only because there was no option to give a negative number of stars.
It was not the experience I was expecting. When I arrived I was told I wasnt on the list of appointments. I had to show my verification email to prove I had an appointment. The service tech was flippant and somewhat arrogant. When I picked up the car, I was not told anything about the condition of my vehicle. I was just handed the paperwork and told to find a porter. Fortunately this was a free 10k mile service, but I dont see myself paying $$$$ for this kind of customer service.
I couldnt be happier with my experience at Lexus of Cerritos. Serena helped me find a fantastic car at a fair price. She went above and beyond to search for just what I wanted, and I really appreciate her attention to detail. Serena is kind, attentive and knowledgeable about these cars and it feels like she really cares about customer satisfaction. She even introduced me to the general manager! This is the second time I have bought a car from Lexus of Cerritos and I am very happy to be a part of such a great Lexus family. Their service department is also wonderful and I have been very pleased with their excellent technicians, most recently with Pete. The finance department was efficient and knowledgeable, as well. I would highly recommend this company if you are looking for a new or used car. They are simply the best!
Shopping for a vehicle is stressful. So, when I first called this dealership to inquire on their inventory, I found the staff to be very helpful. Specifically Elias K., our sales representative who was extremely helpful, welcoming, and most importantly, honest. From the beginning, Elias helped simplify and streamline the process for me. I applied online before I went into the dealership to ensure I qualified for a great rate, which I did and was very satisfied with my ARP. Elias was extremely attentive to my needs. He held my hand along the way, and I cant thank him enough for his patience with me. I know Im not easy as I am very particular and observant about things. Elias is a gem and he will go above and beyond to assist you, answering every question you may have. This is a great dealership that recruits great people, and I would gladly purchase from this dealership again and will definitely recommend Elias to friends. In addition to this, the establishment was very clean, all staff wore a mask to ensure safety and COVID protocols, and I felt very safe visiting this location with my family.

Fast service! I wish my car would have been washed, but I assume it was not because its an older model. This is the first time I did not get a complimentary carwash. It always makes me so happy when I get one!
UPDATE from my 1-star review:Ended up calling the dealer back and spoke with David (who I would highly recommend). He helped me to understand the situation a little bit better to where I dont feel like that Dealer was trying to avoid me. If you are considering buying a car from this dealership, you should absolutely go through David as he was extremely helpful, kind, and understanding of the situation.Wanted to make a deal happen with this dealership. They had a 2018 Honda Clarity for sale, I was an out-of-state buyer who was willing too: (1) fly out to the dealership to purchase the car, (2) pay full asking for the car, (3) pay California sales tax for the car, and (4) work with them on getting the title to me as i know this can take some time. I had to go through 3 separate salesman only to find out that they would not sell me the car because they “didn’t have the title”. This makes no sense! If i was a California resident they would still have to mail me the title. When I asked for more information around this, I was ghosted by the salesman. Felt like I was offering the same deal any California resident would’ve offered, but was turned away for what seemed like a poor excuse to not sell me the car. Not sure I understand the full situation, but didn’t have a great experience with this dealership.
Very professional and friendly atmosphere. I went in for a test drive and I liked that there was no high pressure to buy and I liked the low interest rate promotion. Needless to say, I’m enjoying my new smooth ride!!
I tried to make my appointment online but the system was unable to find my information. Then I had to call and make the appointment. When I arrived, they stated it would take 2 hours for an inspection and car wash! I wanted them to check on replacing my navigation screen (since it is bubbling), which I think should be covered by the extended warranty I purchased. I am hoping it is covered since this is nothing I “did” to cause this. They said it would take another hour to “figure it out”. So I have to bring it back in. I am not happy about having to spend hours of my time here.
I recently purchased a new Lexus from here and Omar from sales could not have made this a better experience. They were patient with my decision making and not pushy with the add-ons. Additionally, the prices were fair and everyone who helped was very knowledgeable. I am very happy with my new car and experience.

Bought a used 2011 GMC denali here almost 2 months ago. Purchased on a Sunday when their detail service was closed so they told me to come back, which was annoying because I live an hour away, but I agreed because it was a free car wash so why not. I came back the following Saturday for the detail to be completed but prior to that I had purchased new rims and tires from a local tire shop and had them installed before coming in to have it detailed. I dropped off the car for the detail and when I came back to pick up the car it was already dark out so i thought it looked nice but didnt think I needed to do any kind of inspections, so I prepared for my long drive home sitting in traffic on the 405. When I got home my husband came out to look at the car and he noticed that whatever chemicals they had used completely stripped the paint off of the bolts around the rim as well as the lug nuts. Immediately we called the sales rep who had been helping us and he said that he was off work already and would let the service department/supervisors know what had happened and take care of it for us no problem. He repeatedly apologized for our inconvenience and reassured us multiple times that he would make sure this issue was resolved. Unfortunately, after numerous times of calling repeatedly no one ever helped us and the only supervisor who would actually answer our calls *once* was Tim, and he repeatedly told us that his detailing products were top of the line quality, yet refused to provide me any details about the products, and furthermore explained that it must be due to faulty rims... all four rims.. were faulty... right why didnt i think of that. Aside from that the detailers also broke the cap that goes on the armrest and we were never notified but at least they kindly placed the broken piece in the center consul so that we could figure it out for ourselves at a later time. But anyways, after weeks of trying to get into contact with them so that they could fix their mistake with the rims, which we were reassured would happen numerous times by the sales rep, we finally gave up and ended up having to pay our local tire shop that initially installed the rims to replace all the bolts and lug nuts.Besides that, the sales rep also told me when i came back for the detail he would make sure the passengers mirror would be fixed because it will not move up or down unless done so manually, well when i came back he said he couldnt fix this after all because they had already replaced too many things on this car and had to fix something with the engine that cost them a lot of money to repair *which was never disclosed to us when we were purchasing the vehicle. AND the first time we drove it home we noticed the brakes felt off and were not working properly. We also brought this up when dropping off the car for the detail and we were later told that they had put the wrong brake pads on initially but were told not to worry because they put the correct pads on now and even if we continue to hear squeaking not to worry about our safety because we were totally safe.Pictures below of before & after they ruined our $1,100 rims.Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else because if you encounter any kind of problem you will not be helped. The only time they provide good customer service is when they are taking your money and after the contracts are signed they could care less about any problems you have, even when they are caused by members of their own staff.

Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. Nice and clean location. Only negarive would be the 2.5 hours I had to wait for an oil change. I had an appointmet for 7am and my car wasn’t done until about 9:30am.
So glad Lexus dealer FINALLY have car wash working because it HASN’T BEEN for past 2 years that we’ve had the car.Also, mechanic did not ‘reset’ mode to no longer display ‘maintenance required’. Rethinking if I will do further business with this dealership.

No I would not recommend Lexus of Cerritos. I bought a used RX and right away there were some issues with the A/C and the back door. Also they sold me a used car with a pending recall. Why would they not work on the recall / fix the issue before they sell it? I have no idea. The service department was also not very helpful. The car has a 90 day warranty but supposedly all the issues with the car are not covered by the warranty. I would not recommend this dealership at all.
I have never received great customer service like that before, from the time I arrived to paying my note the agent found ways to help me and save me money by applying a coupon that I didnt know that it was available.Very courteous, knowledgeable and their expertise on the matter is of the utmost.I will recommend!Thank you very much Pedro Palomera.

I had a 5 star experience at Lexus of Cerritos. I got a good deal on my dream car (MercedesBenz S63AMG)Elmeera was extremely professional and helpful and got the whole thing done regardless of my bank giving us issues. I was and still am a complete psycho and she always maintained her professionalism. She even got me a good deal on having a second key made (the car only came with one which isn’t out of the ordinary when the keys are expensive to duplicate) I’m very grateful for their tolerance and graciousness.
I love my new 2021 GX460. But when there was a problem with the seat belt, the service department jumped to fix it. Dorothy was amazing in customer service. Couldn’t have done it without her. And picking up the car was a breeze with the assistance of Aurora at the cashiers desk. What a team!! Thank you Lexus of Cerritos!
I purchased a Car. My sales lady was great everything was going great until we were ready to leave. I went to the get some water bottles and another associate seller was screaming to me ( No No what are you doing?) I informed her I was getting some water. Everyone was looking one like I was stealing something. That’s when my salesperson was telling her to stop then proceeded to talk to her in their language. I never felt so embarrassed and judged. NEAVER judge a book by its cover.
Nice dealership, staff seemed friendly. I think if you were to buy a used car, just buy a Lexus. I feel they dont care about any others brands but the look of the dealership, you would think that all their vehicles they sell whether a Lexus or not, should be close to perfect. My MDX is good, condition is not bad at all and it runs good, but i guess its little details that i am noticing that any dealership should go through and fix. Would make the look of the vehicle closer to brand new.I had to replace the battery that evening after I got home and the car sat for a couple hours. Navigation and radio became locked and there is no card that has that info. I eventually found the code for the radio online luckily, silent car rides are not always fun, but the navigation and back up camera is still locked and now need to go to Acura to have them reset the pin and give me a new one. A lot of little things missing, half of the plastic cover under the car was hanging down and not secured to the bumper (was missing the 6 or 7 clips). Also only received one key the was beat up, key doesnt close all the way, the lock button needs to be pressed hard to lock and the remote trunk button doesnt work at all. The car overall is good, just several little things.

Be Aware! The Service Center can not be Trusted!I purchased my vehicle used and certified from Cerritos Lexus and had the extended warranty and only have had it serviced by Lexus dealers. I brought my car into Cerritos Lexus for a regular routine oil change and had absolutely no other issues with my vehicle as I just had it serviced by Lexus dealer in the inland empire less than 1 month ago only to be told that I MYSTERIOUSLY now have a major repair transmission leak that will cost over$3000 to repair! What a way to take advantage of a loyal responsible Lexus owner! Unacceptable!
Over all I expect a long wait because it is a dealership, I went for the standard oil change as a free service and to get my breaks checked, they told me I need front and rear breaks, I knew the front breaks were due to be replaced, but I questioned him saying the rear breaks. He quoted me a price. I went elsewhere, everyone knows dealerships are expensive ($400). Apparently I did not need rear breaks only front. So I saved over 75% of my money with an honest and fair mechanic 👨🔧. Always double check ✅
I am very unsatisfied with my service I took my car for service on 9/18/21. The advisor Dorothy called me saying my car was ready I went to pick it up on Tuesday 9/21/21 and the same day I had to return it, it was leaking a lot of oil and it was making a noise. I go back on 9/25/21 to pick up my car again Dorothy called me saying my car was ready and as soon as I get into my car the check engine light came up and the check engine visit your dealer message came up.I immediately take my car back to the Lexus dealer and the advisor Alex Cruz said he couldn’t do anything because they were closed. I was very frustrated and upset because I’ve been dealing with this for a week and I take it to the dealer and they mess up my car more. I left my car there and they gave me a loaner. I have no idea what type of “certified” people they have working there on cars because my car only needed the 20,000 mile oil service and after that my car has been having issues and it has not been the same. I just want my car fixed from Lexus in Cerritos, but after this I will no longer service my car there.
Why did I have to remind them to take the pre-paid oil change out of my bill? That was a $60 overcharge. That should not happen.
My wife and I bought a previously owned car. Working with Peter was great. He responded promptly to all our questions before we made the long drive to see the car. The price was comparable to most other dealers and the best part was there were no dealer add-on fees that occurs at a lot of other places. It was one of our better car buying experiences.
I just purchased a brand new Lexus from here last week and already it has been the worst experience.The new car I bought arrived to the lot 2 days prior and only had 4 miles on it. After purchasing it in cash, I was told that the second key was missing. The sales dude brushed it off saying they would find it and send it to me, only to be told a week later that it was lost and I would need to bring the car back to program a new one. Who the hell loses a key for a brand new car?So after taking time out of my Saturday to drive 45 minutes from Irvine, I arrived on time for my appointment only to be made to wait 25 minutes just to check my car in. Another hour passes before being told that the extra key they had didnt work and they would need to order a new one. So I wasted over 2 hours of my time for absolutely nothing. The best part is, they want me to bring it back again and wait another 2 hours to program the key, when it arrives in a couple of weeks.Its not even like I got a good deal for this car during this inventory shortage. If I had bought this car at literally ANY OTHER DEALER IN THE US, I wouldnt have to deal with this BS. So do yourself a favor, go somewhere else for a Lexus. Anywhere else.
Overall I am pleased with the service and the vehicle I purchased. I was in and out in under 2 hours. The staff was very helpful and efficient. Im still trying to figure out why I received a 7% interest rate when my credit score is 725
The service was excellent with Sonia! They took care of me and my son while they worked on my car. My car was returned in great condition and nicely washed. Great customer service!
Everything went well on my service appt except for one thing. My car is 1 year old and I have never gotten more than17 MPG although the sticker clearly says 20 city, 27 highway. I was told that everything was fine on my car.
I would highly recommend Lexus of Cerritos dealership. I bought a brand new RX 350L. I wanted the pearl white exterior color. Unfortunately, the color was not available with the options that I was looking for. Chris and Marlon were able to find my desired interior color, caramel, with all the options that I was looking for. Even though the exterior color is not my first choice, I am happy with this purchase. They were professional and treated me with respect.

I was trying to buy a car here yesterday. They told me I cant put a deposit on it to make it fair for everyone, which is fine, so I said to call me when its ready and Ill come in and buy it. I was told it passed inspection and just needed to be cleaned. Then, they say that I cant come in to buy it because they lost the keys. This morning, I call and speak to the manager to ask whats going on with the car and he says it hasnt passed inspection yet, which the day before they said it did, so confusing. A couple hours after I talked to the manager, the salesperson calls me and says that actually the car sold last night and the keys were missing yesterday because one of the other salespeople hid the keys so they could be the one to sell the car. How is that acceptable??? I dont want to get my salesperson in hot water because he was very nice and appeared to genuinely be trying to help me. I appreciated him and he was very helpful. However, I am mad about the overall management and that another salesperson HID THE CAR KEYS so that no one else can sell the car. Unacceptable and unprofessional

My sales agent Chris Hung was always kind and prompt with any questions I had and helped me to get the right car I have been wanting. He and John Shea were very courtesy throughout. John took the time to go over what I needed when the car was delivered. Thank you! I would have given Cerritos 5 stars if it werent for an unpleasant part with the finance department personnel.When we asked for some clarifications, or questions, or declined extra optional $$ packages he was overall short and seemed irritated at us. I completely understand it has been perhaps a long day for him and it’s getting late by the time he assisted us. However, as you know the finance papers & its jargon of terminology is not common to those not in the same field. So, it would’ve been nice if he could’ve briefly explained it to us when we asked on some of the more confusing documents. He would answer, “You just have to read it yourself.” Of course, we were not asking for a full explanation, otherwise it would’ve been all night. So I just signed away to get it over with. I didn’t want this to dampen my excitement when finally I got my car.
I completed most of the negotiations via email and text BEFORE I went into the dealer to test-drive and sign paperwork. They gave me an out the door price in advance which they stuck to without any hassle. The sales rep., Jeff Lee, was professional and courteous; he did a really good job. I would give the experience 5 stars except for how long it took to complete all of the paperwork in the Finance department. The Finance Manager was actually really good but there are SO many legal requirements and hurdles to overcome that, even though I was just writing a check, it took way too long. Admittedly, this is not really the dealers fault, but I hope the industry in general can find innovative ways to speed this process up.Overall, one of the best new-car buying experiences Ive had.
All I can say is that they have the worst level of service Ive experienced. I first called to make an appointment for an estimate, they tell no appointment necessary just show up between 8am-5pm and should only take 10 min. So I show up, no one acknowledges me for about 15 min. After checking in they tell me that the person that is suppose to help me that I need to see Jim Rossier but hes not at the dealership, they tell me to go to the collision center and look for him there. I go there, Jim is not there, and they tell me to wait for someone else... I wait an hour and still not help! Obviously you dont need or want my business, Im taking my business elsewhere.Quick update, I called to speak to General Manager Jay and hes not available... I tried Johnny Garcia, shocker, hes not available either. Its definitely the worst Lexus dealership Ive ever been too. Please save yourself the aggravation and go somewhere else, they really dont care about the Consumers.
If you are looking for worst customer service you should chose lexus cerritos, no wonder why they are still stuck with old stock. i sent them message to acquire about new vehicle and i end up not getting any reply from representative, i sent him message again again no reply, after week or two i sent message to general manager he was like invincible, his reply was o well yea my associate will get back to you (it is not my job) . and guess what no reply from associate . now i know from where these dochebags are getting this kind of trainingGO TO LONGO LEXUS IF LOOKING FOR GOOD SERVICE IN SALES
Malachi was the best salesperson ever. He was very pleasant, helpful and very much knowledgeable with the Lexus car. He answered all my questions. I feelat home every time I come to Lexus of Cerritos. Maybe because of the clean-environment, pleasant people and very knowledgeable staff.
