Super cute and cozy coffee spot. They offer lots of tasty options for coffee and teas, as well as a wide selection of crepes and house made pastries.The food and drink were delicious! Wait times weren’t bad at all, and there was no shortage of socially distanced seating. Plus free WiFi. What more could you want? 😁

Great desserts and great crepes! My husband and I are always on the lookout for quality breakfast places and Crema Espresso Bar and Cafe is a winner. The desserts are rich and not sugary, which we loved, and the savory crepes we ordered we VERY flavorful.

Not all that great or fresh. We ordered some coffee and crepes none were that good. Crepe was soggy, sauce wasnt that good either. Place wasnt super clean service was not very welcoming seeing as they made it a point to let us know they were closing soon and needed to finish up.

Really cute little shop! They have crepes which was unexpected and the latte I had was pretty good. Barista was super friendly and helped us out with the menu. Would return if I lived in Charlotte 😂😂

This shop was a great find! Tucked away in a little corner of Charlotte. Their use of the LaMarzocco espresso machine gives them a top notch review from this coffee connoisseur. The crepes are amazing as the pastries are incredible. Can’t wait to visit here again.

This place is so amazing! Just went here today and had an absolute blast. The staff here was so friendly, and helpful since it was my first time here. Their crepes were absolutely delicious (I definitely recommend The Health Nut for a lovely breakfast!), their tiramisu was phenomenal, and their honeybun coffee, which is apparently their house special here, is so good that Im definitely coming back here often even if it is for the coffee alone. I seriously recommend this place!

From entry we felt like the staff thought we didn’t belong. We ordered 3 crepes and 3 coffees. The Staff were rude, disrespectful, exhibited micro aggression and left 2 of our crepes sitting out behind the counter for a long time. When we asked if they were ours, the staff said yes, rolled her eyes and walked away leaving the food behind the counter. Needless to say the 2 crepes were later delivered to our table cold and soggy. Then the third one later arrived hot and crispy so a stark comparison from the 2 cold ones. Giving 1 star because of the third crepe. Very bad experience and will never return. Extremely disappointed and do not recommend.

My favorite cafe in Charlotte, I love this place! Its super cozy inside and a really great place to get work done, the wifi is excellent. There are also outdoor seating options, which I love. And the coffee and food are so delicious! I usually get either the regular latte or the Lavender Fields latte (the second is a treat), and they always have a nice coffee to milk ratio. Ive never bought a meal here, but I love the sweet treats they have - the cookies of the day are great with the coffee, and I just had a chocolate rum ball that was divine. Everything is pretty well priced, too, which is an added bonus, and they use local NC roasters for their coffee beans! ❤️☕

This place is a GEM ! I came in by accident. I had time to kill and thought why not ?! My god what a FOUND !!! Thé café is small and super cute! I had a cappuccino and a DREAMY crêpe ! The coffee was really good and the crêpe tasted JUST like in France 😳❤️ I highly recommend this place.

That being said, I find it incredibly rude that you called me disgusting while in the cafe, which you conveniently failed to mention in this review, along with snatching the receipt out of my hand aggressively, causing a scene over a charge for extra sauce and accusing me of not knowing what I was doing. I dont appreciate your dishonesty and disrespect of myself and my work environment. My coworker was very uncomfortable with your confrontational attitude and tone of voice, and to accuse me of being a thief is preposterous and offensive. You yourself were not wearing a mask, so theres no need to be dishonest and say you didnt trust me to make your food because of the pandemic, especially since youve been here before. You were fully refunded. Feel free to speak with the owner, Ive already told her what transpired today.The staff and I work hard to ensure that every guest is treated with respect and courtesy, and we expect the same in return.

Great coffee and atmosphere. Always a great experience. They have amazing pastries, and other deserts, possibly the best in Charlotte. There is a great selection of coffee drinks, unusual and likely some surprises. Its worth a trip to check it all out.

Ordered 3 crepes, two were served soggy without the sauce thats makes the dish. The service was very bad. Neither of the two ladies behind the counter acknowledged me when I entered with my wife and elderly mother. It was as if they could care less we stayed or went, and the attitudes and the service which followed amplified their attitudes. Bad experience! I’ll never step foot in this place again!

I use to enjoy going to Crema until today! The manager over charged me $2.98 and when I corrected her you should have seen the hatred that she displayed. I told her she doesnt belong in the the dining industry with a nasty attitude like that. With COVID going around I didnt trust her to make my food so I stopped the order and requested my money back and she still short changed me...she is a thief! I will be reaching out to the owner.

Cute cafe. Great, extensive selection of unique (eastern European) pastries and cakes. The owner was very friendly and helpful in explaining all of the sweets. For once I had a hard time deciding what to get simply because I wanted several desserts! I settled on splitting the opera cake and the plum cake. The opera cake was decadent - but a tad too moist and the last few bites were too sweet. Ive had plum cake many times before and this didnt quite stack up, but was still very good. What I did like about it was that it wasnt too sweet and had a nice touch of tang from the plums. The cappuccino I had was a disappointment - absolutely no foam. Ill be back to give this cafe another try.

Latte and salted caramel pecan bomb were divine! Service was pleasant, atmosphere was perfectly lovely and chill. And prices were great. They even support local artists by hanging their art.

Best coffee in Charlotte and cozy atmosphere with beautiful wooden tables. This is probably the only place in Charlotte that knows how to make a LARGE and strong cappuccino without it being all milk. This would be my go to coffee shop if they had better breakfast pastries so that’s the only down fall! Beautiful desserts just not for breakfast/coffee dunking. Suggestion for management: make a variety of fresh/flaky croissants (plain, chocolate, twice baked almond) and a few flavors of muffins :)

Great food, made fresh! There were also cool drink recipes on offer. Really friendly service and its a local independent store so I love supporting them.

The coffee was good, the crepes “okay”, baristas friendly. But it was freezing in there already when one of them came out from behind the counter and propped the door open! The temp outside was in the 30s! Every patron had on their full outdoor attire, hats and one even had her gloves on. Coffee stayed hot like 2 minutes. But the workers went about their business and never noticed, it was miserable. We gave it a shot, but won’t go back.

I went on opening day and was impressed with the variety of crepes, pastries, teas, and coffee available. I had the Georgia Peach Tea and an Omega crepe. I also took a fruit tart home for breakfast the next day. Everything was delicious and the whole vibe was awesome. I will definitely be back!

We had a great time stopping by... we needed to kill some time and wandered in. I got the hamster? Crepe. It was superb, cheesy, meaty, yummy. Made to order, fresh and very tasty. We got a coffee for my tween. Her first iced mocha latte, *wink* light on the coffee, heavy on the chocolate and whipped cream. *wink* She loved it, and felt so grown up. And it was so sweet how nice they were. Thanks for the lovely treat!

The staff got my order wrong and when I mentioned it, she rolled her eyes and said OK sorry while staring at me with a disgust look ..it made me cringe so badly and I said its ok I take the wrong order, I just wanted to leave .. I had the pleasure of dining here on their opening day and was pleasantly delighted. Crema offers a wide variety of sweet and savory crepes, pastries, teas, and espressos. I tried the Chipotle Chicken and Nutella crepes, as well as the Georgia Peach Tea and Chai Tea Latte. Everything was delicious!! I am a big fan and will certainly be a regular at this establishment!

The first time I discovered this place I went back 3 times in one week! It has the cozy, authentic vibe of a European street cafe. Try the crepes!!Also— staff has been very kind and attentive every visit, which I recognize is extra difficult in these stressful, socially distant times. So I really appreciate it.

This is now my absolute favorite bakery in all of Charlotte. We tried six different items and all but one was a 10 out of 10, the other was a high 7. My coffee was fantastic. The owner, Alexa, is just a sweetheart and her husband is great. I hope the best for them.

If I closed my eyes and imagined the perfect coffee shop, I would see visions of Crema. The staff is genuinely friendly and helpful. The espresso drinks consistently come out perfect. I have a dairy allergy and have the upmost confidence that my requested milk alternative is what actually made it into my cup. They never burn the almond milk, which is a feat in itself. The baked goods are seriously mouth watering. From the drinks to the cakes, Crema nails everything perfectly, every time.

Check this place out! Great local coffee shop. I organized this for a quick business meeting, not having been here since it was the other coffee shop. Yummy small bites, house made pastries and CREPES! Please support the sweet staff and get your coffee here instead of the big guy down the street. I had a really yummy Earl Grey (all tea is loose leaf) latte and it came in the coolest steeper. Also great place for informal business meeting - quiet and comfortable. Ill definitely be back!

Nice atmosphere but terrible coffee. I ordered a single shot cappuccino with almond milk. It was truly horrible (but then again I am probably comparing it to Not Just Coffee - which is my fav). I normally never write reviews but I thought I could spare someone else the same mistake. I love trying new places but this was totally not worth it.

I had high hopes when coming in for my first visit. Unfortunately I was highly disappointed in the level of customer service I was given by 1 of the employees there. I wish I had remembered her name. There were 2 female employees at the time of my visit and only one exhibited any care or concern towards any of the customers that happen to be there. The one employee that was wearing a hat seemed completely frustrated and even seemed to take it out on her coworker while we were there. She was visibly irritated and not able to handle even the simplest of task..which is to provide even the most basic customer service and to speak to people with respect. While waiting for my order the one with the hat showed so much disregard and it clearly showed that she had no interest of making sure she was polite to the customers and she clearly did not want to be there. My suggestion to the management is to be mindful of the people whom are chosen to represent your business. I will most likely not return to this establishment.

We stopped by Crema Espresso this past weekend. GREAT place! Great location. Cozy feeling. Well-chosen table tops, light fixtures, and art work add to the subtle charm. Friendly service. Coffee was smooth (I drink mine black). Chocolate (blueberry) mousse is Killer! And the crepes (just like the ones from the owner’s other location in Matthews: #RoyalCafé&Creperie) are Excellent! Will be heading back soon.

Ive been here four times and get a caramel latte and specifically asked for a couple of shots of caramel. Three out of four times they seem to probably just drizzle the caramel in because theres no caramel taste. The Barista barely looked up to take my order and I found several employees to be rude. Im not that hard to please, just make my drink correctly and be friendly :-)

Try the lavender mimosa .Its beyond amazing .Their flavors are just great .Honey lavender latte .vanilla rose latte .Salted caramel breve. Go to one of their wine nights. Its great. Its fun, you meet great people, the owners join you. The owners life story is crazy amazing.The customer service is superb. It brings us back every weekend. They are just fantastic .The pastries arent very good. I would not recommend it. But the coffee and wine is great. Crepes are pretty good .Highly recommend.

Philly Cheese Crepe was absolutely delicious!

I like my coffee/tea hot. But, if you give someone truly boiling hot liquids and don’t say as much as “hey be careful this is boiling hot”, eventually you are going to hurt someone. This was borderline a “McDonalds” hot coffee situation. I got a latte to go and it has been 30 minutes and it is still undrinkable. Overall not a good experience.

Perfect Cortadito. What a perfect way to start my Saturday morning. Came in with no expectations, just wanted to see what they were working with. Ordered a double cortadito and to my surprise it was outstanding!! Inhave been disappointed so many times in the past by establishments selling this drink. This one nailed it!! Well done!!

Crema Espresso AND Crepes AND Omelets AND Pastries! This is a hidden gem in Dilworth, at the Kennilworth Commons shopping center near the Harris Teeter. If you love good coffee but dont like the bitterness of that chain, this is where you can find a good cup of coffee./espresso/etc. I love the cappuccino. But dont stop at the coffee. This place makes delicious European style pastries unlike any other place I have found in Charlotte, and that is because they have a Russian pastry chef on site. They also have crepes, and crepe-style omelets - trust me on this, you never knew you wanted an omelet made like this, but you do! Sandwiches and other options like their chia bowls look good too.
