I was introduced to this awesome eye glass 👓 hut by encountering their truck one day! The truck is FLY! Just like the store, the store is FLY! Just like the staff, the staff is FLY just like the 👓😎🕶 amazing collage of eye glasses. I love this place ❤, appreciated my professional, insightful exchange with Autumn & Mr. Johnny FLY himself. 2019 UPDATE: Johnny still has my heart when it comes to glasses and now he even holds it for leather bags. Recently got a new laptop air that he himself told me his wife had a huge part in designing. I just love how Johnny always remembers a face and I’m so glad the business is taking off like it has! Congrats! I am giving it 5 stars because I love there glasses and recommend them to everyone. But the lab where they sens the glasses to be fitted is the issue. Johnny start looking for a new lab.

I have been obsessed with Johnny Fly for a few years now! The glasses are amazing and the customer service you receive is second to none! All of the staff are genuinely concerned with taking care of you. I own 2 pairs, my husband has the prescription sunglasses, all of our daughters have at least 1 pair, my Mom and my best friend are also part of the “Johnny Fly Club”! Shop small, support local, and look fabulous while doing it!

Visited their new location in NoDa (Charlotte, NC) and fell IN LOVE. Johnny himself was there to tell the story of Johnny Fly!!! Not only is this place Local, cool and eco friendly...but both the sunglasses and leather goods are all great quality. Customer service was TOP KNOTCH, I ended up buying 2 pairs of sunglasses! Ive been wearing their sunglasses for about 4 years now. Very stylish, durable, made from recycled material. Well worth the cost and still not expensive compared to Luxotica brands.A 3 year old pair I had was very stretched and their $35 replacement fee was well worth the brand new pair. 10/10

I have a pair of the Johnny Fly glasses that I love and wear them almost everyday. Maybe it was the extreme Texas heat the warped the lens. I told them what happened and they fixed the issue immediately. I have never seen a company respond to a simple request that fast. Excellent customer service!! They have earned my business.

Allow me to preface this review by saying that I do not typically go out of my way to review businesses (I’ve probably written 2-3 reviews in my life). With that said, Johnny Fly is a top notch establishment. I called from out of state, and everyone I spoke with was tremendously knowledgeable and extremely friendly and helpful. Not only was I impressed with their customer service, but they also offered to send me a few pairs to try on, free of charge. I picked the ones I liked, sent back the rest, and a little later received an email invoice. Awesome service feature - kudos to you guys.REGARDING THE ACTUAL GLASSES - these are amazing. True polarized lenses, very clear to look through, and incredibly stylish and sturdy frames. Unfortunately, a few weeks after buying them, I lost the sunglasses, a terrible experience that sent me spiraling into a clinical depression. I dreamt repeatedly of finding the glasses, only to awake each morning to discover, to my dismay, that it had only been a dream, and in reality the beloved glasses were gone. But alas, I found them, and it was a beautiful day which reminded me just how much I cared for these glasses.If you’re on the fence about ordering a pair, do it. They’re awesome. And if you’re not sure, ask them to send a try on box!Keep up the good work over there!

I bought a pair of sunglasses from JF about a year ago and just keep going back. Between my boyfriend and I I think we have about 6 pairs of glasses, and Im sure we will continue to add more JF apparel to our closets for years to come.Ramsey is amazing to work with. She is available to answer questions and address any issues that you may have with your product.So I guess all of that to say I cant say enough good things about Johnny Fly. From their staffs costumer service to the products they design- everything is top notch. Forget the corporate glasses stores and SUPPORT LOCAL. You absolutely wont regret it.

Johnny Fly Co. is the BEST! Their customer service and quality products are exceptional! I have been in there approximately 4 times now and have talked to a few different employees and have always had a great experience. You can tell that their staff really enjoy working there, everyone is always genuinely happy to be there helping with customer needs! I bought a pair of sunglasses for the boyfriend back at Christmas and I grew so envious of how nice and unique they were that I went back for a pair for myself. We both get countless compliments on them. This past weekend my boyfriend broke his pair so we took them over to the store to see what could be done. Their repair cost was more than fair and he was so happy to walk out wearing them again!

This shop is so unique and I love going in there. I love how its minimalistic and clean looking. Their selection of sunglasses are pretty broad for a local shop. My boyfriend bought me a pair of Splinter sunglasses and theyre still my favorite pair. They will happily adjust your frames to fit your face free of charge too! I actually took a pair of sunglasses that my boyfriend bought for himself in there for repair (He accidentally snapped the wooden leg) and they charged me close to nothing to repair them. Theyre such great people and let me not even get started on how amazing their bags are!!! If youre around in NoDa, stop what youre doing and go in Johnny Fly!

Fantastic experience and GREAT pricing for a quality product! I get compliments all the time on my glasses. I have to admit, I did go ahead and put Zeiss lenses in mine because I wanted substantial blue light protection as I work in front of a computer all the time, but the lenses they use seem to be great as well. I have gotten other pairs of wood frames from other manufacturers and although the quality is very similar, the price was not nearly as affordable as Johnny Fly. Great company and great service at their NoDa location!

I have had such a wonderful experience with this company! First off I personally ordered the Messenger Laptop back as a gift for myself after finishing business school. I love the quality, all the pockets and it has been perfect for what I need for work.For Christmas, my family surprised me with the Uptown backpack. The backpack quickly became my favorite bag to carry especially on the weekends throwing a few good books, my laptop, and my Corkcicle Canteen. I noticed in the past few weeks that oddly the leather started to come from the seam at the top of the backpack.On 2/23/2019 I went onto their website and filed the warranty request. Since it was a Sunday I expected 1-3 business days to get a response. Within hours I received an e-mail back, stating if I was ok they would like to mail me a new bag and they would include a shipping label if I could send the one I currently had back to their office so they could see what went wrong to avoid that problem in future productions as that was an unusual issue to have. The Customer Service representative who connected with me had the process super easy and that Friday I had my new bag as promised with a shipping return label.I never expect any company to have perfect products and always know odd things happen in production. Many times however dealing with a company to get things repairs and fixed can be a headache and hassle. This was the way Customer Service should be when a company truly believes in its products and stands by them. I was a huge fan before, but after this experience, I cant help but sing their praise!

Purchase $200 pair of glasses w/ RX lenses.Friendly staff. Nice collection of leather bags.But the glasses. They were bad. Very uncomfortable, leaving red imprints bordering on welts around my nose. Felt like cheap materials; they literally fell apart on me after two months of regular use, starting with the wooden parts cracking.

Until you are in a pair of Johnny Fly’s.... you don’t really see.... Store is manned by amazingly friendly, generous, and knowledgeable peeps.... very calming atmosphere.... go. now.

Everytime I have visited the store the personnel is always very helpful and very knowledgeable about all products in house. Just ordered my first pair of glasses after four visits. Sunglasses will be next.

Ive had my sunnies and leather roll top bag for over a year now absolutely love them both, incredible quality. Ive always had trouble with sunglasses making my head hurt but these are so light while still feeling durable that they dont seem to put pressure on my head. So these will always be the go to sunglasses. Also Ill never need another bookbag so it was absolutely worth the investment. Thanks yall!!
