Very nice, helpful and knowledgeable people at the shop. Will help you and not just sell to you. I will be back
My amp died on me so I brought it in and the staff were awesome. They told me that my issue is common for the amp I have and unless it was still under warranty (which it wasn’t), to just put the money towards a new one. I appreciate that they were honest with me and could have easily taken my money, but didn’t. If I need any repair service in the future, I will definitely come back.
Did an excellent job on my vintage Gibson tube amp! Its never sounded better!! Wasnt as much as I thought it was gunna be. They got it back to me a day early too. Great staff very personable. I will definitely come back if I need something fixed again! Thank you!
Excellent, took my equipment in, they wrote down what the issue was, I checked out. Few weeks later finished. Nice people.
Fast, friendly, and they know thier craft. They have earned my loyalty, from now on I will buy my electronic needs from them. Good job keep up the good work!
Great place and great people these guys helped me fix what I needed and did with professionalism and speed. I couldnt be happier with their service.
My questions were answeredvwell and descriptive and good directions. Also gave me tonys name. The guy im supposed to meet
Wonderful people, fantastic, professional, and great prices
These guys where relatively quick on analysis of my situation. I expected it to take much longer. The pricing was exceptional in relation to the electrical work necessary. Id go there again for any similar concern. They also have a decent selection of string and brass instruments.
Now that Ive hit every repair department at M-troniks I just have to say something. I took in a very sick Roland Space Echo that Tony completely rebuilt, motor and all, for half what youd pay buying the parts and doing it (badly) yourself. He also modded it with an impedance-matched line input. So amazing! The shop also re-tubed a tube-hungry Marshall 9200 for a very fair price. I just got two keyboards back from them -- a Yamaha Electone YC-20 which is now playing beautifully (it wasnt even making a sound when I took it in and needed a lot of other work). Justin did a KILLER job! Wasnt cheap, but it shouldnt be for such complex and specialized work. Justin also fixed up my Wurlitzer 140b, resolving the horrendous hum and installing a mod to separate the tremolo depth from the speed. VERY COOL, and that was extremely reasonable considering what work on a 140b costs elsewhere. Based on the confidence I have in the shop I dropped off two guitars with Oscar. He communicates really well and you can tell right away hes the kind who knows whats up. So today I dropped off a Benge trumpet for Colin to work on. I think thats the whole team? Sorry to anyone if Ive backed this shop up for you, and Ive seen nay-sayers complain about turnaround times etc. All I can say is, hey man -- GET IN LINE. You do it at good restaurants, you can do it here. Were LUCKY to have these guys, and Ill be doing my part to keep them in business for the foreseeable future.
Absolutely above expectations with service! Fast, friendly, and they know thier craft. They have earned my loyalty and i will send them any buisness I can. I HIGHLY recomend this buisness!
I bought a bass from a garage sale a few years ago. It was a buzzy mess and the neck was warped. Oscar and M-Troniks took a look and I got it the next day. They fixed the tones and made it playable. 5 stars for excellent effort! I couldnt ask for a better setup.
Wont return calls and didnt provide estimate. I wont be going back. No worries, Ive found another tech.
I had Oscar Westover build a LP HB single cut guitar for me. His professional quality and attention to detail was above and beyond what I could of imagined. I will be taking all my equipment to M-troniks from now on. Thanks to everyone for their help and time. Rock on Oscar!
Fixed my tube amp for a fair price and it sounds great. This is my 3rd time at their repair shop for various repairs and its been good.
I came here to get my guitar fixed after having a bad experience at guitar center and I had a pleasant experience here. The guitar tech and the people at the front desk helped me right away! I would definitely recommend this place 🙂
Took my red JA90 Tele here, and man..... They did a great job with it. Such attention to detail. They really made me feel like a rockstar with a personal guitar tech. Will definitely be coming back again and again 🤟
They set up my KOA Taylor. Now it plays like butter. Ill be taking them all my guitars.
I broke my IPhone and I thought I would have to buy a new phone. But the great people at MTroniks fixed my phone for a reasonable price.Outstanding service, would recommend.
M-Troniks replaced the noisy fan in my Peavey minimax amp, with a much quieter one, the manufacturer said it couldnt be done, but it is, and its Great!
I had a speaker get blown over during an outside DJ event. I brought it in and they were able to fix it up with no issues!Dont confuse the guitar shop in front, their store is located in the back. Best in the business as far as I am concerned.
This place is the best place to get your gear and electronics fixed these guys did an awesome job and have my gear back superfast timeline. Can you recommend a more!
Got an amp worked on. Friendly and everything is working. Took longer then i was told it would, and the communication could be a little better. Overall good service.
An awesome amp repair shop that carries vintage and boutique items as well
New ownership. The new owner personally called me based on a one-star review I left regarding the old owners, to see how she could remedy the situation. Heidi, if youre reading this, I really appreciate the call. That sort of passionate ownership is rare these days, and Im excited to give the new M-troniks a try.
I’ve worked with this company before. Last time, I remember them being a little short with their answers, but they did get the job done. I called today to ask a few questions, in order to figure out if the problem with my amp was worth pursuing a repair. The guy answering was rude. Cut me off mid sentence a few times. They said there is no way to speak to anyone who knows about amps without committing to the full repair deposit.I believe that it is fair to ask for a thirty second consultation before committing to a pricey deposit, an even pricier repair, and driving across town to leave my amp for three weeks.
Dont make a mistake and take your gear to a different shop. I come from a family of Musicians that have been playing music in Arizona for over 40 years. My Father has taken his equipment there since the beginning. M-Troniks does great work and are honest with fair pricing. I only take my gear here even if I have to drive a little further, its not worth having another shop doing a hack job. End of story.
Nice People and Easy to talk too. Service/Evaulation was not up to par even after Paying 60.00. Still don’t know what I paid for..cuz they DID NOTHING to the Unit only call me after a month of waiting and ask me what was wrong with it and having to repeat what was wrong, only for them to say Yeah sounds like the Board will have to be replaced at cost of 5-600 with labor. So turned out to be a 60.00 storage fee.
Dont go here without doing research beforehand! I bought a guitar there a few years back and when I recently tried to sell it, I found out that I paid 6 times more than it was worth! Even worse is they gave me a ratty case to go with it, so I cant even try to negotiate a better price by adding in a case. This case is one step better than a paper bag! Worst. Guitar shop. EVER!
My husband had. Some of his band equipment fixed there .did a good job very nice guys.
I am a MIDI artist performing live 2 to 4 nights weekly all year round. I have to have my gear working. The team at Mtroniks have been keeping my equipment working perfectly for a few years now (since I first found them). My mixers, synths, drum machines, everything. I have three sets of most everything, one set in my studio to produce my sequences, one set for live, and one spare set. I rotate my equipment out to them to check, clean, repair and keep me working. They have become a very important part of my team and greatly appreciate everything they do for me. I would be in trouble without them. Great group, would highly recommend them, and I do to many people, for any repairs. Thank you Mtroniks team.
Brought in some classic speakers for repair. I told them I didnt want a single scratch on the speakers. They did exactly that. Zero scratches (and the speakers sound great of course).
They fixed my fender amp up it sounds great
As a working pro musician, I absolutely recommend M-Troniks as the only place in the Valley where you should take your keyboard if it needs repairs. Jeff Naylor and his team do an excellent job!
For anyone looking to get their guitar setup, James at M-Troniks is the man! I first heard about James work when I played my friends American Deluxe Precision Bass and I was blown by how well setup the bass was. The action was low with no buzzing, had perfect intonation, and felt great to play. After inquiring on who worked on his bass, my friend instructed me to go to James at M-Troniks. When I needed to get my Taylor Acoustic setup and a new pickup installed before a recording project, I was a bit nervous to take my guitar to a new tech but James could not have been more friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic about his. James straightened out the neck, fixed the action, and went the extra mile figuring out the absolute best mic placement to get the most natural sound out of the guitar. James consistently sent me updates to keep me in the loop. I could not be more happy about the work that James did and Ive been recommending him to all of my musical friends since.
Lets not confuse M-Troniks, the repair shop, with the guitar sales shop up front. M-Troniks has been servicing my gear for the last 10 years. I would not and will not go elsewhere. Their staff is extremely knowledgeable, and is willing to work with your turn-time needs. 100% would recommend to fellow musicians.
Friendly, honest, fast!! they have helped out my band multiple times at affordable prices.
They suck! I had them do a set up on my guitar because I couldnt get rid of a buzz at the chromatic. It came back a couple of weeks later, and I took it back, they wanted to charge me for another set up. When I complained, they were rude and told me if I didnt know how to fix my guitar, I didnt deserve to own it. Took it somewhere else and found out that the bridge stability was the problem. They explained that the people at M-tronics, probably fiddled with the bridge a little got the buzz to stop and didnt understand that what they did was a temp. fix. Have not had the problem since I took it somewhere else. I wouldnt take anything back there, they are a rip off.
Fixed my speaker for a reasonable price and it was finished in 2days.
Worst place ever!!! They really do suck. Totally unprofessional. They answer the phone....hello. If they answer at all. Basically stole my equipment from me and wouldnt give back my deposit. Mtronicks......you blow.
Fast, friendly service and comparable pricing. Will definitely do business with again.
Terrible servicing...was hoping for a more professional encounter. Brought in 2 different EDEN units (an amplifier and a pre-amplifier). Had to return both units to them 3 times each and the pre-amplifier still not repaired properly. (The amplifier finally is fixed) They do not call with a status. Did not receive any call from them and when I called them, was told that they could not find anything and to bring my entire rig ..but they never called me to tell me that. Talked to David Nordschow (the EDEN designer and prior owner of EDEN) and he recommended other places for repair. AVOID this place!
Erm, uhm, yeah, they can probably fix it. Out of professional courtesy, I cannot slam another repair shop, unless they are outright crooks, and M Tronics is a very reputable shop that does very decent work. I doubt they will curve tracer match FET transistors at quiescence to bulletproof your PA, but they can fix it up just fine. The even recone some speakers too. The valley has needed that service for a while. I have not seen their new digs yet, but I hope they are not still reconing on an old AV cart. Hey, the old place was cramped & tight for space. They did great with what they had to work with, and thats what its about. Are there better shops? Probably. Are there worse shops? Definitely!!
Dont make the mistake of going anywhere else Jeff and crew are the best of the best and the best of the west!
Thorough, reliable, and honest. I trust these guys with all my gear!
Took in a piece of gear in working conditions just needed a pot replaced, they kept it for 6 months, never called me and when I called the guy working on it was never there ( Jeff the owner). they returned the unit in worst conditions and refused to give the deposit back, now is useless. DONT GO THERE IF YOU VALUE YOUR GEAR
They know their stuff and great to talk to. I will totally take my tube amps to them in the future.
Cool guys, unos their stuff
I wouldnt go there anymore the first thing they do they charge you $60 dollars just to check it weather they fix it or not your out $60 bucks and if they find somethings wrong you pay more
Fix my Ensoniq ASR-10 some about 2-3 years ago and it still works like a champ when I use it.
$60 Dollar Evaluation FEE! Seriously!REALY!
