Great service. Amazing taste.You can actually taste the bean instead of a bunch of sugar.Most importantly, the staff wears masks and the space is super sanitary.Would definitely recommend this small business instead of the regular coffee giants.

I had the drip coffee and an espresso with milk. Both were excellent. Bought a bag of beans home, which also turned out excellent. This is as good as any coffee you can get anywhere in the USA. The muffin was a little wet inside, but flavor was good. Would go back without a doubt.

Finally found good coffee in Charlotte after living here for nearly a year. This is hands down the best coffee Ive had. Not a lot of seating inside and no plugs to charge your laptop though.

Best espresso bar and roaster in Charlotte for my many visits a year. Always in the light to medium range of roasts, flavorful and fruit forward.

Had an amazing experience here. I ordered an espresso and batch brew and both were brewed to perfection. The espresso was on the lighter side as far as mouth feel and thickness. It had the perfect amount of acidity and overall was a great espresso.Batch brew was remade just for me because the current brew wasn’t up to the baristas standard. Ended up buying a bag of coffee because of how impressed I was with the flavor and attention to detail to the craft.

Nat and “Zack White” were on it. Quick and quality service! Our espresso was delicious and the milk had ideal texture. This is a must stop for anyone desiring incredible, professional coffee. Can’t wait to visit again!

Came in to try their espresso and was helped by Sean who took the time to educate a newbie to the home barista hobby. The coffee was excellent, service superb and the overall experience second to none. I highly recommend Hex to anyone that wants a great cup of coffee in Charlotte.

Nice place to relax, people watch, eat good, etc. Really nothing but great experiences here, so I will be back. The place has a nice atmosphere. Feeling here is similar to a cafe in San Jose I liked.

My only complaint about HEX: I wish it was bigger.Their Golden Milk latte is one of the best in town — and if you add a shot of espresso, it’s the perfect non-coffee pick me up.I love coming here in the afternoon to finish my work day — and if I’m up for it, grabbing a beer when I’m done.Great staff, great vibe, great coffee.

Excellent coffee & service!

This place is a rare spot. Its got the feeling of an old, hidden church where the magic still runs strong in the earth. Peaceful and gentle, with a kind atmosphere.Never have I seen someone treat coffee so reverantly, and never has it tasted as good. If youre ever in need of a moment of quiet repose and a good cuppa, this is the place.

I love the look of this place, staff and clients are friendly, fast wifi, and quality coffee. I think what sets this place apart too is they allow pups! Its the perfect place to chill with friends or get a lot of work done!

HEX Espresso Bar is one of the best coffee spots in Charlotte. They make some of the best coffee I have ever tasted. Every from their craft lattes to their pour overs are incredible.If you want GOOD coffee, HEX is your spot.They also sell their own roast that is used in various shops around town. One of the best blends Ive tasted.

Hex coffee is the best coffee in Charlotte! Recently, they have revamped their seating which has helped make a better feel for meetings and space to study!

Hex was incredible! I got handed a free latte outside the shop and WOW it was delicious! It was really kind of them to give out a free coffee and even better that it tasted great! Definitely will be stopping by there again!

Id love to go back if Im ever in town again. Really loved hex. Great coffee, cool little find. They even were trying to not have much waste at all, which I really appreciate. I had their ginger turmeric latte and it was really fantastic iced!

They have really great coffee but the last 5 times Ive went theyve been closed. I went on different days, times of day, etc and there is no posting of hours. Would love to go again but not worth the drive at this point

The name of the place also goes by Good Bottle Co... so if youre like me driving around and trying to find a sign from the street you wont see anything large that says HEX coffee (except for a small logo on the actual door). Coffee is good but as stated by others is expensive compared to other Charlotte locations. Plenty of seating inside and out to get work done, however, all seating is stiff and modern - wish they had some plush leather or comfortable options for guests who like to stay and use wifi.

I am a huge fan of locally roasted coffee and Hex does not disappoint. I just moved here from Minnesota where we had the likes of Spyhouse and Dogwood coffee roasters (which are the best Ive ever had) so it was good to see that Hex is on that same exact level.And to top it off, the staff/owners are great people and very helpful. They showed me how to step up my french press game at home so now I buy all my beans from these guys so I can have Hex at home.Also, its a great place to come get some work done (I work from home) during the day.But wait, it gets even better: They have an outstanding beer bottle shop! I know, right? Coffee AND craft beer? Yeah, these guys know exactly what theyre doing and I love supporting them. Its great to stop by every morning during my bike ride to get a coffee and then in the evenings stop in for a nice craft draft.

Drove here but almost missed it...glad I didnt!It is hard to miss as it is inside Good Bottle Co.The seating is limited and the majority of the location is taken up by the beer racks.Having said that, it is a nice place with a very good espresso (iced mocha was my drink of choice).The longer I was inside the more comfortable it felt and by the time I left, I made a note to make sure to return.I also like the music choice. It fit the establishment.

Best coffee in Charlotte by far. Pretty expensive ($5) but worth it if youre treat(ing) yo self. Theyre coffee drinks come in interesting but delicious flavors, I think I had a dark chocolate rose latte or something similar which was so good. Theyre iced vanilla draft is a go-to for me. The location is great to work or just relax and they have an excellent variation of bottled and draft beers. Easy going and laid back vibe.

GREAT coffee, though quite pricey (the reason for the 4 stars as opposed to 5). The staff is friendly and unpretentious (what I tend to expect at high-end coffeeshops) and always willing to answer questions. Their seasonal drinks are ON POINT - they think creatively when creating their menu, so you arent getting the usual peppermint mocha or pumpkin spice. They are very unique.Keep in mind, it is a small espresso bar with limited menu, so dont expect 10 different flavor options. But their espresso is fantastic! I highly recommend it, even if just to treat yourself if you cant afford to spend $5 or more on a cup on a regular basis. Otherwise, Id come here all the time!

HEX coffee is a fantastic experience. They love the craft of coffee and it shows in everything they do. Molly the barista is a total star. She was super friendly and made an amazing latte. Do yourself a favor and go there for coffee.

Found this place online as we were driving through North Carolina to Geogia and wanted to checkout a local roaster. The staff were great, made a nice shot and they gifted us a bag of coffee. Plus I love their packaging. Good coffee and great staff!

My go to coffee shop in Charlotte! Best vanilla latte Ive had so far any where and believe me Ive been to many. This is not your neighborhood Starbucks with extensive menu, they specialize in lattes and espresso drinks.

Went there because it was recommended as a place to get coffee and work. There wireless connection didnt work and there were few seats near power outlets. Poor coffee selection, so I got a latte I didnt want. It was good enough.

EXCELLENT espresso, great beans. Dont expect a full coffee shop, this is literally a counter with an espresso machine inside of a bottle shop/tap room. However, there is lots of room to sit and chill!

The latte here was something special. It ranks up there with the espresso drinks Ive had in Seattle and Chicago. Also, the barista was super nice and is a fan of the band American Football. So, you should definitely check this place out when you get a chance.
