The staff here are AMAZING!!! I literally drive several miles extra to come to this specific Chanhassen location because the people who work here make my grocery shopping experience so enjoyable. The store is also incredibly clean and tidy every single time. Thank you for being so family friendly and making me look forward to going grocery shopping. You all are so very kind, amazing, and set the gold standard for incredible customer service!!!

The global situation has put a damper on my Aldis experience. Seasonal selections and ad items limited quantities.

I love ALDI! I have been shopping there for years. Yes it is small yes you have to bring bags and a quarter for the cart. What you get is great products that are consistent and fabulous choices for produce. They have their seasonal/limited aisle where you can find some great hidden gems. If you have not been there just go a few times and you will see why so many people love it. The quality is outstanding and the prices are better than anywhere else.

This ALDI is very new, and the store is bright and clean. Ive been coming here for groceries in the past year, and mostly can find whatever I expect to get.Like other ALDI stores, usually there are only two checkout lines (at most) open. Maybe having fewer staff is ALDIs way to keep the cost down, but because this place has never been crowded, the waiting time has never been long.I have a very pleasant experience whenever coming here. ☺

Opened on 10/16/19. Bigger layout than typical Aldi. Has all the staples and some seasonal items and special buys you dont find at bigger supermarkets. Be careful driving in and out due to busy parking lot with hotel next to it and apartment complex above it. Remember to bring quarter for shopping cart and your own bags or you can buy some bags in store.

Everything is laid out really straightforward, and I was able to get everything I needed and checkout really fast - even though there was a line in front of me the checkout workers are so efficient that it is still only a few minutes wait anyway!

Our local Aldis is ours able grocer but they dont have everything. But once you get to know what they carry you can save a lot on those items. They do carry some special items at times but once they are gone you may not see them again - frustrating if you get attached to them. Organization of items in store seems odd at times.

We frequent this location often. Impressed at the start and we were happy to have one closer. However, I’ve seen a decline as of late. They are often out of everyday, popular foods causing me to have to shop at multiple stores

Selection and prices are outstanding.

If you havent been to an Aldis before I would highly recommend it if you tend to stare at shelves and shelves of options and never make a decision in a grocery store. Aldis offers limited choices that always have been quality choices in my experience. If you prefer tons of choices for one item probably not your place.

Produce section is the best in town, but their cart and bagging system is chaotic

Love their produce!! It is the main reason I come!! And all their prices are so reasonable!! They carry their own brands, but most have been great. I like getting bargains and they have plenty. Store is so clean and well stocked.

Went to shop at this location on 10/4. There were multiple people in the store not wearing masks. I alerted the staff and they did not make any effort to speak to the customers. The staff spoke to my wife and told her this happens often and they do not do anything if people refuse to wear masks.This is putting both customer and staff at this location in danger in the middle of a pandemic.Unfortunately we will be having a different place to do our grocery shopping.

Always find little surprises while shopping for groceries

Their frozen shrimp was said to have the veins taken out and clearly upon inspection none of their frozen shrimp were. Family had company over on a Saturday evening and didnt have time to deal with it. Has happened to another family member with Krogers shrimp as well. Watch and look what you buy, they clearly are lacking in the customer feedback but more importantly the quality assurance.

Usually I like this Aldi, however, this time I was really disappointed. I saw the weekly ad with an Intex Easy Set Pool for sale for $49.99 which I was pretty excited about, given that its hard to find an inflatable pool right now and the weather is getting hot. It was supposed to be available from June 10th (today). The store opens at 9 and I pulled in at 9:02, only to find out once I got in the store that they were completely out of stock. I understand that it was advertised as a limited amount item, however what really irritates me is that they had exactly 4 in stock. Only 4! Im sure this ad went to thousands of people and they had 4 in stock. Not only that, but they let one person buy 2 pools! So 3 people out of the thousands advertised to were able to buy that pool. I think that is extremely deceptive and it makes me dislike the company. Obviously their advertising cannot be relied on. Its absolutely ridiculous that they would advertise something like that to thousands of people and only stock 4.In the future, I will return to Cub, whose advertising is accurate and not deceptive and misleading.

Brand new store. Totally clean, spacious, well organized. Greater selection than at most other Aldis. And of course the usual, competition-beating low prices...

Love Aldis; great price and nice people

This is a really horrible Aldi store. Several times I have gone for the specials and they are out of stock. Today I went for lamb chops that went on special yesterday and should be on special for the next 6 days and was told by the manager in a most unfriendly way they were out of stock. I drove to the Chaska store and they had lots of them. They Chanhassen store did not have any milk in half gallons for 10 days. Last week I asked about ice cream bars - nope out of stock. The store is not very clean and there is never enough help. You have to wait a very long time to check out. The young man that was the manager today was very unfriendly. The issues are not covid 19 related. I will drive further to Chaska or Waconia Aldi or go to Cub or Byerlys but not to the Chan Aldi.

I recognize this location recently opened and I was optimistic about their ability to serve residents of Chanhassen. I visited the store today and it was underwhelming, even somewhat depressing. Many shelves were empty and this seems like a smaller footprint compared to other Aldi locations, so I would expect them to utilizing every available inch. They staff appeared to be in a fog of some sort too and again, it could be due to the newness of the team at this location. Pricing did not seem to be compelling to other stores in the market. I am hopeful this location serves pedestrian customers as the parking is commensurate with the small footprint of the store. I will give it a few months and try again, with hopes they can turnaround the less than stellar first impression.

Unimpressed. The food is underwhelming. Its as if the food is almost good enough, but not quite. I tried to like Aldi, I just couldnt. And, isnt an expensive apartment building above a low budget store an oxymoron?

Thankful to have Aldi in my life.
