I parked on the side of their building in a line of empty spots to go to a food truck parked *in the same lot* and was booted when I came back 3 minutes later. I hadnt even noticed the restriction sign. This had absolutely nothing to do with the function of their business- just simple extortion. Theyve lost my business for good.
Got my first order a few days ago and Im shocked by how good these are. Was looking for healthy alternatives for lunch/dinner since I work in healthcare and have little time to cook. The lasagna is my favorite! Having Celiac disease, its super hard to find gf noodles. Glad I found it here! Ive already purchased another weeks worth. Only thing is Id wish for larger portions, or maybe more snacks? 🙌
I love this place, I stock up on meals weekly! I’m a yoga instructor and teach late nights, so their meals are extremely convenient for when I need food as soon as I get home. I’ve enjoyed everything I’ve had from them but a few of my favorites are Korean connection, turkey meatloaf, and sriracha chicken. While their meals are already really healthy, I add more vegetables, like broccoli or kale, on top of the meals before microwaving.
Too expensive for such little food. Not worth the money
Im actually a fan of this place, both conceptually and, to a degree, in execution, because they use quality ingredients that reheat well/quickly and are fairly balanced nutritionally, but one particular disappointment I think everyone should go in accounting for is that multiple meals have demonstrably inaccurate macros on the labels. Some of their meals are harder to guage the nutritional value of, but some are very simple and identifying their macros was as simple as weighing out the ingredients, which I did, yielding nutritional compositions that, while still being healthy and wholesome, dont fall within a reasonable standard deviation of the labeled macros, even accounting for an expectable variation between the packing of individual meals. Not a big deal to many who just want fresh, easy, and nutritious meals, but maybe a useful note for anyone trying to hit stricter macros.
Finally caved in to a meal service after getting tired of the labor required in my off time from work/ working out.I was prepared to sacrifice taste for convenience, expecting something close to cardboard, but I am so pleasantly surprised!! Food is tasty & consistency upholds throughout storing for the week. For 10 of the large meals, I paid about $100; this will provide me lunch & dinner for 5 days. Price wise I found this to be a happy median; other services with menus that changed weekly were at least $130 for the same amount of food, while lower cost services had 5 meals or less to choose from. Get Fit Foods had the perfect balance between variety & price. Nutritionally, the portions & macros are great. One of my favorite meals has 51G of protein, while having less than 8G of carbs & fat. Amazing!!I went to the Midwood location & though there were a good bit of shoppers, they didnt run out of product & had well stocked inventory for every item. It took less than 15 minutes for my hubby & I to pick & pay for our goods. We will continue using this service & definitely recommend to others!
Apart from the obvious, the attention to detail makes this spot unique. The food tastes awesome, is easy to heat (believe everything is sub 2 minute) is detailed with nutritional content, and offers variety to simplify your day. They also have additional snacks, local drinks, and offer a great rewards program. For anyone on the constant go, this place is a must try!
Every single meal option is delicious. And the price point is great.Sign up for their loyalty program - the points add up quick - and be sure to ask them about other special offers they run (double point days, rewards for bringing the containers back, gift card points, etc).Oh, and get the BBQ + Mac. My favorite.
The connivence and consistency of great flavors is the reason I always come back! Favorites and must try is the lamb meat balls with chickpeas and the chicken enchilada bowl. Macros are on point! Taste so good with no guilt :)
The food they have on the website is not the same as in store. The Spicy Chicken Enchilada didnt actually have chicken in it and its cauliflower rice and not cauliflower chucks like in the picture. I think this is a little misleading.
I wish we had this in Richmond! Great food and great value to just pick up, eat, and feel great.
