They need to work on the customer service skills. I asked the lady why there isn’t Ashley furniture in the store like it’s advertised online. Her response was coz if you need to see them then you need to go to ashley furniture and look at them. This is such a shady answer that makes the customer want to just leave and never come back. That’s not how you talk to new customers. You need to welcome people and explain to them what type of business this is and answer questions without being smart. I was planning on buying then i changed my mind. What a good way to loose customers.

Went to this hidden gem today. The staff were super helpful and they had some great pieces! Was able to purchase at an affordable price and able to purchase from floor or even order different colors if needed.

Very nice lady assisted me. But I must admit price point for a store selling damaged freight was over the top.

Still waiting on a couch I paid for in October . Do not order anything custom. Seems to be a 6 month delivery, every single time I call my delivery gets pushed back 30 more days. I’m patient like nice things but seriously????? Contract states that they can charge you if you don’t just shut up and wait until next to never. Don’t buy anything you can’t inspect and take home the same day!

Love this place. Great furniture at great prices. So much in stock to look at. Very nice staff and they do offer delivery. Love it here. My last trip I got this king headboard and a tv console.

If you buy your home or office furnishings from anywhere else, youre doing yourself a disservice. I cant say enough about Transit Damaged Freight and their people. Unsurpassed products and unsurpassed service. Just magnificent quality from top to bottom.

Pretty furniture but EXPENSIVE! Not what you expect with the name of the store.

No Frills showroom. Best prices anywhere. They also know their stuff! You can choose to buy a slightly damaged piece here (which you can never tell has been repaired) at a fraction of the cost, or they can order most anything you want and it will still cost almost half as much or more from the fancy showroom stores. I have bought from them for years. I also do interior design and send many clients here who walk away very impressed! They are very good at what they do! They do have numerous stores in the region. This is a local family owned business and they have been in business for as long as I can remember! The pricing is simple, what you see is what you pay as it is already deeply discounted!

Felt like a bait and switch misrepresentation on their website and facebook page. My family went in excitedly expecting to see what was listed on their website. They had also listed a special two day sidewalk sale on the day we went in so imagine our surprise when the most affordable sofa on the floor was over $1300! This was NOT the $700 sofas and sectionals we were eager to purchase on their website. Nor was there a special sidewalk sale. The name of the store doesnt represent the products. Yes, the products were lovely. No, the site didnt reflect what was actually in the store. I understand if its a single sofa listed on a site, but they had dozens listed. We were then told that it would be 3 to 4 weeks to order a sofa that was listed on the site. Call ahead before visiting so you dont waste your time. If you are looking for nicer brands at discounted prices above a $1300 starting price, theyre your store.

I walked in and out. I did the rounds of the facility. Beautiful stuff and along with the beauty came the money. Damaged to me means cheap, used. Not! Were talking $109 lamps, bedroom suits $5,900-$7500, dressers $600, bookcases,close to $300-$496. Antique looking stuff. Hey I could be wrong on some of the prices of the damaged furniture just take it up twice as much. None of that stuff looked damaged to me. The price didnt represent damaged. Ritzy Rich yes. But it is Beautiful. The stuff smelled new. For those who can afford it; you will get a true blessing and a house full of beautiful furniture. Go shopping.

A little hard to get to but worth the effort. Lots of beautiful furniture, many unique accent pieces, helpful & friendly staff. If there was any freight damage on these items, it must be minimal!

I have been looking at furniture for weeks including driving to High Point. Lisa was incredibly knowledgeable and their prices were thousands less for the exact same furniture. Dont be misled by the name. They can order almost anything! I will always go there first!

Unique items. Very extensive selections. Somewhat pricey. Clerk seemed combative argumentative and made me feel uncomfortable to ask questions or for assistance. Young man who put items in my vehicle was kind cheerful and made me feel as if my business was appreciated.

Reading the reviews that say they are overpriced is shocking to me. Those people must not buy Furniture outside the rooms-to-go stuff. Each time I find a piece I like, I take it to the ladies at Transit and they find it for me at a much better price.They sell furniture that is real wood so if you are used to buying the particle board stuff then yes, this will be a bit more. However, it will last as long as you need it to.

I have been buying furniture from these friendly folks for many years. It is always my go to source for both office and residential needs. Delivery guys are awesome, store staff is helpful and knowledgeable.

A little expensive but the quality of there goods were phenomenal, there were unique pieces not seen in many places that were simply astonishing pieces of art, however the prices will run you right back out the door its more like a high end furniture store, there wasnt anything damaged about the fruniture but the price

First, forget the name and just go look at the furniture. Then forget the fact that it’s not a showroom, showing you how they think you should set up your furniture and spend some time hunting for quality items. I bought 2 pieces right before Christmas and they were just delivered today (A little over 3 weeks time - I opted for them to hold one piece in their warehouse while the new piece I ordered was shipped since there is a charge for delivery. When it arrived a week ago I delayed delivery to accommodate my schedule).The piece I purchased in their shop and had slight damage, which is not noticeable and which they touched up. It retails for approximately 5 times what I paid for it based on my web searches. The other piece, which I ordered new, I also got an exceptional price on over retail (I paid well under half). I easily saved more than a few thousand dollars on these pieces combined.When the delivery truck arrived, the men made it very clear to me up-front that my new footboard was damaged slightly in shipping and that they would set the bed up immediately but have already ordered the replacement piece, which theyd bring back and swap out when the replacement arrived. They also showed me exactly the damage (a smallish gash) during set-up so I knew what they had noticed and were addressing.The deliverymen spent a long time here, much of it carefully hauling in a huge desk in a way that wouldnt touch my floors and walls. The pieces I purchased were both big, heavy and solidly built so they take more effort to bring in carefully than lighter, cheaply made and/or assembly-required furniture. It is raining and muddy out so they (without my asking) brought in furniture pads and lined the entire trail to bring in the furniture so they wouldnt track anything over my floors. They also made sure my furniture never touched the ground outside. Unfortunately my bed doesnt exactly fit my already existing mattress/base without some tweaking, though they believed it would. They did not have the tools to tweak it, but one of the deliverymen made it very clear that while they were late for their next delivery hed be back here after that with what he needed to make sure my bed was completely set up by tonight, and to bring a piece of my desk that had gone missing. All of it proactively, without me bringing any of it up.The long and the short of it is this - If you dont need to see things in a shiny showroom setting, you have an open mind about what you may find in stock or may have to order, and youre willing to spend time searching their store and imagining the pieces they do have properly set up in your home then this is an excellent place to get a phenomenal deal. They have, from the moment I first saw the piece I wanted, to the email barrage back and forth with my questions on ordering the piece they didnt have, to delivering all of it - been not only accommodating and polite, but have gone out of their way to make sure any issues were addressed up-front by them rather than me having to ask. When you add all that to the thousands of dollars saved on very high quality furniture this is an excellent place to shop. Think high-end showroom furniture at almost IKEA-like prices with excellent service from beginning to end. I still need to hunt down a few smaller items and accent pieces but based on this experience I know exactly where I will buy them.Keep in mind all sales are final and there are no refunds so make very sure of what you are getting before you buy it, and make sure you know what the ‘damage’ is if it is in the store. Also remember delivery is extra, or you can pick up. All of this is displayed visibly at their front desk so nothing is ‘hidden’ in their policies. Frankly the cost of delivery was FAR outweighed by the phenomenal service of their deliverymen (ask for Joe – his customer service on deliveries is AMAZING), who proactively handled everything that happened (from soggy weather to uncooperative pieces to a small missing part)
