I have been going to Tires Plus for all kinds of work on my vehicles for a few years now. This location in particular has been the best! They are great at communicating problems and updating you on where your car is at, if its become lengthy. The employees are great! Ive never felt ripped off and leaving understanding what was wrong with my vehicle and confident it was fixed! Highly recommend.

These guys were able to get me in last minute when I called to schedule an appointment with them. I was assisted by Susan- who honestly the most delightful customer service rep I have ever had to deal with anywhere. Ended up going here after a terrible experience with Discount Tire and they completely turned my day around. So accommodating and polite. I ended up going to pick my vehicle up right around closing time, and Susan still made me feel welcome and not rushed. Couldnt recommend this place enough.

Kind crews, rocket fast service.They do free basic check ups like TPMS sensor real fast. Im almost cry, its free. Dealers charge over $100, just for checking without appointment. Use local shops. Theyre good and fast.

I stopped by to ask if they could fill my leaking tire with air, (since the local gas stations air station was broken)The gentleman at the front desk (I think he was a manager) told me Were short guys and and we dont have time) and shooed me out because they were closing in a half hour and didnt want to work overtime. Ive never experienced such rude customer service in my life. I didnt even have a service done, and left with a bad taste in my mouth.

They crashed my truck in the shop and put a huge dent in the quarter panel. When the service manager called to tell me she said she hates making these phone calls...like how often do they crash peoples vehicles?!? Their corporate department was super rude as well to get my truck repaired. That guys name was Kolby. Horrible experience all around.

What a turnaround!!! Great job Tires Plus! The last time I was at this location I almost couldnt get it of there fast enough: Barely coherent trio of drugged-out seeming teenagers were not able to get me an appointment for a headlight change! 1 year later the store is remodeled and Joe, a manager, was absolutely professional, educational, and helpful. His handling of the leak in my tire inspired confidence in me again in Tires Plus. He could have easily have said I needed a new tire, or I needed 4 new tires, but it was a simple leak repair of $36!! He gave me facts about how long my tires should last and have me multiple options for replacement when the time came. Im so glad I can trust them again!

I just had two tires replaced and I was in and out within an hour. While my car was being worked on, a suggestion was made to replace my cabin air filter. I agreed after seeing it and to my surprise I had to sign to agree that the change to my original quote was done. I really appreciate this kind of honesty. Not only was the service fast and friendly but it was inexpensive too.

Brought my car in for a failed tire. It was under warranty and there was no issue getting it changed. The other 3 were under Tire Plus roadside warranty and were changed out at a prorated cost. This was all done without issue and completed that day. Great service!

We used to like this place, but it has declined dramatically. Last time I was here, they actually let air OUT of my tires down to 19PSI (glad I noticed) and also performed the wrong service. This time, the place was empty when I arrived but I was told 1.5 hours after my appointment time, completely unapologetically, that they were just starting and it would be another hour. Then it was somehow magically done 10 minutes later. Im skeptical the right service was even performed. I think this was the last straw.Mostly nice people here, but I need to know my car is in good hands.

Back when I was a Boy Scout doing my Eagle Scout project, I asked the manager if I could get some used tires for my prject and he gladly agreed and took a few used tires and they were nothing but helpful. A while later I needed my car fixed up after a road trip and did a complete check up of my car really at no cost, they said I had a nail in my tire so I got that replaced along with some brake pads. It was a quick painless process of setting up the appointment online and setting the time you want to come in and it didnt take quite as long as I expected so nothing but praise from me for these guys.

My dad and I went to Tires Plus after going to multiple auto shops (all booked solid) to try and fix a leaking valve in my tire. We got to work with Adam and he was truly incredible. Hilarious, kind, and efficient are just a few words to describe this man. After about 30 minutes Adam gave us a call and my car was ready to go! Such great service. They have officially become the location I’ll be going to for anything car related.

Exceptional! We have never had a bad experience; Gary and his team go above and beyond to help. We have been taking all of our vehicle needs here since 2012. They have always been up front with what is going on; they are always trying to save us cost where they can. When we have had multiple issue on a repair they, have always covered us... I can not say enough praise for the efforts they have given us to maintain 3 older vehicles with +100K miles on them.

I went into tires plus a little over a week ago to get some oversized tires put on my truck. I asked them to check the alignment after they put the new tires on. Everyone there was friendly as ever. Ive known the Manager Gary and the Shop Manager Chris for quite a while and they have always been helpful to everyone. They did a great job making sure everything was correct with my vehicle and they have always serviced all of the vehicles Ive owned. The post below is my sister. She is young and acts like a 2009 cobalt is an exotic car. I dont think she fully understands the auto industry and how things work on cars. But anyways. I would always recommend the guys at Tires Plus in Chanhassen. Thanks again guys!

DIDNT FIX ANYTHING AND TRIED TO SCAM ME INTO DROPPING $3500 INTO MY CAR! Took my car in because one of the tires was leaking and asked for a tire rotation and I complained of a high speed vibration. Received a call from them with a recommendation that I get a new set of tires and new struts for a total of around $3500. The tires on this car have over half of their life left. I said no and asked for just a rotation and to stop the leak. I picked up my car. Two days later the low tire pressure came on a again for the same tire. Upon inspection I found that they only rotated the tires on one side of the vehicle and didnt stop the leak. I will not return to any tires plus again. Service is slow and they cant even rotate tires correctly... imagine what else they will screw up.

Not sure what the bad reviews are about. They gave me the best price on a tire replacement and didnt charge labor to replace a headlight that had just gone out. They also gave me a quick ride to and from work so I didnt waste any free time on these repairs. Would definitely recommend them!

Worst car service experience I have ever had. Tried to charge me $50 extra for balancing when I stated the winter tires only had 4,500 miles in them from the year and to not balance when I dropped off the car. Got home and a tire looked low so I checked and was at 19 PSI, ended up checking all and none were filled to the 32 PSI as they were all below 19 PSI.

I have been to these places for three times over the course of one year, and have spent about 2K worth of services. After each visit, I always wonder why I chose this place as the customer service in this place is terrible. But, I always felt the trap that this place was close to me and they deserved another chance. Not anymore, this would be my last time to go there. I took my car in for engine work due to engine light on. Its the missed fire in the engine. They replaced the distributor and other work. A week later, my car experienced problem not starting right away. It never happened to me before. Due to the close proximity, I wonder if this is something related to the same problem that they were fixing for me. I called them to follow up on it. They told me to bring the car in so that they can take a look at it. I brought my car in. They said they would look at it but will charge me $100 diagnose fee. I felt that I shouldnt be charged because this was related to the service that they did. More importantly, they should tell me on the phone that they would charge me so that I dont waste my time away from work to bring my car in. In the end, I decided to take my business there. Its not so much about the $100. Its the customer service and the consultation service that I never receive. Some people would say this is a car shop, why do they care? I have to tell you that there are other repair shops that do put customers first even they charge me more when you compare per service. However, they provide a better customer service and quality work.

DO NOT even go here not worth the trouble/expense. I have been trying for a year now to get them to fix the damage they have done. As of now my vehicle I pay a monthly payment and insurance on has to sit undriveable. Went in for some parts to be replaced and asked them to do an oil change and when I left with the vehicle I knew something was wrong it didnt sound right. Well long story short came to find out that they didnt add any oil in when they did the oil change. When I went back in I was right there watching in the window as they looked over my truck and pulled the oil plug out to see nothing barely come out. They apologized and said they will make it right but I am still waiting. They even fired the guy who forgot to put the oil in. I am a mom with four kids who now has a vehicle that I cannot drive and I cant work or even take my kids to appointments. Oh ya and there new story is they blame me it was my fault. All I want is for my truck to be back the way it was before they messed it up and to stop giving me the run around.

Just finished up at Discount Tires for a full set of tires on my second car. First car tire replacement was unfortunately done at Tires Plus Chan. Appt at discount was for 11:30 and it 12:30 now....appt at Tires plus was for 1:00 and got out at 3:20. Discount Tires has amazing guest service unlike Tires Plus which tech Jeremy chose to justify his discourteous service making sure we were aware that he knew of the first bad review we gave...Matt was pleasant over phone but was not available when we had to bring car back to reset sensor (they failed to do at initial appt) so had to deal with Jeremy and his unpleasant attitude. When I asked for a coupon or discount for the inconvenience on two appts Jeremy said he didn’t charge us for the 80.00 sensor they broke while changing the tires....also saying it was not a huge inconvenience to us to have to return for their mistake. Well it was and we will not inconvenience ourselves further by ever returning. Discount Tires rocks!

Took my car in to replace the heater core and have the mechanics look at some steering components. They didnt even replace the heater core or look at my steering at all. They completely disregarded why I brought my car in and replaced the radiator instead. They didnt even replace the radiator correctly either some of the hose clamps werent put on all of the way and one of them was even missing which created a coolant leak and my car over heated and left me stranded in milaca. This quality of work is unacceptable and my car is now at a mechanic in milaca who is fixing all of tires plus mistakes.

Do not go here! Dishonest on every level.My tires were showing enough wear that at 24,000 miles they needed to be replaced. 2 phone calls and 1 visit to the store it was confirmed by Tires Plus that these tires were 30,000 miles tires. I made an appt to have them replaced. In the day in between I found information to show the tires (purchased there) had a 55,000 Mile warranty and would get a large credit towards my new tires that they were not going to offer and lied about what was covered. A mistake is 1 person telling me that. I had 3 different employees tell me the false information. SHAME ON THEM! I am a woman and have little knowledge about cars, they took advantage of that. Luckily my husband knew better and we were spared. Ive done a lot of business with them and that is the treatment? Go somewhere else!

Asked them to replace the front tires and do an alignment, they decided on their own to replace the rear tires because they didnt like that the tread was low (not that I didnt already have a solution for the rears before they made the decision for me).Now I have an alignment on front tires that have were worn bald on the outside due to the previous alignment issue (a blowout waiting to happen) and I have waste more of my time and money to have the alignment checked when I replace the front tires; nice way to screw the customer.

I just need an oil change. I have to set an appointment 4 days in advance, understandable if they are busy. I drop it off at 11:40 and they cannot complete it until 12:50. Hour and 10 minutes with an appointment is unacceptable. I will have to take my business elsewhere.

I really wanted to give you guys a bad review BUT I cannot because of how easy you were to deal with. I purchased winter tires and opened a credit card for the rebate. That purchase and install was A+. I was able to purchase the tires at a discount with a rebate and have them installed almost a month later per my request! Awesome.So when it came time to look for new summer tires this was my first stop to check prices on new wheels and tires. Again great service getting prices and answering my questions. I decided not to make a purchase the day I came in because I wanted to shop around. They informed me they had a special going on and that if I wanted to take advantage of it I needed to have my order in by close of business on Sunday. I did not end up making a purchase. I decided to wait for more summer specials to come around.Unfortunately about two weeks later when I received my tires plus credit card bill my current balance was $1600 more than it had previously been!!! I was not happy and immediately got on the phone to the CC company. After an hour wait on hold I was told there were two purchases made at the tires plus store and I would have to contact the store manager to get the charges reversed. So I did just that. I called in the evening ready for a battle over wheather or not I had made the purchase. I talked to Marty who informed me that the wheels and tires I had come in to inquire about had been purchased for me and that the manager who had purchased them for me would be working in the morning and that I needed to talk to him. I was a little annoyed that I could not get this taken care of right away but Marty was very polite and understanding. So the next day I waited for a call from the other manager Gary. I was ramping up for another battle to try to get the charges reversed and by 10am I could wait no longer and I called the store. I got Gary almost immediately and his patience and politeness were disarming. He immediately offered to reverse the charges. Even though he did not offer an apology his willingness to take care of the problem without any questions was a relief.4 stars because this shouldnt have happened in the first place and for the inconvenience of having to chase down a reversal. Otherwise Marty, Gary and Andrew were very polite and professional and I have had no problems with my winter tires or the install.

Bad customer service, got a new radiator put in here and they ordered the wrong one. I had to wait extra days so they could order the right one. Told them to take their time since they were already late and I didn’t mind waiting. It’s a shame they rushed it because it was put together poorly. Coolant reservoir was loose and along with a few other things in front of the radiator. A few months down the road a headlight bulb went out and I had to replace it, noticed they broke both of my headlights and they were now zip tied back into my car but it was far too late to complain about that.

I really like Drew and Gary, but their mechanics are awful. I am back for my 3rd time as they put a new catalytic converter on my 2006 Dodge Caravan and when I picked it up the first time, it sounded like a diesel truck, so I brought it back the next day, and they said oh the clamp that joins the converter to the muffler must not be the right size and there is exhaust leaking out and that is what causes the sound. So they put on another clamp, same sound!! So Im back for the 3rd time, and now they are trying a different size clamp and if that doesnt stop the noise they want to replace the muffler too....I shouldve gone to a certified mechanic...lesson learned.

For the record, obviously I cant give zero stars...Ive personally been a customer of Tires Plus for over a decade, handling Id say 90% of my general maintenance, and have never been taken for in regards to services or charges. No longer will I refer, give business to, or spread kindness of the company. ESPECIALLY this location.I recently referred my fiance` to stop in here for an oil change, of which shes never visited. She set an online appointment for the next day and went in by herself.Shortly after she was there, I receive a phone call from her stating they were taking care of a transmission leak. Problem A here....there was no visible leaking or spotting in the garage, and trust me, Id be well aware if there was leaking on my garage floor. Problem B, the cost was outrageously quoted. $430? So I swing over to see whats going on. Im explained to that there is leaking or beading of transmission fluid around the pan itself. Which, its Minnesota, and the car is a handful of years old, its bound to begin beading a drop or two. All it is, is a gasket. What? 6 or 8 screws to drop the pan and replace the gasket? Reattach? Done.So I basically stare at this guy, and he instantly drops $55 for the cost of the part. Oh, thanks. So still theres nearly $400 in labor to do this? What, are you mechanics $200/hr mechanics?We proceed to let them go at it, thinking that since its just a gasket, they were covering their backside in case there was something more detrimental. Go about our merry business, and call 2 hours later to check on the status.The lady answering the phone had no record of my fiance` in the system. Instead, her car was listed under some guys name from Minneapolis. We stated what the car was in for to prove it was hers. Were told its done and head in to pick it up. So still, on the invoice, it has this guys name, address and so forth, with my fiance` now listed under his account. So problem C in the scenario is customer privacy. We now have some other persons information. Good work. Secondly, what if they called this guy and said his car was done? Is he a stand up guy? Would he have just came and grabbed the car? Again, good work. Worst case scenario, because this is 2018 and I have to blow things up, this guy goes ahead and jacks the car and runs drugs or some BS.The bill? Still $430, $378 of which in labor alone. Anybody out there ever drop a transmission pan before? Replace the gasket? Unless they had three guys working on this for 2 hours, its not worth $378 of labor. Moral of the story is, sales margin is more important than customer service and potential repeat business, not to mention ruined future referrals and my ten plus years of maintenance service with it. Taking advantage of people, not entirely educated on less than normal maintenance is a terrible excuse of a sales person.Tires plus, re-evaluate your business ethics, and bring in a sales trainer, maybe a sales manager who can lead and train people to generate business rather than take advantage to of the business youre scraping in.Congratulations on your lost business, and remember, one upset customer means 10 bad customers, and it will take one happy customer 100 visits to bring you future business. Truth in the world of sales. Good riddance. Taking my business to somebody who cares. And if you feel obliged to hand out free this or that services, eat it. Not interested, but thanks for refunding $270 to make things right.The story behind the refund is that you charged us incorrectly, as in we charged you for an engine gasket, not a transmission gasket and blah blah blah...Well, 2 hours of labor is 2 hours of labor. Since when does a different gasket cost $270 more in labor for the same amount of time? And oh, by the way, the invoice says oil gasket. Give me a break here, admit your fault and dont try to hide behind some make it right response your poor sales and customer service training taught you.Id write more, but Im at my character limit. I would never go back to this Tires Plus in Channhassen again. I brought my wheels in for them to mount my tires on. They took two hours to get them done, since it took them that long I would expect my wheels to come back in prefect shape but no. One of my wheels came back damaged. They were scratched and scuffed. When I got home, I realized the tech mounted my tires on backwards. I had directional tires and he tried to say I didnt. He gave me an attitude because he had to redo it. What a joke! Its not my fault he mounted the tires on wrong.

Horrible experience. They tried to sell unnecessary service and when they finally convinced me to replace all 4 shocks and struts, which I didnt think I need, they didnt do it right. Front differential keeps leaking, I brought it back 4 times!!! and they couldnt resolve it. I finally brought it to a dealer and they simply put a Toyota brand seal and stopped the leak. Only good part was Tires Plus picked up the bill, but only when I threatened to sue them.

Personally had poor experience. Just found out today after an extremely frustrating relationship that Tires Plus put the wrong sized tires on my vehicle 3 years ago. This now explains my 3 flat tires and perpetual need to fill them with air over the years. (Never based on puncture) Every time I scheduled appt to get my flats fixed always got the you’re wasting my time attitude “we are extremely backed up, first availability 2 weeks out, sure you still want an appt?” And then when I would finally get someone’s ear I would directly inquire if something might have been slightly awry with my initial tire installation, I received the same sideways response every time “Minnesota winters are sure tough on tires”. One of my flats happened in summer. Actually on the first flat tire repair they did admit the person who installed the tire had done so incorrectly, reversing some part, yet they were not willing to check the other three tires to determine if same fault was present. So based on the large number of times I visited this shop over the years with their staff not recognizing wrong size tires or doing further review on their faulty initial installation proves 1 of 2 things, incompetency or dishonesty. Both characteristics have been a common theme on the previous 100 reviews so take your pick. Pick both if you like. Two characteristics you don’t want when entrusting one’s safety to navigating our roadways, or compromising ones safety when breaking down at very unopportoon times or places. Enjoyed many.My wife had also bought tires at this same location and no issue with air leakage or flats, but she has this really annoying buzzing sound that is akin to the sound you hear when flying on a commercial jet.I do have to say the customer service was superb when selling me the incorrect sized tires, however post sale their interest in the customer relationship seems to wane considerably.I would never do business with this company again, nor could I ever recommend this company to friend or foe.P.S. Learned a little physics through the experience. My car’s speedometer was always showing about 3 mph faster than my actual speed, and chalked it up to some communist plot by government to ultimately reduce road speeds. This conspiracy theory has been debunked. Function of incorrect tire size. Ding Ding.

They were great but the last two times are the last two times I will be giving them my business.My van was running rough and had them look at it and they told me I needed a new van because it had electrical problems and they could not diagnose. Even told me I could bring it to a dealer but it would be a waste of money. So I diagnosed the problem myself (thank you Auto Zone) and it ended up just being a warped distributor cap which i replaced myself and was cheaper in the end.Second time I brought my tire in with a screw in it and asked if they could patch it. They looked at it and said it was to big. Took it to Twin City Tire and they fixed it without even flinching.Once....ok, but twice? Good bye........

Great place for tires and they can get brands reasonably priced that are not normally carried like Michelin. Also do oil changes and all tire, cooling system, electrical system and suspension needs.

This place is a joke. Their service times are terrible. They tell you something will take 30 min and you end up waiting around for well over an hour. I came in asking to habe something done and they asked me if I had the parts!? Do I look like an auto parts dealer?? Avoid this place at all cost.

I had an appt for tires and free alignment check. An hour later they said my truck was almost done. 28 minutes after that, I saw my truck in front of the shop. A mechanic walked back out to it and drove it back into the shop. The manager came over and told me they forgot to do the alignment check. 10 minutes later the manager came over and told me the alignment check was done. I showed them the ad from the front page of their website that says if the tires arent done in 59 mins you get $59 off and a free oil change. The guy told me I didnt qualify for that since I had a free alignment check done. I told him even if I hadnt gotten that done, they still took an hour and 20 mins doing the tires before they even took the truck back again for the alignment check. He argued with me that I didnt qualify. Finally, after I argued back for a bit, he told me hed give me the deal but only if I got the paid alignment done. I said fine. They also tried to tell me my steering pump was leaking (among other things) but I JUST replaced it and its NOT leaking. I didnt get the free oil change coupon until my bf called them later to tell them they treated me like crap, and they had the audacity to tell my bf I lied, that they never said I had to do the alignment to get the deal. Will never go back to them. Ever.

People skills for ALL people would be good . Had a bad feeling cant even hit 3 for review . Sigh * up pricing previous vist tires plus 1500 worth of work stated : only needed 300 worth info from.professional HONEST mechanic.5 years later tried again.. desperation... BAD FEELING upon walking in listen to your gut peeps .They only acknowledge those THEY deem fit for themselves I wasnt one of them. SmhGo there good luck its gamble

Awful. They cant ever seem to get it right the first time, and the wait time (2+ hours) for something as trivial as checking one tire is outrageous. They should change their name to Everything Else, Plus Tires because clearly tires are not their specialty.

DO NOT GOT TO THIS SHOP!!!went in there for an oil change, and get a call that my motor mounts were shot there words! They did not say they were wore or getting bad.. but shot and needed to be replace and would cost me $500! My car 7 years old and on 55k miles.. that is rare to have shot motor mounts at that few a miles.. I wanted a second opinion.. Took it to Terries ( off of 62 in EP) said there is nothing at all wrong with mounts. He had three of his guys look at it to confirm..Called back to talk to Gary.(manager) told me that is not how they run their business and he would refund me my $$ as well as talk to the technician and call me back... to this day I have not heard back from them or received my refund...TRIED TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF ME FOR $500.. DONT BELIEVE ANYTHING THEY SAY!!! DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE!!!!!

Used to be a customer, but this last visit was the last straw. Brought my Tesla there for a tire repair. After the car was left for an entire day, was called back and told that Teslas have special tires, and they could not do the job. After researching for them (I thought THEY were the tire experts), thry deyermined yes they COULD fix the flat. Nothing special about the tires. Short story, was charged extra (42.47 with tax) . Was verbally should be about 20.Drove home, and simple (very small center of tread nail leak) so called repair started a slow leak again. Took it back today after calling ahead and was told no problem, they would look at it. Left it with them at 1030am. Called at 4pm, and was told we dont touch teslas and you will need to go aomewhere else. They refused to refund the botched tire repair. They kept the car the entire day, no call, nothing with no intentions of even looking or fixing a simple TIRE REPAIR. This is supposed to be their specialty.
