Dana is very responsive and quick to follow-up with service issues/questions. I really appreciate the fact they dont perform unnecessary services. I have encountered that with other shops over the years and its not a good situation. I have been very pleased with the referral to Precision Tune from a previous repair shop I was using that closed.

This PT location is friendly, professional, and honest. The service didnt take long and the mechanics quickly fixed the issues I had with my car. I was surprised to be in and out so fast.Dana, the receptionist, is kind and she will happily help with your questions. She is very polite and helpful when answering the phone.I would recommend anyone to get their car serviced at PT :)

Starter went out on my car.Called a couple of places that couldn’t get to it for two to three days.Called Dana at this location and she not only recommended me a reliable tow service,but said they could fix it in a couple of hours.You don’t find awesome service like this as well as great customer service these days! The staff here are very friendly and helpful. I made a quick stop in to get something checked on my vehicle and they were all smiles and prompt with their service. If I ever have any other vehicle issues while in the Charleston area, they will be my first call!

Great customer service very friendly. Upfront and honest. Car was out in 2 business days really fast considering they had to take a part my engine and replace multiple parts. Highly recommend this company. Hopefully you dont need to but if you do this is the place to go. Hope this helps

Fantastic customer service and care! We came to town and rented a car, but noticed it was making an odd noise sometimes - after finally deciding to get it checked out last minute (Saturday afternoon), we called over to Precision, explained the situation, and they told us they’d be able to look at it if we came over. Within ~20 minutes of arriving, we were back on the road again with our problem fixed!The mechanic/car tech came out and chatted with us, did a test drive, put it up on the rack and adjusted a couple things that seemed to be causing the problem. Within seconds of being back on the road, it was clear the problem had absolutely been fixed!We are grateful to have been helped so quickly, and highly recommend this place to all those who are unlucky enough to have car troubles!

Dana is the best at making our car care experience convenient AND pleasant! She always gives us an honest and fair price before they do the work. She always follows up to make sure the work was done well and we are happy. The guys in the shop do excellent work. They even surprised me once by fixing my windshield washer fluid sprayer! Honest and quick, two qualities that can be hard to find in a car mechanic. I brought my car in for a minor squeaking noise. After many attempts they couldnt find anything so they gave it back with no charge! Another mechanic might have charged a diagnostic fee and an unscrupulous one would have fixed something that didnt need fixing.

Every time I come here the service is always great and work thank you for all that you do to serve the community.

Precision Tune Auto Care on Saint Andrews Boulevard in West Ashley is a good choice to bring your car to if you need a check, something small, or a larger repair. The staff here is very knowledgeable and professional and gets the job done in an efficient way at a good price. I have been impressed and happy with the service every time I have been here.

Ive been here twice: once for a broken alternator belt, and once for an oil change. Ive been impressed both times. The two words I would use to describe this place is quick and honest. Ive never felt ripped off, they dont try to pressure you, and they deliver great service at a fair price. I plan to continue using Precision Tune for my car needs.

Had an unexpected issue with my vehicle that rendered it undrivable. I have my truck towed here and they fixed the problem in a few hours. Not the cheapest service in town but their quality of work is top notch and I think thats worth the few extra bucks.

Randy (I think) was very helpful and straight forward. Great service and somebody I’ll take my truck to every time. They even fixed my steering column free of charge.

When I walked into the building, I wasnt only greeted but I was greeted by my name! Blew me away. And she talked to my kids and explained how long I would have to wait. They asked my opinion on which oil I wanted and made it a much more personal experience. I wont go anywhere else for my oil changes.

Excellent. We were on a long road trip and had to do a quick oil change. They changed the oil, topped off fluids and adjusted tire pressure, had our car in and out in 20 minutes and charged us $28 total (which is more than reasonable compared to NJ). They also have a clear glass door between the waiting area and the garage, so you can see whats being done on your car.

Honest and trustworthy. Had to get my car fixed, told me it was going to be around 500, they found that it was just some of the wiring and replaced that and it was only 200. They could have lied and just took the money but they made sure I was taken care of. They have earned my business for life! Not to mention everyone that worked there smiled and was nice:)

Im not sure if people just dont know or they just dont care but these people charge an outrageous amount of money for their parts. I can find struts for my car for $80 a piece, coil included. Theyre charging me $800 for the pair. I can find a catalytic converter for $250. Theyre charging close to $100 for the part. I will never take my car to this place again. I will say they did diagnose everything I already knew was wrong with my car aside from stating the throttle body is bad which I dont agree with either. I also had to wait an hour when I was the first person there (so much for first come first serve) while I watched 3 peoples cars serviced before mine and watched a few cars that were already there worked on as well...the explanation was that there was only tech that did diagnoses, which is fine but why did I wait an hour for him when I was the first there. Dont go here. Theyre marking the parts up way too much for it even to be rational.

I am a very satisfied repeat customer of precision tune. I find the staff very knowledgeable, very helpful, and most importantly honest. For example, after some time with an intermittent brake problem noise that was driving me crazy, I went to precision tune to see what they could find out. After one of their staff recognized what I was describing looked at the brakes and fixed this problem AT NO CHARGE. Not saying they do that all the time, but what keeps me coming back -- honest people, and that they not only treat their customers with respect, but they are very fair in their prices as well as the time it takes to get things done. I have recommended them to friends and will continue to do so. Go see for yourself.Mark

Oil change

I pulled in with my car smoking in a panic. They assisted me right away. Super friendly and polite.

Took care of all my issues quickly. Prices were reasonable. They kept trying to upsell me, which was the only annoying thing.

I had a radiator issue late in the afternoon they got me in right away quickly found the problem ordered the parts and had me back on the road the next morning.The service was prompt and efficient at a fair price. I would certainly go there again.

Terrible. I drive in at 5:15 and they close at 6. I asked for an oil change and tire rotation and how long it would take. They had nothing lined up that evening and said it would have taken 40ish minutes. They wouldn’t do it because it might take them a couple minutes past 6 to finish. I went somewhere else.

I took my car here to fix squeaky brakes and an oil change. The oil change was 20% more than it would have cost at the Lexus dealership but I went ahead and did it out of convenience since I was already there. Also, after doing a brake inspection and replacing both rear brakes, I cringed when the brakes still squeaked as I was pulling out of their parking lot. I knew there could be some break-in-time where the noise would go away so I gave them a chance. After a month of the problem not resolving itself, I took my car to a specialist.The other mechanic found that the right rear caliper was sticking and not releasing completely, thus creating my brake problems. They had to replace the calipers, brake pads and resurface the rotors. Consequently, the almost $300 I spent at Precision Tune Auto Care was useless. It basically went down the drain. Lesson learned. Take your car to a more competent shop.

In the past I have used this shop for my routine oil changes because I did not feel pressured to buy unnecessary things. However, my last experience was awful and I will not use them again. Went in for a routine oil change and to replace a headlight and ended up spending over 200 dollars. After changing the wiring in my headlight my car battery, which had given me no trouble before, died before I could leave the parking lot. They offered no explanation saying it was just a coincidence and I had to buy a new one.
