The best experience! Great prices at 8$ for 30 minutes of time with the kitties. I also enjoyed the match lavender lemonade. Make sure to reserve your spot early! If you like cats this is a required experience at least once! I also love they make sure to find homes for all the babies! All of the kitties were around 5-6 months. Also the only rule is you cannot pick them up.

Didnt get to spend long here, but we spent some time talking to one of the people there and they were very helpful and answered all of our questions. The store is beautiful and I love the aesthetic. It has a boho, industrial kinda feel and there is art everywhere. I would recommend it to anyone in the area, but make sure to book time online for the cat lounge.

I’ve been to dozens of cat cafes and this is by FAR the best cat cafe I’ve ever been to. The staff was amazing, super friendly and accommodating. The cats were very well taken care of and loved. 10/10 would recommend

My friend and I stopped by on a whim while visiting town. LOVED the cafe’s clean, welcoming environment, and of course the real stars of the show - the precious cat friends. We didn’t try any beverages but we could’ve stayed in the cat room all day long. It was really hard to not leave with a new furry family member… we will be back!

We loved our hour long visit, I could have stayed all day! Its so clean and welcoming and the staff was so nice and came in to tell us about the different cats. It was good to hear so many get adopted too, cause thats whats is all about.

Its impossible to be in a bad mood at Cat Cafe! We stayed for an hour and relaxed and played with some sweet and silly cats. The staff were very friendly and easy going. The drinks were delicious. While it is a bit pricey, there are often Groupons.

Highly recommend this place!! The staff are so nice and not pushy at all. Had coffee that’s was really good and flavorful. The environment is nice and open with so many cats to hang with. I did the hour session and was really happy after I left!

We really enjoyed our time at Mac Tabby. They have great decor, friendly staff, a good list of beverages, and a great space for the cats.The private hour with cats compared to the other cat cafe in Charlotte is more pricey, but Mac Tabby is open longer/more days and has a lot to offer in the heart of NoDa before and/or after the cat visit.They have a large room for the visits. If you dont book for a private hour, they are currently letting in 12 people per hour. It looked pretty crowded for my comfort during covid. Most people were wearing masks but not all and since they have drinks, folks are taking them up and down. Pre Covid, they let in 15 people per hour.

Very nice experience!! the cats were very friendly and well taken care of. the employee cared about the cats as well as the customers and was very kind. my honey oat latte was super good, too! highly recommend (they also sell cute earrings inside). we were taken into the cat lounge with a few other guests and were brought our drinks. after a while of getting settled in the employee gave us treats to give the cats and talked to us a bit about them (names, background, etc). if youre looking to adopt this is a great option, too. if you have mild allergies to cats, i wouldnt worry too much. bring allergy medicine just in case but they keep it SO clean I barely had a reaction.edit: forgot to mention we asked the manager for a nice local picnic spot and she was very responsive and nice. they definitely go the extra mile here :)another edit (so much to rave about), we drove about an hour and half to come here and i can honestly say it was completely worth it. even 4.9 stars is too low, should be 5.

Wonderfully warm and eclectic cat cafe located up a flight of stairs on the second storey of a building in the NODA neighborhood of Charlotte, NC. Staff are super friendly and full of enthusiasm. CATS!!!! Wow, so much fun. Went with a group and got some drinks to sip on and then just played with the various cats and kitties they have waiting to be adopted. This is a must stop for anyone in town, give the pets some love and have a fun time. Yay for having a place like this around!

I love Mac Tabby. They are super friendly here and the cat cafe experience is great. Every cat I interacted with was super friendly with a great personality. We even ended up adopting one of the cats that we really clicked with. Hes been with us since Summer 2019 and hes really settled into the home life. The adoption process gave us no issues and it was great to get to know the cat first-hand.The coffee here is also really good. Despite the many cats (which are kept separate from the cafe area), the whole area is spotless and exceptionally clean. I cant recommend this cafe enough to anyone who likes animals, good coffee, or both.I didnt think to take any photos of the cafe, but I did include a picture of our adopted cat, Khoshekh (formerly known as Rustin).

So fun and the people are so nice! Its a cat paradise. I recommend going earlier in the day because I went at 5pm and the cats were low energy. Still worth it!

Unfortunately wasnt able to partake in the cats and whatnot due to the popularity of the establishment, however, the coffee and green tea was still worth the visit.Subtly looking over Noda and the general traffic, you can sit at the side bar and enjoy a solid coffee, tea, or brew with plenty of choices among their menu.The staff was absolutely the definition of friendly even though they had to apologize due to their high booking and inability to accommodate us at that time.You can still look through the windows and see the cats enjoying their lap of luxury and attention theyre receiving from us commonfolk.Would come by but make a reservation so I could play among the kings and queens of the Mac Tabby Realm

Such a sweet spot! Great drinks and vibe, and the cats are soooo friendly and cute. I came to get some work done, which was a little tricky with cats on my keyboard, but theres space outside of the cat area where you can still soak up the vibe without distractions.

My Mom and I took my daughter here for her 21st bday, she absolutely loved it. Smaller coffee area than I expected, but many different choices. Nice big play area with the cats. What a great idea. The vibe was neat.

BEST PLACE EVER!!! I got their lemonade and it was great, but the cats were definitely the spotlight of this place! all the cats are up for adoption, and they have a huge playroom with multiple lounge areas where the cats will sit with you! decor is also beautiful in this space. cheapest form of therapy, for sure returning!!!

A really quaint and fun cafe with a laid back vibe that offers coffee, craft beer and juices.The cafe supports a great cause to help in adoptions of felines to find forever homes.The cats roam freely in the kitty lounge that is separate from the cafe. For a small fee you can even have play time and interaction with the cats in their lounge. Its a great way to offer love and support to cats in need! Meow!

Great little spot for coffee and to play with some kittens/cats ready to be adopted. Went for a date with my boyfriend and we felt so welcomed. Everyone was so friendly, and even went above and beyond to make my boyfriend a specific coffee. We enjoyed our time and will be back!

I would have to agree with others reviews.. if you just want to visit with some cats this is a great place! If you are looking to adopt, I would look elsewhere. The process is quite difficult, and I dont mean the screening.. adopters should always be screened. I mean more it was hard to get a straight response the entire time.

Very nice place. We went for my girlfriends birthday today and was not disappointed at all. The staff was very nice and the cats, oh so many friendly cats. For two people for an hour was $24 and the coffee was really great. Youll definitely need to stop by and see them!

Honestly, do not miss this experience. The staff was phenomenal, the shop/lounge was so much fun, and the cat lounge area was clearly made to spoil the cats so perfectly. It was spacious and very well organized. The staff were knowledgeable about the adoption process and each cats personality and quirks! The cats are clearly living the life! Would recommend to anyone. Im not even a cat person and loved it!

Missing my own fur babies whilst traveling has been difficult, but thankfully Mac Tabby Cat Cafe is here to help! There were so many lovable felines to cuddle and play with. The atmosphere was warm and inviting. Great warm cocoa and treats for us humans too! Will surely return to support such a great cause and give my new feline friends some love.

My sister and I had a really lovely time hanging out with the cats! The staff is super nice which definitely adds to the warm and inviting atmosphere. I could not expect a more enjoyable experience out of this- there are enough cats to love on for everyone even if many of them are sleeping. They all look very well cared for - and all are adoptable! This is a must for cat lovers! I added this stop last minute on my 4-day trip to Charlotte and it was by far my favorite experience in the city. The cat to human ratio made it possible to play and cuddle the whole time. Great coffee too! Cant wait to go back!

Loved seeing the kitties in such a thoughtful and clean environment. The cats are very happy here and they have good rules to protect the cats. Price is very affordable and the staff cares about the cats AND the guests. I only had one critique- my coffee was a tad colder than I would prefer but I didn’t say anything otherwise I’m sure the staff would have brewed it fresh. The adoption fee was just right and I recommend a visit!

Such a great chill vibe, I love coming here to visit because I have two high prey drive dogs and feel it wont be best to have a kitten in the mix as well. All the kittens are adoptable and they are absolutely adorable

Went to Mac Tabby for the first time today (Thanksgiving) and it was wonderful! The staff was super friendly, the cats were adorable, and the drink options were great.

Excellent cafe with great staff, every time I go there I feel relaxed, and the coffee is always made perfectly. I havent actually gone into the Cat Room, but you can see in though glass and it always looks good in there.

Love being able to visit with cats when I am away from home. The cats during my visit were super friendly, way more so than other cat cafe’s I have visited. Owner was very nice as well. Highly recommend. Note that they are moving to a new space soon.

I visited the Mac Tabby Cat Cafe earlier today, sadly I came during the cats naptime so it wasnt too active but it was still an AMAZING time! I came before around 2 years ago and remembered some but not the whole experience so I decided to come again for my birthday. I really adored one cat (Cooper) but sadly cannot adopt him right now, one day I plan to come with the chance of adopting but not today. I love all of the Cafes furniture pieces and cat toys. The cats were all slouched on their towers and were s cute! The coffee was great too. The adoption rate is amazing, almost 474 as I recall. I recommend to and cant wait for my next visit!!!!

Amazing experience! We visited a few weeks ago, and the cats were so friendly and playful. If youre a cat lover, dont think twice about booking a reservation at Mac Tabby - especially if youre looking to adopt a new kitty. Its refreshing to see them running about and enjoying themselves, rather than stuck in a small cage in a miserable environment.The staff was also excellent! They were very attentive to all the cats specific needs, which was awesome to see! You can tell they genuinely enjoy working there, and the cats love it there as well. :-)Only thing that can be improved is the coffee/drink/food selection. Its worth mentioning that I may be biased here after visiting some other more established cat cafes in other cities though. This place is only going to get better as time goes on!

Excellent place! I love the vibes, drinks, and cats. I felt very comfortable the whole time (especially with the pandemic and guidelines). The staff is so friendly and helpful. The cats are just purrrrfect! I didn’t want to leave!

Such a fantastic place! Spending an hour with all the kitties was so much fun! So many different cats, all ages, unique personalities....a really special outing. They also have a great selection of refreshments. We had the Spiced Apple Cider, Pumpkin Pie Tea, and Chai Latte. All delicious!!

Its a cozy cafe with a mission! The staff had a rush of customers while I was there, but handled each order with grace and efficiency. Though no reservations are required to visit with the cats, they are encouraged on the weekends because of the influx of customers. Ill be back!

This was one of the most fun experiences ever! The staff was extremely friendly, and I had one of the best lattes Ive ever had (seriously, order the honey oat latte). The kitties were all so sweet and I was surprised at how social they all were. Ive grown up around cats and I can confidently say the cats in the cafe were all sweet and playful. I think this is such a wonderful idea and love that the cats are all finding forever homes. I will likely be coming back and recommend this to anyone in the Charlotte area :)

Mac Tabby is such a cute spot to drink coffee, wine, study, while calmly falling in love with the cats and enjoying your time. Its in a nice little upstairs area too, so its the perfect little cat nook. After the pandemic, I hope to get a membership!

Absolutely amazing. I went with my friend and we had a great time. The place was clean, the coffee was so good and the lady who was working was sweet! She really made us feel at home. She answered all of our questions! Hanging out with kitties is an absolute dream. Everyone should experience this and adopt your next kitty from here! We will definitely be back!

Sharing time with cats is a passion of mine, since I have one at home! The atmosphere at this cafe is chill and you cant help but feel relaxed once you step into the cat room.I loved spending time with each of the cats. You have the choice of playing with them, petting them, or simply enjoying their presence and watching their antics in the cat room.The drink I got at the start of the cat cafe session was great, too. I couldnt choose between the black tea and the chai, but the latter was suggested to me. Definitely get the chai, its fantastic.

Extremely friendly, down-to-earth staff and the best employees were the cats!! $8 for 30 min or $12 for 1 hour (30 mins is better, since an hour felt long). We chose this place because it was open until 9:00 pm!!When we first entered the cat playroom, four cats ran up to greet us. There were 12 cats in total. They were eager to play or snuggle next to your foot. Only downside is you cant pick em up, though its okay if they decide to sit in your lap.It was such a chill vibe and great to close your eyes and destress with soft jazz. It was a Starbucks Java atmosphere with relaxed cats (cafe was separate!!) Paid $8 for bottled beverage which was $$, but there were more affordable snacks on the menu.In playroom, lots of toys, and snuggly, comfy carpets and places for humans and cats to sit. Surprised that it did NOT smell like cats or stinky tho sometimes you could smell kitty boo-boo if the litter room swung open. Employees work hard to keep it clean and fresh smelling. They even gave us treats and catnip to give the kitties.

While I will say as a cane user it is hard to get up to, I readily enjoyed my stay.Not only do they have a wonderful cafe the room where you sit with the cats was a perfect size for small parties.

Cats!!!!! This was a great place to visit for cat lovers. My family wants to go back. They do advertise that the cats sleep between 2-4, and we did go between 2-4 so most cats were sleeping. I want to go back when they are awake.

Amazing! As a cat lover this was such a great experience. Clean and just a chill place to hang with cats. And they are all adoptable as well, which is fantastic in case you fall in love with a kitty.

The drinks were good and the cats were cute, but they let way too many people in the cat room at once and it felt uncomfortable a few crowded. It felt more like we were bothering the cats than anything else, and the cat to person ratio was off and made it a struggle to even get any time to be near a cat, let alone play with one. Half the people were pestering relaxing or sleeping cats.

Great decor, has 3 guitars to play, very chill calm relaxing atmosphere, has cats to play with and rub. 30mins in the cat lounge is 8$, 1hr is 12$. you can chill in the main lounge for as long as you want. I went on a sunday. staff are friendly. has a few drinks and snacks, but not many. So eat before or after. u can however bring the snacks in the cat lounge. Theres a groupon online.

Great staff, lots of places for cats to chill. If they dont want to socialize there are places they can sleep without being disturbed. The woman in the room with us monitored everyone well. They also had a cute set up in the cafe and good drink options. Everyone working there was friendly. Their prices are great too. I was worried it would be expensive to pet the cats, but I was pleasantly surprised.

It is a relaxing café. You will have to buy your beverage and pay for being in the cat room $6 for half an hour. Friendly staff, lazy cats may be becouse I came at 5 pm and they were tired playing. I recommend it to people who love something new. I am allergic to cats but everything went amazing.

We went on Christmas Eve and had a wonderful time! The cats are well loved and the space is very clean. The cats socialized very well with us and they interact great with each other. There’s plenty enough places for the cats to rest or hide when they need a break from humans.

Great cat and coffee experience! The kittens & cats were sweet and well cared for. The cat area looks and smells very clean. I like that they limit visitors to keep the cats from being too stressed. I also like that they dont allow you to pick up cats, in order to reduce their stress.My only complaints are the ambiance and acoustics. The music is a little too loud and I worry that it would be a bit much for the cats (people can be loud to be heard over the music). The music seems to cover up the echoes of the wood floors - I really think adding some carpets and playing quieter, calm music (classical/jazz?) would do better for the cats well-being. To be clear, Im not accusing anyone of mistreating the cats!My girlfriend I and had a lot of fun and were very happy to support rescue cats. Would definitely go again!!

Have been here twice and I love it. However only giving four stars because the most recent time I came, there was no real enforcement of covid safety. A handful of people that were together consistently had their masks worn as chin straps in addition to things simple as picking up the cats (which also is not allowed) Otherwise, great drinks and adorable cats for sure!

Had a great time visiting....we missed our furbabies. It seemed a little pricey to sit in a room to visit the cats....but we did miss our babies!
