Terrible experience and customer service. We just moved to the area and my husbands hearing aid broke. I called and asked I I could get an appointment to fix his hearing aid and have his hearing tested. They offered me an appointment right away, however I wanted his hearing tested as well and needed to take off work. We waited a couple of weeks for an appointment, I took off work, and went to the Costco. When we checked in the young woman who checked us in said we only had a 15-minute appointment to get his hearing aid fixed. I said no, we had made an appointment to get his hearing tested as well. Long story short, we waited for 20 minutes to be told they couldn’t test his hearing and they were sorry about the “mix up” but they had another customer coming in 10 minutes. And they didn’t make the appointment so we couldn’t blame them. What happened to accountability and customer service? If they had seen us at our appointment time they probably could have tested his hearing, we could have ordered new hearing aids, and the next customer could have waited the 20 minutes we did. We will not go back. Very frustrated —no matter how nicely they told us they were sorry they didn’t do anything to make it right.
I had my free hearing test performed by Rusty. He was very pleasant and answered all my questions. I had purchased a set of hearing aids in WI four years ago and was having troubles with one of them. Rusty worked with me to resolve the issue. The people at the counter offered excellent service as well. I had the aid repaired at a small fee. The service and hearing aid product offered by Costco is top notch. I am a very satisfied customer and will be purchasing my next set here. The Costco hearing aid department at this Charlotte Tyvola St. Location is a-one.
