After dealing with the madhouse of the TSA line, Great American Bagel came in clutch! 🥯 ☕️We were there at peak time in the morning but the line moved pretty quickly. They have a nice selection of bagels, breakfast sandwiches and drink options. I had a jalapeño cheddar bagel with cream cheese and a coffee. Sometimes places skimp you on the cream cheese but they hooked it up. Enjoy!

2 of us shared a one simple salmon/cream cheesse bagel sandwich, chasing it with 2 coffees for $19. The food was what we expected.The cleanliness is where this food venue needs an attention/dedicated personnel.We sit next to overloaded trash container for over 20 min, watching workers passing it by with empty hands and, seemed like, absent minds.I had to clean up our table myself. Given, the means to do so were provided (gloves, disinfectant, paper towels).

Absolutely terrible in every way imaginable. I ordered a “grilled cheese panini” ended up with burnt cheese on what I can only describe as a burnt sandwich bun? The floors were dirty, staff seemingly oblivious, and the tables clearly haven’t been cleaned all day/week/month.The photo is where I got to eat. To be honest, it was not the dirtiest seating area by far.Hopefully a manager sees this post and gets it together, and fast. If I could give a negative star rating I would.

This is an airport location, flights arrive and depart before 6:00 am. It’s 6:15, there is a line of 30 people, it’s 6:15 and the employees are working at one speed….slow, don’t want to say anything because I’m sure they can slow down. Many in line have been waiting since 5:30. I would think at a location of travelers such as this the owner/manager would be wanting to open and serve the public.Don’t know if this is an airport issue or a store issue but be prepared to wait if you fly early.

Horrible.. I would have given 2 stars based on the terrible bagels, but I had to give 1 star because of the horrendous customer service.I hope I never get to a point in my life where I am forced to work for a job I hate as much as the lady who takes the order does. STAY AWAY

I question whether that was even food. We were super hungry after a 4-hour flight and bagels sounded perfect. Service via a vending machine would have been more friendly and less depressing that the demoralized employees. We ordered a bacon sunrise on multigrain and two “super bagels” - a cinnamon crunch and blueberry crunch ($21 total). All three tasted exactly the same - like week old bread that never tasted decent to start with. We tried, but ended up tossing them. Truly horrendous. ANYTHING would be better to replace these abysmal, sad distributors of expensive disappointment.

Horrible experience. The place closes at 2, and I arrived at 1:57 only to have the gate closed on me. The worker rudely told me to go elsewhere, and after telling them Id be giving a poor online review, they said, WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY?... Had much better experience eating at Summer House.

The BLT bagel was really good, bacon was cooked perfectly, the lettuce was a bit cheap. There was a very limited choice of chips, and they did not advertise their beverages well, it looked like you could only get coffee or not chocolate. The service was quick and reasonably priced.

Service was unsatisfactory, but the “egg & cheese sunrise” sandwich was awful (I threw it out before taking a photo). Grilled cheese panini was $9 and was even worse (see photo for stale bread with Kraft singles). No salvation in the blueberry bagel, as it wasn’t even a bagel (photo)

Wish I would have looked at the star rating before waiting 40 minutes on line. Told they open 6 am. Didnt open til 630 am. Hours should be posted or one of the 5 people could have let the crowd know the wait time, especially when folks have flights to make. The bagels were awful! I didnt expect them to be made on premise, but they were dry and tasted day old. The only reason they even deserve a one star is that the person who waited on me was pleasant.

I got to the airport at 5am for a flight boarding at 6:45am. I waited in line starting at 5:40am after being told they opened at 6am. They did not open until 6:30am after slowly getting ready for business and being rude to inquiring customers. I got the cinnamon crunch bagel with cream cheese and it was more like a stale piece of bread than anything like a bagel. Once opened, they were pretty quick, but it was not a good experience.

This place doesn’t even deserve the star it gets. The food is mediocre at best. They don’t open at 6 as posted. The lady, Teresa, who rang up my order was extremely rude and disrespectful. After apologizing to her for what seemed to be a miscommunication, she was still rude. If you can’t provide decent customer service, maybe you should not be working with the public in a place as fast paced and chaotic as an airport.

The only reason people buy bagels or coffee in this place is airport location. There is simply no choice. Charlotte airport will be smart to replace this vendor with something better. Coffee and bagels are overpriced and feel stale.

I asked for a toasted bagel. It seemed like they heated it for 10 seconds. It wasnt even luke warm. The bagel itself was doughy and flat. Worst airport food I can remember eating and it was just a bagel.

Hands down worst bagel/Sandwich I have ever had. almost seemed like bagels were store bought rather than made there and didnt even toast it properly and 3-4 times the price than an average bagel. Wish I have seen the ratings of the place before ordering from there.

I was charged 35 dollars after I was told the transaction did not go through never received my order that was originally only 11 dollars they dont answer the phones so I cant get in contact with them.

Been there about 5 times and the food is consistently ok. Not bad for breakfast at the airport before 9am.

If your going to hire, which I don’t have a problem with, someone with a hard to understand accent, with a mask on, and talking through plexiglass it would make sense to have options for sandwiches on something they can point to. Also sandwich was awful!

Where to begin, let’s start with the initial greeting. There wasn’t any, I stood in line for 5 minutes until I had to interrupt the workers’ conversation to place an order. You would’ve thought I had interrupted a summit for world peace with the dagger eyes I got from the employee working there.After being rudely asked, “what do you want” my wife and I placed our orders, then placed them again, and yet again. The staff kept asking us what we had just ordered from them... after the back and forth we approached the register and were greeted by yet another unpleasant worker. After this whole ordeal we sat down and waited about another 15 minutes for our food, and the order wasn’t even right.To top this off, they were so inept at their jobs a line of about 40 people formed as they were the only place still serving food, the people in line began to disappear though once they saw just what they were in for.The gross incompetence of this place is mind numbing. Great American Bagel? As far as I’m concerned they should rebrand to Most God Awful American Bagel. How about you clean house with the staff and then hire some pleasant/competent workers.

The bagels are decent, certainly no bruggers though. But BE CAREFUL. They hand you your bagel in something that looks like a bag but isnt. ..its just paper. Mine fell straight on the floor and I could only eat the top half (that didnt touch the floor)

I had a blueberry bagel with butter, and sweet Baby Jesus, it was so tasty. A bit over $5 for that seems steep, but its airport food. Youre not gonna get a bargain. Staff was very friendly and quick.

Beware! I was here last night and got the turkey bagel sub and I was violently throwing up all night last night. I ordered the sub and within 1 minute it was ready, so these are pre-packaged and not sure how long it was sitting out. The turkey tasted off to me but overall the sandwich was good so I didn’t think anything. Not a great way to start my thanksgiving. Will definitely be checking reviews in the future prior to eating anywhere, had no clue this place was rated so poorly or I would’ve chose somewhere else. It was also $20 for the sandwich, chips and water since they ring everything separate, which is totally overpriced.

This was my first time eating at The Great American Bagel Bakery. Id never heard of it. My flight was delayed twice at CLT, so I decided to eat here while I waited. It was pretty good. They had a decent selection for sandwich options. Of course i was overpriced, as airport food tends to be. It would be nice to find a similar restaurant in Nashville.

I should have looked at the reviews before eating here. It is either a 1-star or 2-star place. The staff was nice but the bagel was terrible, they put a super thin layer of cream cheese on it, and forgot the cucumber. Don’t waste your money.

Wow the staff was super rude when I asked why the charge for the sunrise supreme sandwich was different then the menu . Her response was an argument that the register was the price not the menu board. Are you that lazy to not change your menu to the prices you are going to charge. We visited this restaurant on 9/11/2019, around 10:30 am. We were welcomed without a smile, with, “What do you want?”Staff was rude and clearly didn’t want to be there. My sandwich was in pieces, but they wrapped it and gave it to me anyway.I will say that the young girl who rang us out did smile and was very nice, even saying have a safe flight. The other three were total b*#@^s. They should not be working with the public.Won’t eat there again...

The servers took way too long to get through orders. At one point the cashier just left, without a word to anyone in line. The person taking the orders eventually signed in to ring me up, just as the cashier came back. My order rang up as 12.75 initially. However, the cashier rang me up under the other persons name, after taking my $13.00. She then expected me to wait around as she corrected her mistake. Rang me up again, this time it came out to over $14.00. At that point, I asked for my money back. She was hesitant, but eventually handed it back. I would not recommend at all. Ive had better service at McDonalds.

Out of everything at the airport location on a Saturday right at lunch. Workers just shrugged it off like who cares. Place is filthy, tables, chairs, floor. Disgusting. Eat here at your own risk.

No free water! They refused to give me a cup for water, even if I paid for it to fill at a water fountain. In my state, it’s the law to have free water available since I sure as hell don’t want to spend $5 for bottled water. Not to mention the whole single use plastic argument.

Ive had better bagels pulled freshly out of my freezer. I ordered extra cream cheese and watched the lady smear one anemic looking swipe across the bagel before attempting to package it up. I asked again for extra cream cheese and almost got to an acceptable amount of cream cheese. I will not be going back, poor product and poor service.This is the B terminal location, not sure if the rest have as poor service but Im sure its the same stale bagels.

This is by far the worst service I have gotten at a Great American Bagel across the country. The ladies look like they are TRYING to be mean, but it’s too easy of a job to be mean... so they’re internally conflicted. And, the Asiago bagels were ALL frozen (at 10am, so they had been open for hours) ... clearly a lack of proper inventory management.

I paid $9 for a bagel and they wouldn’t serve me a cup of tap water.Edit: They forgot about my order and microwaved it hotter than the center of the sun. It was also solid as a brick and inedible. I luckily was able to get my money back.Avoid at all costs. There is a restaurant to the left that would have to try hard to be worse than this place.

Crazy expensive, the work area looked dirty, poor service as my sandwich took six or seven minutes to prepare without a line in front of me. The only good thing I can say was the flavor was good and the sandwich was hot enough to make me less concerned about cleanliness. Otherwise it was greasy and fell apart and was difficult to eat. Do not recommend for the price.

Disorganized. They were out of turkey so I ordered a Cuban. A tiny slice of ham with some cheese on some mediocre bread. Didnt even have a pickle on it. Pretty miserable excuse for a panini. Definitely not worth $10.

The people who work heee are really rude I mean they don’t care about being kind to customers. I personally made the mistake of mentioning I was tired and the lady behind the counte yelled at me how she has to work and she is actually tried and not just traveling the world and stuff. She then proceeded to take her anger out on me by not cooking my bagel and giving me a bagl that was “baked” with cold cheese on it because I said I was tired. I asked for another bagel just the way it was because I wanted to eat some plain bread and she told me no and wouldn’t serve me. This place is a complete waste of time and needs new staff you would get better service eating urinal cakes from the bathroom.

We get in a line with no instructions as to where line up.... only to receive a nasty attitude from the worker who just points and says glass . I then reply excuse me? She points again rolls her eyes and says YOU DONT ORDER HERE. YOU ORDER OVER THERE . Everyone looked at me . It was so embarrassing that i left. I walked all the way to another terminal to try again. Better attitude in this terminal except two flys land on my sandwhich. The worker doesnt even offer to make a new one. I dont know the health standards of making a good quality sandwich but im pretty sure it doesnt include flys. Never again. $33.00 down the drain. I can only imagine what they allow when no one is looking. Hope this helps.

Just had two bagel sandwiches from here, insane prices ! 19.25 for two of them, well moments later when i checked my bank account they withdrew $23.10 from my card. Stupid me told them I didnt need a receipt so the manager would not refund me the money accusing me of lying! Who knows, maybe the girl gave herself a tip on my expense without my knowledge ! I am furious. They charge enough the way it is. And than they overcharge me from the original amount she told me. I would recommend eating else where so you dont get robbed !

I just bought a. chicken pesto panini from the Charlotte airport a few minutes ago and it was by far the worst panini anyone can ever be served, very dry and really burnt black. Unfortunately for me, I couldn’t take it back I realized after boarding my flight. I am very disappointed. Does anyone check the standards of the food service and the food this location serves? First they didn’t even acknowledge my presence and they served as if I had annoyed them, very poor customer service. Someone from their company should take the time to look at the yelp reviews.I took pictures of the panini while on board, I believe this is daylight theft.

Id advise everybody not not eat nor work here.Utter disrespect from Managers and total disarray . Ive recently left from working here earlier this month. Preparing the meat was disgusting. The turkey wasnt authentic turkey. The pulled pork was used even if it was old and on tome of that we they had a Mouse Infestation problem. I worked here and refused to eat from here after seeing how unsanitary it disgusting it was.

Your kiosk in D terminal needs work, specifically porfessionalism. The staff were not attentive and were in fact playing on their cell phones, not noticing other customers and me were waiting to order. They got around to cooking our orders, but with an attitude on their faces.

I purchased the ham and cheese pani from the location in CVG airport (business trip) and the girl working had the NERVE to make my pani with NO gloves on at all... Her attitude sucked...Im sure no one begged her to wrk there... But as she was making my pani with her dirty hands she... She made it clear she would turn the machine bk on and that she would soon be leaving...she lucky she had swiped my business card before she did all this b/c I wouldve just walked away after giving her a few choice words...after she handed me my dirty sandwich i threw it away in the trash...her attitude sucked...o nasty self....short dark hair, short and overweight! NEVER EAT THERE!
