Golden Cow Creamery in South Park is our favorite place to take our two boys after any dinner in the area! The staff is always so sweet to them and we all enjoy their classic AND unique flavors! The picnic tables outside are great and we love that this place will be a part of their memories forever!

Good customer service. Price was reasonable. I was disappointed that there was not a flavor with nuts in it (pecans, almonds, walnuts, etc.) They do have chopped peanuts that you can put on top. Not the same but the ice cream was good.

Ice cream had a little too much sugar in it. Its on the sweet side. Good original flavors though! Not bad.

Went there today for the first time. I payed almost 16 $ for 2 milkshakes (vanilla and oreo). A bit pricy but the place is very clean, service was great and milkshakes were delicious. So it’s worth it. Will be back.

First time here and we loved it! I didn’t get to take any photos, because the icecream was so good ahah. I got a cone with classic vanilla and strawberry. My husband got a cone with salted Oreo and mint icecream. (Salted Oreo is heavy on the salt so make sure to ask to taste it first)Absolutely delicious and the place is really clean and friendly. The price was much more worth it compared other icecream shops in Charlotte:) maybe it’s because it’s homemade? We’ll be back on our next date night 😁

Best local ice cream I’ve had. They put together a big order of 25 cups of ice cream for me and had it ready for me to pick up quickly - spoons, napkins, etc.

Ice cream is genuinely one of my favorite things on the planet, and this is some of the best I’ve had. Perfect texture and flavor!

I would have given this establishment a five star but I dont think it really meets the customers concerns when it comes to its vegan products specifically like the vegan almond joy. What I understand is that there is rotation on flavors, but this one is ALWAYS there. It also really limits who can enjoy this because of nut allergies to the ONLY vegan option.

Ice cream was soo good I didn’t get to snap a picture before we ate it. We had chocolate, mint chocolate chip and strawberry and t was delicious. We really enjoyed the fresh cones as well.

I went here with my husband because we heard good things about this place and we were craving ice cream. It’s a good little spot, but nothing life changing. We got a flight(4 flavors) of ice cream and a waffle cone on the side. The honeycomb was both of our favorites, followed by the coco loco. The blackberry hibiscus and salted Oreo were decent, but we probably won’t get them again. Overall, I would go back if I were in the area, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to make a trip here

Once upon a time there lived a boy (thats me, Im that boy) who had a hankering for some ice cream. New to the Charlotte area he asked his good friend, who literally knows everything, Ok Google! find ice cream near me. She replied with a list of local ice cream parlors. That is how he discovered The Golden Cow. The name alone was so intriguing he clicked on it and started reading the reviews. There were so many rave reviews that the boy decided he must try this magical place. Upon his arrival he was greeted gleefully by the staff. They even offered him samples of their flavors. Together they found one that was perfect; Dunkaroos! The boy ordered a double scoop in a waffle cone, enjoyed it more than you could imagine right there in the store, and asked his friend Google to spread the good word about this heavenly establishment. The boy then lived happily ever after! THE END.

I like the ice cream but the server had long hair that was getting into the cold box when she scooped the ice cream. I think she needs to make sure her hair is not a part of the process

Pretty great ice cream Shoppe. The flavors taste really rich. I got the raspberry and mint chocolate chip waffle cone and the blend of the two flavors is delicious.The choices are light but the flavor makes up for it and the prices are very reasonable.

Good actual creamy icecream and interesting flavors

I love this place! It is such a bright and cute place and the employees that work there show the best customer service. I tried the new waffles the sweet Belgian one is a favorite they have so many toppings it’s hard to choose! And when you add a scoop of ice cream with it it is heaven! I encourage everyone to try this place it is my favorite.

Went last night and the guy working was super nice but the ice cream was disgusting. We got three different flavors and all were thrown away immediately after trying it. Very grainy and salty. Not sure if we got a bad batch, but it was very disappointing. Especially for the price.

Got the dunkaroo flavor one scoop on a sugar cone. The toppings of the dunkaroo was great but the icecream itself was not so good. It was grainy which means the quality wasn’t good and they must of used a low percentage of butterfat milk. Icecream was already melty also. Sugar cone was horrible. Tasted like cardboard and stale. Pretty disappointed. The girl working was nice though.

Popped in for a milkshake. Got the salted oreo! Hit the spot. Would have been a 5 star trip, but the person working there did not know how much the t-shirts were? She was very friendly and had her hands full with a couple that was over sampling when I came in. And she got my milkshake made quickly while those two awaited more samples. But you should know how much stuff cost where you work.

Great ice cream shop. You can taste the difference in the quality ingredients...Hence the higher prices. Worth checking out for sure though. Felt like a slightly limited menu compared to other creameries. Some unique flavors. I had the salted Oreo (quite salty) and dunkaroos. My husband had the banana pudding, which he devoured. They even had a margarita flavor. Again, a great local spot for a sweet treat with clean, simple seating & decor.

The ice cream is so delicious and now they have 2 options of waffles being served on the a.m. Yummy!

Love their flavours. Their flavors change very often, based on the season. The salted Oreo, strawberry, lemon blueberry are delicious. Everything on their menu is good and worth a try.

They have some neat flavors and the staff was SUPER friendly. Sadly, the ice cream we tried was just okay. A bit on the icier/watery and not very creamy side.

The ice cream is absolutely incredible. The salted oreo is a MUST. Four stars, considered three, only because the price point is a bit much. But, it is Southpark. So, its to be expected I suppose. For real though, get the salted oreo. Ate it too fast for a picture.

Ive been a big fan of Golden Cow since the day they first opened the original location in Southend. I really view it as Charlottes own ice cream shop since its locally owned and operated. The flavors are unique and a few of the staples are the best youll find anywhere, like Salted Oreo and Dunkaroos. The owners are constantly testing with new/seasonal flavors and its a welcome addition when you want to try something new, although I think most of us tend to come back to the Salted Oreo! While Charlotte has certainly seen a number of outside ice cream shops show up to the scene in recent years, this is still Golden Cows home turf and you would be wise to stick with the local cream!

I liked it. I liked it a lot! Great addition to Morrison Place. I had the mint chocolate chip and it was delicious will definitely be back. Might even try that banana pudding flavor, I have heard it is crazy good. Hahaha.

Eh. The original flavors seemed more trendy than yummy, so went with just chocolate. It was good, but not enough to come back with Ben and Jerrys just down the road.

Great ice cream

Flavors sounded interesting but did not taste great. Mint chip tastes like a dentist visit. Pistachio was boring. Salted Oreo was ok. Will not return, better ice cream out there or in a grocery store.

You will not be disappointed in the menu and service. certainly worth a return visit. food and feeling reminds me of kansas city.

I absolutely love Golden Cow. Jenny’s is completely overrated. The staff at Golden Cow is always friendly and they have the best ice cream I’ve ever tasted. Period.

Love the new location. It is a little further from my house than the original location, But this place is bigger and has a lot more parking to choose from. Salted Oreo is a national treasure. Today I tried to Strawberry and had a scoop of the Berry Crunch. Both delicious. From what the owners said They change flavors on the black Placards weekly but the ones on the white are a constant. 30 minute drive to either location from me, but totally worth it as the quality of the ice cream is truly unmatched. Dont forget to grab a punch card on your first trip, Youll be back. I guarantee it.

Husband and I just got ice cream from here and your service sucked. While the ice cream (vanilla was good)He didnt Care to even smile or greet in a propper manner. Young people now a days need appropriate training

Very icy texture, not creamy; South Park location. Both the honeycomb and chocolate flavors not flavorful. Asked for hot fudge - barely any added and it tasted just like chocolate syrup rather than creamy thick hot. fudge . VERY disappointed

Went with my girlfriend and wife and we all got ice cream. It tastes oddly sour. My girlfriend got a ice cream sandwich. The cookies were hard as a rock. Wife got lime coconut icream and it tastes like suntan lotion. Gross hipster ice cream.

Awesome location! My fiancée and I have gone to their southend location, but their southpark location is way better in my opinion. This store is a lot bigger, easier parking and a lot to do within the area. The ice cream was on point. We both have the strawberry ice cream and it was amazing. You can tell it was made fresh the day of. Definitely will be going back to this location.
