Stopped by for a sandwich on a Monday afternoon. Upon entering its a little overwhelming, there are so many options for sandwiches, vegan and regular??, along with smoothies, drinks, chips and other snack goods. After reviewing the menu for a bit, went with the country club sandwich, and it arrived a few minutes later. The staff is super friendly and helpful btw! The sandwich was pressed and tasty, with fresh ingredients, cheese and mustard with just the right amount of tang. I would definitely return for another, or perhaps to try a breakfast sandwich in the AM.

This place is absolutely amazing! I tried the torta sandwich with steak and cheese and it was delectable and spicy and so flavorful. I will definitely be back. They had amazing vegan options as well for my friend!!

Their food is great but it’s best to call your order in because apparently they cannot afford mistakes and will not remake your order if you make a mistake ordering online. I was told “times are weird” and they lose too much money remaking things. Understandable but not respectable considering this policy is no where in writing. Not to mention, I am a repeat customer. They are more concerned about saving money than customer satisfaction is what I take from this.

I am late in posting this, but my wife and I REALLY enjoyed this place. The staff was friendly, and we were so thankful that they have a vegan menu! The egg/cheese sandwich that I tried was rather tasty. We will definitely be coming back. Go vegan! Go local! Go Deli St.!

FIVE STARS. my favorite deli in charlotte. amazing vegan and vegetarian options fill up half the menu, other half is non-vegetarian and equally delicious. price-wise, around the same price as most deli’s in charlotte, but much better taste and quality. customer service is great and the aesthetics are also very cool. definitely my go-to spot for nice vegetarian sandwiches.

If you go here you have to try the avocado ciabatta, really good mix of flavors and the seasoning adds just the perfect touch.. they have all kinds of food options for those who are picky eaters. The self standing restaurant is conveniently located on Central Avenue and Logie; drive thru window is available along with some outdoor seating. A little bit pricey but definitely worth treating yourself once in awhile..

Absolutely love this place, their food, and the staff. True professionals every step of the way. Always welcoming. The food is always fresh and delicious. They have a variety of desserts as well. Also an extensive craft beer collection. So happy they are in the hood.

Breakfast to lunch, Deli St. ALWAYS delivers. Their Tortas are insanely good. ToGo beer/chip/coffee selection is always of a great variety. Service is always pleasant. Outside seating to enjoy the day. Charlotte if you aren’t eating here... you’re missing out.

So glad I finally stopped in! Hungry for lunch or breakfast all day? This is a great place with fresh, tasty food, reasonably priced, and a great ambiance decorated with artists work, including beautiful plants. Also a monthly artist market in the parking lot, 1st Saturday of the month. 9:00-3:00. Staff is friendly and welcoming. Try it soon. You may become a regular.

My kids had the bacon egg and cheese on ciabatta and I had the Plaza Midwood. We also had the Tariq smoothie. The woman who owns the deli was there and her daughter took our order. Beautiful place. Plants and a really eclectic vibe. They had wall to wall beer and wine. The food was delicious and the sandwiches were big. The smoothie was great and very clean. Would love to visit here after the virus and spend some time inside. We ordered take out at the counter and then drove up to the window a few minutes later to pick up our food.

Great local deli with unique great tasting options. I would order ahead because it is not the quickest. Local art for sale inside with local food options. Its really good overall.

We went here because they have lots of vegan and vegetarian options. Cozy little place. Fairly easy to spot from the road. Indoor and outdoor seating options. The tofu in my club was seasoned well and delicious. I was curious to try out the eggplant bacon. It was quite tasty as well. The sandwiches arent huge, but the prices are very reasonable.

I am so happy this place exists. Everything about it is nourishing to my soul. From the beetroot smoothie and vegan breakfast sandwiches on croissants, to the overall vibe— impecable playlist and gorgeous plants scattered about, this place is truly incredible. The service was great and the atmosphere was super relaxed.. they even had the food network on (praise). Our sandwiches came super quickly and even came with hash browns! The chingón sandwich was delish and a comforting vegan version of breakfast sandwiches I ate as a kid. I love this place.

This is a great little sandwich shop! While on my last visit to Charlotte my friends I was visiting brought me here for lunch. What a great place! I knew the moment I walked in the door I was somewhere special.The establishment was quite busy so we jumped in line and looked at the boards while waiting our turn. That turn came pretty quick and you could see the staff was a well oiled machine and handled the crowd like pros.I ended up ordering the St Julian Club and switched the bread Sourdough. This comes loaded with Italian meats, provolone cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, roasted red peppers, oil, vinegar and oregano. Its basically an Italian club sandwich and frickn delicious!!!My friends ordered the Hawthorn Beef and the Country Club. The Hawthorn Beef came on Marbled Rye Bread which was loaded with roast beef, Swiss cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, habanero onions, pickles, spicy mustard and mayo. The Country Club was no slouch either and had roast beef, turkey, ham, cheddar and provolone cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, mayo and mustard.What a super delicious lunch! Frankly if I lived in Charlotte Id be a regular here. No doubt about it. One other thing to point out is that this is also a store and you can get your own meats and baked goods from here all day long. They also have wines and smoothies, so theres something for everyone here. Check them out!

Fantastic vegan options! El Chingón (vegan egg cheese & sausage on a croissant) is my go-to. The tropical smoothie is delish. Staff is lovely & I love how theyre always supporting local artists and small businesses!

On Sunday my boyfriend and I went in and asked about the Vegan BLTCA sandwich and it was awesome. We was extremely pleased!! The only issue I had was after we ate I asked what type of bacon it was and was told by the owner that it was veggie bacon. Fast forwarded til today. I came to get the sandwich again the so called veggie bacon was soft and looked, smelled and tasted like turkey bacon. The texture and color was different. I asked the owner if it was the same bacon and she stated that it was but had the cook make me a new one and make the bacon crispy but it was absolutely the same. I really felt uncomfortable because I know how turkey bacon smell and look. I wish I could post it. I will not be going back and will try to post pictures on FB. I have always had a pleasant experience with Deli St. But I will no longer coming back, due to my distrust I have. I need to trust that the ingredients are all vegan, the company should provide the ingredients as well as no what type of veggie bacon is being used. To me that is unacceptable.

Beginnings of anything are distant, blurry and a head turner before I did the walk in, right timing and something new where I brought family friends business- a like, dear relationships and meetings to this long paradise relationship. Just when my transition to vegetarian lifestyle and a vegan eye-full met with me and my purpose art and good health to visiting everyday. Awesome for the Plaza mid Wood community and whoever who visits the QC. Then They added art the mix as well is more touching so dumbs up go joy yourself. Thanks Cindy and the beauty crew.

Deli St is absolutely amazing. They don’t skimp on anything and it’s healthy (if you want fresh veggies and vegan options) and hearty. There is literally no reason to ever go to a McCallisters, Showmars, Subway, or Jersey Mike’s if you want something quick. The quality is eons above these establishments. Love love love! ♥️♥️♥️

If you want to pay $10 for a bread and lettuce sandwich with a razor thin slice of cheese, this is the spot for you! I got the commonwealth and it was just a disappointment. Think I’m done with this place.

Very friendly staff.The chickpea avocado toast was fine, but didnt have any flavor of even salt or pepper. Skip the hash browns, they were clearly frozen store bought patties that were not even crispy. The tropical smoothie had so much almond that I was chewing more than drinking.

Tons of vegan options. For my 1st visit today, I got the Vegan AF sandwich and it was VERY flavorful. The place is clean, good vibes from the staff and the COVID protocol was appreciated.

Just moved back to Plaza Midwood and was pleased to see this place open. You can really tell they put a lot of thought into their set up and menu. I got an egg sandwich, green smoothie and a slice of red velvet cake for someone I work with. Food was excellent and staff friendly. Highly recommend.

This place is a delight. The inside is super cute and laid back and covered in houseplants. The staff is always incredibly welcoming and friendly. They have a great selection of beers and wine bottles available to buy. Their coffee is strong, straightforward, and tastes great. They also have a good sized breakfast and lunch menu, as well as a case filled with cake and other sweets. I recently tried one of their vegan sandwiches (the Landis Ave.) and was a VERY happy customer. Check it out next time youre around Plaza Midwood!

Just ate the absolute best pasta salad I’ve ever had in my life. Capers, Pickles, celery and very light mayo. I started to devour before I could even take a picture.

Absolutely delicious, I had one of the specials yesterday and the presentation was nice to boot! there were several other people there and the woman at the counter was really doing all she could to make it a great lunch for everyone, highly recommended.

My husband and I stopped at Deli St for our routine Saturday morning coffee run this past weekend. The service we received was great and the blueberry muffin we had was drool worthy. However; the drinks that we got, a drip coffee and iced hazelnut latte, were a little underwhelming. It is a nice little addition to Central Ave and we will definitely be back to give the coffee another go and try their delicious looking lunch menu. Worth checking out!

I had the Outsider. The sandwich was good, but five of us came into together. I was the second one to order. Everyone else in my group got their order except me. It took almost 15 minutes for me to get my sandwich. The first person served was almost finished eating. Disappointed. I wish you had more seating for groups. Inside we’re 2 tables we could have used, but each of those tables were being used by 1 person. It was difficult for our group to sit at the bar as 3 of the group are over 70 years of age. I doubt we will be back as a group for that reason.

Love the torta. I like to add hot sauce personally. Quaint spot with a lot to offer.

The food was good. It took a long time, and the worker dropped our bad as she handed it to us because her diamond studded nails were about an inch long and pointy. I couldnt help but think about her prepping my food as I ate it. These do not belong in the restaurant field.
