I never leave reviews, but I had no choice here. Thomas in the deli just made the best sub I think I’ve ever had in my life. I asked for a chicken tender sub and he asked questions like if I liked it spicy and I gave him free reign to make me whatever kind of sub he wanted. My man coated the chicken tenders in Buffalo sauce, evened it out with ranch, chopped up the the tenders, then topped it with greens. If you’re looking for the best sub, ask for Thomas.

I am here out of town, from New York, for my sisters Celebration of life, and all I want to do is cook and comfort my family with food. I had been to a couple of stores and there wasnt enough steaks to feed my entire family on the shelves. I finally came to Publix and asked the butcher if he had anymore cube steaks other than the 2 packets I picked. He said no but I have some i can cut for you how many do you need? I said about 32 steaks. He looked at me with eyes wide open and said Ill have them cut and packed in 45 minutes . I had them in 15 minutes. Thank you,John the Butcher I appreciate you kindness!

North Carolina Publix is awsome, I wish the one where I live, or at least one of the three in my are in Columbia SC had all this one has. Its clean, like the rest, food is fresh. I got so much. The bar was on point, subs great as usual, the chicken tender were fresh and 😋 delicious. So glad suggested to my friend that we get our food here. Its 🔥 fire😊

Aside from the fact that the store is great, has fresh produce and friendly staff, my biggest shout out is for the recycling program! The only place that accepts foam packaging and cups for recycling!

Service is very friendly and helpful, just what youd expect from Publix. This store exemplifies clean, quality grocery shopping. The staff has gone out of their way for me on multiple occasions including bringing a product in the bakery that I used to love when I lived in FL.

5 online sandwiches ordered on 9/1 for 7:15am - 7:20am pickup time.Sandwiches were not ready until around 8:15am. So roughly an hour late.Upon arriving back to my office to eat my Rueben, this is what I get... a half mangled sandwich that looks like a 2 year old made it.Publix subs are usually excellent, but whoever was working the sub station today needs some serious help. Needless to say, it will be a while before I order a sandwich from Publix again.

The store is fine. I wish the management would push for recycling. Start with this, thank people for using their own bags, encourage others to switch from plastic. Have a giveaway day for Publix bags.

The produce section is always great and the fried wings were worth the wait. My only complaint is the parking lot because every driver and pedestrian think they have the right of way or theres no speed limit.

Very busy, Sunday evening at 6pm. Checkout lines fairly long. Everybody working hard and being friendly. Never a bad experience.

Publix is a great grocery store, we love to have our groceries from this store. Always have fresh Vegetables and fruits. It has good sea-food section mainly shrimp and salmon do have good taste.

Conner Stebbens was ABSOLUTELY GREAT !!!! He assisted my wife and i and Our two children out to the car to help put our stuff in the car. For him being only 15 YEARS OLD ! Publix has a great employee on their hands . His customer service is impeccable and he definitely can engage in great conversation as well .

My family and I moved to the Charlotte area a few weeks before lock down started and this Publix location is close enough to our house that we can walk to it, so as a stay at home mom with young kids, it became one of our most frequented places to visit over the coming year. The staff go out of their way to have conversations with and acknowledge my kids, and they always help us out to our car and they do so without making you feel like it’s an inconvenience in any way. You would be hard pressed to find a group of kinder, more genuine people, than the employees at this Publix. I wish I could name everyone individually, from the cashiers, baggers, seafood department and stockers, they all get a 10/10. On top of the phenomenal human beings that work here, we also love that the store is clean and the produce is always super fresh. Can a grocery store feel like a family? Because this one does. Thank you for all you do.

You can order your deli items online which saves so much time. Love this feature.

Best fresh baked breads. Excellent French Bread and Po Bo rolls, as well as hard to find specialty items.

Terrible Deli Service!!!I waited in line for over 15 minutes, while the deli person waited on everyone but the persons inline for sandwiches. After waiting in line for that period of time, they ran out of bread!!! This at the lunch hour time!! I could understand it, if this was at closing time.I think the person could of walked over the the bakery area and brought back bread to make subs. I guess people do not think anymore, or just do not care!I left the store frustrated, I drove over the Harris Teeter, got my subs, they had plenty of bread, the experience there was much better.I went back to try the deli/sub again. After waiting over 15 minutes for a sub, too find out they were out of meat to make a sub!!! I spoke with someone in customer service who had more attitude then brains. For a business that prides itself on a customer, I just do not see it!! I am getting to the point where I am no longer going to shop this store!!Here are my reasons:1) Terrible customer service, rude, and uncaring2) Low or out of stock on common items (Do not blame Covid, that was good excuse a year ago)3) Poor service at the deli counter

This is my favorite Publix! It used to be less than 5 minutes away from me. I moved a year ago and still travel about 25 minutes to this location. They have the best baked wings (never salty or undercooked), their bakery is bomb af - I suggest you order a custom cake online with white cake and fresh strawberries in the middle - they never miss. This publix always has good fruit too. Im not sure who the GM is, but they do a wonderful job at this location!

Great selection, great service. Prices are a bit higher than your Food Lion or Harris Teeter, but they have a nice selection of items you cant get at those other stores. Plus they have an amazing deli.

Christel in deli is extremely rude, she doesn’t want to work and she treats people like if they’re not even there. I am very amazed how Publix could even hire somebody like that and if they would even hire somebody like that, I am surprised how they do not even train them. If you don’t want your job, stay home. And if you do work here, you need to know that you’re dealing with people therefore, you need to have great customer service skills. I am not coming back here.

Some things are more expensive than other stores, but pharmacy prices are good!

Great store. Clean, bright, wide aisles, big selection of different brands in the same category (i.e. spaghetti sauces).

Publix in Ballantyne is pretty good. I like that person who bagged my groceries tied them off so items wouldnt roll out. The store was out of store-brand diet cola (with and without caffeine). The fish monger had little salmon in the window and offered to go in back and get a fish to cut some steaks. Very nice.

The hot cross buns were fantastic. They were so fresh. The frozen King Cake at Mardi Gras however was a disappointment. I was expecting fresh baked not frozen straight out of freezer.

I went in right before closing looking for something specific and the customer service personnel were so helpful and kind to me. there was also an awesome cashier who was ready and willing to help, he was so polite!

I didnt see anyone sanitizing the self checkout area :(Their prices could be better although I do enjoy their buy 1 get 1 free sales.

Kinda wish they worked a bit faster.... I guess its just location to location, some people take their jobs seriously where other people will move at the melody they choose to as it pertains to working.

The store is always clean and rhe people are always friendly. Great food and the manger is very understanding about somethings. The store manger Bryant is very nice. We reported to him tonight some good news rather than a complaint we gave a compliment to his worker that was here yesterday. I washed my hands in the bathroom and I forgot my rings. I called when I realized and someone had turned them in or the other manger that was on duty got them and saved them until we called and we went by to get them. We told the stor manager as I mentioned and he said for that he will give the person that was on duty yesterday a free lunch! Thats a great guy to work with and for. Great place.

Come on Publix. You raised the price of your deli chicken wings again, can we at least get some that dont have to be plucked before we eat them?

Called Pharmacy twice. Put on hold for 20 minutes each time. Finally store assistant Manager had to get me my answer. Said flu shot free. Co-pay was $30.00. But you get a$10.00 gift card. Need to put additional staff to answer phone. Otherwise Custom service was outstanding. It is COVID19 time. I will still shop here.

Look at the wings, the hair was not cleaned. Dont sell and spoil others health if you dont properly clean and fry. On top of that the guy said it will be spicy and its not all spicy. Worst first and last experience

The Ballantyne neighborhood Publox is always friendly and always stocked well! Prices are a little higher than other surrounding supermarkets, but they do make up for it with high level customer service.

When you do a pick up order check your fruit and bread, they gave me a Cantaloupe that should have never been on the shelf for sale. From the look you could see it was rotten and had several very soft spots. They had bread at the bottom of the bag.
