Woodcraft of Phoenix is a great one stop and get all you need store for wood turners. Very knowledgeable staff and very helpful. Great selection of items to choose from. Love this place!

Woodcraft is one of those places that you walk into and at that moment do you realize how limitless the possibilities are. Overwhelmed with the amount of product and knowledge of the staff. I see myself spending way too much money here in the future.

Didnt have what i wanted (a hook knife) but what a great store. The staff were super helpful and friendly and showed me around and answered all my questions. They have a good selection of exotic wood in all shapes and sizes...

I tried ordering a product that I desperately needed for work and they estimated my delivery time to be a week which was fine Im not complaining about that but you waited till the day of expected arrival to email me saying that the product was backordered, and you dont know when you will have the product. You guys should have never taken my money if you dont have the product. Thats not right. I could have bought it somewhere else. But you knew that thats why you took my money and decided to make me wait when I needed this for work. Thanks a lot I. Sure you need the 90 dollars more than me.

I only wish it was bigger. Had great lineup of Jet lathes. I bought one and I love it. Knowledgeable staff and ready to help.

Great selection. First time there and will definitely go back. The employees are extremely helpful and willing to provide their knowledgable input when needed. Whatever youre looking for they have, from tools to product. Great hours as well! Got some amazing purple heart and tried for the first time to work wood, I will need practice, but now I know where to go for more help!

Store seems to have a lot of little things that can be used in woodworking projects ranging in complexity. Not a lot of larger pieces of machinery, but still have a few for browsing.Like others have said, this store appears to be depleting in stock and youre likely better ordering from their online store if you arent in a hurry to get something.On the staff front, they could have cared less about my existence in the store. Didnt find it welcoming or helpful at all.

I have been coming here for years, and I feel like their stock is getting worse and worse. For the last several months it has felt like a store that is getting ready to go out of business. They don’t have the things that I need, don’t know how to find them, and often just refer me to their website where I can order them and pay for shipping. While in the past they had great service, it has definitely been on the decline over the past year or so.

Lots of wood working equipment and supplies. Ask about their classes.

Great customer service.Ive purchased a few thousand dollars worth of tools from there. The help and service has been great. I like being able to call and if an item isnt in stock, they order it and call me once its in.

Very courteous and knowledgeable personnel. The displays are very complete and self educational especially Kreg. Festool left a little to be desired but they’re out of my price range anyway. But I found myself captivated at all store offerings. Being from Casa Grande, this is a convenient location by driving up 87 from I-10

They were unorganized and only have maybe at the most 1/2 stocked with router bits

I had an issue with the store closing right when I arrived, but the manager saw my review and actually phoned me. Because of that I am changing my review to positive. You have to appreciate the effort and personal attention someone is willing to give.

Woodcraft is a great place for supplies, tools, rare woods, and advice from knowledge friendly staff. My latest visit I was helped by, Eric I believe. He helped me identify the species of wood for my small repair, He made my repair job a breeze, it looks great and is an authentic pro repair. I then bragged to Eric and the friendly cashier about another repair I made to an oak cabinet, with supplies and consultation from Woodcrafter staff & that project turned out perfectly and professionally also! Now - They just need to found a new store in Henderson, Nevada (a suburb of Las Vegas), please!

I recently purchased a General protractor at Woodcraft. Im usually on guard when I shop in specialty stores rather than at larger retailers, expecting to pay a bit more for the convenience,wider selection, and sometimes better quality. The protractor is a simple item though, no magic, no exclusivity, no snob appeal, no exceptional quality. I was a bit shocked when I got to the cashier - the protractor was over $20. I went ahead with the purchase, despite my shock at the cost, thinking well, its probably a little more here. Later in the day, I was at Lowes and out of curiosity I checked to see if they had the same item. They did, and it was $10. Was this a mistake on Woodcrafts part, or do they think their price is fair? I dont intend to stop shopping there, but my advice is to know what things should cost before you go there. You could very well pay a lot more...

Great store with knowledgeable staff. Often prices are better for high quality tools than you can get on the internet. I have been woodworking for 40 years and they are the people I go to when I have a question

I have bought many items at this store, and have also taken several wood turning classes. The people are well trained and very helpful. Yes, their prices are higher than Lowes or Home Depot....they dont get the volume discounts the huge chains do, and their overhead is a lot higher as well. And they carry things you cant get at the big box stores. But if you need detailed information on a product, they can give you expert, experienced advice. Try that at Lowes! If I have a problem at home, they are only a phone call away and can usually solve my problem over the phone...usually operator error!Recently, I needed an item that was sold out and wouldnt be back in stock for several weeks. I needed it sooner than that, so they took half an hour to dismantle their store display for me. Now they will have to go to the trouble of assembling and setting up a new display. THAT is service.

Love it. Dont know if its a sad,bad, or a good thing that they know me by name when I walk through the door lol been there like every other day for almost a month now.Needed an item for my beall buffing system they couldnt find it about an hour later I was at home and they CALLED me saying they found the part. I never left my phone number as a matter of fact I planned on ordering the part online that night! Since they knew my name they look up my number in there system. I think that is awesome not many places would go out of there way for a 14 dollar item thank you Woodcraft lol

This is a very special place for woodworkers, and artis, my husban thinks of it as an inspirational hand out and a place to share ideas. we both enjoy the people and the wide variety of wood working supplies. We are really lucky to have a store like this one in the esat valley
