Great staff
Such a wonderful experience! Highly recommended to anyone looking for auto repairs.
These people know vehicles like a chef knows sushi, but thats not why I keep coming back. I keep coming back because it is an honest small business ran by good people who genuinely care about their customers and community, which is something you seldom find in any trade these days. If I could give 10 stars, I would.
Great service. Knowledgeable, fair, thorough, experienced. You can leave your automobile here and peacefully know that it is in the best hands. I will definitely be coming back to Anchor Automotive for everything having to do with my car. I would recommend it highly for people who are looking for a mechanic they can TRUST and they dont know where to go. It is obvious to me, from the work ethic of these folks, that their business practice stands on principles that are righteous and goodly, and I praise God this business in Jesus name.
Phillip at Anchor Automotive is the best and his professionalism and kindness shows when it comes to helping others in tough spots with car repairs. His workmanship is as good if not better than the dealerships.Phillip has saved me hundreds of dollars on repairs and I currently have my daughters Senior year car ( 1991 Honda Accord ) being worked on and looked over for safety as we speak and will be paying well below dealership prices and still getting quality workmanship.Youll be so thankful, you may want to give him a little extra 🙂.
Look no further. Phillip does great work at fair prices and is extremely trustworthy. Highly recommended.
Just had my truck repaired there. Have not had an issue since. I will be recommending to anyone who needs repairs done. Its hard to find an honest and fair mechanic, they wont disappoint. This was my first time going here and I have a feeling I will be taking my cars here for a long time!
Incredibly fast service, friendly staff, and good prices. Our shop in Summerville recommend them since they do not do in-dash actuators. Totally worth the drive.
Wonderful service and very attentive to your car needs Great pricing on service. The special idea around his business is it is the owner you are dealing with and he sees to your needs.
This place is great. Pulled in with my car literally overheating. Was just hitting the red on my temp gauge as I turn in. I needed a new thermostat. This was around 2pm, and they were full up for the day but said theyd try to fit it in. They were able to get to it, and I was able to pick it up the same day. Great price, very polite, Ill be coming back from now on whenever I have a problem.
I had a lot of great experiences with this place. I was very impressed until recently. The repair service is always done with expertise, care and accuracy, for the most part, except for recently when I’d dropped off my Toyota there to have it diagnosed and fixed. It just wasn’t starting up.Had the car towed, and though it took about a week or maybe a few days more, I was patient with Mr. Phillip and his wife who own and operate the business. They are a kind and hard working team it seems. The car was finally diagnosed, and fixed according to the word I’d gotten from them and Mr. Phillip was just taking it for a test drive. Unfortunately, I didn’t hear back from them for at least another week and a half. After calling two or three times with no answer and starting to get worried, I finally got a call back with a perfectly legitimate story about replacing a gas pump, having to take the tank out, putting it back in then test driving it only to find that he’d Carelessly forgotten to replace a plug that indicates the volume of fuel left in the tank. He had to once again take the entire tank out (which takes quite a while) and that’s why we hadn’t heard from him.Again, it was a perfectly acceptable mistake and I assured him that it was OK, even though it had taken just about 3 weeks to get a fuel pump changed, and then a complete loss of communication for a week, the work was done and I was happy to finally have my car back. The problem surfaced recently. I vowed to always take my cars back to him and I have on several occasions and have never been displeased except recently when my recently widowed mother took her car in on my word that Mr. Phillip would take care of it. So, after coercing her to do so, she did.The car was the last gift she received from her Husband, a Marine, who died last year this time and I had explained that to them. I said I wasn’t sure what she wanted done with it but to just get a diagnosis first and we would go from there.A few days after the expected time of the diagnosis, we got a call saying that it was losing compression which means the engine would have to be changed out, since my mother who is now approaching 60 years old and still working from 8am till 8pm at night to cover the bills I asked them to give me a few days to figure out what to do with the car (wether we would fix it or have it towed).Low and behold Christmas brings financial burdens. So I told them we would have it towed possibly at the end of the week (one day away) or at the beginning of the following week. With no car it seemed time had gotten away from us juggling schedules and making ends meet, the end of the week rolls around and I received a very rude message on the phone from Mr. Phillip.“Get your car out of here, it’s taking up space and not making me any money by tomorrow.” Wow I thought to myself.I called him back and explained how sorry we were that our mothers Car was losing him money and that we would have it out of their lot ASAP, and that we would appreciate his patience. That is about all I said a few minutes ago, on his voicemail. That was the most hurtful thing I could imagine someone saying whom I have bestowed my trust in, and it goes to show that you cannot trust ANYONE but God, and God said, Man will ‘always’ fall short of the glory of God, and on this, as in every other occasion, God was right, and I was wrong.Mr. Phillip, I truly do regret putting trust in you and I wish you wouldn’t have been so unkind and nasty to a widow and her children. I truly hope you will find happiness, peace, and whatever it is that will make you happy, obviously it is not our business, and we will take it elsewhere. Good day sir. May God forgive us, and bless you.
