I would like to brag on the vision center manager Tamika Evans. She is awesome. She’s so nice and was very helpful to me. She went above and beyond to help me order a replacement pair of glasses. She even went as far as to call another store for the specific frame I needed and I received them within a week of ordering. Thank you thank you thank you Tamika. You rock girl!!!

Connie was great although it is the worst pair of glasses i have ever had. I can not see well at all. I went to have adjustments and still no better. The lenses are blury. Will never go there again.

These people giving poor reviews have got to be referring to another place. I have been going to Vision Center on N. Tryon (formerly at JW Clay) for over 20 years. For a long time, the optometrists office next to the VC had been like a revolving door. I often got my exams elsewhere.. However. Dr. LeBlanc has been there quite a few years and he always gets the prescriptions right. LeBlancs full price for an exam (if you dont have insurance) is at the lower price range.The Vision Center can get quite busy, but after waiting my turn, I have always been treated well, and was never rushed. They are thorough with fittings and adjustments. They are knowleable about insurance and can work out figures if you want to compare your insurance vs. AARP discount (substantial at 30 percent off the total for glasses, even with add-ons that might not be covered by insurance).A bonus here for an insurance-covered purchase of glasses is that later (summer, I believe), VC offers glasses at half-price. For me, the second pair of glasses comes to about the same price as the insurance-covered.

They are so rude at this location!!!! Ignored me for about 20 minutes then rudely asked me what I want and then told me 2 different availability dates when I was trying to make an eye exam appointment. Definitely not coming here again, if you hate dealing with people get out of customer service....

I have been here several times to order my glasses. The process is always great. This time I actually had fun! The ladies are quite personable. Thanks Ms Connie! Im picking up both paits of glasses today. So excited!

I come here for my eye exams, my contacts and my sons glasses. I would bring my son here for exams, but he has to see a specialist. Ive always received great service. The store manager, Heidi, is great with my son (almost 3 years old) and he wont let anyone else help him. I continue to come here even though weve moved further away.

My experience with this vision center was horrible. Customer service reps and the Optometrist do not effectively communicate. My prescription has been wrong on numerous occasions. I have been dealing with them for months. When it should have only been one ocasssion. I feel that the the doctor is not knowledgeable or professional. I would not recommend a blind dog to this vision center. I feel like they all that is cared about at this facility is my money. Customer service out of 10 is a 0.

Dr. LeBlanc was so kind to me. I was really worried about the blurry vision I was having. He told me it was a scratch in my cornea and what to do for it. The receptionist is absolutely a doll. I would recommend this vision center to anyone!

I was helped by a very rude sales associate named Connie. She was very snappy with me and didnt preform her job adequately. She very slowly went through the process of adding me onto their system. After asking me numerous times if I had been there before to which I answered yes. She didnt believe me and then finally came to the conclusion that I wasnt added to the new system yet. After about 15 minutes of waiting for her to process my information she asked me how I would be paying for the contacts I ordered to which I replied insurance. She practically hissed at me and then asked why I didnt tell her that in the beginning. Whereas I see she should have asked in the beginning. While trying to file my insurance information she was very short with me and wouldnt look me in the eye. When I was giving her the information she was asking for she kept telling me no and then would slowly talk me in a belittling way to try and get her question across. After giving her the same answer several times she finally wrote it down and understood. Then she had to go through the entire filing process again which took another 20 minutes of waiting.By far the worst service Ive ever had. Wouldnt recommend this location to ANY ONE.

The doctor gave excellent and friendly service. Selecting frames was a simple process and the staff working at the time were all friendly and helpful.

This place has good Doctor, I and my wife visit here every year for eye checkup. One of the store Associate by name Ann is very kind, patient and helpful... But now I do not want to go to place anymore because of the new lady manager by name Heidi and another new senior sales associate. Both ladies are rude, impatient and use offensive words to customers.

Sales associate Ana was terrific. Her mild manner makes you feel welcomed and at ease. Her customer service was exceptional.Sales Associate Rafael on the other hand was very stand-offish. Ana and I needed his assistance with a problem occurring in THEIR computer system regarding pricing, and he told us he would help us shortly after his customer. Well he finished with his customer, then two, then three more came and he ignored Ana and I. When he finally came over to help us he said he didnt know how to fix the problem and we would have to call a hotline and then he walked away again. He doesnt seem to care about the customer. If Ana wasnt there, I would not go back.

Not sure about the other staff, but the sales associate Ann is very kind and helpful. The day I went to the store at about 5.30 pm she didnt even have lunch and was still patiently helping me out. I was also able to select and get out within minutes.

Easily the worst customer service, but Im not sure what I should expect since it is wal mart.From my initial phone call with the receptionist in the vision center, she was rude and rushing me off the phone. So I took the liberty of thinking maybe they were busy, so I went into the store instead. I get to the store to see theyre not busy and to be treated with disrespect and lack of care. I just wanted to purchase contacts but when the receptionist flung my papers back at me as she looked up my prescription I clearly could tell I was unwanted there and they clearly didnt want my business.i decided Id rather drive home with no contacts than purchase anything from these rude bitter elderly women.

Very bad Customer service...and Earlin is so RUDE!! No manners at all!!! Long waiting hours too... came here twice and both times had truly a disappointing experience!!

The Vision Center @ Walmart North Tryon is wonderful. The staff is excellent and the doctors are extremely thoughtful. I wouldnt go anywhere else!!!

Very bad service they did not give me the right glasses I could not see anything and when I returned they treated me very badly they shouted at me and they did not return my money so I lost my money and time
