Chris is by far the best artist I have met in the south. Im from New York and am beyond picky with who tattoos me. Im also a tattoo artist myself so I know good work. Chris has tattooed my entire upper neck and face now as well as my fiances sleeve to finish up last couple empty spots. Hes the only artist we will go to.

I got my infant daughter ears pierced. When we walked in, the place was empty (which I appreciated because of Covid) and they allowed us to bring her and leave through the back. They had earrings to chose from already displayed. They explained to us thoroughly the process. They were patient, clean and professional and took their time doing our baby girl first ear piercings. I think they are A one! One thing I would recommend is where to do the piercing. Infants don’t sit still so aligning the piercing along the groove of the earlobe that goes from the top to the bottom makes it a little easier. Otherwise, I loved everything about them! Thank you!

LEvery time I go I fall more in love with my body because of the artwork I invest into it. Christopher is freaking amazing and neat with everything he does! I trust any tattoo or piercing from him! Prices are great and the cleanliness of the shop is too notch.

Hands down best place to get your tattoo done! Chris and Phoenix spent a lot of time working on our pieces and went above and beyond what we expected. Everyone was super friendly and they stayed well past close to finish working. Amazing shading, line work, attention to detail and highlighting. Cant wait to come back!

Unsure what this place is doing hosting comedy shows but it was interesting to say the least. The establishment is a bit run down and located in an awkward building. It has potential and can be a multi-purpose business but very confusing. Even if they only did tattooing there is is a very open area and noisy and seems uncomfortable to have a tattoo done here. I left very confused. I was thirsty and this place offered no beverages not even water.

Got 2nd ear piercing and it went so smooth and easy! Way better than getting it done at a mall or jewelry store. Thanks for making this fun, Im excited to wear more types of earrings!

My friend and I came in for walk ins after most other shops were closed and Chris was incredibly kind and patient with us as we figured out exactly what we wanted. He was very professional and friendly and did an amazing job. Both tattoos turned out amazing, despite us being nervous about spur of the moment tattoos. We definitely plan on coming back, it was a great experience!

Chris didnt get my tattoo right. When he applied the stencil of my bat tattoo, a part of the head was missing. He assured me he didnt need to reapply the stencil and he knew what he was doing. Wrong. When I pointed out the mistake, he said he decided to change the shape of the head bc he thought it would look better... WITHOUT CONSULTING ME. He put brown where there was supposed to be black in the wings... The brown wasnt the right shade... Theres no line between the head and the wing so it looks like the wing is attached to the head. Chris told me to return in a few weeks for a touch up/to address any issues. I showed up at our scheduled time of 12. I waited until 1:30. I called several times and messaged their page on FB. No luck. I immediately went to Charlotte Tattoo Company where Mickey explained that my tattoo wasnt healed enough yet and told me he would be more than happy to help me fix it in a couple more weeks. Dont waste your time or money at Plaza Midwood Tattoo.

Unprofessional work. Messed up my friends tattoo and didnt even show up to the shop for her follow-up appointment. She waited for an hour since the parlor was locked, and then she finally left and got help from a quality artist down the street. Wont be returning ever again.

My tattoo artist was intoxicated and the lines on my tattoo (a signature which is ALL line work) were shakey. Im not really disappointed though because it was only 60 dollars and it was the only place open that late

I went to this shop on November 14th and it was late on a Wednesday night so my normal tattoo shop was not opened, this was the only tattoo shop somewhat near me opened. I looked online to the reviews they had nothing but good reviews and 5 stars so I go here, first pulling up and no ones here and it looks sketchy first red flag. The manager im guessing told me it would be only 40$ but then another artist comes out from one room and he was the one doing my tattoo when he first put the stencil on my arm and it was completely sideways and crooked, I should have left after this when he asked me if this looks good I just said can u make it straight, he then asked me how to make it straight so then I had to explain to my artist how to make MY tattoo straight then his manager comes over there and helps him. There was a few things I wanted him to fix that I saw from the stencil and he told me no worries he could. so as he is doing this tattoo on me his manager is standing over him and telling him how to tattoo me, after he gets done I see little things but no big deal. I texted the artist latter the next day because my arm had a rash on it, he gives me his managers number I explain to him the tattoo looks horrible and he tells me that the artist is new and he gives him the chance to do walk ins, I wish someone would of told me this before I got the tattoo. He then tells me that he will fix it himself and give me another tattoo for free if I do not leave a bad review to his shop, I said okay thats fine with me as long as you fix it. and here it is over 2 months later and every time I try and get this fixed he ignores me and will not do it, so here I am leaving the review not to be rude or bad talk to this shop but this shop doesnt need 5 stars after what was left on my arm and they will not fix it.
