I went yesterday to buy the candy that I needed for my children for Christmas. I was SO impressed! First it is one of the only places I have found where I can buy fresh ROOT BEER Jelly Belly candies. The store now has the buy the pound candy already in small SEALED baggies. I had to buy a LOT of bags- but for people who only want a small amount-it gives them multiple SAFE options. THANK YOU! Also, as always, they have the hard to find British and other hard to find candies from other countries. THANKS! (ps. Earlier this year during a our states lockdown I purchased Root Beer Jelly Bellies from Amazon- and they were NOT as fresh as what we are able to get from Sweet Spot. THANK YOU AGAIN!!
Pretty good selection...actually rivals some of the candy stores Ive encountered at the beach. Easy to overdo it, for sure. Candy weighs more than you might think...
The service here is always mediocre and now add to it stale candy! I visited the store yesterday with my boys and purchased chewy Sweet Tarts that expired in November 2019???? This is March 2020!!! I wish I could upload a picture.
Prepare to be stared at with glaring unfriendly faces. Overpriced, stale candy Just go to the dollar store for your candy. The novelty wore off with the penetrating eyes
Had some different flavours of gum. Which was what my kids wanted to by for their friends, but it came at a premium. Guy in the store seemed to eye us with a bit of suspicion until it was clear that we were making a purchase.
Horrible!! The reason there is absolutely no free samples is because their candy is stale. We spent $80 in assorted jelly bellys for wedding favors that were hard as rocks. I shudder to think how long theyve been sitting there petrifing. additionally because it was loose candy they refused to refund our money. What a crock!! Either allow for samples or allow for refunds. This place is a total rip off. Buyer beware.
A great idea for those of us born pre-80s
I spent $8 on Jelly Bellies. They are do stale we can hardly chew then!!!
They need more of a selection.
Its a typical candy store. They typically dont let you use your card to pay unless you get $5 worth. They also carry soda, typical candy, candy you can bag, aspirin/allergy medicine, cigarettes.
Very expensive.
