I always shop at different Walmarts due to each store having different items and prices. This Walmart is always packed and the shelves are almost empty due to shortage of help. Very convenient when you are doing other shopping in the area.
Absolutely horrid business. Disgusting store and customer service so shockingly bad I can only say “please avoid at all costs.”
The Walmart pick up/delivery team needs to figure out how to read expiration dates when they pick your items. I had multiple dinner options delivered this week that were expired and I was left ordering food. Dairy products that expired a month and a half ago! Meat that expired over two weeks ago. The meat was completely brown you didn’t even have to look at the date just look at the meat to see that it was bad. I will be canceling my Walmart plus membership and going elsewhere.
Consistently poor pickup experiences. Pickup staff is very friendly and hardworking but the system just isn’t working. You get a message saying come to the store, your order is ready, turns out they sent you that message 40 min after pickup had closed. I ended up stuck in the parking lot for like an hour calling. Other times you never get notified that your order is ready. They have signs taped everywhere to call a random cell phone # when you arrive instead of using the pickup system. Like… this system is bad broke. But literally every pickup employee is so nice.
Terrible experience with curbside pickup up! Do not recommend, and will never use again!I placed a order for groceries about $60 worth (35 items) around 11:40. I selected a pick up time of 5-6. Around 4:45 attempted to call to see if my order was going to be ready by the time I got there (5pm). I was on hold for about 15 minutes before the line hung up on me. At 5pm I got a text message saying my order was not complete and they shall text me when it is. I finally get a text at 6:55 saying my order is complete. I followed the instructions of allowing the app to use my location so they know when I arrive. When I arrived a guy came up to the window and asked for the orders name. I waited for 30 minutes! before someone loaded the groceries! I got home to realize OVER HALF OF MY THINGS WERE MISSING AND I WAS CHARGED FOR THEM!I call costumers service because by this time curbside was closed. I waited on hold for another 15 minutes to be told they could only refund my items that were missing, I asked for some type of compensation for all the time I wasted! None was provided, the guy couldn’t speak English well either so i gave up!Never again will I use Walmart pickup! Total waste of time! Every time I used Harris teeter curbside everything is perfect I will pay the $5 for them vs waiting hours only to not have half of my things! 🤬
My one-stop shopping spot for most of what I need. There are always a few one off items I cant find, but overall a good location for most things. Not a 5 * reading because theres never enough cashiers to handle the number of people in line waiting
Store was actually fairly well stocked.This particular store is always clean and feels safe. I can not say that for all Walmarts.Had not the friendliest cashier at 7:30 AM, but maybe shes not a morning person.The loud Walmart music outside on the speakers is SUPER ANNOYING! Anyone that can cut that noise off would be my hero!
Worst Walmart we’ve ever shopped at.We’ve had food poisoning twice from buying meat here, the store is NEVER stocked, anytime we’ve placed an order for pickup only half of the order has been filled so we still end up going inside to shop for the things that were “out of stock” only to find that it’s on the shelves they’re just to lazy to do their job. The last two orders have been the WORST. The order that was actually delivered was terrible, most of the order wasn’t filled and the produce that was in there already had. We ended up throwing everything out. Our final order with them was just not filled at all. Groceries should have been deliver between 5-6, we never received anything. Will not be shopping here anymore.
Certain sections of the store close before the listed closing time. Employees cannot understand how to unlock locked panels.I arrived at 9:55 PM to this location to purchase a modem for my home WIFI network, after seeing they were open until 11 PM and knowing I had a busy day the next day. I went directly to the aisle the modem was located at, as I had looked it up on their website a few minutes prior.The modem was behind a locked glass panel with other electronic devices, so I needed an employee to unlock it for me. I walked around until I found a group of employees and asked them if somebody could unlock it - one told me hed check in the back of the store because they mightve already left because it was after 10 (it was 10:02 PM). He came back not finding anybody, but with the keys needed to unlock the panel. I showed him the device I needed to get to, and he tried for a minute to unlock the glass, but couldnt seem to figure out how. He then went to look for someone else who knew how to use the keys to unlock the panel, but couldnt find anybody, so I eventually went home empty handed because he couldnt figure out how to use the mechanical keys to unlock the lock. Pretty disappointing.
The store had no clothes and the household (sheets & stuff) was empty too.
It had plenty of diversity in items, and the staff was very sweet

Excellent. I found what I needed....fresh radishes, fresh beets, purple cabbage, ginger root and materials to reupholster an office chair. The clerks were very friendly. The self check out machine was dirty. The clerk cleaned it when I asked. Another clerk in produce was working very diligently and needed assistance. She needed another person, but she continued working lifting boxes and crates full of produce that were her weight. I thought she might fall at one point, but she kept working. It surprised me that other employees did not assist her. I do not work for Walmart, but I assisted because it seemed natural to do so, and I did not think. I just reacted when vegetables fell from high up and rolled down suddenly. Later, when I was away from there I wondered why other employees did not rush to help their fellow employee. If they have that on store camera they should look for it and use that as a quality check.The clerk under all that stress still smiled and answered my questions. That was true grace under pressure. It might be they should have produce stockers work in pairs to safe guard against accidents.
Will never shop walmart. They have a scam on the bottom of each receipt and if you dont answer the same scam calling customer service it hangs up. Never Never Never again
I cant believe at one point we could not wait for a Walmart to open near us. Today, if I never step foot in a Walmart again I would consider it a blessing!!!

Your typical low-class staff that really let you know they dont care. The manager and assistant manager are very entitled individuals that will inconvenience you for fun and cant do simple math in their head.Took 22 minutes to get the correct change for a transaction that was less than 20$Yeah, these people are the ones that cant understand why 15$/hr minimum wage isnt just pay for their level of work. Absolutely no idea how someone can be so dumb, let alone two people in management positions!!
Ive never had a bad experience here, and its where I do my weekly grocery shopping, so thats a pretty good success rate!The employees have been invariably helpful and kind, and the aisles are big enough that social distancing is possible, if you dont go at a very busy time. They have hand sanitizer at the entrance and the self checkout is routinely wiped down. I think the employees here do a good job of adhering to protocols to minimize infection rates, and thats why Ive shopped here throughout the pandemic.As of the end of May 2021, most shoppers are still wearing masks here, but the rate of customers not wearing masks has been rising since it started getting warm. I think it will only get worse as it gets hotter, unless mask mandates come back. Nothing the employees can do about that, just a useful piece of info to have about a location, I think.

I went in to pick up my prescription and when I left, the attendant at the door asked me to see the receipt for what I have in my Wal-Mart bag. I told him he had no right to ask for it since I had no un-bagged merchandise. I did not appreciate being treated like a potential thief! The pharmacy staff is exceptional! Maybe the rest of their staff should take model after them. Will not be back there any time soon!
This Walmart never has anything.... I visit this store several times over a one month period because its close to my job. Kool aid jammers Out again of any kind, online orders always wrong ( according to me) For the rest that has never experienced Im happy for you. Trying to find someone on the floor to help you is non existent, price on signs never match up at checkout..

I use to work here. The department of online shopping and to be honest it has completely went down hill! In one week I had to place 4 orders for different days and either it was delayed or I was missing alot of items. One day I had to go back twice and my order was still messed up and habd to wait 45mins for my order. I would go inside and shop myself but do to some health issues this was the only way. I hope OGP starts getting their stuff together!!!

Never heard anything 6 weeks later so I came in to check up on the status. They never sent it off then offered me a gift card for refund. Pathetic store.
Came here to get my Covid-19 vaccine. Making the appointment was easy on their web page. I liked that they were administering the J&J vaccine so one and done. I received a call on Easter Sunday asking for some info to make the process faster on the day of. I was given the shot 10 minutes after my scheduled time and asked to wait around 15 minutes to make sure there were no side effects. Overall, I spent a little less than 30 minutes between entering and exiting the store.
They must really be hurting for employees here. LOT of disarray on shelves. Messy looking.
I went in to buy some cat supplies. The litter I buy is always in stock, which is great. The cat food can be kind of scarce. But I think that’s a problem for a lot of stores besides actual pet stores. Only negative thing about today’s visit was that there was a pool of water where the carts go on the inside. I’ll chunk that up to it being a rainy day and idk if there’s anything that can be done about it, but it gave me the heebie jeebies.

Very very slow service to check out. Waited 10 minutes for a service desk person to punch keys for a register. Ignoring line and many employees walking past and not doing any work no help
I live close by,but shop here less and less.The store is never well stocked.If you look at the prices on the shelves,dont expect those prices when you check out.If it was one or two items,who cares,but it was 75% of my order.The pharmacy is run well,and the people in the pharmacy are very nice.If things improve,which I havent seen in years,I will give a better review.

Excellent customer service, retail and Pharmacy staff. I deeply respect every one working at this facility. They are so helpful, all the while keeping us safe by making sure we are masked as they are and by putting in hard hours at work. Remember to thank them. They work hard and need to know we appreciate them.
I hate to even give this store 1 star for grocery pickup. They are clearly understaffed and lack a decent manager. It’s clear from my experience and other reviews that the managers aren’t concerned at all with customer service. They are consistently late with order pick up times. The email saying your order is ready is clearly incorrect because you still have to wait hours for your groceries. Can’t get anyone to answer the phone or a manager to come to the desk inside. My order pickup time was 1-2. I left at 7:30 with half my order missing. The man that bought it out assured me it was correct because he “shopped it” and that’s why it took so long. Missing 78.00 worth of groceries.Other Walmart’s never have these issues

Absolute laziness. I’ve never seen so many frustrated customers having to leave their actual carts and walk out due to the lack of attention and professionalism. I never see a manger. Not a single one. Your produce is the worst I’ve ever seen even in Covid times. You never have fresh bread or any real rolls as a choice. Half the store is cluttered and disorganized. I think your GM needs a stern sit down with corporate because to top it off, your employees are skimming everything Pokemon from the actual customers they are hired to service. My son cannot get a single Pokémon product because your paid and salaried employees scalp the products and then sell them on eBay for profit. I’ve heard jokes such as “you know ... manager keeps those in his office he doesn’t even let customers see them” That deserves the attention of the Attorney Generals Office.What an embarrassment this location is compared to the Apex Peakway one in Apex, NC. Worlds different.
There were no shopping carts available at the entry during last couple of times we were at this location. Employees were watching us go in and out searching for carts and couldnt find any unless walking all the way back to where we parked. No one helped us even we asked. We could of buy more stuff if we had a cart. These happened during 3 month period of time. Feeling very weird shopping at this location. Never go back again. Something wrong with the management there or Walmart!

If i could give no stars I would. I order a toy for my grandson on 01/26/2021 for pick up ( i live out of state) . I had my daughter in law on the person that can pick up . My daughter in law could not pick up the item on the same day so she is there on 1/29/2021. On the app it states it was already picked up. Which it has not been picked up at all not by myself or my daughter in law. talked with a manager and he was more concerned with getting my daughter in law gone then finding out we never picked up the item and they gave the item to the wrong person. The manager was rude ( i was on the phone) she left with no item and she was told its not there and there is nothing he can do about it so someone stole the item.
Its a Walmart, but its Chapel Hill’s Walmart: it has a pretty nice selection of odd and exotic products youd be surprised to find at Walmart.Its clean; bathrooms are always clean.Their cheese selection could be a little bit larger as well as their vegan selection (I know, this is an odd sentence, but were an odd family).Associates are always polite and nice, although sometimes its a bit difficult to mutually understand ourselves.

Avoid grocery pickup here. Every other Walmart Ive done pickup from - no problems. Pickup window of 1pm-2pm on a Saturday. Saw multiple cars come in and out of pickup area while waiting. Walked into store and verbally was informed they were 2-3 hours behind. Received order at 5pm. About 1/3 of the items were either substituted or missing. Staff were equally frustrated as customers and super apologetic about the whole situation. Every other Walmart Ive done pickup from - no problems.Note - the above situation I 100% attribute to management of this store. Proper handling of this situation would have been to individually call impacted customers + let them know of the situation. Customers could then make an informed decision, such as cancelling the order, rescheduling the pickup for another day, etc. None of that happened. Zero communication to impacted customers.I will not be returning to this location and rating is justified.
It was a unusual Walmart. It was shaped different and it had a very small outdoor area with no cash register. The woman that took care of me was outstanding put she warned that they were not up to par. They dont rotate their bad food out all the time and they pay thier employees way below all thier other Walmart.I will not be returning

I have placed 3 online orders with this store. They are the worst. 2 took over an hour of sitting outside waiting to get my stuff. The last time I tried to give this store a chance was yesterday. I placed my order at 10:00 am for pick up at 5:00 pm. By 6:00 I received a message my order was delayed. I finally received a message at 9:00 pm that my order was ready. I confirmed I was on my way to get my order 10:00am the following morning. When I arrived I was told that my order was not ready. I was told that the day before the team had issues and in order to “not have 2 bad days” they cancelled all the orders from the day before. They said they may have some of the things from my order available if I wanted to wait 30-40 minutes for them to find them. Absolutely the worst customer service ever. Lowe’s food is right down the street. They always have your order ready in time and call you to review anything they change. It only costs $4.95 and is well worth the better experience. Don’t waste your time at this Walmart.Inside they never have staff at the registers and you always have to check yourself out. No one is ever at the meat deli counter and staff are poorly managed.I almost never write reviews but I am just so incredibly disappointed with this store and their complete failure to care for their patrons that I thought I would warn others.

Don’t come here. This Walmart has a line of people waiting to do returns, rude rude rude unhelpful staff. Mason in particular was rude and acted like she would rather not have customers. No problem mason! I won’t be returning!They are all standing here and no one will do anything to speed up the return process. Not one acknowledges the line of people waiting - some with babies! They have open computers end to end and tell you it’s because of covid and you have to be 6 feet apart . The computers could be more than 6 feet apart and still have more than one person doing returns. Put one at each end. Then discipline mason for being so rude and disrespectful to paying customers.Better to support local and avoid this nightmare.Oh wait! After asking multiple of the ten employees who walked past the line for assistance.... After multiple customers leaving.... and it taking an average of 15 minutes per customer to do a simple return they finally open another resister - right next to the first one. Only three feet apart! Thanks for making sure we’re safe from covid with just one register Mason!When I got to the front I asked what the problem was and if they were following the protocol of 6 feet per mason. I was told they were understaffed. When I pointed out there were countless employees milling around doing nothing, I was then told all of those people were not trained. They need a new manger.Clocking 45 minutes for a simple return! Do not come here!

Their grocery pick-up service has been a nightmare every time Ive used it to get groceries for my mother. Orders get delayed by many hours, they dont answer the phone, and apparently they dont provide pick-up after 8pm even when text alerts go out at 8:43pm to tell you that your groceries are ready. To add insult to injury, they charged me for groceries that they didnt put in my car. I have had fine luck at other stores with grocery pick-up, so Im chalking it up to this store having poor management. I will not order from this store again.
Not enough cashiers on registers.Only 1 cashier on registers.Everything else is self checkout.If theyre going to pay employees 15 dollars an hour, they dont need to be standing around doing nothing like i see them doing while customers stand in line 15 minutes to pay with cash because all self checkouts are credit cards only

Terrible customer service, only line open most of the time is self-checkout, which is not ideal if you have a full cart. They are often out of stock of common grocery items (broccoli, egg whites, etc). If I go here for specific items, I often leave disappointed. The grocery pickup is very hit or miss (sometimes an hour late, sometimes they just throw items in your trunk, sometimes early and done with care). When you buy items online and have them sent to the store, the associates cant help you troubleshoot in the store if there is an issue. Would 100% not recommend.

Dont bother placing any pickup orders at this location, you will wait hours for them to bring it to your car...despite the fact that a conformation text was sent that, the order was ready for pickup. You are better off going inside, and good luck with that they are always out of many items.
Lets get those hours of operation back to 24 hours and Ill be a happy camper
Curbside pickup had been perfectly adequate since the beginning of COVID, but over the past month, its gotten slower and slower. After having a delayed order a couple days ago (which was ready two hours after my pre-selected time window), I arrived and waited well over an hour for my groceries. Even off-peak times have been incredibly slow. I thoroughly appreciate this service and all the hard work the employees do (who have all been very helpful and friendly), but its clear that management either needs to hire more help or limit the amount of people that can sign up for a given time window.

I’ve placed 10 pickup orders with this WalMart. The first 4 went smoothly. They were on time and had everything on my list. The next 3 they were out of about half of what I ordered. The following 3 they were massively delayed. I had a pick up today between 5-6. They were delayed (surprise, surprise.) I got a text at 6:05 that my order was ready so I let them know I was on my way. I waited for an hour. I’m currently breastfeeding and hadn’t brought my pump with me because I didn’t think I would be waiting for over an hour. I called 3 times and no one answered. I went up to the door and they told me they were waiting on something for my order. I told them just to forget it and remove it from my order. I won’t be using their delivery services any longer.
The electronics employee named Lukas was pretty rude. I asked to get some headphones out of the case. He was nice enough to do that however, i went to check the back of the box and he grabbed it from my hand. After telling him I was only looking at the back to make sure they were the right ones, he proceeded to get louder and say, You cant take these. I said, I know i was just looking at the details on the back. Explaining yet again that I wasnt going to steal your product. He then in a snobby voices says, Just so ya know, we dont take cash back here. I said thats fine I havw a card. Ringing up my 250 dollar pair of headphones he doesnt place then in the bag he tosses them down and into the bag. This employee is either having a bad day and needs to chill or someone needs to have a chat with him. He seems upset.
It has a lot of food and I loveeeeee all the toys there I love to play with them thank you Walmart
