My auto repair provider for decades, Eddie is a good man, honest to a fault. I have never, not once ever felt taken advantage of or treated unfairly. I wish everyone I dealt with had the character of Eddie and his Daughter, good people.

I totally trust Eddie with my cars. He wont fix something that isnt broken. And will stay with the car until it is fixed. He does my personal cars and our church busses. Very easy to work with and fair prices.

I am livid as I type this. This review is provided via the wifi in the repair shop in NC that I am currently in with an Outback with failing rear wheel bearings. The wheel bearings that Eddie himself just a week ago told me were fine!I went to Dupont Auto before this vacation to get my Outback looked over for any potential road trip issues, including an engine code that was being thrown and EXPLICITLY requested that the rear wheel bearings be looked at. I had an inspection at Suby Doctors a year ago and they indicated that the wheel bearings were starting to go. I needed to save money for this work to be done. As the year went on, I personally didnt notice any additional noise (as should indicate failing bearings), so, pre-vacation, I cam to Dupont for a 2nd opinion on these bearings. An 02 sensor change fixed the code issue, and I was told that the rear bearings were fine. That the car was in great shape. That obviously isnt the case, after arriving at our destination in the mountains and on our way back from a supply run, the road noise in the cabin became extremely pronounced and appeared to be coming from the rear driver side wheelwell. Obviously the wheel bearings are shot!So now Im up here, with my family, on the winding roads of the NC mountains, with an unsafe vehicle, wasting a precious vacation day, because Dupont Auto, for whatever reason, decided not to check what I had explicitly asked them to check!I hate giving a one star review, because I try to find something redeemable about everyone. Running a small business is hard, and I think DuPont Auto is (mostly) honest, but I also think they are lazy. If you didnt check the wheel bearings, something I explicitly requested, due to time or forgetting, then just tell me that! Ill be upset, but a lot less upset than I am right now sitting in this repair shop. Anyway, hope you enjoy the $300 you got for oxygen sensor replacement, its the last money youll be getting from me, and the last time that Ill jeopardize my familys safety by taking my cars here. Im taking my Outback to Suby Doctors exclusively now. They found this issue over a year ago!

I have been taking my vehicles to Eddie and Dupont Auto Repair for many years now, and the work is excellent AAA. I recommend any and everybody to take their vehicle there. Where people are very friendly, honest and its cost effective!

I trust them with all my repairs. They always do a wonderful job and are always kind and polite.
