Marta is the absolute best and is so accommodating in all aspects. I had my gown altered and my mom had her dress altered, both which were purchased elsewhere. She did such an incredible job making sure that every little detail was taken care of and the dresses would look their best on us. She even created a little patch made up of pieces of my dad’s ties to sew into the inside of my dress. Even something as simple as taking the time to help my mom practice doing and undoing my bustle to ensure we knew how to do it properly really shows how much she cares about her clients. I am IN LOVE with my dress!! Marta did an AMAZING job! I bought this dress at a place near my house and after looking at reviews of the alteration place they recommended, I decided I would look elsewhere. Seeing all the 5 star reviews here I decided to go to Couture Bridal. My dress was at least 2 sizes too big on me, yet she was able to alter it perfectly! Although I did have some tulle hanging out, I really think it was the dress. When I bought it there was no bustle, Marta had to put it on there for me. Therefore, I think the dress just wasnt meant to be bustled, I dont think it was her fault. I was nervous for her to take the neckline down because I didnt want to lose the frosted edge that matched my veil. Im not sure how she did it, but she lowered it and kept the frosted neckline that I loved. Marta went above and beyond to exceed my expectations and she was very friendly and attentive during my appointments. I would highly recommend!!!!

This place is awesome. I chose my dress on Feb 2 that was originally a size 10 and I picked up my wedding dress Feb 4 in size 2. The dress fit perfect. The owner was beyond helpful and accommodating. She even added a handmade belt to my dress. I had a great experience with this boutique.Can’t compliment her enough !! 😊

When my daughter and I walked into Couture Bridal we were greeted by Marta. My daughter had an idea of a dress she wanted and Marta was very gracious in assisting her to try on several beautiful dresses. Marta suggested my daughter try on a gorgeous corset wedding gown. I knew immediately it would be the one when I saw my daughters face. Marta is a master seamstress. She altered the gown to fit my daughter like a glove, many times pointing out something she thought could be better when we did not even notice. Marta did not stop until she knew it was just right. My daughter was so incredibly happy she also purchased a magnificent veil. I cannot say enough to do Marta justice. She gave us everything and more than we expected at a wonderful price too.

Oh my God where should I start! First, I’ll start by saying how awesome Ms. Marta is! She went above and beyond my expectations. She’s so professional and very knowledgeable about anything pretending to wedding dress etc. My first visit to Ms. Marta was in July of 2020 I believe. With everything that world was facing with COVID, she was always clear and honest in reference to shipping, ordering and alterations. She gave me her undivided attention at every session. The atmosphere is peaceful at her Boutique. In total I may have been to Ms. Marta and 7 times during the process of ordering, and customizing my dress.Lol, I’m very particular about how I like things, but that never bothered her. Ms. Marta made sure I was happy and satisfied with the final product. To anyone bride that’s looking for a a stress free experience I promise you will find that at Couture Bridal with Ms. Marta.

I had a wedding dress that needed altering in every way possible and she did a flawless job of altering it perfectly. It had so many layers of tulle and lots of delicate lace, yet nobody would have ever been able to tell it had been altered. She also did a fantastic job of adding bustles to the dress- I had to have 9 bustles because of all the tulle on the train, and the photographers who helped me bustle my dress were in awe of the color-coded buttons and loops. They had done hundreds of weddings but had never seen that done before and they said it made it SO much easier. I highly recommend her to anyone needing any kind of wedding alterations- she also altered a bridesmaids dress of mine a few months ago that fit perfectly.

Marta is absolutely wonderful!! Her attention to detail, fun personality and timeliness are spot on. I had a very difficult and detailed dress to work with for alterations and she made them so seamless and made the dress fit like a glove! She even had to sew my bra into my dress, add in additional security to the dress to make sure it stayed snug on my body and she handled every request with no problem. Plus she was incredibly affordable for the amazing work she did--would definitely recommend for anyone in the Charlotte and surrounding areas!

Marta did a fabulous job with my wedding dress. I had a lot of lace, especially around the bottom of the dress, and was worried it would be too difficult to hem. However she was able to get it perfect and it looks great! She also added a bustle and took in the sides, and all at an affordable and reasonable price. She was also very nice and helpful with my ideas on the dress and possibly adding things, and explaining how to put on the dress and what to expect when someone else is helping me into it. I highly recommend Marta for your dress alterations! You wont be disappointed!

Marta did an awesome job on my dress! She had to work with a ballgown that was a size 12 and take it down to a size 4. The dress had boning, crystals, and tulle. She made it look amazing and the fit is perfect. She added a bustle for the reception. I highly recommend her for all of your wedding dress alterations. I will probably use her services for gown preservation after the wedding.

If I could give 10 stars, I would. Marta was a joy to work with from beginning to end. My dress was very minimalist, and would have showed the slightest inferior work. Luck for me, I was working with a magician. She made the alterations I requested, and even suggested tweaks that made my dress look better than I thought possible. She was so thorough, taking time to fit test between every major adjustment. My dress was pretty when I bought it, but it was perfect after Marta had her way with it.

My oversized bridesmaids dress was a disaster. I read all the amazing reviews and decided I wanted to try my luck. She definitely exceeded my expectations. She was very professional and even during the trying times we’re experiencing with Covid-19 she was able to complete my alterations on time if not sooner. I’d give 6 stars if I could. A++ all the way around. Will definitely send anybody I know who needs alterations.

I dont even know how to express how thankful I am to Marta. I was in tears over my dress before I found her because other alterations specialists didnt know how to make my wedding dress fit me and give it shape. It had a lot of intricate beading that other alterations people were too afraid to touch because they said it would cause more issues than we started with to try to fix it. But when I got to Marta, she immediately said she could fix it and showed me exactly what her plans were for the dress. She made me feel so welcomed and comfortable right away and I had no doubt in my mind that leaving my dress with her was the right choice. At the first fitting after she worked her magic, I was ECSTATIC. I couldnt believe it was the same dress, Marta reworked the fit and put the delicate beading back in place and it looked so beautiful! I got my wedding dress altered here and she did a fantastic job! Her alterations are high quality. My dress has a large train and she found a way to bustle the layers of the dress separately (underneath) so that it would lay beautifully when fully bustled. It was a lot of work to be done and she did it very quickly and without sacrificing quality. I would highly recommend her for anyone getting their wedding dress altered.

After searching for what seemed like months for the perfect place to have alterations done (I’ve heard plenty of horror stories so I wanted to do my research) I came across Marta at Couture Bridal and read nothing but raving reviews. Very detail oriented and literally made my wedding dress which was amazing when I purchased it looked PERFECT and somehow better than I could have imagined. Would give 100 stars if possible. I was apprehensive about shopping for a wedding dress but Marta was fantastic, she made me feel very comfortable and encouraging. I was able to get an appointment on relatively short notice, between getting married within 6 months of getting engaged and Covid-19 poping up I was able to find the perfect dress, with some alterations that made it look everything belonged.... 7 bustles and they look great with the detail of the dress not just pinned up in the middle. Marta is a magician! My dress material was extremely complicated to alter and I was extremely nervous about it. Its the type of material that is unforgiving. One simple mistake wouldve been noticeable. But Marta is so precise and detail oriented. She made some major changes (and I mean, major) and it looked absolutely perfect. I was surprised to find this amazing bridal shop. The owner had a wide range of wedding gowns that you wouldn’t see at a typical bridal shop. Specially brands that are hard to find, like Paloma Blanca. She was attentive with all your needs. One of the best part of the whole experience was that she could do all the alterations to the dress herself. She knew her dresses inside out and could take it apart and sewed it back to fit your body. I am so pleased with my wedding gown. Thank you!

I cannot say enough about Marta – SHE IS THE BEST! I stumbled on her beautiful storefront in the Fountains Shopping Center based on some reviews, and I knew from the moment we had our first conversation about altering my dress that Marta knew exactly what to do! My dress needed a decent amount of work. The shoulders of the dress were too wide for my narrow frame, and she was able to make more delicate looking straps while maintaining the integrity of the intricate back details, lace, and accent stones. The dress needed to be brought in all around, extra boning had to be added, and it needed a serious amount of hemming. I also wanted to add some extra poof underneath so that the frame of the dress would have more of a mermaid look. Marta was SO patient through the whole process, gave such good feedback about changes, and even worked with me when I changed my mind on things (let’s just say the initial amount of poof was a little too much)! We finally got the poof down, and the hemming work was gorgeous. The lace border still flows beautifully around the edge of the dress, and looks stunning when pinned with the bustle. Marta helped create a bustle that would actually work with the dress and help maintain the quality of the material. The bottom of the dress is heavy, and if the bustle would be done the way most all other seamstresses suggested (just one button to hold it up), the weight would pull on the dress and ruin it. Marta also made me a veil of exceptional quality and competitive price (yes, she make veils!). My mom couldn’t get over how beautiful and detailed her work is (and my mom is seasoned seamstress with years of experience in the industry). I knew that my gown and veil were safe with Marta during the whole experience, and I cannot wait to feel so special on my wedding day because of her help. She’s not just a master at alterations, she is an artist who can see the whole vision and take it to the next level. Charlotte is lucky to have her!!!

Ive been searching for a gown for so long and finally i happened to see this new bridal store and decided to stop in. I finally found it! Marta the owner just knew what i needed. If I could rate her 10 stars I would! Marta was EVERYTHING! She absolutely SAVED my daughters wedding dress! She understood the vision she had for her dress and transformed it into something so much more than she could have imagined! She basically came to her in tears after her wedding dress had been absolutely butchered by a local cleaner that had received excellent wedding alteration reviews....this was not the case for her. They made the dress so tight that she felt as though she were the incredible hulk bursting out of her dress (something NO bride wants to feel!), and she literally had welts on her arms from where it was digging in and was told that nothing could be done to fix it. With a month to go before her wedding, we stumbled upon Martas new store in The Fountains and the rest is history. Marta was literally a god-send. She lives in Boston and was only able to fly back twice the month of her wedding, but Marta did everything in her power to work around her schedule and make it work. She was unbelievable accommodating - She saw her after hours on Saturday, worked through the night to transform her dress and opened her store for her on Sunday so that she could have another fitting before her flight back to Boston. The week before the wedding she scheduled four fittings with her so that she could continue to tweak her dress so that it was absolutely perfect for the big day. She is a miracle worker and can literally recreate the vision you have in your head. She was able to make her dress backless when she was told that it could not be done. Didnt even bat an eyelash and made it happen overnight. We cannot say enough praises for Marta! She will literally keep working until every last detail is perfect. We are beyond ecstatic that we found her! We will be referring every bride we know to her!
