I could not believe how much organic foods they carry. Yeah! The pricing...well...if I had been at a big box grocery store...it would have been over 250.00. It was 175.00 as I am stocking my shelves in case of an emergency. One downfall for me was having to brag my groceries. They had a few boxes available. Next time Ill bring my own bags. Quite clean and shelves were stocked properly. Nice and neat. I know where I will be shopping from now on... ALDI
ALDIs is a new supermarket in our area. Their prices are very reasonable. My husband drinks cranberry juice, and there own brand cost much less. And he took a blind taste tast by drinking a little of each, and chose the brand from ALDI.
Aldi is a grocery store and more. Great produce and food but also interesting items for you home, children and Pets. Foods from all over the world and great prices.
My favorite store from the Midwest. Cant wait until there are more in Arizona. Great products and prices.
I like this grocery store. Nice deals. I recommend checking them out but remember to bring your own bags plus a quarter for your cart if you need one.
On numerous occasions the electric chairs for disabled have not been charged. To day just 2 were available, unfortunately the one remaining was not charged overnight as had it been would last a full 12 hours. So my wife and I struggled around the shop using a wheelchair and my wife holding all the groceries. If this was a one off I would not be writing this feedback, but like Walmart its the norm at the Chandler Aldi store. I have mentioned this on many occasions but no one seems to take any notice. If this is Aldi way of reducing the number of disabled customers then you are doing an excellent job
The store itself is decent, however there is one rude cashier there that literally throws a tantrum and starts proceeding to fight with you if you grab the cart from the front of the store.Come on Aldi, fire that ogre and get good help in there
If youve ever been to a real Aldi in German youll understand the system, yes the store is small most of the selection is their own brand name, prices are fair the store is cleaner than most Frys I did expect a few more German products. If you do find something you like dont expect it to be there the next time you do back the stock is rotated a lot or just small quantity is bought
Absolutely LOVE this place and Im SO glad they finally started opening locations in AZ! Its a bit different than typical grocery stores, but once you understand how the store works, youll love it. They are all about efficiency, and saving money, and those savings are passed onto their customers. They sell mostly their own branded items, but the quality and taste of their items are Amazing and do not lack like other generic brands. Youll also need to bring a quarter to unlock the usage of one of their carts, you either bring your own bags or buy theirs, and you bag your own groceries. Again, all of this is done to save money as it assists in not requiring as many associates to manage the store. The savings are then passed onto the consumer, and you see that reflected in their amazingly low prices! Freaking love this place and will be back Soon!
New Aldi Store off the freeway from the west. Working on a project to get chandler And Tempe connected by the Freeways coming in from California. New Stores going up and getting there first make a huge difference in Geopolitical funding. More info and word of mouth more FRUITS, VEGETABLES AND MONEY =^-^= Not to mention Jobs. Someone Could work at this New Aldis Faster With Pics like these :) Just saying, Germans always have good stuff. Like Ice cream 🐄
I dont mind the store, or how they do things. I love the low prices. However, my complaint lies with the restrooms. I dont get how they can have bathrooms that literally accommodate everyone but still have one huge flaw. There is absolutely NOWHERE to hang a purse, bag or diaper bag. It may not seem like a big deal to most people but having to juggle my purse the whole time is infuriating. Please spend the extra 5 or 10 dollars for a freaking wall hook, Aldi.
Highly disappointed in what Aldi had to offer. As the parent company of Trader Joes I expected to find more Vegan-Friendly items. While the store was clean, the offerings were sub-par as was the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff (only because it seemed extremely low-staffed).
Store is so neat and clean. So happy they had what I was looking for. All the produce looked fresh and really good.
Had spoiled meat but easily replaced the items but not worth driving 30 minutes 😒
Really clean and usually fully stocked. Great employees that are always friendly and helpful
Aldi has become my primary grocery store hands down. They (seem to) care for their employees and have great prices on their wide selection. In my experience, most of their name products are comparable to true brand names (such as Tyson and stouffers) as well as the premium grocery store brands like Safeway or Frys. Super worth at least a try, especially when the prices are so low here.
I dont remember Aldi being so expensive growing up in my Era, you use to get can goods for 25 cents. Now I know over the years prices have went up, I get it, but some of the prices, for other stuff are astronomical for Aldi brand. Otherwise, nice and clean
As someone from Germany, this place obviously is a nice little reminder of my home an ocean away. I have no complaints, just as any other Aldi, I love the little bits and bobs, odds and ends, bells and whistles that they have. I will say though that whenever Im there they always only seen to have one cashier but its not a big deal since its not super busy.
They have unusual things just like in Germany . Thats good. Hahahah
Best grocer yet. I drive from Tucson to buy only there! Amazing team. Clean. All you need and more.
It was ok, nice and clean except for the restroom, and they charge you to use a basket, haha that was neat!
I just moved to Arizona and had been looking for one. (Aldis) Finally I found one and I was so happy that they are adding more locations as well. I love Aldis
Everything is over priced. I will stick to shopping at walmart. Similar items are at walmart at a lower price. Not worth tge drive.
Great little store with AMAZING prices. Never been to one so we decided to stop in. Persian cucumbers were $1.79 for a whole bag, 2 large zucchini were .79, and iceberg lettuce was .49! Great little finds. Great store for people on a budget or college students. Things to know: you need to put a quarter into their shopping carts in order to use one but you can get the quarter back as long as you put the cart back in the cart return. You also need your own bags or you can purchase their reusable store bag for 2.00 or a paper bag with handles for .10 each. they have their own brand like every other store, called Clancys. Happy shopping!
Nice store. Clean and well organized. You pay a quarter to rent a cart but get it back when you return the cart. They bags also cost paper is $0.10 and plastic is $0.20 I believe. You also have to bag your own groceries. They have good prices but they do carry a lot of off brand things. They have a few name brand food items but more off brand. They also sell alcohol
Store was very clean, the produce was fresh and looked like it gets rotated regularly, friendly staff, and really good prices. Definitely recommend!
I always ck the Aldi add that comes in the mail to see what they have on sale. Excellent sale prices BUT they do not carry as complete an assortment as Frys or Safeway. Never got bad food at Aldi. Their price on 🦃 last Thanksgiving could not be beat. Basically they have most everything just not 8 choices on strawberry jam only 3.Meat was great; vegs always fresh and tasty. So spend less BUT know what you want before you go. Be prepared to bag it yourself.
If you STILL READ LABELS & CHECK PRICES then you can get good deals! Other wise it can just be a tourist attraction!
Luv Aldi s. I have shopped Aldis since the 70s when they were can goods only. So much more now with fresh produce, meats, & frozen foods. Wine section also if you like!
I LOVE Aldi and Im glad that they finally opened up in Arizona! The store only has 5 or 6 aisles which makes it much faster and easier to shop and takes a lot less time to find what you want. The selection of products is amazingly abundant even organic foods.
Too small limited items price was not comparable to other stores Ill not be going there again waste of time but try it for yourself
Aldi is a different type of store. I went here and found that you have to pay for a cart. Ok its only 25 cent no biggie but I have never experienced this before. Lady walks up and offers her cart. Cool thx, then expects me to give her 25 cents. Again its not about the money but the interaction. She had a horrible attitude cause I was confused. Well that and no bags. No biggie yet again. Just be aware to bring change
Aldis is a great store. They keep it very clean and friendly employees super fast checkout and overall great prices. Glad Aldis moved to the Phoenix area use to shop there years ago living in the Midwest.
Clean, modern, decent prices. There is a nominal cost for shopping carts and grocery bags.
A lot of the produce was not the freshest. Saw rotten potatoes in the bag we were going to buy. Also several items were picked over & little selection on many items. Not all that impressed.
Love this market! Always find great deals!
I love this store! I grew up near them and am so glad theyre finally here. Even though their selection is not as vast as some stores, what they have is excellent at great prices. Their Live G Free brand has some of the best gluten free items I have ever tried, especially their white bread. Their stock changes, so definitely check back often to find something new or a returning favorite.
First experience and it reminds me of fresh and easy meets winco ...love it I live hella far and Ill be back weekly
Love this grocery store . Best prices & fresh fruit & vegetables
I always shop here and what they sell changes from time to time so its not always the same stuff Wich I like because then Im more likely to try new things which Im always up for.
Very close to the Aldis I have shopped at in Germany and Netherlands. Nice place to shop
This place is ok not great. They have good deals on some things.others seem overpriced. The quality on many items is not great. A loaf of bread that we bought got moldy within 2 days and the fresh green beans were moldy and brown in the middle of the bag. Didnt notice that when we got them. It was worth checking out but I probably wont return.
Cheap groceries, clean store, fast customer service.
It is always an enjoyable time when I get my Aldis pick-up. A big thanks to Molly for her great service and very pleasant personality. Very efficient and accurate.
Our new favorite place to shop! If you havent been here yet you need to check it out. They have great prices, quality products, and a variety of options youre not going to find at other local grocery stores.Bring a quarter to snag a cart. They chain them together and a quarter releases your cart. When your done you plug your cart back in and get your quarter back. They do charge for bags but we always have our own so this doesnt bother me. I recommend bringing your own bags 🤙
I enjoyed this store. Not very big, just a little bigger than Trader Joes. Very good prices. Will definitely go back. Remember to take your bags, as they charge for theirs.
Great Place to shop! A must & is my answer to all things that drive me crazy at Trader Joes!! Just remember to bring a quarter for the basket & bags for shopping! 😍*Restrooms are a bit on the dirty side & need a lot of help when I went but store was really clean. Thats the 4 stars!
Fell in love with Aldi in Indiana, so glad to see them coming out west. They are like a discount Trader Joes. Love their food, but especially love their prices!
As always a very organized, clean, and handy place to stop and get your produce and more. And we were really amazed at their wine selection and the quality. Service was great and parking was very convenient.
Very neat. Lots of great prices on generic items. Excited to try the generic brand food. I love that the cashes get to sit down while working.
Great prices and so many options for different eating styles. The prices are unbeatable. The staff is very friendly and know the products. We love their produce section and the Living G Free line of gluten free products.
Was a little disappointed.. expected a full size store ... Its more like a Walmart neighborhood store... Good for what it is.
So glad to have a local store! Great prices!
Good quality products! Amazing prices!
Ive heard really good things about this store from folks who have these everywhere. I was underwhelmed and left with only a couple of things because I drove all the way out here. Things to note if youre not familiar with these stores: a quarter is required to use a shopping cart- you get it back when you return it. Bring your own bags or purchase them at checkout.
What a fun store! Lots of goodies here that you wont find anywhere else. And yes, they have the famous red bag chicken!
I live 20 miles away. I still make the trip and shop for groceries at Aldis. Great prices and great selection of food. The lines can be long but the staff is fast.
Aldi has very good prices on very good looking and good tasting produce. Very happy with first time purchase
Clean kind staff and always good finds
I got so much stuff and saved so much I couldnt believe it! I was able to get all of the fruits and vegetables I wanted. The store is so clean too! They dont have EVERYTHING but you can definitely survive on just what they have.
Need to charge the disability scooters. I was unavailable to shop.
Great prices!! Im familiar with Aldi, having lived back east in Ohio.
I have always liked this store however the past few times some of the produce I’ve purchased has been bad. Onions and romaine were moldy inside when I opened. The bags were half good/ half bad! Make are you thoroughly check all the produce before you buy!!!
Would have gave this a 1 star after the first visit, not understanding their product line...inside of the store is a step up from a 99 cent store, aesthetically not pleasing. But, the store is well organized and the product is very reasonable, organic product is much less then other chain stores. I look forward to testing their products and have a Mama Cozzis frozen pizza in the freezer wanting to eat soon, heard amazing things. The merchandise in the store throws me off and knocked a star off for that, rather have more food choices. Also, the 25 cents for a cart...not a big deal but its a hassle, especially when it will be 100 degrees and you just want to get home with you cold goods, should offer hand baskets at least.
Edited to add: I tried the grocery pick up option through Instacart and it was the WORST experience ever. I am a very regular online grocery pick up user. The employee who came out with my groceries did not say a word to me and half my order was missing. It was a very odd experience. I will stick to shopping in store at Aldi.Original review:Im so happy Aldi has come to Chandler. Its a wonderful little grocery spot. They have plentiful choices, dye free options and Gluten Free options included. They have lots of items that are unique to their store. You see new things all the time. Some things are only available for a limited time, so thats the only downside. You cant get too attached to any one thing. Bring your quarter for a cart and you will get it back when you return the cart. Its a genius model that ALL grocery stores should really implement here.
Very new business. So well designed, this outlet is soon to be the model for all of America. Please expand this business, I promise I will encourage my friends to purchase here.I have purchased in Aldi stores in 6 states. The west will welcome this improvement in value shopping. Thank you Aldi for coming west!
Nice little new off-brand food store. Prices good. Bring your own bag and a quarter for the cart. My daughter works there.
LOVE Aldis products!!! So happy that they built a store here! Reason for 2 stars are the female employees.. they are the rudest most pretentious people Ive ever seen employed in a store. They have horrible attitudes and treat customers as though they are in their way. Its really sad. Not sure why they hired women with such horrible personalities and attitudes, because ultimately, that is going to be a factor in the store doing well or not long term. Weve been there a few times now, and each time we were treated horribly by the females that were cleaning the floors, the bathrooms and working the registers. If they hate their jobs so much, why work there?! Just get a different job. Would highly recommend the store manager hiring secret shoppers, youll see what we are talking about.
I heard of this place on TV and I thought I would check it out so I pulled in the parking lot and when I went in it was very small about the same size as the dollar tree in the same Plaza, they had very little items, they dont carry Bounty paper towels just their own label, their prices are higher than WinCo and Frys, and when I checked out I paid with a hundred dollar bill and the line behind me was backed up and the cashier short changed me out of twenty dollars, I wasnt impressed at all
I CANT EVEN BEGIN TO EXPLAIN MY EXCITEMENT. THIS WAS THE ONLY PLACE I SHOPPED FOR GROCERIES. WHEN WE MOVED FROM PA TO AS A YEAR AGO. I WAS TRULY SAD TO LEAVE ALDI..GREAT FOOD..GREAT PRICES..GREAT SELECTION...DIFFERENT PRODUCTS AND SAVINGS..I PERIODICALLY GOOGLED AND THERE WAS MENTION THAT ALSO COULD BE COMING UNTIL I EVENTUALLY FORGOT. DRIVING THROUGH CHANDLER THE OTHER DAY I SAW AN ALDI SIGN AND YOU CAN ONLY IMAGINE MY EXCITEMENT AND HERE THEY ARE..THEY ARE HERE AS PROMISED!
Its just okay. Prices are good but I have definitely seen better at WinCo just around the corner. I dont carry change and not being able to get a cart without a quarter is a pain. Maybe its just this store, but it seems to be about half the size of a regular grocery store. Not a great selection.
I love their fresh produce and pancake mix. Price is good and their produces are like farmers markets.
I want to give aldi a higher rating, but given their business model of not taking phone calls when customer service is needed, I cannot go higher than three. I was returning my cart to the front when a car came up behind me and honked. A man yelled at me, likely because of my decision regarding mask wearing. I felt very unsafe going back to my vehicle as a young woman alone. I cannot decide if I will be able to go back to the store by myself, in fear of my safety. It concerns me that I cannot call a store manager in Chandler Arizona to share this. I was told that I could go on to the website when I reach an auto message, but that doesnt take care of the immediate problem. Its just my hope that a store that prides itself on excellent savings will pride itself on being able to take care of immediate needs like this one.
Quick stop for grocery needs and the prices cant be best. My daughter loves their strawberries, wont let me buy them anywhere else!
Im so happy Aldi is finally in Arizona! There are very few Aldi brand products that I havent liked. Extremely affordable and great quality!
Aldi has never let me down when it comes to good deals for the things I need. Tbh, there is not an incredibly wide selection of stuff there (that only applies if you go there a lot, which I do) but everything is at a great price and its always well organized. I am a big fan of Aldi!
Seem good for a first time visit. Fair selection, good prices, sort of a nice warehouse. Good veggies, fruits, meats, dairy. Lots of packaged foods, some wines and beers. Nice
Had 1 in Illinois so drove from Tempe where I live to check it out and loved it. Bring one to Tempe soon please
Neat store. Unique products, great place to shop.
Clean, well organized store. They have the live g free bread which is best by far. Also found ham that is gf. It is difficult to not overshot when I go. Very friendly staff helped go into the back and find the live g free bread for me. We use to travel to purchase 9 loves at a time to last 7-9 months. Very happy they are open and friendly.
Love that its just across the street from my work! I was wonderfully greeted by 2 enthusiastic and caring employees at the entrance asking if I needed a cart, found an employee at every isle either helping a customer or refreshing the product bins as they ran low, and even had a very patient cashier who let me back in after I realized I hadnt paid for the toilet paper I didnt see at the bottom of my cart. On top of all that, they had wonderful prices for everything!! Ill be back again!
Was really excited to go to Aldi for the first time. Cant say I was that impressed. Dont see what all the hype is about. Certain things were kinda cheep but nothing really stood out for me. Guess I was expecting more. Sorry
Love ALDI... affordable. If you are looking for know name brands this is not the place for you, but if you are looking to save money and good food ALDI is your store. Clean and friendly staff.
Love this store! Lots of Europe food for good price 🥰
We love Aldi! They have the best quality diapers and theyre less than half the cost of the pampers we usually buy! They also have great prices on fresh fruits and veggies! I love waking down their seasonal aisle because youll always find something fun there for a low price! We bought the softest Valentines Day blanket there today and its so cute! Cannot say enough about how refreshing it is to grocery shop for quality goods without breaking the bank! For Aldi Newbies: bring a quarter to get a cart, youll get it back if you return the cart. Also bring your own bags or youll need to buy some! Happy shopping!! 😊
Im so happy Aldi is in AZ....just need it in Prescott now. So clean and neat and well stocked. The prices were so great!!! Bananas 🍌25 cents a pound and 45 cents per avocado 🥑 for example. Doug was helpful and friendly.
Waited a bit to visit as its new in town but it did not disappoint. Got a ton of stuff, fresh and tasty. Great price and selections I’ll be back
Great selection and great products!
Aldis is a nice store, but they get one star for not enforcing their face mask policy. I saw people in the store not wearing masks. I told several employees about this,, but was told that they couldnt do much except suggest to those people to wear a mask. I dont need to shop there if they dont want to enforce their own policy.
I used to go on NC, and is always glad to get great deals, and is always great deals and you will be amazed of there regular price is lower that even mayor chains groceries stores spacials.so you always save great and stretch your dollar. On the registers be ready to bring your own bags, because the cashier will be so fast that u have to wait for them to finish, you paid and then go to the counter in the front to bag or pack your purchase.I love the store always clean.
Love, Love, Love! All products are quality, both store brand and regular. You can get what you need without walking through a superstore size building! Staff helpful. 👍
Awesome food, fresh and tasty, home style and reasonable . Very delighted with the neighborhood restaurant!!!
Good for some items not available elsewhere.
Best ALDI I have ever visited. Clean, large, organized, and spacious. Bring your own bags, unless you want to pay 0.10$ per bag at the end. Stuff is cheap, but quality. I loved ALDI, and this one is the best one.
