Enjoyed post game meal. Started with a delicious Spiced Cider cocktail. I got pulled pork sandwich. Daughter got impossible burger which she really liked. I think we realized we got regular fries instead of rosemary fries. To be fair didnt notice until mostly eaten and did not mention to waitress. Solid pub fare. Would return and recommend.

It was actually the best feed we ate this trip. Overall I found the food in Chapel Hill to be mediocre but this was the best meal we had. Staff was attentive and fun to talk to. We wound up sitting at the bar because they quoted us an hour wait for table but as soon as we sat down there were several empty tables - no problem for us b/c we were at the bar but we noticed that there was no hurry to fill the empty table with those that were waiting. They could double their business by being more attentive to operations.

I came in here to get coffee to go as it was closer to my car and parking spot than Starbucks. Coffee and host were great, workers were busy, but the person who took my order and made my coffee was obviously on a personal call with their ear buds in when they came around the corner at first to take my order, even though they said it was a reservation, you only need time, date and number in group for that. They put the call on hold just long enough to drop my check and make my beverage then went back to the call. Since everything else was awesome Im giving this 4 stars

One of the few places that lets people dine in. The coffee there was flavorful and the Belgian waffle was good, a little bit pricey though. However, it was dark and kinda noisy inside, so it might not be the best place to study at.

My hotel recommended the Carolina Coffee Shop and with the weather being so comfortable I sat outside; other than a light mist (I do live in Seattle☔️) it turned out quite nice I I could enjoy an array of people-watching😎The Stash Chai Tea started brunch perfectly, moving onto a perfectly balanced Swiss & Mushroom Omelette (which they kindly scrambled for me) which paired with grits and a homemade biscuit. The day off brunch concluded with a smokey bitter Mezcal Negroni😄Now to see what else Chapel Hill has to offer🤔

I really wanted to like this restaurant more. Especially with its history in Chapel Hill. However, while the food was above average, the service was horrible. We had Ryan V as a waiter and he was awful. He was short to the point of almost being rude, unattentive and aloof. Drinks weren’t refilled, condiments were missing, never checked on us after someone else delivered our food, etc.The restaurant was not especially busy nor was it short staffed.Dear management; Ryan V wants to be somewhere else doing something else.We won’t be back.

After seeing the reviews I was really excited to go to this place. However, was pretty disappointed. The food was good. Not crazy delicious, but good. But the coffee was not. And for being called carolina coffee shop I was really wanting it to be good. We ordered and the waitress, Elle, was awesome. Very sweet girl and attentive. But the barista Maranda was just not doing anything. She was talking to her friends behind the hat the whole time, and we got our food before she even began to make our coffees. When we got them, theybwere terrible. I am a barista, and I know what espressos drinks should look, taste, and feel like. And they were rough. Mine was so bad I didnt drink it. Sorry if that sounds mean, but your the Carolina Coffee shop... your coffee and espresso drinks have to be on point. Again, Ellie was great! But yeah, yall need to work on the barista and drinks. I had to go down the street to Starbucks after to get coffee.

All the tables were filled and were told there was a 15 min wait. Went to the bathroom and there was no soap, no paper towels, and the electric dryer was broken. Told the hostess and she said they ran out of soap. The wait turned into about 45 min but the weather was good so happy enough to wait. Once seated we got our waters and mine tasted strangely sweet. The other 3 waters were normal tasting. So got another water. Coffee was good. I tasted 3 of the 4 dishes we ordered. Mine was the avocado toast. It was pretty much tasteless so I went to salt and pepper but only salt on the table. The waffle was cold and did not taste freshly made. The eggs Benedict was also cold and overly salty. We ordered a side of fries which did not come with the meals and noted this to the waitress. The fries then came at the end of the meal so we just got them to go. The waitress only came once to see if we needed a refills and this was also after we had finished eating. I know this is a hometown favorite but we were unfortunately very disappointed overall.

Despite every table inside being open, there was a 40 minute wait. My girlfriend and I decided to wait it out, hoping the food would be beyond our expectations. It was not. After an extra 30+ minute wait, the food was disappointingly average and some of it wasnt even cooked properly. The service was below average. Our waitress only checked on us once after taking our order. She never even offered to refill our drinks. Its overpriced for what you get. The mimosas were good though.
